In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Malum stared up at the stars, his lilac eyes reflecting only a fragment of the light offered by the worlds beyond. He sat on the edge of the hotel in the second district. A line of screws ran up the side of the building, only a foot or two away from eachother. He had used them to climb the building and though it would now have several indentions in the side he would fix it in a second, he just wanted to enjoy the view a bit more.
Sighing he snapped his fingers, only to look a little flashy as he made the screws imbedded in the building disappear and returned the building to it's original state. He was stuck up here now but he'd live it, after all he had all night to get home. Hell he couldn't even tell what time it was, for lack of a watch and the endless night that existed here, he just slept when he felt like it and woke up when he could no longer sleep.
Despite this he had bags under his eyes as if he hadn't been recieving enough sleep. He knew of them but no matter how much sleep he got they never went away. He wondered if they were due to something else but left the idea floating elsewhere in his mind some time ago and had yet to come back to it til now. Shrugging he let it go once more, another one of his problems he'd deal with later.
"I wonder... why does it feel like I'm forgetting something important..." Something was supposed to be special about today but he couldn't remember. That feeling though had a reason, after all, it was Malum's birthday tomorrow but he wouldn't remember. After all, why would he remember something everyone else seemed to find insignificant back on his world?

Blue mist popped as an equally blue figured stood as the fog disappeared. Aphrodite home her teleportation within the world for precision. She had already jumped from the First District to the Third and now the Second. It was easier to navigate herself in places she already journeyed through, and she’s been harboring in Traverse Town for a while after leaving Destiny Island, where she departed to immediately after her freedom with Castle Oblivion’s basement.
She could still remember those voices, the faces, and the blinding white dead walls. She wouldn’t forget the place even if her life depended on it; plus she needed to keep her memories crystal clear of it, so she could return and wreak havoc on the forsaken abomination of life. Too many important memories and strong emotions lay within that world, and she would be damned if her mind lost sight of it. If she did, she may not ever randomly appear there like she had on the Islands.
Her other companions were elsewhere on the world, but they would leave when necessary. When was necessary? The Aeon asked herself. What course of action should she take now, and where could she go? Her knowledge of specific worlds was limited through the eyes of her summoner. Other than that, she lacked knowledge of them. Perhaps she needed to find a macerator. She needed leads and more numbers; she needed a network and satisfaction. Despite knowing what was needed, the Aeon was at a dead end of frustration as her bare blue feet stomped against the ground. Her skirt whipped violently with her long hasted strides, while her dreaded blue hair wisped around with her keen attentiveness.
She had already experienced the visitation of another abomination labeled as heartless. Although they had hearts, it was empty and void leaving them just as cold as majority of Unsent. She had recently already had taken out her stress and anger out of them, but the imps of shadows, the lame of soldiers, and the unorthodox of air soldiers hardly satisfied her.
“Sprout if you like you weeds, but I will end you before you can even grow.” She threatened them with a hiss to the floors and corners of the Second District.
Malum felt an unnatural chill descend upon him, and in a second he placed his arms around himself in an attempt for warmth but the chill persisted. He looked down on the streets, hoping to find the source of a chill. He expected an ice-based heartless of some sort to be producing such a chill but what he saw instead was something he could only call a goddess. The aura given off by her was overwhelming, so much that it would blot out his own and he'd be nothing more than a mouse crawling in the corner.
Malum stood up and looked over the side of the building, trying to find a safe place to jump from. He walked along the side and saw the balcony and cautiously jumped down. He winced as he hit the floor but immediately jumped over the balcony's railing to get down to the floor below. Landing he winced once more, but he stood up and looked toward the aeon of ice. He approached her, hands held up to the side to show he meant no harm and he truly didn't, he doubted he'd even be able to lay a finger on someone such as her.
"Um, h-hello, I'm M-M-Malum Nihil, a p-pleasure to make your a-acquaintance." Malum was tounge-tied, simply being so close to her had made the chill he felt intensify. He felt as if he couldn't say anymore words than a polite hello lest he invoke some unkown fury. Malum held out his hand for a hand shake, but he couldn't stop it from twitching on it's own every several seconds.

Not spotting a heartless, Aphrodite gazed across the district once realizing she never truly lingered here. There were a few shops, but hardly anyone shopping; it was odd and concerning, the vacancy and the silence. The heartless were just as troublesome as the sin spawns; at least she haven’t found any of them here, but she crossed heartless practically everywhere.
Before she could fully lax herself, a thump reached her ears, and the staff she held in her hand was gripped tightly as she posed to cast a thunder spell. A blue mist violently whirled around her like a snow storm defensively like an animal buffing itself up to intimidate. The command never left her lips once her cold blue eyes glared on a human rather than a heartless or a nobody. Her posture was still stiff, but her frown faded away with the blue flurries in realization. She could feel his heart radiating unlike them. He held out his hand cautiously, which snapped her back to awareness. She shifted herself and lowered Sparks as he stuttered his name. To make up for the rude welcome, she reached out to shake his stretched hand; she gave a firm grasp sharing her coolness with him like a wave
“Aphrodite,” she replied politely, “I apologize for the haste anxiety. These worlds aren’t the safest and trusting. Actually I began to think there’s no such thing.”
Her eyes drifted to the corners wondering if any heartless decided to take advantage of any opportune moment, “There always seems to be something afoot. Nonetheless, I pose no threat to the innocent for I’m an Aeon.”
Her focus returned to this innocent, and brows furrowed in wonder, “May I inquire why you were up…,” her eyes drifted upward guessing where he was before dropping down towards, “there? Quite an unlikely place to be…”
She doubted there were shops on the roofs; then again that wouldn’t be the most unusual place.

( I'll be jumping in now if you don't mind )
Taiaz opened the humongous gate-like doors to The Second District; All sorts of bright neon signs could be seen (just like in the First District). A major difference, however, was the fact a humongous cathedral with gorgeous window panes st on the other side of the District. As well as that, there appeared to more alleyways to lead to the different parts of the tiny city. There seemed an unlimited amount of places for exploring.
Taiaz Strode past the fence-like structure near the opening of the Second District, Artiona trotting along-side him in spirit form. He was disdained to see such little flower or fauna, but all the glowing signs were a mystery to him, filling his mind with wonder: What magic powers them? Are they dangerous? Who designed them?
What in the bloody Hel am I supposed to do? I don't even know how to start saving Celtia. The druid pondered to himself. The soft lights and the absence of sound soothed him, a small grin fomring on his lips.
But it was not to last; Artiona's fur bristled, her brand of sorts began to glow, and she bared her teeth, Taiaz! I sense something with an abundance of magical power! Be on your guard!
"Aye." He agreed, and he began wielding his staff defensively. To up his guard further, he uttered a few Latin words, and in a swirl of runes, Artiona became solid. Her fangs gleamed in the illumination, a low growl at the back of her throat.
Advancing slowly, Taiaz neared the building, labeled, "Hotel". He began to hear voices as he neared the entrance. One sounded soothing and apologetic, while the other just sounded a bit pathetic. The green haired boy joked with his familiar, "Sounds like someone just ran into a winter god, with all the stuttering I hear!
Malum could almost feel his body temperature dropping as her hand shook his, he of course tried to shrug off the feeling, not wanting to offend her. He was actually quite happy now, he had someone to talk to, even if it felt cold.
"No, no it's quite fine. After all, this is the second district, it's only natural." Malum spoke a bit more firmly now, any feeling of intimidation gone. The word Aeon confused him though, he knew only of two worlds, his own and where he was now. He payed the word little mind though and simply made sure to remember it for the future, seeing as she said she wouldn't harm innocents.
"Ah, well, it's a bit of an odd answer. I was observing the stars, trying to sort out a problem I've been having..." Malum's words drifted off near the end, seeming to become lost in his thoughts again before he heard a voice aside from his or the Aeon's. He turned his head, to the newcomer and waved half-heartedly at the man.
"So any specific reason you've chosen to visit this area of the town?" Malum's smile returned, as he asked this, hoping he would have a chance to help somebody today.

Natural, he says. She was use to natural hazards, but it doesn't mean she had to admire it. If she would often be harrassed by the black imps, then she better head course for another location. "Despite how natural it is, it seems more hearts like to tread this way."
She could sense the arrival of others, but one was 'unique' say the least. Her head whipped around quickly wondering if she knew who it was, but her hopefulness dropped once spotting an unfamiliar face. It wasn't a canine like Hermes or draconic like Hades. It simply looked ordinary and something far too plain from the likeso f her world. Perhaps this was a new breed? Even if it was, it had an unpolite way of greeting. A sleek dark blue brow arched at the growl, and she hummed curtly at the strangers' presence.
The brows shrugged together in an uncertain manner at the hume's 'greeting'. It seems these children from other worlds weren't blessed to learn proper mannerisms and ettiquette. It was quite concerning for the Aeon; she was unsure if that was to be a joke or something; regardless, she wasn't laughing, but looked perplexed.
"That would be heavily inaccurate for I'm not a male, nor am I a god, but an Aeon. And I suppose that's your Aeon too?" She held back the thought of how unlikely the other aeon's behavior was; it was truly...demeaning in a sense for such eager hostility. "Perhaps you should calm her."
Aphrodite's focus wondered back on Malum with his question, "I was perfecting my teleportation. It's easier to navigate where I've been. But I also do come to this world seeking a map of sorts or any thing of directions. I assumed with all of these inter-worlds activity, one can craft one for me, since I won't be staying here long. I perfer to think of where I'm going before a portal away unless I wish to end up anywhere."
"Do any of you know of any mercator about this world or any other?"
"That would be heavily inaccurate for I'm not a male, nor am I a god, but an Aeon. And I suppose that's your Aeon too?"
When the female voice questioned this, Taiaz's blood froze. It was not of a druids becoming to insult a higher, spiritual being. Not to mention the fact that this "Aeon" seemed didn't seem the kind to have a good sense of humor: This was not how things were planned out in Taiaz's head.
Oh great. THIS is why you should stop trying to be funny. Now you've gone and pissed her off. Artiona telepathically communicated to Taiaz.
Artiona, this is NOT the time for a good manners lesson. Taiaz responded mentally. He hoped and prayed that this being couldn't read minds.
Quickly changing tactics, Taiaz collected himself, trying to think how to word this next phrase. He noticed a young man behind the blue woman wave at him, though he didn't seem to confident either. Gathering his wits, Taiaz apologized, "I am deeply sorry my fair... Aeon? Was it? But you see, I do happen to have quite a mouth, and it seems to get me in trouble whenever I open it."
During the last few sentences, Taiaz looked sideways at his familar, trying to give off the feeling he was not pleased he having his head chewed off while he was already in hot water. Or was it frozen water? This "Aphrodite" just gave off a freezing aura, chilling him to the bone. But she was beautiful; Extremely beautiful.
The druid continued, "And to answer your question, O' powerful Aphrodite, I am not what you call, an "Aeon". I am the druid Taiaz, a mage and friend of the natural world, from a place called Celtia. I know very little other than the fact that I've ended up in this confusing place called "Traverse Town". Once again, I apologize for my rude behavior."
Drawing in his breath, Taiaz awaited Aphrodite's response, and Artiona was shaking with anxiety beside him.
So, another lost soul being dropped in this city of endless night. He had met several others who had been lucky to find their way here, but none of any real interest. He wondered if it were the same for Aphrodite, but decided against asking her, lest memories best buried were brought up.
"So, you're a bit like me then? Tell me, have you been here long?" Malum asked the druid, unflinched by the formality he was giving to the Aeon. Were the Aeon's truly something to fear? Perhaps those on the side of disorder should fear them but the druid seemed to bear no ill will.
Malum's short hope of helping the Aeon were crushed before they began. "I apologize Aphrodite, I know of none that could help you obtain a map of the worlds. Even making one must be quite difficult, one must have a fair knowledge of where the worlds lie." Malum spoke rather down heartedly, almost blaming himself for his inability of being able to help.
In a brief moment of remembrance he spoke a name, "Radiant Garden." A world Malum had heard of, a world of light.
"Um, that name I spoke, I had heard it was a peaceful place and it may have a map of the worlds." Malum's confidence was low and had hoped what he said was true, he would hate to give misleading info to the Aeon.

Slightly confused, the Aeon's brows bundled, "Your mouth brought no trouble; I was merely correcting, since these worlds seem to lack the presence of Aeons unlike Spira. Also please address me as just Aphrodite; I am no god of any kind and perfer to be humble. Also pardon me for the confusion I may have caused, because I know you are not an Aeon; I was refering to your bear," her blues eyes drifted over towards the other. An aeon can differientiate a spirit from a mortal; it would be quite ludacris if she couldn't.
"On my world, Spira, there are the fayths, who produces an external spirit, an Aeon, hene why I thought she may be one as well...but from," she paused trying to remember the world he just named, "Celtia."
Unlike the Aeon on Spira, this spirit he carries with him looked pretty exotic, or rather normal in the eyes of others, since Spira's Aeons were very strange and unique, but particularly common in the world. The Ice Aeon was at peace momentarily to hear that there were spirtual guides amongst the worlds, but her uneasiness began to blossom at her profoudn dead end.
"Radiant Garden you say? I think I've been there before...with my summoner. If I can remember what it looks like I can surely teleport myself there." The Ice Aeon pondered wondering if it would be resourceful to trace back her steps. "If only I can take a gander at the stars and read them myself; ah but life is hardly ever simple. Don't you agree? There always tends to be something; it's as if a pax can easily be short lived."
"So I presume these black fiends are what snatched your homelands from you?" Her eyes glanced back up at the singular sky they all shared, while be distances apart.
Phew; for a moment there I thought I had over done it and would have annoyed Aphrodite. Taiaz communicated to Artiona.
The bear responded, Agreed; But best answer back now before you fall behind in the conversation.
At this time, Aphrodite and Malum, if Taiaz had heard correctly, were discussing something that was completely foreign to the druid, and he wasn't making any sense of it.
Coming in at an appropriate time, Taiaz continued speaking to the Aeon, "Thank you then Aphrodite; I understand. And I only spoke formally for fear of offending you; that, and I had no idea what an Aeon was, as you said but I have an inkling now."
Taiaz couldn't help but notice Artiona looking a bit proud of this title, and he sent a quick message to not let this get to her head.
When Aphrodite asked Taiaz if black creatures destroyed Celtia, he grimaced, and answered, "Those shadow beings took my home, and I have vowed to find a way to restore it. Even at the sacrifice of my life."
Quickly moving on, the druid then addressed Malum "Sorry, Malum was it? Well, I now apologize to you for taking so long to respond to your question; Having a familiar isn't exactly easy, seeing as how I had two conversations going on at once. But to answer your question, I haven't been here for more than one or two days I think. With Luna constantly in the sky, I can't really tell."
Artiona then reached her mind to the Aeon, something that could be done with other familiar spirits on Celtia, and then introduced happily herself to Aphrodite, Hello Aphrodite! I am Artiona, Taiaz's familiar, as he has explained. And from my understanding, we both share extremely strong bond's with our summoners. But all in all, nice to meet you. You as well, Malum."
Taiaz translated this to Malum, doubting the hume (he presumed) could hear what was going on.
(Oh gosh. I'm SO sorry if I screwed up this order >.<! I think we'll all be on the same page shortly {hopefully}.)
Malum nodded his head to the Aphrodite's words. "Maybe so, but if it's worth putting in the effort for it, then maybe it's better that it's not so simple." An odd reasoning but Malum felt it was the right one. After all if everything came simply and you had to put barely an effort into it then it'd be boring. Malum smiled, enjoying himself greatly with these two.
All the joy and mirth building inside Malum disappeared from him with Aphrodite's question. The black creatures, no the Heartless, they held a special position in his heart as things to be destroyed and let no mercy be given.
"Yes, the Heartless, the one's who have taken the worlds of many, leading them either to this town, or into the darkness." Malum spoke with little emotion, his eyes almost devoid of life as he thought back on that day. As his name was called by Taiaz he seemed to snap back once more as he looked over at him.
A mere one or two days? He was shocked to see Taiaz at ease if his stay had only been so long. "No, no it's quite alright. But, would you like to know anything about this world, surely a newcomer to Traverse Town would need some info about this place?"

Looking at the bear, Aphrodite smiled before an unwanted thought clouded her mind, Yes I had a strong bond, yet a summoner he is no longer. He is not my summoner.
She tried to hold back her icy tone, but the fact came out cooly as if it was an obvious statement rather than one that stung her deep in her soul. She just needed time, and everything will be justified.
"Hm," Aphrodite thought over Malum's words; the hearltess had troubled his heart so, and carrying such burden could take its toll on him, "that is true, so things are worthwhile with a struggle, but some times the increase of difficulty can only lead to more suffering...like the worlds I see. Yet it will only make victory the upmost joyous out of any celebration, so as long you have fight in you, there's no need to be so solemn."
She attempted her best in cheering the saddened hearts, but the subjected changed to the districts of this world. Looking about it, Aphrodite would say that she had some memories of this world. This was the very place he had found her again, but outside of the town and into the neighborhood where a blazing fire drove him to call out her name.
Artiona's entire stature softened and with sympathy told Aphrodite, I'm sorry if that's a touchy subject. But I am extremely sorry; Partners should never be separated.
At this point, Taiaz decided that he and his familiar would gain more ground linguistically by having their own conversations, so he responded to Malum, "That's very kind of you Malum, and I think I'll take you up on that offer; I'd packed about 3 or 4 days worth of food for myself (Artiona doesn't really need food), and I'm running out,"
At this, Taiaz pulled out a few bronze coins with characters of various Celtic runes from his world, and continued, "I have no idea the currency here, but I doubt I'll function well without buying food for some nutrients, eh? So how about it; Do you know anyone who's good with money transactions? I don't want be getting ripped off if my runelits are worth more here if that so happens. And I can just tell you're shocked I'm not in shock; Panicking doesn't ever help, so I don't do it. Cooler heads prevail, am I right (sorry Aphrodite, no pun intended)?"
Artiona, still reaching out towards Aphrodite, then noticed that the Aeon seemed to be remembering something, but did not try to dig for personal questions. Instead, something had been bothering Artiona ever since she had exited the portal, Aphrodite, Malum; You both seem pretty knowledgeable about the "Heartless". Is there anything you can fill us in about them? If we're to have any hope of saving Celtia, we need to know what we can do to accomplish this.

Taiaz glanced at Artiona, who's fur suddenly bristled; She turned to her Druid Taiaz! I just sensed another magical presence; this one's also cold... but sinister..."
Taiaz looked at both Aprodite and Malum and quickly explained, "Excuse us; I just remembered something I had to do back in the First District. Bye for now; and may you always be in favor of nature."
With that, Taiaz waved his hand, dismissing Artiona, and staff in hand, marched back to the First District.
I really like Aprhodite; One of the few nicer winter spirits, or in this case Aeon, I've ever met... But Taiaz be careful; I have a bad feeling about this new icey beings. Artiona chided in Taiaz's head. The druid nodded, and then replied, as he opened the gate "Well then; guess there goes my chances of becoming a druid icicle, being on the lookout and all."
Artiona snorted, Taiaz sllightly chuckling as walking through the gate to the First District.
