In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Rolagii put down the satchel he carried on his back and sighed. He cracked his knuckles, smiling as they responded with small jolts of electricity. "Today's training session's gonna be a good one. I can feel it in my bones."
Un-wrapping the satchel revealed a large jug of red liquid, four High-Potions, two Ethers, an Elixir, a sandwich, several snack bar items, and a large black box with strange dials and two nodes sticking out of it. Rolagii smiled at this last item, picking it up for examination and musing aloud once again. "this small gummi generator* should prove interesting. let's see..." He frowned, reading the power output on the label. "What!? it's over 9000!?!"
Rolgaii dropped the generator, upset that he hadn't checked the wattage before buying it. "That'll make me-" His eye caught the last word- "megawatts... Oh. Well in that case, that's a normal lightning strike. Nothin' out of the ordinary..." Rolagii shook his head. "Heh... 9000 terrawatts would be fun- but it would kill me during the cooldown."
Rolagii lflexed at his hands with a grin plastered on his face. Because of the Thor Gauntlets, Rolagii could conduct electricity. When hit by an electric attack, he is healed and his entire body gets supercharged if he's hit with enough power. There was a troublesome cost, as the cool-down from said energy boost was a terrible energy crash. Case and point was when he met up with Troxber, who used thundara to help against the Heartless, striking the Sarge in the process. The result was that Rolagii's power tripled, and he destroyed all of the remaining Heartless. The cost appeared in a couple hours, as he became irritable and exhausted, crashing into a bed and not waking up until the next morning.
This crash, similar to a sugar buzz crash, was not a new phenomenon, it was something that Rolagii was well aware of. Over the years of having his gloves, the Sarge has taught himself how to better handle the intake and control of wild electricity, and works constantly to improve it to a point where he does not suffer a crash.
That's what the Gummi-class Generator was for. Rolagii would occasionally touch both nodes and allow small amounts of the energy introduced to him to enter his system. He would then sit down and meditate, storing the energy into his cells as a backup, practicing exchanging the energy from use to storage.
Today would hopefully serve a dual purpose for Rolagii. It would be a day of quiet meditation, so he could build up the electricity in his body. Also, his training spot was far enough on the outskirts of town that no humans would be disturbing him, and the claymores couldn't reach it, so there was a chance for Heartless encounters. Not only would he be meditating and storing energy, but he would be practicing releasing the energy into his system in small and manageable amounts, instead of letting it rage throughout his body.
He sat himself at the base of a nearby cliff, closed his eyes, and started to meditate. In his position of meditation, Rolagii simply cleared his mind and focused all of his body processes that were idle to one task: accepting and storing the energy occasionally given off by the generator.
As he sat in his meditating position, he could feel the eyes of something else upon him, something nearby. "Hmm... I wonder what types of visitors I'll get today?"
((* Average Lightning Strike= 1 Terawatt, or 1 trillion watts. Average Gummi ship Generator is USUALLYmeasured in Terawatts. 1 Megawatt= 1 million watts 1 thousand Megawatts ~ 1 Terawatt. Just for clarification))
There he stood. The Flurry was standing just on the other side of the invisible line. He watched the hovering metal ball acerbically, testing it, throwing his hand over the line one minute, only to jerk it back before a beam of light could strike it.
He did this a few times, occupying the forefront of his mind as he contemplated how to get around the system somewhere in the back. Radiant Garden occupied the sight of both Organization Thirteen, and their opposing force, the Dark Twelve. If there was a glitch in the system, chaos was sure to follow; and victory, for the Organization, would be hard to persuade.
Hands on his hips, the Nobody’s mind turned in knots, trying to analyze this contraption, vandalism hanging heavier and heavier the longer he dwelt on the issue.
The taint of Heartless was polluting the atmosphere, saturating the air little by little as the minutes ticked by. Axel was well aware that the longer he hung around, the more likely the stupid black blurs were to show their faces... And by him, that was perfectly all right. The Nobody was always looking to stir up trouble, always looking for an excuse to swing his weapons at shadows... but what emerged from the warping waves in the air weren’t shadows.
These creatures were much larger, bodies covered in orange and pale purple, their wings outstretched, and sharp claws kneading at the nothingness beneath them. The pair stood sentinel awhile as if analyzing Axel a long moment, wondering if they’d stricken a nerve of fear, perhaps.
The few seconds of inactivity gave Axel the time he needed to summon up his CHakrams, tossing both arms to the side, and allowing the wheels to spin into existence and slide to a stop, clinking right into their master’s hands and twisting at the vertical ready.
The first dive-bomber was easy to dodge, and then the real fight ensued. The opponents had kept him on his toes, and he decided to play with them, humor them if you will.
A parry here, and a swing there. This deadly dance carried on... With the finesse The Flurry merited to play this game, it seemed like a deadly poetry - a staged skit, perhaps.
...At least until the enemy wisened up.
One shot right past him, baring claw and tail, trying to knock the targeted foe off kilter. he was the distraction for the second to plunge right into the Axel’s back.
His left Chakram flew from his hand, skidding to a stop along the ground. He flung his other weapon to the ready, catching the jaws of his angry opposition. He did his best to press the monsters as far away from him as possible, arms shivering, but perseverant. The first Heartless pressed closer, trying to bite and claw at their downed prey... who was, by now, having second thoughts about toying this close to danger.
The second Wyvern wheeled its head around, listening. It searched for a distracting noise. Something close-by was crackling.
Rolagii's meditations were interrupted by a strange popping noise. opening his eyes and looking side to side, he was puzzled at the fact that he did not see where the strange noise came from. Standing up and cracking his knuckles, the Lion kept looking around as he grabbed a snack bar, unwrapped it and ate half of it in one bite, trying to be as quiet as possible. He was about to take another bite when he heard a small clink of metal. Looking around more, he scratched his head. The only thing behind him was a cliff...
Before he could ponder much more, he heard the sounds of a scuffle, and the occasional cries of two large heartless. The screeching cries they made indicated that they were heartless of the Wyvern breed, a creature that crudely resembled a dragon. Finishing off the rest of the snack bar, Rolagii turned the generator dial to the highest position, and then pushed the on button. Nothing happened until he placed his left hand on the positive node and his right hand on the negative node.
There was a clearly audible crackling noise, and Rolagii smirked as he slowly allowed the energy to enter his body. After a few seconds, the Sarge took his hands off of the device, turned it off, and look up at the top of the cliff. Crouching, he focused some of the energy he had received into his jump, which would allow him to jump high enough to clear the top of the twenty foot cliff. Just before he was finished, he realized that there was a projectile headed for his position.
A silver and red wheel had skidded to the edge of the cliff, teetering precariously. As Rolagii took note of it, it fell towards him. He released the jump, propelling himself towards the falling object and over the top of the cliff. The amount of power focused into his jump had propelled him far enough into the air that he had time to focus a crackling ball of energy into his fists. Holding the strange wheel-weapon in his right hand, he cocked back with a lightning punch from his left hand, flying toward the foolish Wyvern that moved to intercept him.
The punch hit the Wyvern straight in the head, sending the creature reeling towards its companion, allowing Rolagii to land and quickly asses the situation. "Hmmm..."
He noticed several things. First, the original target of the heartless was a... person in a floor length black cloak, fiery red hair with black roots, and in his hand was the twin of the wheel Rolagii was holding. Second, the being was close to one of the outreach sentinels of Radiant Garden, which was one of three, each creating a safe place for non heartless or nobody creatures could find a quick rest and sometimes a heal.
Thirdly, he noticed that the other figure was on the ground, struggling to defend against the other Wyvern. Rolagii smirked inwardly, quickly focusing his energy into a Lion's Roar, which would stun or scare the Wyverns. The sound and shock wave attack was something that even Simba of the Pridelands would be impressed with, should the two ever meet. It had the potential to confuse a large behemoth heartless for a few seconds.
Taking advantage of his created distraction, he ran forward, throwing the wheel at its owner. "Catch!" With visible electrical energy crackling around his fists and boots, he flew into his Prideful Flurry with a cry of; "Take this, Heartless!"
Targeting the Wyvern that had already received a blow to the head, Rolagii rushed into close quarters with an electrically charged vertical sweep-kick, launching his opponent (further) into the air. Before the Wyvern could recover from the new disorientation, Rolagii had carried himself into the air after it and flew into a quick combination of four punches and then a flipping roundhouse kick, following with another punch and ending with a solid side kick to the creature's head. Winding up his fist once again, Rolagii focused some of the remaining over-charge into a small sphere that formed around his left hand. The sphere emitted the smell of ozone as it was driven into the Wyvern's body, sending it crashing to the ground.
The smell of ozone lingered as sphere and creature dissipated, and Rolagii turned to check on how the other person was dealing with the other Wyvern.
"You OK?" ((I'm Assuming that the Roar was enough of a distraction/stun for both getting the Wyvern off your chest and for you to reclaim the Chakram. Sorry it's so freaking long. XD))
It was very convenient that the second Wyvern had been distracted. Axel could've cared less for what had distracted it. A distraction was a distraction.
A sudden rumble erupted from someone nearby, and his opponent froze, twitching in mid-swing. The situation had just switched from a losing battle to a winning streak on the turn of a dime. These sorts of moments wrote the story of his life, and it was in such pivotal times that he was able to escape.
"Catch!"
Scrambling out of the beast's clutches, he hardly had enough time to spin around and focus before snatching his Chakram from mid-air. A simple nod was given to his current ally. By now the beast was coming to, and it shook and screeched in irritation, boring rather quickly of being mocked.
The Nobody blinked out of sight, only to re-appear behind his foe. With an angry shout, he ignited both weapons, tossing them one after the other straight into the Heartless. The beast writhed, tumbling to the ground, and dissipating in a cloud of dark dust. His weapons sent up a final burst of flame; an angry retort to the fiend they had finished off.
They spun back into their master’s hands like a pair of flashy boomerangs, and the Nobody shifted to face his ally, fanged wheels in hand. ”Fine, thanks.” The latter part was sincere. After all, it wasn’t every day someone popped out of nowhere to lend a helping hand. That sort of thing only happened on special occasions.
((Sorry it's a little dry. If you need anything let me know.))
Rolagii dusted his hands off and looked closer at the other fellow, nodding in answer. "No problem! I've been waiting to have a good tussle for a while now, and Wyverns are usually a good warm up!" He laughed, and pushed his palms together. the result was a large crackle of electricity that arced around his body.
As the large arcs subsided into smaller ones and then eventually disappearing all together, he walked over to the other being. "However, When they hunt, they hunt in pairs. It adds a bit more of a challenge for a single person, wouldn't you agree?" Laughing, the lion offered a hand. "The name is Rolagii."
If the other person were to shake the offered hand, they would feel a slight tingle of electricity, like a small static shock, as Rolagii's body was still slightly charged. Nothing harmful, just surprising.
"What brings you out here?" Rolagii was curious: normally, people didn't spend too much time out here on their own.
The Nobody was nice enough to jet his hand out and shake this stranger's. He had been expecting some kind of charge, judging by the electrical flashes previously displayed, but the shock was still not quite comfortable. Though, if one were to pay attention, they might've noticed an abnormally high temperature emitting from Axel's own hand. This was nothing unusual; his temperature always remained abnormally high.
With one nod of his head, he glanced toward their fallen opponents, reflecting on the previously-spoken words. "Heartless are always a mess..." his eyes shot into the distance a moment, glancing at the barrier - his rival, and the protector of the city within. They didn't linger long before returning to the one that had inquired as to his intentions. The question was, should he tell the truth, or fabricate a lie? Getting into the city was going to be enough of a miracle... But what if he lied, got in, and that lie came back to bite him in the butt? Hmm... Truth had a way of laughing at him sometimes. Its teeth were abnormally sharp.
Another concept stirred in his brilliant, redheaded mind. It wasn't to be the truth, nor a lie, but that gray thing in-between... Very similar to his own species. "You see that barrier over there?"
Rolagii smiled. the other person was definitely interesting. The heat emanating from the gloved hand had a whisper of great power, but the person didn't seem.... whole.
interesting...I'll have to do some research on that later. Definitely not a heartless though...
The younger man seemed to be troubling over something within his mind, Deliberating within himself. Rolagii stood with his arms crossed, patiently waiting for the question.
"That Barrier? Heh. Yeah. why? Malfunctioning again?" Rolagii laughed, stepping closer to the boundary, only to have the sentry bot snap to attention in his direction. He took two steps forward, into the range of the bot, only to have a crackling beam shot at him. Shaking his head, he stepped back out of range.
"yep, it's malfunctioning again. Stupid thing is supposed to shoot out whatever it's foe is weak against, and only if the target is a heartless or one of them... other guys." Rolagii picked up a small rock, musing to himself about what could be wrong.
"It looks, however, like it has a powering issue, or someone hit it with something and scrambled the program. Maybe if it gets hit again, it'll shut down..."
Rolagii grinned. He knew just how important these defensive features were, and how much explaining he'd have to do if he were caught 'tampering' with one. Not that he intended to leave it down, he was just going to need time to fix the thing....
Axel had noticed something about this guy in the brief time they'd known each other. It was one of those looming feelings -- distant, but enough to be noticeable -- the type of thing Nobodies and Heartless tended to pick up on rather quickly; this guy had a certain undeniable strength of character. It may have made him tough, but there was a high chance that the measure of his strength was equal to the measure of his loyalty, and that was something Axel was going to wager. Sure, he had yet to confirm it, but it was worth stepping out on a limb to find out. Chance. It had gotten Axel out of many a tough situation, and seemed to particularly fancy the redhead. In this particular instance, however, it had come up short. "Yeah, they've been malfunctioning for me, too."
With perfect posture, the Nobody slinked around to the other side of Rolagii, letting a contemplative hand slide off of his chin, main finger pointing to the contraption subject to their debate. "See, I'd like to help Radiant Garden fight the Heartless," a simple sigh escaped his mouth. "but unfortunately, when they reprogrammed the machines to keep the Heartless out, I got overlooked, and I'm no longer able to get into the city. This bot's brain's been scrambled, and now it thinks I'm the enemy," he shook his head. "Now, you wouldn't be willing to help me out of this little predicament, and correctly program this little device, would you? I'd be eternally grateful."
It was his intention to play this smoothly, and he was keeping his mental fingers crossed. Hopefully, this came off just the way he wanted it to. Axel didn't reason that he had a lot to fear here. After all, his charisma rating was typically stellar.
And, who knew? Maybe Rolagii was willing to take a small gamble, in the name of justice against the race of Darkness?
A smooth voice echoed from the shadows. Silver eyes opened from behind the redhead. Out of the darkness, a human figure dripped with black oils. Raven black hair was tangled in a mess over those steely eyes. A black jacket and blue jeans soon emerged from it as well. The man held a straight pose, his head cocked, with a sardonic smile spread across his slim face, half hidden behind his messy hair.
Ienzo, the silver-eyed Heartless, threw the rest of materialized shadows off of him and crossed his arms. "I doubt the Organization needs into Radiant Garden. There's a reason you can't go in. Your kind has caused grief here as well as mine has."
Axel... Which number was he again? Ienzo couldn't remember. Whatever he was, Ienzo knew his powers. Axel, the flurry of dancing flames. Hmm... Flames created shadows, deep ones. Ienzo could use that to his advantage if the Nobody refused to go. Radiant Garden was not to be touched. Ienzo had too many people that he had grown fond of to allow the Nobodies back.
Rolagii nodded towards the Pyromancer, rubbing the rock in his hand with his thumb. Of course, he knew that the whole spheal was a load of crap- but the thing needed to be fixed. However, there was no doubt in his mind that he was going to try and program an exception for the wry redhead.
As it was, this was an outskirt defense. It's sphere of influence would get you closer to the city.... but not in. If one could bypass this, they'd have better chances, because they would't light up as an enemy until they actually entered town.
Rolagii smiled at the Nobody in front of him, and opened his mouth to say something as he noticed another presence.
Well.... things just got interesting. Rolagii knew what was coming next... Hell, he had once been in a similar situation but from a different perspective.
His mind flashed back to when he was very young, back in the time when after he left his hometown. He had been cold and tired, but the only city on his path was a strange, secretive place, heavily guarded against newcomers. It was an interesting coincidence, however, that a powerful warrior was on his way into the city at that same time, and took note of the Lightning Lion's strange appearance, and took him under his wing for a couple months.
Pulling his mind back to the present, however, he snorted when Ienzo stated his will. Ienzo... I remember you... you're a strange one. I've heard good and bad about you... this is going to be more difficult than I thought.
Rolagii lightly tossed the rock in his hand. "Aye, stranger, I'm sure his kind have done bad things in the past, as have your kind. But if there's a reason why Red can't get in, then who says you should be allowed in?"
With a glance at the malfunctioning barrier device, which had started to spin around like a top, Rolagii shook his head. "Either way, I wasn't necessarily going to allow anyone in. I was just going to take that piece of junk and clean out the bugs."
Adjusting his grip on the rock, Rolagii looked at Ienzo, shrugged and said; "Sorry, stranger, but-" The guardian stopped spinning, beeped three times, and fizzled out, making Rolagii look at it confusedly. "Well then... I guess the matter is out of our hands either way. This targeter needs to be operational, so I'm gonna fix it."
Rolagii pulled out his bowie knife as he turned toward the sparking and frazzled defense robot, smirking and muttered; "Unless you want to stop me, of course."
Irritation seeped into the atmosphere along with the Heartless. The redhead turned his attention toward the newcomer; the presence Axel felt told him this guy was definitely a Heartless. Highly intelligent, and surprisingly Humanoid -- this put him with the Dark Twelve. But whose counterpart he was remained a mystery, as did his element, which the Flurry would have to watch carefully for.
Axel turned toward the unfamiliar voice, hands finding a familiar place on his gaunt hips, and his face donning a fiery disapproval. "If I'm not mistaken, no one invited you to the party, Heartless," the last word was seethed acerbically as sharp dusty-green eyes mistrustingly followed the formal rival.
Rolagii pulled out his bowie knife as he turned toward the sparking and frazzled defense robot, smirking and muttered; "Unless you want to stop me, of course."
As the Lightning Lion made his claim, Axel's posture aligned to fully face the dangerous Heartless, stepping slightly in front of Rolagii, and in doing so, emphasizing his standing. The Organization's Number Eight didn't plan to just give up and go home. He had planted himself here, and wasn't going to move. This Heartless would have to back off, or fight.
But before the battle, perhaps there was just a little more to be said. Whether it would stir the stranger to fight, or only slow him down Axel could not tell. He snickered. "And people you care about? Puh-lease!" one hand pressed against his chest, then gestured into the air as he spoke. For some reason, fluid movement of his arms helped him get his thoughts out. "We both know that Heartless don't have feelings..." his smile grew a hair grimmer. "You must mean your pawns."
Well if that wasn't a cold slap in the face. The words themselves seemed intelligent. Well-composed perhaps. And yet, what he was implying by them was that the Heartless was using people for naught more than the benefits of his cause; just like pawns on a chess board.
Perhaps even these two were pawns, not fully realizing they're used merely as a tool for a greater goal: Kingdom Hearts. And it was time for the next move.
Ienzo laughed slowly, enjoying the air. A sardonic ring echoed in it as he lifted his nose at the Nobody. Still, the laugh he had wasn't good enough... Wasn't Axel supposed to have a comic touch? The Heartless drew a breath.
"Pawns, friends, whatever you want to call them. I suppose a Heartless wouldn't understand that, right?" He smiled sarcastically at the Nobody. "But to the contrary, I am a Heart without a body, Axel. All I can do is feel." He pursed his lips. "Oh... How unfortunate. You're missing a Heart. I forgot. Perhaps I should stop talking about them." He had asked Tifa for forgiveness, despite his own Organization's plans. He met Note here, and even though the young boy returned home, he held the olive branch clipping on a string of shadows curled around his neck. This place was his only escape. The Organization wasn't going to take it away from him.
He suddenly found his focus on his right arm, hidden beneath his coat. An oily feeling was spreading down it, like the cold chills of a fever. It was also beginning to feel warm, uncomfortably warm. What would he want with these fools? Ienzo thought as he examined the two. He made a deal with Tifa...
He sighed and put a hand to his chin, immediately bearing an immaculate resemblence to his own Nobody. Tifa wasn't here. Squall had gone for a while to learn how to pilot a Gummi ship. The Restoration Committee couldn't deal with anybody right now. Their defense system was the only thing that could protect it. Ienzo had to fight.
His steely eyes locked onto Axel's. "You're too fond of your organization, Nobody. I would give you a lecture on what you're doing, remind you of how you betrayed them, etc... But now's not the time. I'm hungry, and I want to finish this quickly."
In a flash, all was black. The entire conversation was a distraction so Ienzo could envelop them in shadows. The shadows dissipated and the Heartless had disappeared, leaving behind three Neo-Shadows to focus on Axel.
As the Neo-Shadows started to attack, a large wind picked up, a dark portal forming in the middle of the forming tempest. A booted foot stepped out, followed by a cloaked and gloved arm. Piece by piece of a seemingly human body emerged until Xaldin stood in between the Heartless and Axel, holding his lances and ready for battle. "It appears that you have had some conflict with the Dark XII, my friend." He chuckled and said, "It's a shame he didn't leave more of a challenge." At some silent cue, four Dragoons appeared in bursts of nothingness around the Whirlwind Lancer as he lunged at a Neo-Shadow. The Dragoons focused on holding the other Neo-Shadows back.
He used his manipulation of air to increase the velocity of the lunge, which caused the lance to ram right through the Heartless, which disappeared in a blast of darkness. He then focused his attention to the other two Heartless, which had eliminated all of his Dragoons and were facing him. He turned to them and said, "Begone, nuisance." With the flick of a finger, compressed pockets of air shot at the Neo-Shadows, sending them flying into the distance. He smiled and turned to Axel, his lances turning into their own separate wisps of air, the breeze carrying them away. He crossed his arm and just stared at the Flurry.
Rolagii took note of the banter between the heartless and the ...Nobody? yeah... he said no-body. that's odd... they call the thing that is a heart corrupted by darkness a Heartless... and then the one without a heart is called a nobody... interesting.
The Sarge was in a sticky situation, and he knew it. There were two opposite factions here, both of them were supposedly the enemy. However, he had helped one of them out, meaning that for now, the redhead was on his side. Rolagii walked up to the malfunctioning bot and stroked his chin, letting the conversation behind him fade as he examined the internals of the sparking robot. Quickly, he pried it open, and was about to re-charge everything when the world went black for a few seconds. Rolagii spun himself around, facing where the Heartless had been.
He immediately noticed two things: One, the heartless had left and was replaced with three of the neo-heartless, and two, Axel had shifted to stand between the heartless and himself. He was about to launch himself forward, but the wind picked up, causing him to restrain himself. The wind swirled, creating a darkness portal which a man dressed similarly to the redhead appeared.
This newcomer was certainly impressive looking, and as he summoned his minions, Rolagii smiled. The Neo-Shadows jumped, and tore through the strange, lance wielding creatures, only to be blown away by small compressed air blasts from the lancer nobody.
As the battle ended, Rolagii cocked an eyebrow at the being that was now staring at him. The lancer was as tall as Rolagii, and just about as thick as the lion was, so the stare didn't seem to phase him much. "Aye? and what do you want?"
He allowed his gaze to linger for a couple seconds, then he turned to the Red head. "That was interesting... A pity that Ienzo didn't stay, eh?" Rolagii laughed, and walked toward the edge of the cliff. Jumping down, back to where his stuff was, Rolagii grabbed the gummiship generator he had been using earlier, and then jumped back up to the top of the cliff.
Bringing the generator over to the disassembled sentry-bot, Rolagii pulled out a length of two colored wire from the bot, split it and stripped the end with his knife. He then took the split wires and attached them at either node of the generator, which he then turned on. A loud zapping noise was heard, and Rolagii worked quickly.
After a few minutes, Rolagii sighed, turned off the generator, unhooked the two wires, and attached them to something within the bot. There was a click, and then Rolagii put everything back together. As he stood up, the bot re-activated itself, and resumed its hovering position that it had been before it shorted out.
Standing up and looking at his work, Rolagii smiled. "there we go. Confound technology... it's a good thing I spent all that time learning about this stuff. Back at home, we didn't have anything nearly like this!"
As he spoke, Rolagii looked between the Nobodies. no sooner than he finished, the sentry bot shot out a small, green beam, and a robotic voice emanated. as the bot spoke, the beam outlined Rolagii. "Scanning... Scanning... Target Identified. Humanoid, Name: Sergent Rolagii. Threat level: Ally."
The bot swept its beam to Axel, and repeated the process. "Scanning, Scanning... Target Identity unknown. Humanoid, Name: unknown, Threat level: Yet to be determined. Scanning... complete."
After this display, the beam dissipated, and Rolagii shrugged. "Well, it seems to be restored to its original functions now..."
Walking towards the lance-wielding nobody and examining him with his good eye, Rolagii stuck out his hand. "Hi there, the name's Rolagii. Who might you be?"
If Xaldin choose to shake the offered hand, he would notice an electrical charge, slightly stronger than the one Axel felt.
The Nobody stood, outwardly stalwart, but inwardly hesitant as the refurbished contraption began to whir and purr to life. It quickly scanned Rolagii, then spat his information. And then, quite quickly it changed targets.
As it spun over toward him, Axel shielded his eyes, trying to keep the light from the sweeping scan from burning them further. Then, just like that, it had ended... But strangely enough, it didn't attack him. Perhaps Radiant Garden was on a lower alert system than they had been in previous days.
Regardless, it gave him a glimmer of hope. Hope, that same strong enigma that had killed him before... Perhaps there was more to it than --
-- his attention was diverted when Rolagii offered his hand to the Whirlwind Lancer, and a smirk tucked to one corner of the pale Nobody's face. He was waiting for the immanent, and perhaps surprised response that Number Three would give.
