Welcome to Kingdom Hearts: World Destiny! We are an AU Kingdom Hearts RP with no word count. World Destiny's story takes place post Dream Drop Distance, at which point we make considerable steps in our own story direction. Feel free to check out the Plot link to find out more!

Nightfall: Chapter 2
Two years after the events of Dream Drop Distance, the Darkness became so great that it swallowed the worlds, locking them away within its merciless abyss.
Twilight Town, now covered in eternal night, stands as one of last Sanctuaries of Light. It is where players begin their journey.
Ever resourceful, the Moogles have created a safe place for refugees. They have charged the Denizens of Light with finding Castle Oblivion: it holds a key to the puzzle of the lost worlds.
But within the dark shadows of the sanctuary world a powerful dark force still looms, waiting to strike. Each survivor must choose whether to go to Castle Oblivion or stay behind to protect the world from the dragon that lurks in the shadows.
As a result of the poll and all suggestions given, Sephiroth has created the new rules for character creation FOUND HERE. In addition, a few changes have been made to the other sections of the rules. Please review them ^^.
A few things listed there that should be noted:
1. This new system is on a two-month probationary basis. Should changes be required at the end of the two months, no one will lose any characters gained during them unless there's a good reason for us to do so.
2. All character slots after the fourth are at mod discretion. If we feel you cannot handle a fifth or greater character, we'll approach you with our concerns. You may also approach us at any point on the matter.
3. Is too complicated to reword concisely, so I quote:
"Please do not make original characters that are intended to interact with other original characters you also play. While it will not remain specifically against the rules, unless they have the reason to take up one character slot, it promotes self-interaction and cuts others out of your writing. This can alienate other players. Example would be: - character 1 was created stating character 2 is character 1's sister and mortal enemy. This is fine. - I then create character 2 and play her myself. This ensures I've forced myself to end up centering at least some conversations and interactions around characters I myself own and play, and therefore myself. It automatically cuts out others from either asking to play character 2 themselves, and allowing themselves into my own story, and it also means that others will be just secondary roles any time they interact with me."

I come to question the point called number three. Soo what is its purpose?
was there a major problem before this was made or a waste of space?
I find it highly troublesome that a concept of in-synce charries
are now illegal. it disrupts the creative visions created
by rpers for character's relationships that can only be
perfectly displayed by the creator itself. if a member feels
like third wheel in a tight knit single person expressed personas
then the rper should be held responsible for their misconduct
in a productive communitive rpg not the 'banned concept'.
we are all mature well we all should be mature to not be guided
heavily or have our hands being held away from original
creativity made by the rpers of KH: Destiny
thank-you for reading. if you want shorter words here it is 'that's bullshit'.
Seriously the need to recieve permission is ridiculous.
I think I have won this haiku competition what is the grand prize?
Alright I am done...I would say that someone can only be held responsible for making someone feel like a third wheel if it was heavily intended versus natural occurances. For example, if two sisters are fighting, it's logical that...they won't chatter with any other person so frequently...depending on the scenario...
Now if someone was tooo do something like a former member
I will start the Officially Non-Plot thread and link it here. Any characters may join, with their own plots, and I will incorporate that into the Given Circumstances. Whatever goes into the thread, goes into the thread, however I reserve the right to ignore your posts if they are disruptive, break rules, or otherwise annoy me. This means, if Leon enters the thread and decides to incorporate Crises in a Teakettle into it, I will integrate it, however Sora’s “long-lost twin sister” decides to crash the party, I can and will ignore it.
I like to rp. I play by one set of rules. If those rules aren't clear, here they are:
The issue is with a few people who make characters that are intended to interact almost solely with ones made by the same RPer. It writes other people out or makes them no longer necessary; which erases the need for RP at all. This IS something we've gotten complaints on. In many other RP places I've been to, this practice is called 'selfcesting' and is even a bannable offense. While we'll not ban the RPer for it, we strongly discourage it. Make characters to interact for a collective story, not to write your own story and effectively ignore everyone else for favor of your own pre-decided plots. Let me take an example from a prior site, so as to not name names of prior or current RPers here:
Riska was made as a sister to a pre-existing character, Ivan, I believe his name was. Ivan's history says that Riska knows all the secrets of his past, and losing her lost them all. That much was fine, but the RPer later made Riska as a character, and made a thread with Riska, Ivan and one other person. Ended up talking only about those two characters, and in the end wrote everyone out of the story after they'd met. Nothing else happened, and people grew annoyed.
This has happened with different people here over the course of the site, and will continue to happen. All it causes in the end is annoyance from other RPers, and defeats the purpose of making characters to essentially interact with other characters, not write your own fic at the expense of others. That is what it means.
Edit: Make characters that synchronize with characters made by other people, or get someone else to play said synchronized character. You can even ask to play a character from someone's history or world, and coordinate.
I concur with Seph. I've seen this as a huge problem throughout the history of the site. People make two characters that are meant to pretty much exclusively interact with each other. Now, I'm not talking about, say, Chip and Dale or Pain and Panic who act like two parts of one person (in the latter case, sometimes literally).
And Ellie? I agree that the quoted section you had was out of line of the writer. However, it's related to what this rule is about. The aforementioned RPer was purposefully stating 'I'll ignore you'. What, as Seph calls it 'selfcesting', does is ignore them without the stated intent to do so.
Long story short? If you want to have a story in which your two OCs have happy fun times together in the KH universe to the exclusion of anyone else? Write a fanfic. If you want to have two of your OCs meet and maybe have an adventure or two together alongside fellow RPers? WD's happy to have you.
Tifa, concurring and conferring with Seph is different.
And monologuing is part of what makes role-playing so interesting. A good internal, or even external monologue is important to character development.
Selfcesting is playing with yourself. Which, while it can be fun, ultimately you will have a better time with more people. That's when the action really picks up and you can really slip into your characters. But you don't want to many it will just get confusing and no one will know what they are doing. Three- or Four-some people works well.
There is nothing dirty about the above paragraph. Get your mind out of the gutter.
