In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

A week had passed after the incident with Kousei, and Mikael had been spending it at the Third District, trying to clear his mind from all those thoughts. He hadn´t seen Caxnon, Reiho or Tyson enter the district, and Antique was nowhere to be found. Fortunately, Mikael could explore the dangerous and small district with no worries, courtesy of Jadis. Yes, that woman´s darkness had proved to be useful, acting as some sort of repel against the Heartless. The occasional Shadow popped in now and then, but it was not a threat at all.
In front of the Lady and the Tramp fountain, a man meditating, adopting a lotus stance. Warm energy surrounded his body as he breathed slowly, eyes closed. Dark ebony hair covered Mikael´s head, not moving at all and ignoring the wind. He was at peace, at last. "What should I do now? She probably doesn´t want to see me, thanks to Kousei´s comments. I need her to come with me, I´m pretty sure she´s the girl from my dream."
He felt a slight chilly wind facing him, but the man didn´t move. "It´s just that, right? That´s why a worry so much about her. I mean, I barely know her, I don´t think it can be... come on! Ok ok, it might be attraction, or infatuation, but its definately not l-" And he stopped, noticing that the chilly wind was becomming stronger. It wasn´t wind at all; it was an aura. Mikael slowly opened his eyes, wondering who was this newcomer...

"Tsk tsk, there's so much distress in the air, and it isn't caused by the heartless. Now my child Mikael, what seems to be the problem. Since, it seems I'm the main guardian about these districts, you might as well confide in me. After all, there are enough children dwindling in numbers without proper figures to look out for such well-beings...," Jadis spoke out from a little hall the led to another door towards to the child in solitude.
"I can feel distress waving off of you, and others about this world...quite close-by I might add. Hence why I have a feeling you may no why it's spreading, since it infects you as well." Her hand waved causing the water in the fountain stir before freezing solid to form a stronger seat on the fountain's edge.
The young man eyed the woman carefully, recognizing her formal and elegant way of speaking. He smiled, remembering the other reason of him being at Traverse Town. "Evening Jadis, I must have guessed that it was you." Mikael stood up, nodding in respect. He analyzed her words, wondering what was this distress she spoke of. Perhaps... perhaps that meeting with Kousei had caused it? After all, he had left all of them, Caxnon, Reiho, Tyson, Antique and himself, confused.
"If by distress you mean confusion, then I may be able to help you." The man said, leaning on a nearby wall. He glanced at the door leading to the First District before continuing. "Several days ago, a man named Kousei appeared, and his ego was as big as a Norn´s height. I heard that he stole a cup of coffee from a shop, but luckily Caxnon and three other people named Antique, Reiho and Tyson were able to stop him. Moments later I arrived at the coffee shop, where the thief showed his obnoxious comments. He attempted to break each of us emotionally, and he succeeded in breaking Antique and Reiho."
Mikael looked down, wondering if what he was going to say would sound right. "Jadis... remember when you infused that orb of darkness with my body? ...I want to control it, to help others and bring balance to the universe."

"Antque-," her eyes narrowed at the name; someone had dare disturb her apprentice. With her wand in hand, her nail started to scratch against the point sceptar tip. "Kousei was his name...correct; I shall remember that."
She had to go check on Antique soon, and possibly cast a curse or two at this obnoxious imp. If she was to somewhat guide the unstable youth, Jadis might as well discipline them as well.
"Jadis," hearing her name, her eyes, which had darkened with the new information, turned their attention on the lad. A brow arch in curiousity as her lips pursed. It seemed that she was gaining more apprentices by the moment.
"Hm, do you wish to control it or master it. Such terms are totally different. You can control it by simple spells, or you can master it, which means in coming spiritually acquainted with it. The choice is up to you love, and by your answer I shall decide."
"Yes, it´s Kousei." By the way she acted, Mikael could guess that Jadis knew the girl. However, asking about it wouldn´t be wise at all; her expression had darkened, meaning that she wasn´t pleased with the news at all. Indeed, Mikael had to go and search for Antique sooner or later to see if she was ok. After all, one can´t be that safe with a loon as Kousei in the loose.
But that could wait a bit more. Now, would he control it or master it? Something inside him told him to just learn spells, but avoid spiritual contact. However, the other half told him to master the darkness, to tame it and use it to bring back balance. "I think... I think I would like to master it. However, is it possible? I mean, my soul is already one with fire..."
According to his teachers back at Elona, mastering several elements could be unwise. It would be like spliting your soul into two, making it very unstable. Mikael mentally shook these thoughts away from his mind, waiting for Jadis´s reply. After all, she was the magic expert there.

"That's good. There's too many foolish children who seek the easy way out, and I'm far from an easy teacher. Also with a little connection like those small mediocre spells, it can easily be cut off. So you said that you're already acquainted with fire; congratulations you're already aware of your spirit's element. That's one less lesson, we'll have to do. I would like to start teaching as soon as possible, but I can't say I can find it in my heart to do so now."
Jadis then looked at the boy with softened eyes, "Don't take it personally. You aren't my only student; you have already mentioned one of them. I can honestly say that I'm concerned about her. What did this Kousei do to my beloved Antique exactly. Once that I feel calmer about her condition will I commence my teachings."
"Also by the way, with that little snippet of darkness you posses, you should be able to conduct Gravity, so any foe or unwanted personal should be easy to force down. Practice forming it into a ball and expanding it into a dome, you may have to use it on a live target," Whom she meant by was Kousei, because Jadis was trying to decide whether or not to give Antique space or venture after her. She would request Mikael assistance in finding her just in case this Kousei may be prowling around. She would rather trust in him to block him away for Jadis had a short fuse with the thought of him and may turn the fool into a figurine.
After the sorceress began speaking, Mikael looked relieved. She had appearantly accepted to train him in elemental magic! Yes! Objective fulfilled! Plus, she didn't seem to say he couldn't master darkness. The young man's mind began wandering all over the place, thinking about the many combinations he could make with the mastering of both fire and darkness. However, his grin disappeared into a rather serious look as she continued.
"I would like to start teaching as soon as possible, but I can't say I can find it in my heart to do so now. Don't take it personally. You aren't my only student; you have already mentioned one of them. I can honestly say that I'm concerned about her. What did this Kousei do to my beloved Antique exactly. Once that I feel calmer about her condition will I commence my teachings."
"A-Antique..." he muttered, obviously surprised by the news. So Jadis was the girl's "lady"? Wow, he wasn't expecting that. After all, the she-knight didn't seem much of a magic user to him. Mikael's eyes met the sorceress as he sighed, trying to choose the right words. "He harmed her... he broke her. He called her a monster... I tried to put him in his place, but he too managed to slightly break me." The boy looked down, rage traveling through his veins. His eyes had a rather fierce look, a glare full of anger toward Kousei.
"He must pay for what he has done... if you let me, I'll search for him and teach him a lesson." His insides told him to search for the blue haired instead, but his anger wouldn't be silenced. Negative emotions were taking over his mind... darkness was taking over his heart. Mikael then remained silent as the witch explained the Gravity spell. "I will train my skills with that spell, as well as the other one, Magnet. That last one is pretty weak at the moment."
((ABILITY LEARNED: Gravity-: Jadis has began instructing Mikael in the ways of darkness. He is now able to cast a weak Gravity spell (a dark sphere to temporarily flatten all enemies in range and deal damage equal to a fraction of their current HP).))

"And what lesson are you proposing to teach?" Jadis asked lightly, while she slowly raked her nails against her wand. "I think I have the perfect one in mind. All of such knowledge can come in handy, and to make it all the better, I doubt there's anyone existing who can remove it unless they have been learning magic successfully fall longer than I have. Then again, there aren't many who knows deeper magic like I."
"I've decided to not want you to come in harms yay. It seems that this Kousei is heavily inconsiderate; I find Antique a strong woman; even her claymore speaks that, but by actually attacking isn't this one's route. Whether he's weak with swordsmanship and magick, I'm not sure, but he surely is found of unraveling one's mind. I rather you not be his next target."
"Let's see how long he can stand up to me." Jadis rose. "Sadly there's so many children wandering so unwisely; I guess I will have to be a disciplinarian. Try to find Antique, since I can easily find you. I'll just follow the scent of arrogance."
((This probably will be short, sorry! Being Grounded + Posting + Wii Internet + Average Muse = Not impressive posts))
Mikael remained silent, listening to his teacher´s plans of hexing/cursing the thief. Jadis was right; first, he didn´t have a plan to face Kousei. Engaging an opponent with no information about their battle style was a big no-no in the man´s book. Second, Jadis was far more skilled than Mikael, and her wisdom and wits were probably unmatched. Finally giving up, the fire user nodded, agreeing to leave Jadis to handle the thief. Unknown to him, Kousei would be transformed into a shy girl some hours later, courtesy of the witch.
"Fair enough. You will surely make a better job "punishing" him than I would anyway." He sighed, gazing at the First District´s door as a smile took over his face. "And don´t worry, Antique will be a rather easy one to find. You just can´t miss her electric blue hair." Slightly bowing toward the sorceress, Mikael turned around, about to start walking toward the giant door. "Farewell for now, m´lady... unless there is something else for us to speak of?" Truth being spoken, the boy was eager to see Antique once more.

"As of now, no. Don't worry I will find you. You won't be hard to find either," The Ice Witch tapped on her nose before power walking away; she had quick affairs to tend to before seeking out Antique.
