In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

He leapt from one white stone monolith to the next, arms extended to keep the golden keyblade in his grasp from knocking against blocks of rubble. The Castle That Never Was seemed nearly as large as a pile of detritus as it did when it floated in the center of the world. But his gaze - which hardly flickered downward so much as to register where he’d land his next leap – was neither drawn by the immensity of the ruin he was traversing nor by the twin shadows in the distance.
The looming darkness was the new castles that split The World That Never Was between two powers. The King continued his ascent, not sparing them a glance. His dark hood had fallen backward with his movement, and his eyes raked the unbroken expanse of night as he traveled upward.
Even before he reached the crest of the broken castle, however, Mickey knew what he would find. The sky would remain dark and empty for as far as he could see. And sure enough, at the top his eyes searched and searched the sky, and then found precisely what he had predicted he would when he first appeared in The World That Never Was to explain the Organization’s return – nothing.
A thin stream of brightness bled from the darkness behind Mickey Mouse. A pulse, and the rivulet of light widened; within moments a silver door stood grandly against the darkness. After a slight waver it solidified. It waited in patient silence for the King.
When finally he noticed its presence and turned, the mouse did not jump, but his brow drew together in a slight frown. He raised a gloved hand.
The Door did not react.
It had no knobs, no keyholes. The King raised his keyblade regardless. The golden teeth were held before the center as if in challenge.
The Door did not react.
After a long moment the great key lowered. Mickey shrugged his hood back over his head and turned to leave.
The mouse turned back around quickly, his eyes widening. Just above his eye level, where the Kingdom Key D had pointed many moments before, a small window was forming. At first it was as if a hole had been carved in the door; Mickey thought he could see the sky on the other side. But then the colors suddenly turned monochromatic, and images flickered as if from a screen, grainy with static.
At first, the King thought the door was showing him a window into Timeless River. However, soon the blur of movement cleared into recognizable shapes, and the setting revealed itself. The grainy image displayed nothing like the black-and-white town where the Cornerstone of Light once lay.
Like he had thought before, he was being shown the sky in The World That Never Was. Unlike the present day expanse before which he now stood, however, in this grayscale replica floated the defeated, torn remains of the synthetic Kingdom Hearts. Hearts fell freely from the warped heart-shaped moon.
There was a flash, and the broken Heart was gone.
The scene went dark. Then a series of scenes began to appear in quick consecutive flashes, each appearing for hardly a second before flitting to the next.
A hand forming in the darkness, an ornate book, a slash of very spikey hair, a burst of electricity, a dark figure on all fours. . . . A man donning a cloak.
Mickey had little time to register his shock before the door shimmered, and then was gone as quickly as it had come. He stood there for a moment longer in confusion. There was no mistaking it – the mysterious door had shown him the Organization returning and, somehow, there was a relation to the disappearance of the synthetic Kingdom Hearts.
Then the King squared his shoulders in resolution. He had to consult Yen Sid on the identity of the door and the meaning of the images, alert the keyblade wielders, round up the Light. There was little left to doubt. The Realms were on the verge of a war where half the battle was gathering the information key to success.
