In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Port Royal.
Full moon. Windless and cloudless skies. The waters of the Caribbean Sea surrounding the isles near Port Royal were still, black glass reflecting the pale yellow moonlight up above. The waves lapped softly along the shores. It was a calm night. Free of pirates and other such monstrosities from the seas. The Royal Navy's ships patrolled about the waters a quarter-mile out while lances of troops marched in pairs, keeping surveillance of the lands they protected.
Never before, not by assault of pirate nor sea beast, had it known a night like tonight.
Upon the sands of the Harbor, the winds contorted and darkened, swirling wildly before spilling open and creating the exit to a Dark Corridor. The sheer Darkness of the World it originated from so thick, it spilled out on the sands like a corrosive poisonous gas.
And from it, emerged the Seeker of Darkness himself: Ansem, leader of the Dark XII. Dark Guardian at the ready behind him, he stepped clear of the opening back to The World That Never Was, and uttered three simple words.

Pulling her hood over her head to cast a shadow over her face, Arlene darted out of the black abyss carrying darkness with her like flowing ink in water that refuses to dissolve. Eletric blue eyes smiled wickedly with excitement as her crooked smile stretched along her face. Halting for a moment, she clasped her hand together; dragging them apart, she built up a large spherical bundle of thunder. "Let's shake things."
It would take more than thunder to cause a storm, but it will be the first black spec to spread across the sky like a dark omen. With a thrust, the sphere curved into the clouds making them part before it combusted. The lightening ignite the clouds causing them to darken as thunder boomed afterwards. In the distant ocean, ships bobbed with the ebb and flow from the ocean only to sway at the upcoming winds. The men of the seas knew a good breeze from the bad. They probably suspected with was Calypso being the picky untainted sea she was...versus an invasion of Heartless ready to rip their world at the seams to just devour the prized inwards.
A small nostril twitched to detect the closest bundle of hearts. Where was the strongest of them all hiding? "Come out come out wherever you aaaare?"
That was Lea's cue. Behind Ansem and his guardian of pure darkness, a dark portal appeared. Lea, the Dark XII's 8th, walked out of it, and breathed in the air, than released a large pleasant sigh. He was wearing what any Dark XII or Organization XIII member would have thought to be ridiculous.
He had nothing covering his chest or stomach, and had a pair of swimming trunks. They had red, yellow, and black colors all in and around the flames. Under his right armpit, he had a giant rainbow beach ball, and Lea was ready to have fun with on this world. He ran past Lord Ansem and into the sandy part of the port. When he was close enough, he jumped into the sea, hugging his beach ball, and making a large splash.
He shook the water out of his still spikey hair, and looked out deeper at the sea.
He said jokingly, "Hey, where is everybody? The water's fine!"
"Come out come out wherever you aaaare?"
Lea laughed. Arlene, the 'meaning' of what a Heartless should be: Cold and selfish. But lucky for him, he was humanoid, and could act how he wished with his own free will. But she sure did confuse him, why would she act like such a witch if she could be anything else? He shuddered at the thought of meeting her in his life as a Somebody.
Lea grabbed a corner of the dry land, and flipped to the concrete. He walked over to Arlene's side.
He spoke humorishly again, "Favorite part of your job as a Heartless huh?"

"It is night, and we do have a job to do; lucky for us, it isn't a boring one," Arlene replied before flipping a bang out of her face. She looked up and down Lea seeing that he wasn't dressed for today's activity. A finger poked his chest, which doesn't seem to be extraordinarily defined,"Sooo you may want to change cloothes and get in where you fit in."
"Soooo Lea, let's play a game. Let's see how if you can keep up," she opened a dark portal behind him and moved to shove him inside. If he falls in, it will re-open in the ocean, while she bolted away to be the first to tag the Red Coat. A dark mist wavered at her knuckles as claws extruded from all ten fingers. They gleamed in the yellow moonlight as a yellow spark danced through them.
On her toes, she as silent as a mouse until she sank her blades into her prey with a jab in the back. The Heartless dropped down and sliced at the pair in the back legs causing them to fall. Seeing how they lacked her grace and drive for silence, they cried out in pain. The others turned sharply only seeing a blur of blonde hair that disappeared in the dark night.
The Dark Corridor remained where it stood. The darkness radiating off it was already snaking into the nearby shadows. Out of this portal the Dark XII's No. VII emerged. A figure of flowing ebbs of darkness that sunk off the Heartless' revealing the true form. No. VII was dressed in his normal attire. The only thing out of place with his entrance was the sun-umbrella leaning on his shoulder.
Lea was talking all this take in the sun and oh volleyball games which was bothering Isa and the only reason agreed to carry such a silly item to such an event. He dropped it as soon as he saw the action already happening. Isa was ready to take a world and its inhabitants by force. He liked the satisfaction of taking another heart from some unsuspecting bystander.
The full moon shone off Isa's electric blue hair, the rays seeping into his body. The moon was giving him a slight boost in his powers. He was at an advantage being on a world that was cowering under a Full Moon. The Moonlit Stalker took in a deep breath of the crisp ocean air and released it, the saltiness leaving just a teasing taste on your lips. "Well, let's get to it."
With those words Isa summoned his pair of katanas that flowed with pure darkness, one in his left and the other his right. He lowered both to his sides and stared at the moon.
With a swift swipe of his left arm the rays from the moon began to bend and wrap around Isa, leaving him physically invisible.
He observed as Arlene sent the unsuspecting soldiers into a frenzy. Turns out this sadistic companion's pre-strike would make Isa's attack more hellish and nightmareish for the Red Coats.
No. VII walked right infront of the crowd of soldiers trying to reoorganize themselves and prepare for the definant next attack. Calmly, Isa approached the closest soldier and stared him in the eyes. The soldier had no idea he was looking at Death himself as the katana exited his backside spilling with shadows. With a sob and a choke the man dropped dead.
Ciraph brought his large bulk through the dark portal Lord Ansem had opened to The Caribbean. The dragon had never been there before, but he could already smell the taint of the darkness in this place. It needed a mere push over the edge and it would fall...
With a careful eye, he appraised his surroundings. Out on the water was a bunch of war ships, out on patrol, foot soldiers doing the same in the city. The Black Dragon's maw split wide, showing his pearl white teeth as he picked his target and went airborne with a pump of his large wings. He flipped in mid-air and turned toward the ships in the bay. He passed low over one and spat searing flames out onto the deck, setting fire to many of the crew in the in the process. Screams rent the air as Ciraph let loose a furious roar to sew even more fear and confusion in the crewmembers.
On his second pass on the ship, Ciraph snatched one of the crewmembers up and tossed him overboard, into the water. He looked up as he soared back towards the land and saw the confusion being sewn among the soldiers there bty the others. This would certainly prove to be a rather entertaining venture. It would give them many more hearts, many more heartless to swell their ranks.

Next round ends on March 29th
Blue eyes narrowed from the darkness as her prey was being taken from her. She didnt' caught any glimpse of red or any hide of Lea's; instead the cool color of blue caught her attention. With three Red Coats, the remaining seven prepared to retailate in a rows of twos, three in the back, and four in the front. The rear already had their guns sets filled with gun powder. As they shot, a white dust rippled and curled away, while the front prepared for their shot.
Their primitive weaponry was laughable; they had a drawback with the reloading as it took too much time. The Heartless grinned at her window of oppurtunity. Not being one to share in this little competitive fun, the Fey darted out like a Faerie. The Fey's Flight was smooth as Arlene jumped to and fro from portal to portal. Her swift movement spread the gun powder as she attacked at their sides stabbing them, ripping her knives away leaving a variety of wounds.
Through her fury, she looked up at Isa coyly. The game has begun, and thus far Lea was dead last, he had one, and Arlene was crawling up to five.
Dilan gave a gratuitous applause as he beheld the thundrous mayhem in the air. "Nice embellishment, Arlene!" He cheered. "But you know, this scene is missing something..." The Unfettered Tempest noted. "Oh yeah...You can't have a storm without a little wind!"
Spreading his arms, Dilan ascended into the air. His hair blew wildly as a furious bout of wind surrounded his person with a sharp, whistle-like howling. The Unfettered Tempest released the wind with a quick jerking motion of his right arm, creating a blustering gale. He mimicked the motion with his left, with the same effects.
"HAH! Now where's Myde? With a little water power, we'll have a REAL storm on our hands!" Dilan laughed. Looking down to the shore, he blinked. "Lea...What in Kingdom Hearts' name are you doing?" he asked. "It's the middle of the night! The water has to be freezing-Oh wait, your element is fire." He observed. "....Back to the mission!"
Spying the group of redcoats his comrades were terrorizing, the Unfettered Tempest nosedived for them. Flipping over just a moment before impact, he was able to land on his feet like a true show off.
"Evening, gents." He greeted with a bow. "Nice night, isn't it?"
As he spoke, shadows burst from his back, taking the form of his six chains. The two chains closest to his shoulders lungs forward, impaling a pair of redcoats, then lifted them high into the air. With a violent shake, they were flung into the sea.
"So, Arlene," he started, as if they were just having a casual lunch, "Did you notice the whole fifty mile per hour winds? That was my doing. Nice touch, don't you think? Oh, hey Isa."
(( Shunny told me to post for the Guardains, so here goes nothing!))
The Gummi Ship safely in orbit, Arthas tweaked a few buttons, then shone with the light of a teleporter. The next instant, he was standing on the roof of a building. he looked around for a second, then heard the sound of voices and a few screams.
What in the worlds is going on?
His sword appeared in his hand as he walked foreward, looking at the mayhem that was ensuing. A few people in dark coats...the darkness inside Arthas swirled as he sensed their power. As he watched, he saw something fly into the sky, something big. Then, without warning, a strong wind grew, and Arthas was forced to take shelter behind a wall.
As he watched, he waited for more of his allies to appear and help with the situation. With that much darkness, Arthas knew the world was doomed, but why not save a few people first?
((ENTER THE GUARDIANS!))

((Actually I had requested that the rest of the Dark XII had a chance to get settled into the thread (and in some cases, their characters) before the Guardians were to be brought in in order to have a bit of the characters interacting before adding more elements to the plot of the thread. But what can ya do?))
The Dark Seeker's grin grew wide as the destruction mounted, but his eyes thinned at Lea, giving him a cold death stare. This was no time for fooling around, despite how the pretense had been made out to be an entertaining jaunt. Some Hearts may be strong, but that didn't mean they made great Heartless...
The Dark Guardian growled behind him, flexing it's large muscular body as if being let out of its cage, the wrapping around it's body just another form of constraint. He was a formidable creature, Dark-willed and strong. At times Ansem could sense just how damnable the Guardian was, and took solace that it was long-since harnessed for his use.
With a nod of his head, he released the beast, "Yes, you as well. No mercy, no quarter asked nor given. This World belongs to Darkness, to end as it began, as it existed. Evil and con, piracy and murder, corruption and lust for power. Extinguish what light remains, my Guardian. Snuff it out."
With an anxious and hungry look to it's eyes, it vanished once again, headed for the settlement of Port Royal. Likely to rouse children and women from their slumber, had Ciraph's aerial strafes or Dilan's gale force winds failed to do so, feasting on their precious Hearts.
As if weightless, he hovered off the ground raising higher and higher, hands palm out as if assuming the pose of some form of preaching minister, "Take them all, my Heartless! Consume all this World offers, claim it's Heart in the name of the Dark XII so that ALL know what power we hold!"
Something Arlene would always do, Lea wasn't surprised. He could have easily turned, grabbed her wrist, and tossed her inside her own dark corridor, but he thought something more devious than her little game. He let her shove him in the portal, and in he fell in the ocean, not to far back to the land actually. Lea floated in the water, with his hands behind his head, while he had a blessful look on his face. When he opened one of his eyes to peaked at the fight away from him, he noticed his old friends Isa, killing a Red Coat.
Lea screamed loud enough for Isa to hear, "Yo Isa! You do know we have to steal their hearts, not kill 'em right?!"
Lea looked over at where Lord Ansem was at, and saw the giant dragon, Ciraph.
"Oh great, that kill-joy..." Lea whispered.
The dragon than started to fly in Lea's direction. He was quite shocked that he 'actually' heard him from so far away. But when he saw Ciraph fly past him to the ships floating farther in the sea, he relaxed again. Lea heard a voice as his eyes were still closed shut.
"Lea...What in Kingdom Hearts' name are you doing?"
He opened his eyes lazily, only to wake up to Dilan, flying in the air. Lea did nothing but smile and wave at him.
"It's the middle of the night! The water has to be freezing-Oh wait, your element is fire."
Dilan looked at the direction Arlene and Isa were fighting, and flew towards them. Lea shrugged and went back to his vacation.
"Take them all, my Heartless! Consume all this World offers, claim it's Heart in the name of the Dark XII so that ALL know what power we hold!"
Ienzo looked down upon the city from the ramparts, his form hidden partly in shadow. The guards before him rang the bell ferociously in an attempt to save all of the disquieted souls that lived on this world. It was utterly pointless. The steely-eyed Heartless donned a cloak of pure black, created from his own shadows, and walked through the Ramparts, Neo-Shadows writhing into life around his feet.
Their purpose wasn't to kill, nor steal human Hearts. Their purpose was to find the World's Heart. And Ienzo was going to. But~ Where would it be? The World's Heart was a place of interest, first and foremost. It was meant to be surrounded by a flurry of strong emotions, as seen in the past. It was believed that the Heart was within a chest of cursed pirate gold, but Ienzo scoffed at the idea. He felt he already knew where the Heart was:
The Black Pearl.
The man cloaked in shadow, walked through the streets of Port Royale, the slightly shorter, merciless black beasts feeding at their delight. Ienzo took nothing from them; it wasn't his purpose here. He merely blocked a few blades and felt a stray bullet impact on his cloak, which immediately absorbed the velocity and threw it around the Heartless.
His apathetic gaze was hidden under a black hood as he seemed to vanish from sight, leaving his Neo-Shadows to enjoy themselves.

(Round ends April 1st)
Hearing clapping, Arlene stood up after gathering three claimed hearts. A smirk twitched at the corner of her lips hearing her name, and she turned her head to see Dilan. Oh how ironic she had ran into his Nobody not too long ago. Eyes widdened in false wonder, since he proclaimed something was missing, "Oooh?"
She released the hearts before a dark bog claimed them; Arlene was going to stand around holding them or carry them within herself; she had a lot of business to tend to. The Sadistic Fey chuckled to herself feeling a breeze ruffle her hair; a brow arched as Myde was mentioned, "He's probably too busy being a primadona...as usual."
The Fey walked forward as she playfully raked her claws against Dilan's chest and gave Isa a side glance; personally he was working to slow to even be called entertainment. Her eyes then shifted to the ocean where the bodies was floating. "Mmm you know what would be absolutely...exquisite..."
Arlene bumped Dilan with her hips as she looked up to the clouds, "Ooo a hurricane would be lovely and devastating."
Looking back coyly she smiled, "I'm sure you can handle that hm? Also you can join our little game...'Who can collect the most hearts'...looser with be the suck ass mission lacky. It's only fitting if you're no good in this sport. Lea babe be useful and collect those hearts. Thus far you're dead last."
She enforced her order with a thundera to his bare chest. Her head snapped hearing the canons being fired from the navy ships. Surely that dragon is agile to deal with it," last one to town port is lower than those nobodies, and no portalling cheats."
The closer they got to port, the closer they'll be to the town. Now where was the Heart of Worlds... With a grin, Arlene sprinted away. The gunshots from earlier had already sent an alarm as the warning bell was rung. The thundering thumps of boots against the cobblestone made the Heartless anxious. "Time to have FUNN!"
An electrifying yellow flew effortlessly, and let all the falling hearts sing.
(Sorry for the delay of Isa and seeing as how he's moon attributed is it safe to assume he can control tides ? )
No. VII took note of the newcomers who enjoyed wreaking havoc on the unsuspecting. Ciraph, the giant monster of a dragon, whom Isa didn't have to much intel on. All he had a clue to was the amount of destruction such a beast could rain on a world just by the sense of darkness it emitted. Dilan, the Org's No. III. Isa enjoyed the companion's company, but only for so long. He had too much of a childish feel to him, enough to make Isa feel like he was babysitting.
Isa watched as Ciraph flew over the water to cause mayhem for the unfortunate crew members. He smirked at the mental image of the dragon raining hell upon the men. "There's no point in trying to defend yourselves." He spoke this as he released the rays of the moon that made him invisible to the naked eye, "You're only delaying the unstoppable.
"Yo Isa! You do know we have to steal their hearts, not kill 'em right?!"
The statement made Isa grip the bridge of his nose while closing his eyes, as if in a deep thought. Lea was such a hypocrite at times. Isa decided it was time for No. VIII to practice what he preached. Summoning a Corridor underneath his feet Isa sank into darkness as he exchanged a silent meeting with the Sadistic Fey. Just the sight of Arlene made Isa's skin crawl. She was beyond the term of "Heartless"
Reappearing under Lea in the water Isa snatched him through the portal. The Corridor opened in an alley of Port Royal. Ten yards ahead a patrol of Red Coats were hurrying to the site of all the action. Isa decided to take the lead and made the first move. "Now watch Lea, this is what it means to trully take a heart."
As quiet as a tree falling in the woods with noone around to hear it No. VII snuck up on the lone soldier who was having trouble getting his gun ready. Isa spoke to the man. As he spoke his tone changed and he was speaking to the darkness that rested in the soldier's heart. He planned on manipulating the darkness and using it against the citizen's of this World. "Why are you fighting us? Don't resist the temptations that pull at every inch of your being. It's all futile because no matter where you are the darkness will always find and feed off you. Now go, do what your heart trully desires."
The man's body tensed and a certain dark aura could be felt around his body as his heart's darkness began to take over. With that, the man broke from the group, shooting aimlessly into the grimy buildings that lined the alley. The man's group chased after him yelling and screaming trying to stop the madman.
"Now THAT'S what it means to take a heart you knucklehead." Isa knew Lea would know he wasn't really trying to criticize him but to be sure he laughed a small chuckle.
(Akira, if you don't like that little action I'll edit. Sorry if it's blah, bad days = bad muse :/ )
Ciraph landed on the deck of one of the ships he'd set aflame, turning his gaze to the other ships out on the dock. He didn't even feel the flames as they licked at his body, protected as he was by the hard scales that covered him. The ships in the bay still numbered nearly a dozen, with a few more coming in from patrols farther out in the ocean. The dragon grinned a toothy grin, letting out a small growl that was slightly reminiscent of a purr.
"Come to your slaughter, my lambs.....come eagerly....," Ciraph said as he took wing again. He heard the massive booms of cannon-fire right behind him, and so he did an aerial flip and headed straight towards the nearest ship firing on the coast. Apparently, they didn't care that they killed their own men at this point. They merely wished to stop the aggressors. It was too bad it was all in vain.
With another loud and vicious roar, Ciraph dove down onto the boat, spewing his special "dark" fire, an ability he'd gained once he'd become a Heartless. They were no less virulent than normal flames, except that they seemed to sew panic in the red coats more readily due to their near-pitch black color. Once the flames began to completely take over the ship, Ciraph took wing and, fanning his wings as he landed to feed the flames, landed on the ship, crushing two of it's members in the process, releasing the heartless inside of them.
The remaining members rallied, coming after Ciraph with sabers and various other hand weapons. The black dragon merely swept them off the deck of the ship with a swipe of his claws, letting out another ear shattering roar. Then, he reared back and rammed his forelegs through the ship, sending them completely through it. As water began to flood the lower decks, he withdrew them and took back to the air, swinging about to go after the next nearest ship. He had work to do, and he intended to get as many hearts out of it as possible.....
