In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I'm currently implementing Mognet - a teleportation service between worlds, so you guys can better get around if you are lacking in a ship or star-shard or whatever.
Please don't mess with them for now. I'll update this thread when it is completed, including details how this new system will work. Don't worry, it's nothing terribly complicated.
Took me a bit longer than I liked to get this implemented since I first proposed the idea, but Mognet is now finished and ready for use.
Before I get any further into this, however, I’d like to make a small note: this is the first iteration of Mognet, and is by no means absolutely perfect and is subject to change in regards to how it is run, which worlds are connected to which hub, etc.
The idea of quests was presented, but due to staff being not, well, enthralled with that idea it will remain tabled for the time being. Money to. If anything, I wanted to get a simple system out that’ll make it easier for characters without access to Gummi Ships or Star Shards, or what-not to get about. Maybe more features will be added in the future, maybe not. For now, we’ll see how this goes, alright?
That all said, let’s jump on into it.
What is Mognet?
Simply enough, it’s a system of crystals inter-connected magically that can teleport people instantly between worlds. Oh, and it’s run by Moogles. …Pretty much FFXII. If you don’t have a means to traverse the worlds, the crystals will be how your character will primarily get around. However, they will only take you to a set number of locations.
Which worlds are connected with the crystals?
Radiant Garden, Traverse Town, Twilight Town, Disney Castle, Destiny Islands, Pride Lands, Land of Dragons, Atlantis, Wonderland, Halloween Town, and Olympus Coliseum.
There are three “Hub” worlds: Radiant Garden, Traverse Town, and Twilight Town. The Hub worlds are all interconnected – you can get to Radiant Garden from Traverse Town and so on – but the other worlds, like Destiny Islands, can only be reached from their respective Hub, and the crystal on that world can only take you back to its Hub.
For example: You can reach Destiny Islands from Radiant Garden, but not from Twilight Town. On Destiny Islands you can only take the world’s crystal back to Radiant Garden, it’s Hub.
The World That Never Was and areas found in In, Out, and About (like Castle Oblivion) are not reachable via Mognet. These locations are considered volatile and the Moogles would prefer not to extend their services to these locations.
Also note that the Moogles, on occasion, will shut down services to certain worlds, should their safety become compromised. They don’t want to be sending you to your doom. If you’re still hell-bent on going to closed locations, however, you’ve better find your own means. (This will only happen, of course, with plot events… more on that later. ;3)
How does Mognet work?
It’s very, very easy.
All that’s asked of you is go to your current location’s Moogle/crystal, and reply the respective thread with WHO will be traveling, and WHERE they will be going.
And an example post for Blondie McDumb Blonde would go as such:
“Cadence will be traveling from Traverse Town to Wonderland.”
That’s all you need to do. Each time you use a crystal, you will need to make note of it. Pretty much to keep track of who is going where and when they went. There’s no need to… interact with the Moogles. (That will come into play with future events.)
So my character can be in two places at once?
…yes...no…maybe…
It would be greatly appreciated that you don’t bilocate constantly – or god forbid trilocate. While your character cannot be in two places at once, you can play them in two threads where one takes place in the past, they traveled, and now they are in another world in the future…
Just have an established timeline for your character, where they are at a current time in relation to all their other threads.
Are there people who CAN’T use Mognet?
Yup.
Heartless, Nobodies, villains, those who manage to make themselves a bad reputation, oh hey, who’s that guy coming up to us, kupo? With the white flowing hair, kupo? And the feathers, and the exposed midriff, and the thong – OH GOD IT’S KUJA.
The Moogles have the right to deny service. If you’re a mega, super-duper douche that likes to go on killing sprees? Yeah, odds are they will shut down their services to you. Moogles don’t serve assholes.
And also Heartless, Nobodies, and those aligned with the Darkness can generally move about the worlds via the Corridors of Darkness anyway.
In short, earn the ire of the Moogles and you’ll be hitch-hiking.
Oh, and STAR SHARDS. If you own a Star Shard, you CANNOT us the crystals. The Moogles are looking into the problem, but they’ve found that the crystals react violently to Star Shards. The last poor schmuck that had a Star Shard and used the crystals ended up in multiple locations… in pieces. So for your own safety, just… don’t do it, man…
Anything else I should know?
Really, that’s all there is to know about Mognet. If you have any further questions regarding it, this thread will be opened for you to ask them.
That said and done, I’ll start unlocking the Mognet crystals for your use. Happy travels!

P.S. - With Mognet done, I will finally be able to start working on a plot event I've been kicking around. So keep a heads up for it, lest everything burns. :3
