In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Shouta rubbed his eyes blearily, feeling exceptionally confused. He felt as though he had quite a fall, but..the beach didn't have holes in it, did it? The last thing he remembered was the pretty waves...no, wait, there was that thing that looked like a large black beach ball. And then, suddenly, he fell?
He realized three things at once. One, waves were pretty. Two, he wasn't lying on sand - something hard, like concrete? Three, he was most definitely not on the beach anymore because there were lights everywhere.
Slowly he pulled himself up from the cold, dirty floor and brushed his dress down. He seemed to be in an - what was that called? He was between the houses. Many houses. Or buildings. Shouta wasn't sure, but he noticed another thing at once - people.
People walking around. Lots and lots of people. Were they all fairies?
And..it was snowing.
Huh? It's the middle of summer..
He looked around, blinked and realized his parents were nowhere to be seen as well. Scooting further backwards into the alley away from the people and lights, he swallowed - where was his parents? Where was he anyway? And why was it snowing? In the middle of summer?
Hoping no one would notice him, he started tapping and touching the walls, wondering if he somehow fell through the sands into this underground town or something.
Snowing as usual. People going about their usual business. Heartless trying to steal hearts. Yup, regular life. Nothing really special about it really. To Sol anyway. Ever since he came to this town, this is what everyday seemed to be like. Man, could this place get any duller?
That was the question that ran through his head as he sniffed the town air. There was a new scent in town. One that didn't really seem human. No, it was different in species, that much Sol could tell. Hm...who could that be?
So he decided to see who was the knew person in town. The scent seemed to be coming from one of the alleys that littered the small town. When he located the alley that the scent was coming from, he looked inside. "Hello? Anyone there? Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you, you can come out you know. I won't bite, honest."
Continuing his trip thorugh Traverse Town, his sleigh glided through the starry sky silently. Gazing down to see if any other individuals were visible, the big man spotted a boy with wolf ears conversing with a completely disoriented looking boy.
Checking his list, Santa identified them as Sol Callaway and Shouta Aisu. Though Sol certainly had some issues, St. Nick gave him the benefit of the doubt, and was more than pleased to give Shouta his present due to his innocence.
The package that contained Sol's present was an shiny green wrapping, with pictures of holly berries and pointsettasas decorating the box; a maroon curly ribbon was attatched to the top as well. Inside the parcel lay an elixer and a mega potion, both peppermint flavored and brewed home made by the missus.
Shouta's present, on the other hand, was a brilliant and flourescent sky blue decorated with snow flakes, it's bow golden. Inside the box lay a unique accesory; an Ever-frost necklace.
In definition, the necklace was supposed to be extremely chilly to the touch, and is normally only known for the beautiful ice prisim that could never melt, on its gold chain. However, Santa knew that Shouta could draw some power from such an item; it was within Shouta's arsenal of abilities to do so. (So his ice attacks strenght would be boosted about 15%. Not to mention it's quite fashionable :3)
Santa attatched parachutes to the packages, and then let them gently float down towards their recievers. St. Nicholas then tapped the reigns to his steeds, and with a jingle from his sleigh, flew off.
Shouta send a wild look at the entrance to the alley, alarmed - someone was there. And he - was - the - only one there..? Eek! Which meant the mystery man was..referring..to him..
What should he do? His parents had said to use his powers to protect himself, but that was from animals and whatnot, not possibly disease carrying people! And he would be hurting the person, and that would be rather mean of him.
..But why did he say he wouldn't bite? Of course he wouldn't bite, people didn't bite. Except into food. Yummy food ♥! Maybe what the person meant was he had food? Considering what he should do, he blinked as he thought he heard a strange, swishing sound.
Before he could react, Shouta realized there were two boxes floating down from the sky. One was drifting slowly straight towards him, as though he was a magnet attracting the box. Alarmed again, he took several steps back and pressed against the cold alley walls, watching as the box insistently floated downwards towards him.
Then he realized it was a parachuted present. There was a rather obvious golden yellow bow and the box was bright blue, with snowflakes so surreally real looking that he briefly wondered if it was the snow that attached itself to the box.
The other box drifted serenely to the entrance of the alley, where Shouta had heard the person call just now.
With a soft thump, the blue present box landed before the boy. Surprised, Shouta looked around - no one else was there except for him - so it must've been meant for him. Delighted, he crouched and patted the dress into a neat circle around him so it wouldn't crease and pulled the bow open.
Lifting the lid, he blinked once and exhaled. Sadly, it wasn't food, but it was actually even better - it was pretty. Really really pretty. It was a gold-chained necklace with a gorgeous ice crystal. It looked really valuable, and Shouta looked around again - surely this wasn't meant for him?
Wishing his parents could see it, he lifted the necklace out of the box and put it on - it felt pleasant, neither cold nor warmth although he didn't realize it was colder then a handful of snow. Standing carefully, he brushed down his dress of snow and looked at the necklace that hung around his neck once more, slightly cheered up by this sudden and unexpected gift.
Recalling the person at the front of the alley, he quickly scooted near the entrance and carefully peeked out, blinking when he saw a boy with wolf ears and a long tail. As well as not having a shirt or shoes. Weird. "Uhm," he murmured, unsure and wishing he was back home with his parents again.
Well it looked like the boy was really shy. Otherwise he wouldn't be backing away from Sol so much. Was he just really nervous or scared? Because Sol could understand if he was. Being thrown into a new world all of a sudden, with no idea how to get back home. That is sure to be a big downer for a lot of people. Especially young guys like this one.
"Hey, don't worry. I won't bite. I just want to help. You look lost so I-what the?" His sentence was soon interrupted by two boxes floating down towards the two boys. Sol caught the green box and opened it up, seeing an elixir and a mega potion inside. "Huh...Wonder who sent these..." It's not every day presents are parachuted down to you.
"Anyway...Hi," he said to the boy, while putting his gifts into his pockets, "So anyway, my name's Sol, and I should probably be the first to say...Welcome to Traverse Town. Your home away from home. So what's your name kid?" he asked the boy, wondering how he would react.
There he went again - the strange, half-naked boy stated he wouldn't bite again. Shouta thought he was weird. Who did he think the ice fairy was - or rather, what? A vegetable? Noodles? Something edible or bitable? He frowned slightly, retracting his head back into the alley and thinking hard. What should he do? He listened to the tailed boy talk again.
My home away from home?
Pout. That meant he really was far away from his parents. What should he do? How should he get back? Darnitdarnitdarnitdarnitdarnit..
Finally, he walked out of the alley, nervously smoothing down his dress and unconsciously doing it again and again. "..I'm Shouta..aaand...I want to go home," he stated. A long pause. The first sentence he ever said to someone who wasn't his parents!
He felt so proud with himself.
"This place is stinky," he pouted, crossing his arms. "Why am I here? There's so many people..oh! And where is your shirt?" he asked quizzically. "And why's there so many lights here?"
He blinked, tottering forward a little past the other male. There were many other houses and shops, and lots of blinking lights. He had never seen so many lights. Except for the stars. Those counted as light. Really. They were bright.
"Did you give me the pretty necklace? It's so pretty!" Shouta rushed on happily, easily distracted once more. He noticed several droplets of water forming on his hand - condensation because he was subconsciously emitting cold again, said his mother once although he didn't understand the first part - and impatiently wiped them on his dress and switching his warmth back on. "Are you a fairy too? Why do you have a tail? And your ears! Are they real? Is everyone here a fairy?"
And he promptly skipped forward and seized the boy's left ear and tail with his hands to feel them.
Sol raised an eyebrow when he saw the boy pout. Well that was a bit new to him. Normally Sol saw people breaking into frowns or tears, never a pout. Guess this kid was more...childish than Sol thought. Then the boy told Sol his name and that he wanted to go home. "Well...hey there Shouta, and uh...how to put this...I know you want to go home, but your kinda stuck here, sorry..." Boy did Sol suck at reassuring people.
Then came the flurry of questions. Geez this kid sounded like a chatter box. So many questions. "Well first this is an alley, so people toss their trash out here, plus a lot of people live here, and I don't wear a shirt cause I don't need one, my body temperature is high enough for me to resist the cold. And finally, it's cause this place is night all the time, so that's why there's so many lights." Boy, he couldn't believe he answered all that.
Sol was okay with it, but he soon got a bit ticked off when the boy started touching his tail and ears. "Uh...no I didn't give it to you...someone else did...and will you please let go of my ears and tail? I'm a werewolf, not a fairy, and it's bugging me when my body parts are touched like that..." he said in the calmest voice he could muster.
Shouta thought thoughtfully. Stuck here..he couldn't go back? Why not? All he had to do was find the beach on this place and look at the black beach ball again. Then he would tumble back home!
It was that easy, right?
He released Sol and jumped back, looking distressed. "Bugs? Ew, bugs."
No, wait, he said bugging, not bugs.
"Oh."
He crossed his arms again, wondering why this Sol guy felt off, different from his parents. Then he blinked - the boy said he was a werewolf, not a fairy! He jumped back again. "Don't bite me don't bite me I don't taste nice I taste like vegetables don't bite me don't bite me!"
His eyes filled with tears as he rapidly realized the magnitude of the situation he was in. "I - I I can't be stuck here," he murmured, starting to panic. "I'll - they'll - what am I supposed to do?"
He turn and ran straight back into the alley, flinging himself at the very solid wall and wincing when he smacked hard against it instead of phasing through. If he came through the walls, surely he could go back! Where was he supposed to stay? What was he supposed to do? What about his parents? Running in place against the wall, he groaned and tried hard to push at the wall again, wailing when the wall didn't let his pass back into his world.
