In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(for timeline reasoning mostly occuring during gummiship building for the Atlantis expedition)
The Zero District was vacant and marvelous for it was wide enough for new innovations. Jadis didn't need permission, since no one owned, claimed, or even goverened this land. The clouds from above blanketed the world preserving its warmth before the greater cold picks up to start construction. The cold was kept in the Zero District; she rather not hear the distressed of frozen gummiblocks tarnished by the cold and rust once it was free from its icy prison.
She sat in an elaborate iced chair that sat at the head of a long rectangular table with iced chairs as well. Snow began to fall as Jadis waited. She was a patient woman...to an extent, but being born and raised a queen and ruler, she surely did distated waiting at someone else's hand and foot. Still this was neccessary; if she skipped steps history could repeat themselves, and there was already a focus of uprising towards these heartless and nobodies. She doesn't need such negative attractions; it was bad for business.
Also with her little chickadees ready to fly south, someone must look after this stronghold, and being who she is, she couldn't stand being this fairy godmother crone that was sought out just to be used. She was born this way, born for leadership and a queendom. This world lacked order; the people roam with danger as their neighbors, while heartless and nobodies come and go as they please causing havoc. The worlds need a rain check, and she was putting her foot down.
Snow in the Zero District. A lone snowflake softly fell through the vast sky. Traveling along with all it's brothers and sisters through this enormous world. But it's travel reached an early end. For the open palm of a gauntlet was held out and caught the ice crystal. The metal greave was cold like it's surrounding. But inside was still a warm hand with blood pulsing through. So the snowflake started to melt into water.
A pale face, framed with thick black locks of hair and deep woodbrown eyes looked down on the melting snowflake in his palm. A breath of vapor escaped from his lips. Raising his gaze upward to the sky, the Wolf Knight took in the newly constructions with awe. Feeling the cold and the whiteness of the snow starting to cover all of the Zero District. Before continuing after this little pause he said softly to himself: "Just like home."
The first one had arrived. Sir Lucas, his silvery platemail armor announced him well before time. The greaves left clear footprints in the thin layer of snow that was caked over the ground. The expression on his face was serious and cold. With resolute steps the broad ironclad male approached the waiting ice witch. At the right distance, Sir Lucas stopped. Bowed and kneels as he formally introduced himself according to old customs. While doing so his deep voice said: "Greetings Milady Jadis, I'll be Sir Lucas Lunaris the VII. I have come on behalf of the Guardians of the Worlds.

Spotting a youth she doesn't recognized stirred Jadis with confusion as her brows dipped slightly connecting the dots, but the sooner he spoke, the quicker she reverted to her cool self and nodded once understanding, "Hmm, how many won't be joining us today?"
She was a busy woman, and time waits for no one. Believing that he may not be able to give her a crystal clear cut answer, she sighed heavily curling vapor from her mouth like an irate dragon, "Well I can't expect busy people to be so timely. I wonder how much my dear Mikhail is lugging around on his shoulders now. Oh well it can't be helped."
Brooding will get her no where, and she knew with the Guardians someone needed to take the initiative and get the ball rolling and keep it moving. Still Jadis continued like plan and gestured towards a chair for Lucas can stir from his structured formality, which she accepted naturally. "Please sit for you are now company. So indulge me what do you know of me? I doubt Mikhail or Max would leave me a represenative who haven't done their homework."
Her long right leg crossed over the other, while her hands rested her knee as she sat straight waiting and silently demanding an answer.
Sir Lucas rose up from his kneeled position and gave another bow of courtesy for the offered chair. Throwing his leather cape aside he took place on the ice sculpted seat. Surprisingly the chair wasn't cold to the touch at all. Still the thick leather and wool paddings underneath the metal armor would be sufficient protection against the biting chill of furniture made out of pure ice.
The scenery reminded him of home. In the barony of Nordenfrosd they have snow ridden winters that last for half a year. With nights 5 times longer then the day. But those dwelling thoughts of home were cut off at the prominent ice witch's question.
He looked upon her with his wood brown eyes. His serious adult face staring coldly as the turning caused his graying black locks to dangle softly. The Wolf Knight tried to think back to his conversation with Mikhail. Remembering what he had said about her. To his own dismay, Sir Lucas remembered that little was said about her.
Taking in breath he spoke with his deep voice on a neutral tone: "In all honesty I must confess I know little about tee, Milady. Only that thou are a Sorceress of great power. And that thou wishes to rule and protect all of Traverse Town. Reinstating thou previous title as Queen. The Guardians of the worlds believe this world would benefit greatly should this goal be achieved. Therefor we offer thou, our assistance, Milady."

"Hmm I doubt it wouldn't be reinstating much at all," she replied with a quirk of humor in her voice. The world was far much smaller than her past kingdoms, "alas being dubbed as the local fairy god mother isn't my cup of tea or modus operandi."
"And since my little seedlings agree with my proposition, I shall not wait any longer. To do this efficiently more then just a verbal agreement is needed. To efficently protect this world, I'll have to connect with it; a mere spell would do, but it's more than a mere enchantment." She would need to perform at set up pentagram at each region of Traverse Town, "and once it complete, this world would be such a network...that a heartless cannot roam without being detected."
The world would have enough trees to contact Jadis with of the on-goings in the world. She doubt she would need a pack of wolves as scouters, but if there aren't enough Guardians around and if they still desired to move, then the witch would need to improvise, "Along with the security, there will be a side-effect, winter. It won't be too foreign to this world, since the cloudless night can bring a chill, but there will be changes nonetheless."
She stood up dragging the train of her dress with her as she pulled a silver vial from her sleeve. With a pop, it was uncorked dropping two drips of fluidy silver as shimmering as unicorn's blood. It spread into a pentacle in a specific direction, and once completed it illuminated a blue before etches slowly spread. Inclining her head a bit in a beckoning motion, ice pertruded from the center of the star as a beacon, "These things won't get done itself. You can join me if you like, since I doubt the audience would get any bigger."
(any Guardians who want in on this, I've discussed it with Ellie. This happens just after the Guardians Meeting in the Third District, and Max would have sent any who want to come along over here with Jadis. In fact, I am entering Max now.)
Max slowly opened the large gates to the Zero District and walked in, his ever present war pike held loosely in his hand. As he entered, he saw the icy furniture, and Sir Lucas and Jadis standing near it. He quickly shouldered the gate closed and strode over to the pair.
"Sorry I'm so late," Max said, giving the pair a nod as he walked up,"We just finished our meeting in the Third District. I had to answer a bunch of questions. It took longer than expected.
"So, Lady Jadis," Max said, turning to the sorceress,"What exactly did you need us for in this endeavor of yours to take Traverse fully under your wing?"
(meh. a little short, but I have a bunch of replies to make. lol.)
Saxen landed his ship just outside the First District and burst inside. "Well, that was an interesting test-flight . . ." he muttered to himself. It was his first time flying his new ship and he wasn't quite used to the new system he had used for it. He didn't have time to worry about that, however, as he was already late to the first meeting that he was to attend here. He started dashing around town trying to find something or someone that he had been told about. Finally, he saw someone that fit a description he had been given. Saxen immediately set to following the guy, but didn't catch up to him until he had reached his destination.
He burst into the area just in time to catch what the man had said. Jadis sounded familiar, so he figured he must have been in the right place. When he looked around, however, he wasn't quite as sure. There was ice and snow . . . in the middle of a town with . . . well . . . no ice or snow. There was a table and chairs made of ice. "Uh . . . what's going on?" he asked, totally clueless aside from the little he had been told . . . which wasn't much.

(Iumies poofing for the weekend)
"It's nice to see you join us Maxwell. Nonetheless of your tardiness, you came at the oppurtune mom-," a brow arched sensing an interruption as dark moss green eyes turned cooly to the new comer. A brow arched, and her head inclined to see him, "Perhaps a greeting would be more appropriate and polite."
He really wasn't in the position to ask questions, but more like answering questions. He had tresspassed and would need to annouce himself not the other way around; the mannerisms of these worlds ceased to amaze the Ice Witch, but etiquette can be taught. Still Jadis held back her bark and her bite, and glanced between Sir Lucas and Maxwell. "Do you either of you know him?"
"Come forth boy, you've already intruded not more damage you can do now except rudeness," she swore to the heavens that these children had a knack for interfering at the wrong timing. To this day, she could never train Mikhail properly without disturbances.
Sir Lucas remained silent at the arrival of Maxwel. The close friend of Mikhail was indeed still in the midst of answering questions as he himself left the meeting and the hut of Merlin. Heading out to the zero district to join Jadis for the greater good of this world.
As Saxen came barging in, in first reaction was to place his hand on the hilt of his longsword. But seeing it was another confused young man, the grip relaxed and left his weapon.
His gaze switched over to Maxwell. Feeling grateful for his presence. If these rituals need to be performed in every district, then the third would prove the most difficult. Sir Lucas remembered his previous ordeal in that area. With the crashed escape pod of the atlantis expedition not so long ago.
Still he now would have to await the development of this newcomer to see when the quest will actually commence.
