In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Caribbean had fallen before the united might of the Dark XII. Their royal navies, their pirates, even the assistance of the Guardians of the Worlds could not keep the Dark XII from laying siege and claim over the poor darkened world. A taste of things to come, most assuredly.
He awaited the return of his Dark XII, musing for a moment about changing the name in order to make the most of their swelled ranks, had the notion not been so utterly minute and meaningless before their tasks soon to be undertaken. Worlds to be conquered, Hearts to darken. A Realm to rule. And that blasted King and the scattered Keyblade Wielders. Those would have to be soon countered as well. Perhaps after the new strongholds had been erected and flags raised.
The Neo-Shadows shambled backwards away from his dark presence as he marched back towards his throne at the end of the table. Ienzo currently held the Heart. Lumaria's operation to try and claim the Heart of Atlantis was still underway. His numbers now outmatched the Organizations XIII's. As he sat and folded his hands before him, he briefly considered today to be a good day, if not for the fact that his plans were only just beginning to take shape.
And that he knew better. Shadows already began to flutter around him, communicating to him news of recently transpired actions.

A dark corridor opened up in the corner of the room as the Red Flare walked on through it waving at the Seeker of Darkness. "Hey there boss, sorry I haven't home, I kinda found a nice place to relax at." The Heartless was telling the truth, he had found a nice little hovel called Traverse Town. Though, there was more than just a place for him to hang around there. There was actually someone he meet there that changed him, and he felt like Ansem might like her if she agreed to help them. Which would be a big bonus for the young looking Heartless.
"And...I brought a friend along that wants to help us. If that's alright with you." he said as he turned to the portal. "Okay Xaoc, you can come on out. Come and meet my boss." said the Heartless to the portal with a smile. Waiting for his new friend to come on out from the inside, if things went well, he would be more happier working with her.
Xaoc stepped out. Well, she thought she stepped out. it was marginally brighter in the room, so, she must have exitted the portal. She stood by Lea, smiling easily at the Boss. She was picking up a hint of his power, and he felt strong, though she couldn't tell just how strong, because her Chaos seemed to be blocking the signal. That put him at the level known only as Holy-fucking-shit!
She stood for a moment, thinking about the best way to greet the Boss. She bowed her head low, respectfully. "Hello sir. My name is Xaoc." Then she straightened, and replaced her smile with a serious look. "I hear you guys are fighting the light. Well, I rather enjoyed doing that on my own world, before the Heartless took it. Thanks for that, by the way, I despised that place."

Seed was already leaning back in Elaues' old chair by the time Ansem had sent word to the rest of the XII. It was really on cue that the emerald Heartless appeared from thin air, to not even dare be a fraction of a second late and envoke the wrath of the Seeker of Darkness. Seed began to whistle a tune while he waited for the rest of his kin to show their faces. When one of them did Seed immediately knew there was someone else there; a human. He kept the tune flowing from his lips at the same pace.
The portal opened and he saw Lea casually stroll out with a grin on his face waving at Ansem. Though Lea said...something, Seed was more curious to see who he brought with him. Master Ansem doesn't take too kindly to humans in his Castle and even if they were brought here, they don't last long. Which was the number one reason he didn't want to bring Leiz here; Seed didn't even want Leiz to ever know what he really did and the people he worked with. The less Leiz knew, the better.
Seeing the woman walk out of the portal made the emerald Heartless want to laugh, who knew Lea was into cougars. The incline on his chair increased; the chair almost being vertical to the ground with Seed sitting on the edge, his tune still filling the room as he disregarded the woman and even Lea.

"Evening, gents--Oh, and lady!" The Demented Shot addressed Lea, Seed, and the lady with a playful, nearly mocking tone as he stepped out of the Corridor of Darkness. His yellow eyes glinted with a bit of inner kindness towards Lea, but he wasn't sure who his lady friend was. Did he run off and get married while he was absent? Was this his girlfriend? As if! In their sorry state, who could really keep a girl so close to them? Braig would often pick up a woman or three, and after a few kisses would he tell them of his true intentions. The rest was just a large game of cat and mouse to him. If they could get away, Braig wouldn't continue chasing them.
But that was what he did. What Lea was doing was obviously different because he was capable of keeping a woman. Was this all just a ruse? Or did he genuinely care for her? Oh, but at the same time, she was just a human... Though a different one, she was still mortal.
Where did Lea think he was going with this?
The Demented Shot took his seat at the table. Most of the time he would slump in a chair, put his feet up, or sit with hishead resting on one arm and his legs dangling off the other, but he assumed a polite aura about him and simply just crossed his legs underneath the table. He allowed his gloved hands to rest on the table.
"Good evening, Master Ansem. I apologize for my lack of help in the taking of Port Royal. Only until just recently have I been active again." In his embarrassment, the Heartless tried avoiding looking his boss directly in the eyes. However, in an attempt to make up for that, he looked him in the face. Maybe he's in a good mood. I mean, one more world is the equivalent of one step closer to acheiving our goal...
Hmm. What a pleasure... to be working with good friends.
A smirk twisted his lips.
All of this time, the Corridor had been left open for a friend of the Heartless... Alias.

Alias smiled as he walked in, emerging through the darkness, some of it clinging to his sleeve. He looked about as he wiped the darkness from his sleeve, he didn't see any familiar faces, other than the one he had come with, and Ansem. He saw all of these other people. He felt their darkness, he didn't mind though, they all seemed like nice people though.
Alias glanced at Ansem and smiled, he gave Ansem a nod of greeting. "Hello Ansem, how have you been?" He asked with a smile, then looked at the people, then at Braig "So these are the people you work with?" He said softly.

Arlene's face was hardly blank; actually it held a distastful shade of annoyance. Seriously who brought all of this fresh meat to be deemed as the same level as them. It's as if these no good co-workers just take in any road-kill; it didn't sit well with her with having to many people in-volved. Pawns are so much easier since there's truly no strings attached; you can cut them loose and watch them drowned, but no these damn imps are becoming to comfortable and damned personal.
Her nose wrinkled spotting Lea's smile, I fucking work with pansies pathetic ameaturs.
She lifted up her booted feet to prop on the table as her arms crossed over her chest; she adorned herself in darkness coveting herself away from these shams of darkness. The Sadistic Fey would love to take them out later personally. First there was some wild haired bitch without a fashion sense; she folded her hands deeper in her long bell-shapped sleeves as her clawed fingers twitched and spasmed with the carnal desire to rip that smile off her face and feed it to blood hounds. Arlene held back a snort, while tuning out her voice.
What the fuck she thinks this is a kit cat club or a damned YMCA.
Perhaps what was irking her were these smiling bimbos, which seemed to lessened the group's ferocity. All she wanted now was to get this over with, get her mission, and get the hell out. Hopefully Ansem won't torture her with pairing her with unwanted company; she wouldn't make any promises to not kill them if she was stuck with a pest.
While the members mocked and mewled, another Corridor opened at the end of the room. Darkness ran across the floor like oil as Ienzo made his way towards Ansem, the Heart glowing eerily in his right arm, like a gemstone underneath his skin. His silver eyes looked over all around him. Arlene... Not a happy camper. Braig... The Heartless often played more than anything, but his passive-aggressive gaze still pissed Ienzo of. Lea... Actually, Ienzo had nothing to mention here. He hadn't talked to the Heartless enough to form a legitimate opinion.
And them Ansem. Oh, Ansem, their great Superior. Would he take this Heart for himself or share the spoils with the underlings? Ienzo often wondered what plans Ansem was working on, hidden inside of his dark Heart. His arm rose, and in front Ansem's portal, a crystalline Heart unfurled from his palm, inviting warmth among the cold of the Heartless.
Ienzo's eyes narrowed, smelling the generous scent it held, and he watched for any sudden movements from his comrades. In truth, he distrusted them. Obsessed with hunger and power, his Heartless allies tended to do whatever they could to fulfill their desires.
And he'd be damned before they took a chunk out of this piece.
Lumaria slowed walked through his dark portal, still in the appearance of Jacob Houn from the Atlantis expedition. He had heard the rumors, obviously, but the sight of the heart from his homeworld as he emerged in the XII's chambers brought a smile of grim satisfaction to his face. That evil, twisted, corrupted world deserved to fall to the darkness above all others. Though he no longer felt the emotion of hate for the place, he still would have acted as if he did, for his thoughts stil lwent along the path of hate for his homeworld.
"Lord Ansem," Lumaria said with a deep bow at the waist,"I have followed your summons and come. I would also like to give a report on my progress with Atlantis, if you have the time."
As Lumaria "spoke" his lips unmoving and the sound seemingly coming from every direction at once, he took in the rest of his surroundings. As he did, he took notice of the two humans that Braig and Lea had brought here. He scowled over at them both disapprovingly. Humans were not to be brought here unannounced and without permission from Lord Ansem himself. The two of them were in violation of direct orders from the superior himself. However. Since Ansem had not yet moved to smite the two inpudent heartless, Lumaria would stay his own hand.
As this happened, another dark portal formed off to the side, in the back, and out walked Ciraph, Black Dragon of the Dark XII, though he was not an original member. He had been summoned by the Superior, and had responded to the summons....
Even, like the rest of the members of the Dark XII, stepped out of a portal, standing directly behind his chair. As he entered the room, he could smell the humans. Immediately a flare of desire to consume their hearts arose, but was quickly stifled. Of course...they may be allowed to kill these humans if the Superior decided that they weren't supposed to be here...which happened from time to time. As he looked around, he took a quick count of who was here already.
Lea, and his...human. Seed, Braig and his human...Why are there so many damned humans? This used to be a prestigious group, filled with only the most powerful Heartless around. And now we're resorting to using Humans? Ugh, how I loathe some of my colleagues sometimes.
[/color] Even thought as he scooted his chair down and sat in it.
Along with those Heartless already listed, Even quickly scanned the room, hoping to see some people he didn't mind being around. He didn't particularly mind Ienzo, nor Arlene. Lumaria was...odd...with his ability to speak without speaking; but other than that, there was no reason for Even to particularly dislike him. All in all...Even was still hoping for some of the other members to walk in. Even quickly looked to Ansem and nodded, acknowledging him, as was what one needed to do in order to not quickly become a shadow. Other than that, Even just sat, and waited for this god-awful meeting to finish so he could continue on all of the wonderful experiments he had down in his laboratory.[/blockquote]
The Shadows leaned and wilted back and forth beside the Seeker of Darkness' throne, and though he had one in each of his ear, Ansem was no fool to the thick sense of disdain flooding the room. Nearly every member of the original Dark XII in attendance had gotten what could only be described as "target-lock" on the humans as soon as they appeared. For a long moment, the folded hands in front of his face supported an irritated, disregarding look, which would have lasted if not for his drive to see his Dark XII flourish.
"The humans are here by my extended invitation, my Heartless comrades. They have allied with us for reasons of their own choosing and in doing so bolstered our ranks, strengthened our defenses and in time will grant us access to places and locations otherwise inaccessible to us. Worry not, all is going according to how I have planned it."
He gave one last look to the Shadows on the ground at his feet, then waved them off. They backed into the darkness and he made mental note to relay their findings in time. But until then, the Seeked stood from his seat, arms held wide and presenting to the table, "But for now? We celebrate in our victory. In our united strength and in our conquest of that diseased World of Port Royal! It's malicious pirates, it's corrupt officiates, the death and sickness, all one and equal within the Darkness now under our sway. And all before showing those Guardians of the Worlds exactly what happens should they mess with one of us: they hazard us all!"
He took a step rightwards, beginning a slow march along the length of the grand meeting table where his allies sat. A hand lifted in Ienzo's direction, "Behold, the spoils of our victory, the Heart of a World, the power of the Caribbean, now one with our grand designs..."
His lifted hand turned over, now palm down, as his Soul-Eater polearm appeared in his grasp. With a sudden stabbing motion, he pierced it, a ripple of dark energy flowing down his weapon before setting into the Heart. It pulsed for a moment before raising into the air, shimmering, and exploding into large pieces, which lifted upwards, before settling above the table against gravity, and floating softly downwards before each individual in the room.
He spun his hand again, the polearm vanishing in a shimmer of black, catching the largest piece of the shattered Heart, though it would not be for himself. "...And now the rewards of our labor, for those who wish to partake. Gain power and find strength, my XII. This is only the beginning of our conquests."
The air broke apart upon the arrival of the Dark Guardian, who took his place behind Ansem. The Seeker held the piece of the Heart over his shoulder and the Guardian snatched it up, but not before Ansem shot it a look of cautionary anger, "You know what is to be done with it..."
The Guardian nodded, taking the Heart and holding it close, before vanishing again.

Arlene didn't hesitate to take it, but her eyes narrowed under her hood at the newcomers, who bared no labour in the fruit the DARK XII have fulfilled in taking. Already they get to reap of the benefits; the fey was already turning green with disgust as she tucked away her piece within her dark attire with a bitter thought, they better have a high value...
Her sharp eyes glanced at Ansem remembering what he had mentioned earlier. So this is all according to plan...access to places and locations...
Her mind easily filled in the blanks, but her mouth still had a nasty taste in it. She'll accept his words in the meantime; it doesn't mean she would jump up into liking the mortals; she would just tolerate them...lightly. In the meantime, she held onto her portion of the heart and began to focus on something else other than those mortals. Watching them take of the heart will only iritate her to murderous ends, which can easily open to mutiny. Surely they weren't worth the mutinous charge, but they surely weren't work indulging in affairs they didn't take part of.
It's all according to plan he says.. whether she was fooling, convincing, or holding herself back was unknown, but there was one thing; she wanted this blasted meeting over with before she throws a chair.
"So what's next, sire?" She held her tongue from being informal with terms like "Big Daddy A" and such; her perfered to not give the mortals any idea.

Alias glanced at the small piece of the heart which floated in his direction. Why would Ansem shatter the heart his pupil had acquired for him? Weren't hearts more powerful as a whole? But, then again, he still wasn't sure what exactly this ' Kingdom Hearts', that Ansem was trying to make was, so he didn't bother to question, and as he held the small shimmering silver piece in his hand, he realized, he didn't know what to do with it... But, he felt that he should save it, keep it in a safe place in case the piece was to be used for something.
He held it close, and his amulet glowed softly, not enough to be noticeable to anyone but himself, a strange lavender aura surrounded the sliver bit, and pulled it into his amulet. He looked with slight surprise. What had just happened? He held his amulet looking into the violet stone on it, gently tapping it, even shaking it a bit to see if the piece might fall out, but it didn't, no much of a surprise there. But, some how he felt, that the small piece of the heart was safe inside his amulet, he felt it there.
"Knowledge is Power, Power is Knowledge. Power and Knowledge are held in your Heart..." A small voice echoed in Alias' mind. What did that mean? It certainly wasn't a memory of his, maybe it was a voice from the stars?

The heart of the Caribbean, eh? Far too bad I wasn't able to be there... I have a great pirate impersonation...~
As the piece of heart floated down toward him, Braig watched it with hungry yellow eyes... It flitted and turned about, like a snowflake caught in the wind, until landed into the Heartless' open palm. Grinning toothily, he played with it subconsciously, spinning it about with one hand as the other rested near the edge of the table. Those yellow eyes peered about the room again. There were some empty chairs, that woman he saw earlier, and the other Heartless in attendance, as well as... a dragon.
Riiiiiight... I know him... I think... After staring at the beast blankly, Braig began to come up with various names, trying to remember if someone had talked about him before... But he couldn't recall, no matter how hard he tried. Until the Heartless could remember, the dragon was going to go by some horrible pet name of his creation.
Turning his attention back to the Heartless, Braig made a note of each one's facial expression... The vast majority had looked a bit irritated during one point of the meeting or other. He noted that Arlene was perpetually annoyed. Perhaps one day he'd play a prank on her just to fire her up. Fighting the woman would be quite the enjoyable challenge. He had no idea if she'd kill him or not, but he wasn't the kind to die quite so easily, in all honesty...
The yellow eyes found Ansem, Seeker of Darkness' face once more, still avoiding his eyes directly. Braig felt as though he didn't deserve this piece, having not been there. He expressed his gratitude of not being dealt with severely on the spot with a simple, "Thanks."
"So what's next, sire?" Arlene piped up from her seat. The Demented Shot grinned from his seat. Heh, sire. As if! Wait until he hears you call him 'Big Daddy A' or whatever it was. THAT would be hilarious to see, girly. Either way, the Heartless was curious to know what Ansem wanted next.
"I second that. What are your plans, Master Ansem?" This time, the Heartless dared enough to look his superior directly in the eye. Hoping that Ansem wouldn't mind his absence and he had been worrying for nothing, Braig followed that direct look with a playful grin.
