In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Strings of darkness danced into nonexistence behind him as he set foot on a new planet. Well, it was new to him. The greens of the garden, along with all the colors of this world, were vibrant... cartoony. It was like he'd walked right into a child's imagination; and perhaps in days previous, the essence of the world was just as innocent. But now the planet carried a dank, twisted feeling. The sort of thing that belonged in the World that Never was, or the pits of Hades, but not here. This aura stunk with the smell of Heartless, but not Heartless alone. Nobodies and Somebodies had been coiled together, twisting all at once into his senses like different items, each with a unique smell.
There was another presence in the mix. A faint whiff of a girl he'd met only once before. One that Axel was tracking. Up until this point, he'd wondered if he'd lost the trail. After all, having only been around her once before, her presence was weak and hard to pinpoint... But the traces of her existence were stronger now. All he'd have to do is continue to follow it. That was, if her presence wouldn't get smothered by the overpowering reek of Darkness that seemed to cover this planet.
A shadow scurried along the ground, heading for -- what was that, a Castle?
Figuring that would be as good a place to continue his chase as any, onyx leather boots brought him into motion, following the Heartless toward its destination. It was time to find this Kirata. A proposition was in order. Whether or not she'd buy into it? Well...
Humming as she skipped through the grass that lined the Castle Grounds, Kirata frolicked (Oh my god, I'm so going to kill myself later for that...). The lush feel of the grass beneath her feet felt so good! So soft and cool to the touch. It was a relief on her feet from all the other travels that she had... all the rocky terrain, hot pavement, sinking sands.... It was so relaxing, calm and cool!
Giving a rather satisfied sigh, Kirata sat down upon the grass and then stared up to the sky. She was wondering what Kaze was up to at the moment. Yeah, they had come here together... but it certainly seemed like he had more business here than she did. So... having opted to stay outside and wait for him, that's exactly what Kirata did -- not that she minded any. Not with how calm it was out here. Even though it looked like the castle had undergone some damages... the ruckus seemed to have died down a lot.
Humming again, Kira closed her eyes and tilted her head back, just basking in the warm glow of the sun and taking in the rather peaceful ambiance.
The temperate climate was almost perfect; a cool breeze to compliment the warm Sun, the soft grass, swaying through the invisible wind, vibrant flowers that seemed to welcome the world. Even with the taint of Heartless this place seemed relaxing.
On his way to the Castle, the lithe Nobody noticed something that caused him to stop. It was a girl... and not just any girl. This one matched his memory. Burning orange hair, a bright contrast to those grey eyes... bare feet, and a chipper attitude. Where was the easy button when it was needed? Sure, the chase took awhile, but actually finding her? It was almost too simple. Simple. That was exactly how he liked things.
"Well well well, if it isn't Kirata..." after announcing his presence, he strode a few paces closer. "I was just looking for you!"

Business. Kaze was here for business. True, he hadn't knocked on the door or had even made an attempt to get anyone's attention since Kirata left, but that didn't matter. He needed to prepare himself. However, he knew he took too long. He was done. He knew where it was, he needed some time to collect his thoughts and regroup. Preferably, back at Twilight Town with a pen and a notepad, relaxing atop the clock tower.
It was a good place to think, that clock tower. One could sit there for ages, watching the sky, the people, even the clock. There's a dull ticking noise that goes with the clock, but most don't pay attention to that. It's the tower itself that mattered, not the clock. It's a wonder that anybody pays attention to the bell. On second thought, Kaze thought he was probably the only one who did. Its sound was beautiful, unlike anything he had ever or will ever hear. It's a humble clock, but at the same time it sounds like home.
He hesitated further, playing with the end of his jacket. Should he really turn back now? He believed he should. But, what would Kirata think? They got there, and all for what? For Kaze to stall, freak out, and go home. He knew he had time, all the time of his life. Maybe he should just go ask her opinion...
His opinion decided, he began walking down the stairs. He took rapid, almost jumpy steps, like he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Kira wouldn't get mad. She never did. That was just in her personality. Sure, Kaze might get mad at himself, but he always had Kira to look to for a laugh or a morale booster. He liked having her around. Strange, considering he liked being alone rather with company. He assumed it was a quirk, and shrugged it off with nothing more than a passing thought. A momentary lapse of self control. Was that what it was? Was he trying to control his thoughts and feelings?
A paradox in itself, surely, with nobody to blame but Kaze himself.
Rounding a corner, he looked and found Kira. He was going to call out to her when he noticed someone else. Someone in black robes. Normal people don't wear black robes like that in broad daylight anywhere. He knew that the man in front of him had to be one of them.
"Kira!" he shouted, running up to her side. He'd lost enough. A friend wasn't on his list, and he wasn't about to make another addition.
Keeping her eyes closed for the time being, Kirata just continued to sit back in the grass with her head ever-so-slightly inclined to be facing up at an angle to soak up the sun's warm rays. Kirata's ginger hair and periwinkle ribbons seemed to have been tugged playfully by the winds that passed by from time to time -- though, the wind itself, seemed to caress her skin gently, making the temperate weather all that much more to be enjoying.
"Well well well, if it isn't Kirata..."[/color]
The ginger looked up at the sound of her name and then a smile had made it's way onto her face.
"I was just looking for you!"[/i]
"Really?" was the first word that escaped Kirata's lips as she pushed herself up and dusted herself off. She looked up to Axel and then had her smile grow into a grin. "You know, I always knew that we may crossing paths once again. How has eveything been, Axel?"
Ah... such a pleasant surprise to be running into a friend that had helped her out. Well... though this was great and all... Kirata was starting to wonder about Kaze. She had come here with him initially and it would have been very, very rude to have just meandered off on him like that with Axel (granted, if he were to be wandering off anywhere with her in tow). Besides... though Axel was considered to be a good friend of hers, Kirata seemed to have been enjoying her time with Kaze -- not to mention the fact that she was still teaching him a few magic tricks that she could have been.
"Kira!"
Oh... thinking of! Talk about convenience.
Turning her attention to Kaze, Kirata giggled and waved to him somewhat. "Hi Kaze~ Lookit~ Did you ever get to meet my friend, Axel? He helped me travel different worlds and stuff in my search for my friend. Hehe... y-you could say I actually own him quite a bit."
Wow. During their time on different worlds, Axel had forgotten the propriety this girl possessed. It was refreshing, really, considering that every encounter before this had been relatively hostile. Every now and again it was nice to encounter people who didn't want to kill you.
"You know, I always knew that we may crossing paths once again. How has eveything been, Axel?"
"Yeah. Figure that..." Suddenly, a tinge of guilt hit the rise in his stomach. He was going to be asking one of the few people that saw him in a good light for help? This didn't look so good. (But Nobodies can't really feel, right?)
He placed his hands on his hips. "It's been pretty crazy, actually. Speaking of which, I've got a favor to ask of you..." Right then, another redhead joined the party. A foreign kid by the looks of it. This twisted things just a bit, didn't it? Ah well, guess he'd have to spill the beans anyway. And who knew? Maybe this kid could help, too...

"Hi Kaze~ Lookit~ Did you ever get to meet my friend, Axel? He helped me travel different worlds and stuff in my search for my friend. Hehe... y-you could say I actually own him quite a bit."
Friend? He was her friend? Kaze knew it, he damn well knew it and he had known it all along and he was a fool to ever have doubted it for a second. If Kira was friends with Axel, then they all couldn't be bad. Not at all. His expression softened towards Axel, as he stood a bit in front of Kira, almost... Defensively. Why? Instinct? Kaze didn't figure it was such, something else had to have an effect in this situation besides his desire to protect from danger.
However, the man did not seem dangerous. He seemed, if anything, a bit agitated. Maybe it was all the red in the vicinity. He knew too many redheads. Maybe they communicated telepathically with a sonar and everything, and all congregated at the same time. It was an amusing thought, barely plausible for the given situation, but here they were.
(Meh... Bad post. I just wanted to get something here before I put it off another day ><)
