In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Why? Why was THIS the mission they'd given to him? Probably because the last one he'd disappeared so they figured they'd have to see if he could even be trusted with a meaningful mission. He gave a sigh. And what was the meaningless mission he'd been given? To get a freaking time bomb heartless. Well, as long as he was here, there wasn't any harm in finding the worlds heart. The only way he'd get back to the status he was at was to going over and beyond the call of duty right?
Those where his thoughts as he stepped out of the portal, the darkness clinging to his body as if water. He brushed some of his red hair out of his eyes and looked around as the portal silently feel into the floor and then disappeared as if it were never there. It appeared he'd made his storm on Disney Castle starting from a storage closet. Opening his palm he let a ball of flame stay suspended on his hand to light up the area. The dull glow flicked and danced across the walls and the surfaces of the items being stored. Turning his head from left to right Lea looked around, taking in his environment. Lifeless brooms grouped in the corner. A couple boxes stacked up to reach his waist just beside him. Buckets were scattered about the walls where they met the floor. He frowned.
For a castle this place was pretty damn crappy. With a sigh he walked forward, toward the door. Lea pushed the door and it sung open silently, yet quickly. He walked out into the hallway as if he wasn't deep into keyblader territory. Looking around, he noted that there was no one around, and nodded. Good.
He let the flame in his hand die, then snapped his fingers. Expecting a crowd of heartless he waited for a second or two, however there was nothing. He blinked, then looked to his hand. Was this yet another effect of the darkness swallowing him as it had? Growling slightly he snapped again, and what appeared surprised him. A group of shadows, a few neo-shadows(this surprised him the most), a couple large body's and a few wyverns. He grit his teeth as there were no minute bombs.
Oh well, the only way he'd be able to get back into the dark XII good graces was to go above and beyond the call of duty. Why not pin-point the heart of Disney Castle while he were here, eh? A smirk spread across his face as he looked to the heartless.
"Listen up!" he half yelled to the dark entities. "Here's what's gonna happen, all heartless on this side of me," he gestured to his right, "are going to go find a minute bomb heartless and bring it back to me whether it wants to come or not." now he gestured to his left "and you guys get the fun job. Find the heart of this world and report it to me. Do NOT take it. Find it, report back. Everyone clear?" he paused, and waited for a 'question'. "Good, now get goin'!!" he shouted. There was a bit more than irritation in his voice. Each and every heartless vanished and left to complete their tasks that was given to them.

((This is almost depressing. This thread has been at a standstill far too long so I’ve come to help you out.))
Rellen had flew here in her gummi ship, it was small, light and fast, she had been merely searching around when she saw this giant castle, something strange about it drew her to it.
She had just walked up what seemed to be a never-ending staircase until she finally emerged into… into! A garden.
She glanced around slowly, it sure was beautiful, and it was peaceful and seemed so tranquil. She walked along the gardens for a few moments remembering the funny scene with the squirrel that had greeted him, what was his name… chip? As long as she didn’t disturb anything she was free to look around the grounds, she sure was happy she came; it was such a beautiful place.
That’s when she saw it; a single shadow had appeared in front of her. “ Oh shhhhhugar” she half cursed to it. “Thieves of heart.” That’s when she began running, she ran and ran and ran but it was following her in that strange stalkerish, under the ground shadowy thing that they seemed to do a lot. That’s when she tripped, the ground wasn’t level, shed fallen over and as she glanced back up looked directly at the yellow eyes. That’s when she kicked; the heartless flew back a good metre before re-approaching her.
This was going to be a bad day, where was her knight in shining armour?
Lea walked through the white halls of the castle. He looked with disgust upon the black and white floor tiles, the white walls that seemed to GLOW. To put it bluntly, it was gross. Where was the color? The creativity? Whoever the delusional bastard was that designed this place needed some serious help. Sighing he wandered about. The heartless he had sent out were taking longer to find the minute bomb than he thought they would. Hell, this world was full of the things, what on earth was taking them so long?
He looked to the ground as he walked, puzzled by these events. He wandered about, no longer paying attention to where he was going, the black and white tiles blending into gray in his vision as his mind delved deeper into the thought. He no longer paid attention to how long he'd walked or how far. Only a sigh was produced from the vacancy that had taken him.
What was taking those heartless so long? Had the minute bombs moved to another world? Had someone killed all the heartless he'd sent? And what of the heartless that he'd sent to find the worlds heart? What had happened to them? Had they been exterminated? Thinking about it he finally came to the conclusion that the only being capable of killing ALL of those heartless was a keyblader. Or one worthy of the term. A nobody possibly, and certainly a member of the Organization. However, what were the odds of one of the thirteen nobodies coming here?
Not all that likely he finally resigned himself to the fact that they were just taking a while, or probably screwing around. Either way, Lea was starting to get pissed. If he saw one of those heartless screwing around he'd-
“Thieves of heart.”
Lea blinked and his vision melded back to normality. Looking around he realized he was in an open hall. To his left there was no wall; only pillars that, like everything else, seemed to glow. Walking over inbetween two pillars he placed his hands on the guard rail and looked down into the garden. At first, he saw nothing of any interest to him until a young girl rounded a corner in the garden, running.
Thief of heart. he thought, a growl in his head. Opening his palm he gathered energy into it. He felt his hand perspire as the thermal energy built up, then unleashed itself into a flame the shape of a knife. He watched as the young girl tripped on the uneven ground and watched as the black puddle built up into the form of a shadow heartless, one of the exact ones he'd sent out to hunt for the minute bomb. His eyes narrowed.
As she kicked the heartless Lea took his aim. The heartless flew back and landed, only to get up again. Lea threw the knife shaped flame at the weak heartless. His aim was spot on. It sliced through the heartless which disappeared into a puff of shadow. The knife lost it's form as it hit the ground and dispersed into nothing, leaving a charred mark in the grass where it had landed. Stupid heartless, going after a pitiful girl rather than completing the task charged to him.
With a sigh, he looked to the girl. Well, this was certainly unexpected. Maybe if this had been a few months prior, he might have been interested. However, this was the present and not the past. He had no such interest now. If she stayed out of his way, he didn't give a fuck, if she could be used... well then things may get interesting.
Rellen glanced down and saw the shadow disperse into nothing, some kind of fiery shot had hit it. What was that? Rellen glanced around slowly, looking for the source when she saw a man standing looking over in her direction. Was it him?
She attempted to get back to her feet but her ankle failed her, she felt embarrassed, her cheeks glowing red as she realised she must of sprained her ankle. She quickly grabbed her bag out and flung it in front of her so it was resting on her lap, opening it up she quickly removed what appeared to be a shard of some sort, whispering words as she slammed it down, it turned into a strange white glow and formed into a potion. She opened the potion, applying it to her ankle and felt invigorated, the pain leaving her and the sprain now gone.
She got up quickly, the blood rushing to her head and re-attached her bag to her back. Walking briskly over towards the man she said, “Thank you, that thief almost had me then, I feared the worst.” Her bag was now zipped up but the remnants of potion where on her hand; she wiped them on her arms, trying to remove the strange substance.
“Thanks for saving me; I’m Rellen, the locksmith. I now owe you a favour” She smiled, she had been brought up right and her knight in shining armour had come to her and now she had to repay him with some kind of kindness, not matter how small, she felt indebt to this man.
“So what can I do for you? Any locks you need opening? Doors? Keys made, I can do anything you want” she smiled gleefully, she wasn’t meant to get involved with this world but she now owed a favour, this changed things.

((Sorry in advance for the crap post))
Lea watched with a large hint of detachment as the woman applied what appeared to be a potion to her ankle. Hmmph, to have need of a potion after a fight with only one Shadow attacking. This woman obviously hadn't seriously fought a day in her life it seemed. There was a momentary lack of interest as he knew she could be of no use to him. He'd even considered walking away, but that was when he saw her coming toward him. Annoyance flashed through him like a lightning bolt, but otherwise he looked as contempt as they came.
“Thanks for saving me; I’m Rellen, the locksmith. I now owe you a favour”
He nodded, the hint of detachment still there as she offered him her favor. As if he'd needed one. The heartless would take care of any favors he'd need...
Wait, did she say Locksmith?
“So what can I do for you? Any locks you need opening? Doors? Keys made, I can do anything you want”
Oh yes, she said Locksmith all right. Maybe this girl COULD be of some use to him...
"A locksmith you say?!" he said excitedly, putting on a face of relief. "Thank god you're here! I locked my keys in the castle, but I can't remember where! I've searched everywhere but I can't find them. They must be locked in one of the rooms! Think you can help me out?" he asked sounding almost desperate. Oh yes, she could be of very much use to him.

((Really sorry about the post, theyve been coming out all blahh like recently.))
Rellen contemplated the thoughts over… keys in the castle? It seemed a bit fishy, who was this guy… then it came to her! “ OHHH! You must be the castle guard! That’s why you saved me” he smiled at him lightly before continuing. “ I’m sorry, for a moment I thought you had evil intentions but someone that saved another’s life cant be evil right?” She smiled, content with her ideas.
“Show me the door, ill get it open one way or the other, it’s a good job I packed lots of shards with me for just such an occasion eh?” with that she quickly pillaged through her bag getting out a single shard and crushing it in her hand, it glowed white and formed into a potion. “Here, you’re the guard, you might need this” she said politely handing him the potion.
“Ok, so, which door you want opening?” she said standing near to him, wondering what door she would have to open to pay back her debt.

“ OHHH! You must be the castle guard! That’s why you saved me”
Well... Lea was thinking more along the lines of Janitor, but guard made a lot more sense. He nodded quickly changing the approach to the woman. A bit of the story he'd quickly made up had to of been changed. Instead of a desperate janitor, he was a desperate guard. He'd heard her yell "thief of heart" and came to her aid while looking for the keys. Yes, this would work quite well to his favor.
“ I’m sorry, for a moment I thought you had evil intentions but someone that saved another’s life cant be evil right?”
He nodded in agreement to her statement before his red eyes shifted to the left slightly. There a shadow laid in awaited ambush. He raised his hand and brushed a few locks of hair out from his eyes, revealing the fiery red irises. The movement was more of a command then anything. The shadow took the command and, reluctantly, went off to carry out the orders previously spoken.
“Show me the door, ill get it open one way or the other, it’s a good job I packed lots of shards with me for just such an occasion eh?”
"One can never be to careful anymore." he nodded in reply. "All these damned heartless roaming about you never know what'll happen." Of course, he was talking of himself and the others of the Dark XII and all the others of his kind, but whatever. Anything to complete this mission. It was a simple one too, find the keyhole and the minute bomb heartless and there you go! Easy-peezy, the only real challenge was finding the keyhole, and she'd just gave him a chance to make that three times as easy as it would have been. He hid a smirk as he thought, then the girls voice awoke him from his thought.
“Here, you’re the guard, you might need this”
This... might be bad. If he didn't accept the potion, he may insult her. However, if he did and it was a test then she may conclude the fact that he wasn't a guard, since a guard logically would've had plenty of potions. He decided insulting her was better than his lie being caught and waved his hand.
"It's fine. I have plenty of potions of my own, thank you. Besides, you may have need of it yourself." he said in a tone that hinted at compassion. Now, he just had to figure out where someone would place a keyhole in this world. The throne room seemed like a proper place. Luckily, Lea knew exactly where it was too.
“Ok, so, which door you want opening?
Suppressing a smirk, Lea turned and started to walk in the throne rooms direction. He waved his hand over his shoulder and yelled over his shoulder "Come on, it's this way!" He continued to walk, his red hair billowing out behind him in the slight breeze. Yes, if things went according to plan, this would be a good day for him. He felt almost sad as he knew he'd have to get rid of this girl after his use for her was done.

Rellen looked up to the fiery red eyes, those filled with emotion, she was never a good person watched but red eyes seemed so… drawing. She looked as he flung his hair to the side.
He had rejected her potion, she wasn’t that upset, it was logical; of course the guard had his own potions, DUH! She slowly tucked away the potion into her backpack and withdrew her Moogle teddy bear. Holding it by her side she began to follow the man.
“Sooo… What’s your name then?” she smiled enthusiastically at him, “ Its only fair as, well, you know mine,” she laughed again trying to raise the mood as she was led onward by this stranger, her mind suddenly clicked… What was she doing? She was following someone she knew nothing about, Ahhh hell, like it mattered? They was on such a nice world and she /had/ saved him.
She started to fidget her Moogle teddy to the sides, pressing her fingers into its back, she withdrew something small, something that shined but at the same time was blunt, she placed it into her palm and continued, heading towards the door. “ So how did you become the guard of this place?” she asked innocently.
It was then that Rellen’s ghast showed up. It greeted her with an evil mocking laugh, flying around the couple, chuckling at them both, it would occasionally pull faces behind Lea and press its hand through various parts of Rellen and leas bodies. It was… annoying, why oh why did Rellen ever look in that crypt?

((Sorry in advance for the crap post...))
“Sooo… What’s your name then?”
"My name? Lea." he said matter-of-factly. It was truth. He'd had enough expirance in lying to know that, usually, when you lied about your name you ended up sticking your foot in your mouth at one time or another. That's how lies worked. You had to keep them straight, and if you didn't you were screwed. A name was so automatic that it became instinct after a while, responding to it and such. He walked along, the grass being crushed under his feet as he walked along the soft turf. His hair bounced with his steps the sunlight giving it a sheen as it rippled and waved as the slight breeze blew.
“ So how did you become the guard of this place?”
...
.....
Fuck. That was his first thought. That was the ONLY thing he hadn't anticipated. How had he became a guard? Good question, and he didn't have a good answer. He had to think this through. How would someone become a guard of a castle filled with fucking mice? A very interesting question indeed, one Lea intended to learn for himself one day. It could pay off in the future. Mulling it over for a moment, he finally came up with a believable story. Or one he had hoped was believable.
"Well... when I was a kid, my world was taken by heartless." he said walking around a turn, flanked to his right by a giant hedged shaped like some kind of animal playing an instrument. He spotted the door at the end of the path. "I woke up here and lived out my life here. A while back there was this infestation of heartless, and I was one of the people who fought them back. After that, I decided to become a guard. Protect my home you know?" Finished he approached and opened it for her. He hoped it was a believable lie, if not then he would be totally screwed. As far as this girl went. He looked to her and watched, waiting to see if she had believed him or saw through the sham.

“I like lea, it’s a cool name” she smiled.
Some people where good at picking out lies, people could pick it out my impulse reactions such as playing with ones hair, eyes shifting to the left when creating a past even and to the right if actually remembering true events. Scratching of facial features, especially the neck and nose and most importantly, the story always changed. Rellen was not one of these people.
“Your world was taken too? That’s so sad, mine did, I only escaped because I was told to go find a way to seal the heart to our world… If I could do that then I could open and close them at will” she smiled lightly at him. “ But before I could do much else the world crumbled away before my eyes, my safe inside a gummi ship.” She didn’t mind telling this story, keeping her voice very matter of factly.
They walked along through the grass, the annoying ghast still flying around them, poking lea consistently through the head. “ Sorry about him… I found him and he hasn’t left me alone since.” She apologised to lea, hoping that she could make up for everything with the opening of the door.
“So, any idea where your keys might be? You do know… I could probably not just open the door, but create you a new key?” she smiled at him sweetly, hopefully she could get on the guards good side, it was always a good thing to have a strong friend.
Rellen continued onwards, oblivious to the ploys of the evil Lea, it all seemed so normal to her for now, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. “ I wonder how heartless can even get here? I thought that a castle this big would have had some kind of defence system. On our planet we had the paladins, people that could bend light itself, very effective.” She smiled lightly. “ Never been any good at it” she laughed.

“I like lea, it’s a cool name”
Lea had to admit, it was a better name than most of the heartless of the dark XII were cursed with. Names such as Ienzo, Elaeus and so on. It was spelled weird for the way it sounded. Sounding like "Lee" and being spelled like "Lea" was a bit strange to say the least. He didn't mind though. It was just a name, a thing. What did it matter to him?
“Your world was taken too? That’s so sad, mine did, I only escaped because I was told to go find a way to seal the heart to our world… If I could do that then I could open and close them at will”
Lea blinked. This was a VERY interesting girl indeed. Open and close the heart of the worlds at will? Very interesting. Xehanort may have use for her, thus he may have use for her as well. He thought for a moment. Get rid of her, or take her prisoner? In the World that Never Was her heart would probably be swallowed fairly quickly. The more he thought about it, the better it seemed.
“ But before I could do much else the world crumbled away before my eyes, my safe inside a gummi ship.”
Okay, so some manipulation had to be involved. That would be fairly easy. Hell, already the gears were working in his favor. Unlock the power, get her to The World that Never Was, and there you go. The Dark XII has a new weapon. He hid a smirk as the finer points came along soon enough. He threw away his previous plans to do away with the girl, instead attempted a link with her. He would need her trust.
“ Sorry about him… I found him and he hasn’t left me alone since.”
Lea blinked, and looked around. There was no one that he could see. A stalker hidden away somewhere? If so, why the hell was she apologizing? He decided not to pursue the issue. He only shrugged not feeling the poking he was receiving from this invisible visitor. He walked on, in unawares.
“So, any idea where your keys might be? You do know… I could probably not just open the door, but create you a new key?”
He nearly burst out in laughter. Good thing Lea knew how to bottle up his emotions. This was just TOO perfect!! Now she was offering him an all time pass to the door! Wonderful! He had to let his hair fall in front of his face to hide a three second smirk before he swished the red carpet out of his face, once again revealing his red eyes to the world once again.
"Really?! Oh, that'd be great!" he said rubbing the back of his head with a sheepish and slightly apologetic smile "The thing is I have no idea where I put the keys in there. I think they're in the throne room, but I'm not sure." he said. This, was just to great. He held back a laugh as he continued down the hallway, the door to the throne room visible to him.
“ I wonder how heartless can even get here? I thought that a castle this big would have had some kind of defence system. On our planet we had the paladins, people that could bend light itself, very effective.”
Bend light? Also interesting, but Lea focused on the heart of the worlds.
“ Never been any good at it”
He apparently couldn't do anything with the bending of the light anyway, so he ignored that and focused on what lie in front of them. The throne room.
"There it is." he said pointing to the large door. It was high as the ceiling of this place. He walked toward it, looking to it with an eagerness in his eyes, a certain anxiety. Finally, the dark XII could see him for what he was. If the keyhole were here. If only it were here.

Rellen walked alongside the darkness, completely unaware of what she was getting herself into, it was then he stopped, she continued several more paces unaware he had stopped before turning right around.
“Wow, big door?” she said with a giggle looking at it. “ So this is what you want opening?” she glanced towards the door, looking at it.
“Silence please” she placed a hand towards him, not actually looking at him, facing palm towards him like a stop sign. She walked back a few steps, glaring at the door, analysing it, focusing on the key points. Her eyes became strained, the pupils shrank to minuscule dots and she entered her locksmith mode.
Walking to the door she knocked it lightly with her knuckles. “ Strange. There’s no keyhole” then she glanced to just left of the middle. “ Oh wait, that’s quite cool.” She walked towards the middle of the door then slightly left of it. To the naked eye it looked like a normal piece of door, to Rellen it was a lock.
Dropping her bag she looked through her supplies, happy she had bought a lot of synthesising gems from the land of dragons. She took the potion out, gripped it in her hand and willed it to change back, it glowed white and then formed back into its original shard. “ I can do this” she smiled.
Grabbing several components she said “This door isn’t all that tricky, but it seems that at some point a VERY powerful magic shield was placed over it… it looks almost as strong as the heart of a worlds lock… but that’s not up so no need to worry.” She placed the several synthesising materials together, grasping them into one, she pressed it towards the door, slowly the door crept open, not the big one but the small out cut bit of the door.
The white glow in her hand settled into a small key. “There’s no actual keyhole, but if you press the key here” she prodded the small bit of the door that had just opened. “ You can open and close the door” She walked back to her bag, picking it up slowly, dropping the master she had. “Oops” she said as she picked it up replacing it to her pocket.
Walking back over to Lea the saviour guard she held out a small key, its handle shaped like a heart. “ I believe this is yours good knight” she smiled and awaited further instruction.
The small Nobody sat in the Throne itself as the door opened, a flute to his imaginary mouth. No wind blew through the chamber, but sweet, melodious notes jumped through the air, a jumbled minuet that jumped and bounced with the antennas from the Nobody's head. It laid back in the chair, its thin fingers stretching across the holes, and the false emotions the music brought bounded in its empty chest. The Nobody loved the music, and even other Nobodies were drawn to it, for music held emotion itself, and the Nobody found it to be quite enjoyable, even if it was false.
The flute kept going as the two people appeared in the doorway. and the Nobody did nothing. Naturally. He kept playing his song as if oblivious to the newcomers.

(sorry about the wait, the hell of this week had an effect on my muse)
Lea raised a brow as she continued walking. Deep within her thoughts? Or just an absent girl? Either way it wasn't good to lose yourself like that, especially with someone like Lea right behind you. It wasn't exactly a GOOD thing to do ANYWHERE.
Where ever there was darkness, there were heartless. And every light cast a shadow...
“Wow, big door?” Lea fought the urge to wince at her giggle, and smiled a bit instead. “ So this is what you want opening?”
"Yep, that's the door. I always thought it was a bit to big but... eh, I didn't build the castle." he said with a shrug. Honestly, he didn't care HOW big it was so long as he got inside it. He could only watch as she held up her hand, palm flat and facing him, and her pupils shrunk to minuscule dots. To be honest, it looked less like she were trying to open a door, and more like she were on crack. Lea didn't say anything though, he only watched as she started to mess with the lock.
Then, something arose in his chest.
It wasn't a good something either. It was something that could spell failure for him if not handled properly. But if handled properly, could spell success in such a sweet sweet voice. He concealed a grin with his hand, sweeping some red hair out of his eyes as he watched her.
“This door isn’t all that tricky, but it seems that at some point a VERY powerful magic shield was placed over it… it looks almost as strong as the heart of a worlds lock… but that’s not up so no need to worry.”
At her first words, an anxiety built up in his chest. If she couldn't open that door he was fucked. But as the last of her sentence drained out of her lips he relaxed. She could open it and, almost by Lea's will, the door crept open. He smiled.
“There’s no actual keyhole, but if you press the key here." Lea looked to where she prodded the door. “ You can open and close the door”
He nodded looking back to her. "I owe you my thanks." he said with a smile.
“Oops” Lea didn't see what she had dropped, only her bed over, pick it up, and stuff it back into her pocket. “ I believe this is yours good knight”
Lea smiled and took the key. The earlier him may have asked about this being the key to her heart, but this him just smiled a bit wider at the heart shape of the key and pocketed it. Walking toward the door he swung it open farther.
"Would you like to join me?" he asked looking to the girl, the nobody still completely on his mind. As he stepped in he blinked at the silvery figure on the throne, but couldn't make out much else about it. Only that it was thin, and there seemed to be some kind of tune coming from what appeared to be and instrument of some kind the nobody had.
It seemed to be playing emotions itself. The air seemed to sizzle and dance along to the music. Lea's eyes narrowed and he stepped in front of the girl.
"A nobody." he said. "He's after the world's heart." Lea looked over his shoulder to her. "Think you can lock it while I distract him?"

((OMG! You should of PM’d me, I completely forgot about this post, im such a dolt, my great apologies. Also sorry about the shit post lol))
Rellen walked up behind Lea, she felt slightly unappreciated but Lea was a guard, this kind of thing probably didn’t seem strange to him at all, that’s when she saw it, just as Lea spoke the word she muttered it beneath her breath “ Nobody” the white things that stole just like the heartless… she couldn’t fight it what could she do? Panic rose through her, vomit threatening to be exposed because of her shock… wait? Was it playing an instrument? “What’s that… its such a sweet melody” she mumbled to herself, listening to it.
"He's after the world's heart Think you can lock it while I distract him?"
“No problem” Rellen muttered, broken out of the alluring sound of the instrument, in a flash she had thrown her bag to the ground and taken out several large shards. She placed them together quickly, the white magical light that always surrounded her synthesising appeared, merging the components into a strange hexagon panel. She began shouting the words out quickly, strange words. “ ealsey indbey eltey hemtey ntineeey!” The words rang out and she threw the hexagonal panel into the air, quickly it began to multiply, it formed around the entire room, forming a large barrier around the throne room, no one was getting out of this room until she wanted them to.
