In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Ariel opened her eyes, expecting to see Eric. Instead, she was met with bright lights shining down on her. She looked around frantically. She seemed to be in the middle of some sort of town square. She stood up quickly, her blue eyes scanning the area. This definitely wasn't Eric's kingdom. Nor was it Atlantica. So where was she? She remembered that she had fallen asleep while she had been reading in Eric's study. But for some reason, she woke up in a completely different place. Her first explanation was that she was dreaming. She pinched herself lightly in order to find out if she was awake or not. She was awake alright. "Eric?" She called out, only to get strange looks from the people passing by. The teenager started to get worried. "Eric!" She shouted again, and again, there was no answer. She wandered around the First District, looking for her husband to no avail. She sat down on the steps outside of the accessory shop glumly, and a single tear rolled down her cheek. What on earth was going on?

(=3 luckily...I have a charry IIIN TRAVERSE TOWN!)
A soft hum whispered softly in long sighs like a joyful spirit riding on the breeze. Strolling Jadis the White Witch was quite pleasant today for reasons unknown. There weren't any threats or stress, and it was quite relaxing to not replicate her past life experience again. She have awakened in this world, nor had made plans to leave it just yet. Instead, she wanted to become very familiar with her surroundings in this world.
Her memory was starting to pick up on the usual faces she sees along with the patterns of chattering, talking, and gossiping. She knew which way led to a dead end, when the mail man arrived, and when the accessory shop closed. The particular world held its own cool smell, but the taste of salt reached her nose, which was highly unusual. There weren't any oceans nearby, and Jadis can hardly find anyone crying in this world. There's a first for everything. Right on the stairs of the accessory shop say a lone red head child with a single tear staining her cheeks.
Dark green eyes softened at the sight with an arched brow. This face was highly foreign. Her skin was sun-kissed with soft hair that even smelled of sea-salt. Her eyes were an expressive blue that seemed to ripple with her tears. A pale hand brushed back fair light blond hair behind the small crown: it was silver and rimmed her forehead with ice droplets resting against her cool skin. Her lengthy dress dragged along the ground as usual; funny how it never accumulated in dirty or stains.
Ariel glanced at the buildings around her. One thing was certain--the place was huge and easy to get lost in. This was almost just as bad as when she fell into the Abyss back in Atlantica when she was younger, except this time, there was no King Triton to rescue her. She was alone.
The thought only made Ariel weep more. She dabbed at her face with the handkerchief that was in the pocket of her blue dress. The thing that bothered her the most was the fact that she had no idea where she was, and no idea how far away Eric's kingdom was. The people here were dressed differently, so the princess could only guess that she was pretty far away. Normally, she'd be delighted at the new place, and want to explore it, but she had friends and family back home.
"Sweet sweet child, why do you weep?"
Ariel looked up to see a beautiful woman dressed in white staring down at her. She hiccuped before answering, "I'm lost." She felt embarrassed. She probably did sound like a child. "I mean..one minute ago I was at home, reading a book..then the next minute, I end up here. The problem is I don't even know where here is."
"How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I've become so numb Without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home."
It was another day at Traverse Town, as boring as usual. A black haired male stood inside a food shop, doing his usual shopping while listening to his MP3 Player. The song: Bring Me To Life by Evanescence. Shun didn´t have an idea of who or what was Evanescence, but he loved the song.
"Wake me up (Wake me up inside) I can't wake up (Wake me up inside) Save me (Call my name and save me from the dark)"
As the next part of the song was heard, the summoner was finishing grabbing all of his stuff. "Bread... Check. Milk... Check. Apple Juice... Check. Beans... Check." Indeed, nothing new was happening, and he thanked it was like that. Last time, some crazy chilly witch of darkness had appeared out of nowhere and sent a monkey boy into a dark portal. Shun hoped their paths would never cross again... but not meeting her again at least once was not very likely. And destiny had chosen this day for that meeting.
"Wake me up (Bid my blood to run) I can't wake up (Before I come undone) Save me (Save me from the nothing I've become)
Now that I know what I'm without You can't just leave me Breathe into me and make me real Bring me to life"
As Shun exited the store, his eye caught to females. One was a girl about his age, redheaded. The other one was a tall woman, whose skin was pale but perfect. His eyes widened as he noticed the presence of Jadis, the White Witch. "Oh no."

Jadis sat down next to her and pulled out a white hankerchief with blue embrodiment of snowflakes. Lifting the child's chin, she dabbed the tears away before placing the smooth cloth in the youth's hands. It was quite depressing to see one like this; Jadis haven't seen tears in a long time.
"Now now dear, crying doesn't get one nowhere. Some say its a cleansing of the soul, but yours will still be in pain about the tradgec distance that seperates you from your home. You are now in one of the many worlds. This one is called Traverse Town, a world in endless night. I may have no idea where you from, but it seems like you are quite far."
Pulling off her furry warm shawl, Jadis wrapped it around the redhead's shoulders to keep her warm. Traverse Town can get quite cool during it's coldless night. With the addition of Jadis, the temperature can drop.
"As you being a new person to this world, I must warn you that it can be quite dangerous here. For the best, I will be your escort until you can find a way to get home. Now tell me. What exactly happened for you to get here? Almost everyone you see around you have a similar story to yours, being stripped away from home and land somewhere completely foriegn. For myself, I was trapped in a deep slumber only to awaken here, so don't feel embarrassed or deeply saddened for you are not alone."
"Thank you." Ariel said with a small smile as the woman gave her a handkerchief.

"I'm in..another world?" Ariel's blue eyes widened. Wasn't this what she wanted, since she was a little girl? To see other worlds? She had been so envious of Sora, and had even gone so far as to steal her father's trident so that she could see these different worlds. She should be happy..but she wasn't. She missed Eric, and her Daddy, and Flounder. The other woman's words snapped her out of her thoughts. "I'm from At-Italy. I'm from Italy." She had only been married to Eric for a few months, so sometimes she had slip ups such as this. She missed her home of Atlantica, but she loved Eric, and everything she had gone through to be with him was worth it. She knew she had given up a lot, but she was willing to do anything to be with Eric. "Thanks." She smiled gratefully as the older woman gave offered her her shawl. "My name is Ariel by the way."

Ariel bit her lip in thought. "I was at home in my husband's study. I fell asleep while I was reading a book and I just woke up here."
( OOC: Just as a side note, in the movie Eric's kingdom does seem to have a Mediterranean feel to it, and I'm positive that the filmmakers themselves said that they were influenced by Mediterranean architecture when they designed Eric's kingdom ^^ )
The summoner stopped dead, looking at both women for a second or two. He sighed, not knowing if he should go and greet them or just head home and forget that he saw them. "No, that wouldn´t be very polite. Heh, maybe I shouldn´t go by first impressions..." Shun grabbed the bags full of groceries and looked for a small red dot on every one of them. As he touched them with his hand, the bags became much smaller, making them able to fit on his pockets.
Then he headed toward both women, deciding to start a conversation with both of them. "Greetings Jadis." he said, looking at the White Witch. He then turned to the girl. She was about age, blue eyed, red headed. She looked troubled, so Shun decided to ask her about it. "Are you ok? The name´s Shun." he told her before extending a hand to her to shake.
((Shortness, :S. Well, Atlantica is a different world than Earth, but we only know that it is divided in two parts, sea and land.))

Looking up Jadis was suprised to see Shun before her. She had concluded that he would be weary of her and would try to not cross paths with her again. He also took notice of the newcomer's distress. The White Witch took it upon herself to summarize for Ariel won't have to go through the emotions again when she's already emotionally distraught.
"This is Ariel; she has been mysteriously stripped from her world in her sleep after reading a book and found herself here. I must say I find that quite...strange. It seems your scenario is heavily differently from others unless more occurred, while you were asleep."
She had heard the stories of others at how the heartless were over-populating, which generally led to distruction of the heavy disbalance as the raped the world of its supplements leaving hardly anything for anyone else. As a reaction, the world would decay and those who survived landed on different worlds. Jadis didn't want to share that Ariel just yet. She would probably break down at the thought of her world being a wasteland after being fed on by heartless.
Ariel glanced upward to see a young man about her age with dark hair. She gave him a small smile and shook his hand. She was grateful that Jadis explained to him what had happened and how she had gotten there, since telling the strange tale would only make her worry about Eric more. Where is he? She wanted to look for him no matter how dangerous this world was, but Jadis probably wouldn't let her out of her sight. She reminded her of Carlotta, the head maid of Eric's household. Kind yes, but insanely fussy and overprotective. Just like Daddy. She thought to herself.
"It seems your scenario is heavily differently from others unless more occurred, while you were asleep."
Ariel redirected her attention at Jadis at these words. "What do you mean more occured?" She asked.
( OOC: Yes, I know. But so is Land of the Dragons, and it is widely known and mentioned that it takes place in China ^^. Besides, I'd rather give Eric's kingdom a name, since it is a completely different place than Atlantica, which is what Triton's kingdom is called, yet in the Kingdom Hearts universe, the same world. )
Hidden deep in the shadows of Traverse Town a yong boy at the age of 19, stood quietly and silently as he watched the group of people talking. It seemed that the girl named Ariel had lost her way home, and that she somehow arrived here this intrigued Avalon and thought that it would be interesting to walk out of the darkness and greet them. But would they appreciate his company?, when his aura was shrouded in darkness?, he didn't feel that it was wise of him to enter civilisation at this time. Not because he was shy no, he in fact was very cocky when meeting new people which can often cause a fight between them. At the moment though he wasn' in the mood to fight but what if his Legendary Katana, The Dark Edge took control of him again? it was truely a dark blade and would surely corrupt it's wielder's heart.
Avalon looked at his Katana in his hand he held it tightly though he did his best to hide it, and smiled to himself. Why was he worrying about other people's opinions on him?, despite the darkness of the blade which sometimes took control of his mind, he knew that he would be safe with it's power if anyone decided to attack him when he engaged conversation. After a few more seconds of thought, he stepped out of the shadows and approached Ariel and the people around her, and said in a casual tone of voice "Well, It seems that we have a lost traveler...what brings you here on this wonderful evening?" A cocky smile appeared on his face as he waited for a response and he was prepared for an attack if it ever came his way.
Shun returned her the smile as the girl shaked his hand. Even though it just had been for a moment, the summoner was glad that she had smiled. Being positive was a very good thing at those times of danger and sorrow! He sat down beside Ariel while the sorceress explained her situation.
"This is Ariel; she has been mysteriously stripped from her world in her sleep after reading a book and found herself here. I must say I find that quite...strange. It seems your scenario is heavily differently from others unless more occurred, while you were asleep."
Indeed, her story was uncommon, the first of its kind that Shun had heard. Maybe the Heartless "ate" the heart of her world while she was asleep? It was a possibility, a rather unpleasant one. "She means that maybe when you were asleep, the Heartless located the heart of your world. Maybe that´s why you don´t remember anything about it." The destruction of his world... it has been painful. Remembering those memories made his soul suffer, a never ending torment.
And then he heard a voice. "Well, It seems that we have a lost traveler...what brings you here on this wonderful evening?" Shun turned his head to see a tall man. He was thin and skinny; scarlet eyes showed sarcasm on the word "wonderful". His hair was black, similar to Shun´s, but it had shades of red. The summoner understood that Ariel maybe was still in shock, making her unable to retell her story, so he proceeded to speak instead. "Evening, this is Ariel. She fell asleep while reading and found herself here when she woke up, away from her home." The teenager noticed that their surroundings were turning darker before continuing. "And this is Jadis." he said, looking at the White Witch. "And I am Shun, nice to meet you!" The boy finished, extending a hand for the newcomer.

Jadis gaze a glare to Shun. Obviously she didn't want to mention the heartless just yet. It would be too much to take. First the girl was stripped from her world. Secondly, she's in an unknown dangerous world. Thirdly, when one was trying to comfort her another throws the worse possible scenario. The last thing the girl needed on her mind was the possible destruction of the world she lived on and everyone in it.
"No Shun that is not what I meant." Her voice was soft, but her eyes were hard telepathically speaking, I can speak for myself, and I advise you to not mention that ever again.
Her head turned towards the new addition. He reeked of darkness and her head inclined with curiosity. Shun introduced them all to the complete stranger. Her nose twitched.
"Well, It seems that we have a lost traveler...what brings you here on this wonderful evening?"
Ariel looked up quickly to see a young man about Eric's age standing in front of her. He had a cocky smile on his face, much like the look Thor used to give her when she lived in Atlantica. Nevertheless, she decided to be polite. "I just..ended up here."
"She means that maybe when you were asleep, the Heartless located the heart of your world. Maybe that´s why you don´t remember anything about it."
Ariel's blue eyes widened. "No..but I thought..the keyhole..two years ago..how?" She stuttered, her eyes glistening. How could they have found it so easily? It was in her grotto, no one should have..oh. She lived on land now. Now this was all her fault. She stared at the cobblestone path leading to the stairs she was sitting on.
"No Shun that is not what I meant."
Ariel glanced at Jadis. "You mean..Atlantica wasn't necessarily destroyed?"

"That's a strong possibility. Let's not worry about that now shall we. Come with me child. You shall be properly housed and fed; it's already chilly here, and you don't need to get sick, especially if you want to go back to your world soon."
Jadis rose from where she sat and nodded at Shun and Avalon. "Excuse us, I feel that there's an need to retire for the night."
As the White Witch glared at him, the summoner realized that he had indeed made a mistake... again. Mentioning the possibility of the destruction of Ariel's unnamed world was indeed a bit harsh. Yes, Traverse Town could be a strange and unknown world for the girl, but if she was informed correctly and smart she wouldn't run into the Second or Third Districts without some kind of protection. A sigh escaped the boy's lips before he heard the woman speak to him again.
"No Shun that is not what I meant."
Of course, Jadis was trying to avoid giving Ariel more pain. The girl indeed seemed worried thanks to his brilliant statement. But then she talked about a keyhole. So, they were real indeed. Shun half-glanced at the sorceress for a moment before replying. "I am so sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned that. And as Jadis says, there are other possibilities than that... unfortunate scenario." The summoner gazed at the door of the Second District. The keyhole was indeed real, and he was determined to find it one of those days.
However, his thinking was interrupted when Jadis spoke again. "Excuse us, I feel that there's an need to retire for the night." Shun hadn't really noticed that it was indeed a bit cold until that moment. He too should call it a day. "Indeed Jadis, I know some places were she can stay." His voice was not as serious as before. It was more polite. The summoner then turned to Ariel before continuing. "I really don't think you will be comfortable at my place, but there are a few cheap but good hotels here at the First District, such as the Lava Tower or the Deep Blues. I wish you good luck, and farewell." This had been his chance to move from the red headed's bad side to the good one. He just hoped that he had done it just right.
