In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Talk about it Somewhere Only We Know
The rain continued to pitter patter on the world rinsing away another day of labor. Majority of the townspeople retreated to their homes to remain dry, while the shops momentarily closed down excluding a few until the rain stopped.
Kairi took advantage of this moment and seized an umbrella at Merlin's House (which was probably Yuffie's seeing how brightly color yellow it was). She was able to slip away from a busy Cid before he can fuss about her whereabouts. She knew he wouldn't run for her; he was getting too old and irrate to keep up with roaming teenagers. Also the world was naturally safe with Tron on board, so worries for Kairi has been low.
The weather brought a familiar sense of the islands, home; she could feel the yearning already to return there once feeling the blanket of cool comfort brought by the cool breeze of the rain and tranquil patters on her umbrella and the cobblestone around her. Leaving Merlin's house, she splashed and stomped her feet in every puddle she crossed not squirming or frightful to be wet.
Previously while cooped up in the house, the teen had pondered about traveling to the Frosted Flame for some company, mainly Reno. The Flammin Red has been the greatest company she ever had here; he made her laugh and even was able to frustrate her, which altogether felt like living despite the gloom knowledlge of the Organization's revivial. But once stepping outside, she changed her mind; she rather not be the pesky youth who tugged at him every time she was bored. That was too much of the little sister and brat role than Kairi was willingly to play. Also the present rain filled that gap of boredom and loneliness. It brought back a painful nostalgia.
Getting sick of security blankets, Kairi folded the umbrella as she climbed up the stairs towards the bailey. Dropping it against the wall, she looked up towards the sky with shut eyes and breathe. Her now red hair was welcoming every drop of rain welcoming the chill that rain down her spine. The teen even kicked off her shoes and stuffed her rolled up socks inside of them as she leaned against the balcony outside the Bailey's entrance just gazing out the landscape before her.
"I wonder what they're doing right now."
Sora. Riku. Every passing day she always wondered about them. Since she had ceased her hiding, the black hair dye and trying to be hiddened with the name Shio, Kairi wanted to rejoin with them, or atleast get off this world and start searching for them. She was ready to leave this world, but not some of the people just yet...better yet person.
Her hand went in her pocket to retrieve her good luck charm; she wouldn't mind giving it to him to force him to see her again, but the teen had doubts that he would find much interest in it to follow through. Despite what he said, she bet he does only see her as a child.
Seeing where her thoughts were taking her, Kairi rolled her eyes and groaned. Even when she was FIRST thinking about her friends, he found away to squirm back into the picture. Her face dropped to a skeptical displeasure as she dropped her head allowing the rain to beat her, "...that's..sad. Where's Selphie when you need her?"
Her little sister had always been able to descramble her mind, and then her eyes stung with a tearful guilt. She probably won't be happy of her abrupt disappearance too. Sure from girl to girl, she talked to Selphie a lot even things she never uttered to Sora and Riku, and yet she left her hanging like a wind chime. Perhaps it would be wise to visit the Islands. That way she can see her home, friends, maybe still avoid family, and see if Riku and Sora are around. They were fellow keyblade wielders, and ever since 'meeting' with Namine, she knew she wouldn't be able to do anything alone running solo.
"Going back to the islands would be nice, maybe they'll all be there...like old times."
Tifa had always liked the rain - even more after the huge rain the cured people of that unsightly disease. Ever since then, she had always held on to the belief of rain that healed, physically and emotionally alike. Humming a soft tune, he wondered if Cloud was around - perhaps being harassed by the rain as well?
Aimless wandering was becoming the norm now. Most threats to Radiant Garden had been eradicated, Cloud was God knew where, and she, she merely went around, doing...stuff. Her frustration escalated for a moment, but calmed herself down with a powerful kick to a nearby wall. That was becoming a rather bad habit.
Plonk.
Rubbing her head, Tifa stared at the vivid sun-like umbrella on the ground. This either belonged to someone, or was left behind. Either way, it came from the Bailey.
The sound of her footsteps were insignificant compared to the roar of the rain, and her usually swishing mantle-like skort was drenched and stuck to her back. Umbrella in her hand, she slowly ascended the staircase, wary, until a small figure was visible.
A girl with vivid scarlet hair stood, eyes to the sky, obviously in deep thought. Tifa loosened her guard slightly - the girl certainly didn't appear hostile, she looked pure and innocent. Silently, Tifa stood the umbrella against the wall, nevertheless, she still had to be careful. Racking her brains and memories, she wondered if she had seen the girl before - surely she had, after walking around Radiant Garden for so long, she had seen and known quite a number of residents there. Curious, she stood there in silence, watching the enigmatic girl.

Oh simple thing where have you goneI'm getting old and I need something to rely on
Kairi chuckled to herself; that's was one of the last conversation she had with Riku, how consistent the islands were, but the teen began to ponder on would it even feel the same. The islands were constant, but the people on it were changing well people close to her to notice that the universe was more than a splotch of sand and ocean. Despite her first venture, that she recalled, she appeared back the islands, because that's the home in her heart, but would she even 'fit' the world she once called home?
Riku indirectly had asked permission to leave the world behind due to his growing hunger and craving for having a little taste, a sample of what the universe, the worlds, were truly like. Sora...well he seemed peachy keen with just about anything as long as there was fun and equal peace. She on the other hand...had left her world. Would everyone there...who made home home be the same when she gets back?
Would Sephie be the same, or would she be too upset with Kairi for 'neglect'? Would her, Tidus, and Wakka move on to their own agendas like she had with them when her memory of Sora slipped away like loose sand? Trapped in her own mind, Kairi found herself at a crossroad; she have desires to venture and explore carefree and careless, a curvy clear passageway; her responsibilities sent her on a rocky and troublesome path with dead end and unstable bridges, and the last was her simplistic lifestyle on the island, the path was straight and smooth. She was beginning to face another problem.
When did she became so frightful of not being able to go back to old simplicity? It wasn't like her to get so carried away emotionally and become so overwhelmed by her constant free flowing thoughts that jumped from one sensitive matter to another. Perhaps this was her homesickness getting the best of her; she needed to focus harder to push it aside to deal with later.
"Achoo," her sneeze wakened her up to shudder at her present chill. She was cold to the bone as her clothes clinged to her like a wet dripping layer of skin. Now I'm going to get myself sick.
Her nose sniffled for a moment as her body began to shiver. Getting unintentionally and self-consciously sick wasn't apart of the program; that would only push back her mission a few days. Calling it quits, Kairi turned on her toes only to halt a young woman...watching her. How long have she been watching her... If it wasn't for her 'warm' look, the stranger was on the 'less creeper' scale. Regardless of her being a stranger, Kairi had generally composed herself in a polite manner even if she did uttered a meek 'hi' with a casual wave, which quivered with a shiver.
"Oh my umbrella," her voice perked up as she went to retrieve, "sorry if this was lying about...then again it's a bit too late for it now."
Her voice dropped a bit on a slight embarrassed note to be caught in her vulnerable state...as well as possibly being seen as some crazy kid standing in the rain. Her blues eyes twitched closed feeling a sting from the water that dripped from her auburn hair. After whipping her eyes cleared, she was going to say something else before, "aaaachoo!"
(Gah I am shizzy mc shizzlepants for being so slow sorreh)
The girl sneezed, and Tifa chuckled to herself. Of course, whilst both females stood in the rain, they were bound to catch a cold sooner or later. The girl shook, and then started to tremble like a leaf. The cold rain barely affected the older woman - back on Gaia, several times had she been through rain, in fact, snow and ice - the frigid temperatures of the Icicle Inn.
The girl turned gracefully (Which was saying something, as she was very, very wet.) and froze when she saw Tifa. "Hi," Tifa nodded and smiled back. The girl reminded her of Denzel, somehow. Adorable. Strong. Except Denzel didn't walked around the rain, deep in thought. She was so awfully familiar looking, that Tifa nearly laughed - what if it was Marlene?
.......
Oh, no.
The girl sneezed the loudest yet, and the umbrella was open and over her head in a swift movement. "You shouldn't be standing in the rain, you know," Tifa said in, although obviously unnecessarily - and slightly hypocritically, since she herself was being battered by the drops of water. She wondered if the old duffer had anything for illnesses. "Are you alright? My name is Tifa."

(D: NUUU SHIZZIN IN THE PAANTS!!!)
"That stung abit," Kairi groaned feeling the sneeze leaving a stingy pain up the bridge of her nose, which she pinched until it dwindled away. Hearing a flap, she looked up to see a shield of yellow covering the top of her head. "Heh, thanks."
The older woman's tone brought nostalgia of a warmth of a teacher or a guardian of sort; with a little more edginess, she would sound like the Princess' mother. In a way, she was glad that she didn't her mom would've gave her an earfull with her long disappearance that would only make a mother panic. Where could Kairi possibly hide for days in a small world? The youth hardly doubted that Selphie can keep her cover for that long, and she was probably just as worried wondering where she was at. If it's raining out home...maybe she's too under an umbrella looking out into the distance pondering as well.
"I know, but it helps clear my head. It's peaceful and soothing," Kairi explained even though she knew that her peaceful escapade may lead her to another peaceful meeting with tea mixed with lemon and honey. "And yeah I'm okay just a little...boggled is all, and I'm S..Kairi just Kairi."
Her brows furrowed for a moment when she almost used her alias, Shio, after she decided to stop her hiding escapade, but it altered to wonder. The name Tifa sounded familiar, but when Kairi looked at her face she couldn't recognize it, "Are you from around here? ....It's just that I've been here for a while now and I don't remember your face at all."
Now she was raking her brain trying to remember where she could've possibly heard that name.
"Getting sick is not peaceful and soothing," Tifa smiled. The girl reminded her now of Aerith - calm. Gentle. Sweet. Or, at least, that was how she appeared to be. Looks could be deceiving, and Sephiroth was great proof of that.
Sephiroth.
Oh, how she hated him.
"Kairi, huh...you seem familiar. I've been walking around Radiant Garden for some time now, maybe you saw me?" she offered. It was the best explanation for now, since it seemed like neither females knew each other.
The rain seemed to be getting heavier a little, but Tifa's grip on the umbrella didn't waver in the very least. Suddenly, she felt very amused. The umbrella was rather reminiscent of Yuffie, or the oh so great White Rose of Wutai. God, she still remembered the materia incident...
But the past was the past.
"Have you seen a guy with spiky, yellow hair, broody, has a red cape, huge sword walking around?" Tifa sighed automatically. The question was rather standard by now.
"Well, well, well, I see you've still got an eye out for him, Tifa."
As the Warrior of Wutai had been walking towards the headquarters of the RGURC, she could have swore she heard Tifa talking to somebody, and was pleased to see that her guess was right. She had her hood up, but not high enough to hide her face, and opened her spare umbrella she had closed when running towards the HQ.
"If you're talking about Cloud, he's been around lately. I can't say the same for y-"
Yuffie cut off when she saw the other girl, recognition showing in her eyes. She smiled at thegirl she had met not long before and said,
"I see you're still around, Kairi. Still haven't found who you're looking for?"

Kairi hummed to her logic and nodded in agreement, "I suppose so."
Her head tilted with the question as her mind began painting the descriptions together, but she couldn't think of a name to match the face, "No I don't think-"
Her mouth hushed once hearing a familiar voice, and she looked back to see it was no other Yuffie. Who else can have so much perkiness in her voice? Actually Kairi began to think that she can trump Sora in the happy department. When she recognized her, the Princess gave a friendly wave, "No, I actually think I have, but that means I'll be leaving soon, but..."
She truly didn't wanted to leave some people goodbye, which one could be fall out drunk in a nearby bar. Clearing her head, Kairi perked up to find a diversion and change the subject; she rather not even think about that probem. She doesn't even want to know what to even call it. Surely boys' trouble wouldn't be appropriate, it would just imply an particular implication, and she doubt her mind can handle such idea without her face reacting.
"So where were you coming for Yuffie? I didn't take you for the out in the rain person..then again I caaan see you dancing in it."
"Speak of the devil," Tifa sighed. She pulled a face. "Considering I have nothing to do but attend to the Frosted Flame...it makes sense that I'm looking for him - at least it's something worthwhile to do.."
Hmm...."You're looking for someone too?" asked Tifa curiously. Feeling slightly tired of the rain, Tifa neared Kairi a little, allowing the umbrella to shield her from the raindrops. It was strange that the only ones out and about were females - her, Kairi and Yuffie, that is.
"Oh, you know, working RGURC stuff. Just on a patrol for now. But I didn't expect to find you two standing in the rain."
Out of her pocket she pulled an ice cream, taking its wrapper off and biting a piece off, allowing it to melt before swallowing. When she finished, she looked to Tifa with an idea showing on her face.
"I actually just had an idea, Tifa. Would you like to help me, Leon and the others with the RGURC? I hope you can still fight if you join, though, because we've apparently been having some problems with our defense system."
//OOC: See Dancing With A Fiery Lion
Once again she reached into he rpocket, withdrawing one of the RGURC cards she carried with her, and held it out to Tifa.

Kairi kept too herself as Yuffie conversed with Tifa, since it was none of her concern, but she did blinked with Tifa asked her a question. Shaking her head, she denied it, "well I really didn't came here looking for someone. You can say I was looking for me."
She shrugged if the concept was truly sane and made sense, and she wasn't perfectly sure if she was successful in the unnamed quest; regardless Kairi felt like she was heading in the right direction, "But I guess you can say I'll be looking for them now, since I'll be leaving soon."
She was still telling herself she was leaving as if the Princess had to convince herself more than anyone, but it was needed; still not being the one to put her troubled thoughts on others, she laughed it off, "Atleast I know this place would be in good hands. Right Yuffie?"
Tifa took the card, slightly amused. She'd heard of the Radiant Garden Restoration And Upkeep Committee, but the only thing she'd ever help with was the massive battle against the Heartless wave.
Sora.
What an intriguing boy...
"Sure," she smiled. It's not like she had anything much to do besides deal with lechers and handle the Frosted Flame anyway.
The girl's words were deep indeed....and Tifa studied her surreptitiously. Look into your heart, huh? Tifa smiled again.
Kuu had never been a great fan of rain like this. He was used to the swift summer showers of the Chinese coasts, the heavy torrents of the Caribbean and the tropical downpours of Destiny Islands. This kind of rain, with too little water to make you feel really refreshed but just enough to force you to undergo the hassle of wrapping yourself up and putting up your hood, was rather troublesome, especially when he had a lot to carry.
Clutching the magic books he was carrying, he tightened his grip on his raincoat, his head lowered in a desperate attempt to keep the rain from his glasses - though the whole point of them were to blur his vision, there was something ethically wrong with simply allowing water to gather on his spectacles, and the resultant fog from when his breath rose up to the lenses were unpleasant reminders that he was getting quite warm underneath the coat.
The moment I step outside, the rain commences, he thought darkly. My misfortune seems to expand even into meteorological horizons. Clouds have such a fickle existence.
He blew on his fringe to stop it from swinging down over his eyes, but as he had predicted, it only served to fog up his vision, and for a moment, he was completely unable to see. In that moment, he turned the corner around to the Bailey, while slipping on an unseen puddle. As he fell, he reflexively twisted around to protect the books he was carrying, and landed with a rather noisy splash as his shoulder collided with an even larger puddle conveniently placed underneath him.
'Great,' he muttered. 'Now my raincoat is ruined.'
As Yuffie began to put her hands in her pockets, she heard a splash, and pivoted on a heel, seeing a boy who had fell into a puddle. Her shuriken had appeared in her hand, ready to be thrown, but she stopped when she saw the threat wasn't major.
"Be right back." she shot at Tifa and Kairi as she went to help the stranger up, placing a hand on his arm.

"Hm?" Kairi thought she heard a splash, but with all the rain it almost tuned it out. She blinked when Yuffie pardoned herself; Kairi just assumed she may have forgotten something; that wasn't too unlikely for the perky ninja. That left her alone with Tifa who she knew little to nothing about; if she wasn't already a RG committee memeber then what have she been doing here? She had to back track to remember she mentioned about a guy named Cloud, but she could recall the sigh she gave once mentioning him. Her usual day dream nature was starting to make her forgetful, but she can still pick up those tail-tail signs that something was up, "So Tifa how long have you've been looking for this Cloud person? It sounds like you really miss him"
She could atest and relate to that; true she didn't came to Radiant Garden looking for someone, but now that she had met someone, Kairi had already contemplated on stalling her departure just to find him again. She found it crude to leave without saying goodbye, but even she knew it was merely an excuse to see him again and be around the comforting breath of fresh air...even if it was primarily cigarette smoke. Perhaps she struggled in finding him, because he didn't want to be found. Now that was an angle Kairi didn't ponder a lot on; hopefully the same wasn't going through this Cloud's mind as well.
She turned towards the general direction to where Yuffie went only to spot her just as easily. She hummed curiously only to notice that someone was with her. Her brows furrowed unsure how to digest it whething if someone was harmed or she was being typical friendly Yuffie.
