In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Not the best way to start off a morning, but he'd take it.
Reluctantly, Setzer strode off the steps of the Station Tower and onto the platform above the first clock. He climbed easily over the rail and sat on the warm ledge, willing his body to relax. It wasn't that hard to do in Twilight Town.
The sun had already risen, but the clouds still retained the soft pink of morning. Which, all things considered, would have been much nicer to gaze at from on top of the Tower.
The view from the platform didn't block any of the sunlight - just the view of the sky. Which, in essence, was the whole reason he preferred sitting on top of the tower, behind the upper clock. But luck had told him 'not today', and he'd long since learned not argue with chance. Or the coin. That just resulted in him talking to himself, and made him feel a tad less sane than he already was.
He tilted his chin back and closed his eyes, allowing the sun to claim him. Despite the small breakfast in his coat pocket, all hunger at that moment deserted him. Right then was a time for his mind to take superiority over trivial bodily needs.
Today marked his second year in Twilight Town. Two peaceful, warm years since he had found himself in this world with only vague bits and pieces to serve as a memory. He could feel the itch to leave. It was a consistent irritation that plagued his mind, similar to the feeling whenever he had his feet on the ground. Except that bother nearly vanished when he sat on the Tower. The other he had no means of mitigating.
Unless. . .
Setzer flipped the coin.
As it spun through the air, he caught it. His violet eyes stared at the closed fist for a moment. His hair - cut, no longer a long silver mess - stirred in the breeze. A soft sigh.
Without opening his hand, he stuffed the coin back into his pocket.

Who decides what's good luck and bad luck? The person that holds it in his or her grasp. The being decides whether this unexpected occurrence is bad or good.
A Corridor of Darkness opened above the first clock of the tower. Out of it, Isa, the Heartless that decided all luck wasn't so bad. As he walked from the shadows, the darkness shrank away from his physical body but it was there, it always would be. The sun bounced off his electric blue hair sort of bringing out the color.
When he first embraced the darkness completely Isa felt he had been dealt a shit hand. He lost his world, his friends, his life and his light. Was this fair? He thought not. He had done nothing wrong to be attacked with such bad luck. But, as time passed and he learned to accept the darkness as a part of him he began to think of it more as good luck.
He was infatuated with the power that he was able to obtain by falling into the darkness.
Isa noticed a man sitting on the ledge, hand stuffed in his pocket. Now why would any sane man sit up here all by himself.. This thought flashed through his head as he noticed the large cloak that clothed the man. If this was Isa's somebody he would of stayed away and left the man to his own self, unfortunately this was a Heartless. And he saw this as an oppurtunity to try and spread some darkness.
Taking a seat next to the man Isa just looked off into the distance taking in a deep breath to fill his lungs. He had no intentions of starting a conversation, that wasn't his job.
(( I. . . utterly forgot about this. D: Shame on me. ))
After a few moments more of quiet contemplation, Setzer felt another presence on the platform. He was a man who preferred neither solitude nor company - he was social, he enjoyed his alone time, and either way he was content.
However, the new arrival made no attempts at conversation. After yet a few more moments of silence Setzer tilted his head towards the newcomer curiously, one silver brow arched. The first thing he noticed, naturally, was the blazing blue hair. But then the man's aura caught his attention. He couldn't quite place where it was familiar. In that he assumed that his hazy memories held the answers, and he put the observation to rest.
The next thing he realized was that he'd never seen the man before. Twilight Town was small, and as the majority of the population tended to show up for the Struggle Tournament he could recognize most of them by sight. Bright blue hair wasn't easy to forget. True, there were plenty of people who came to the world for a brief visit - but very rarely did one climb the Station Tower.
It wasn't in his nature to pry.
Setzer glanced at the man from the corner of his violet eyes. "You don't seem like much of a sun person," he observed idly, gesturing towards the burning horizon.
Isa continued to stare off into the distance for a few moments before responding with a slight smile, "Well, I guess you could say I'm more of a Darkness kind of guy.
Isa stared at the man and noticed his own Darkness in his heart. Pain, suffering, and loss. Whatever had happened to this man allowed Darkness to enter his heart. The Darkness had been waiting, slowly getting stronger and stronger, for a way to get out. Isa wondered if it was this man who had managed to keep it locked away or another force. Whatever it was Isa held the key and planned on releasing it.
Standing up the Dark No. VII walked towards the tower and leaned against it while scratching a slight itch on his head. "You seem so at ease, at peace up here. Tell me, do you find comfort in being up so high or is that you like to seperate yourself from others? The question was very personal but how else do you get to know someone without asking the deep questions?
The Moonlit Stalker had already set his plan in motion. He was going to make this weak fools heart succumb to the Darkness. But first he had to get to know him. Knowing is half the battle. He thought to himself.
"You know, hanging in Darkness too long will stunt your growth," a voice carried into the air as a figure pulled himself from the service ladder and onto the brickworks of the clock. The teen lifted his head up, revealing deep blue eyes behind a mess of long hair. A thin smile spread across his features as he looked at the two. "And jeez, what's with all the people coming up here lately?"
Not that he was here often, but he knew of the tower. Often a hangout spot for many people, he had come up here before, fleetingly, but had never attached himself to the spot. Now, he stood looking at a Heartless preying on a human with silver hair.
Silver hair... Synthest shivered, remembering Ocean. Ocean, the man who had almost killed him so long ago. His own shadow, a reflection of his destroyed Heart. But Ocean was lain to rest and Syn had nothing more to fear from the Heart Eater. For a moment his heart froze as he remembered his past, the scarlet glare of the assassin, Keyon, and his friends who were probably dead, or had forgotten him, etc.
Then his eyes met the Heartless. It wasn't Elaeus. Damn, Elaeus scared him. The man had complete control over Syn and his abilities. Unfortunately, his crystals and metals were weak to his control, and he was doomed. Elaeus was the one who had shackled him for testing. The dark iron shackle still hung from his left wrist, despite the fact that the chain had been cut. That meant that he could tear this one apart. Isa, right? The flame-wielder couldn't remember his powers right off-hand, but he could take the Dark member. "Perhaps it's better to rest in-between the sun and the moon. Twilight Town really is perfect," he continued, sitting near the two. The Heartless might not recognize him, or he might remember, but it didn't matter. The fact was, as long as he was here, the creature wouldn't hurt the human.
"You seem so at ease, at peace up here. Tell me, do you find comfort in being up so high or is that you like to separate yourself from others?"
Setzer quirked an eyebrow, but laughed softly. "Why would I want to separate myself from others? What a boring life one like that would lead. Indeed, I simply enjoy the view. The proximity to the sky is pleasant."
Oh, all that wasn't said.
At that moment the unspoken thoughts were cut off by the arrival of yet another. Bemused, he silently agreed with the newcomer's query - what was with the Tower's popularity all of a sudden? No matter. Three was a company.
The man's next statement, however, he couldn't entirely come to terms with. Twilight Town, perfect? Perhaps. . . it fit many definitions of 'perfect.' Caught between darkness and light, the world was balanced, peaceful. The slow pace of the world was a haven for the weary traveler, the vibrant and warm colors a sight for sore eyes.
But rarely did a path have a fork, and when it did one would still know how to backtrack and choose the easier path. Grounded and linear. That wasn't his idea of perfect.
"Perhaps," Setzer replied nonchalantly, and left it at that.
A few more lazy heartbeats passed, although the sun never seemed to move from its low-slung place in the sky. After a bit he lightly broke the silence again, this time indirectly asking both of them. "Are you visiting Twilight Town?"
Setzer hadn't seen the other around any more than he had seen the first. There were certain personas that stood out around this town - this man's was one of them.
