To the fellow denizens of Traverse, I inform you that a Heartless was within our mist and attempted a bargain to reclaim this world under his so called lord, Ansem.

I will forwarn you that these Heartless mostly seek to claim hearts, and I won't grant them such activities here. Unfortunately that doesn't mean they won't savage with persistence.

As the guardian of this world, I will admit it isn't my own homeland, yet here I am willingly to defend. I call onto you those who had made a life here to come forth and prepare yourself to defend this world along with the neighboring ones. The Heartless presence here left for other means, which is hardly good, so they will remain nearby.

Come forth to me, and I shall train you. I will not put up with the weak hearted or greed for knowledge for that will only hinder us all.

Come forth, show me your will and talent, and I shall recruit you. Those who serve well I shall remember your name when the Guardian of the Worlds return from their venture. Remaining Guardians who are still present, I advise you to stand for not acting will only bring you shame.

Lastly let me inform you now that Heartless and Nobodies alike are indeed no longer welcomed; even those with the humane faces can cloud their true intentions and nature, and that's not a gamble I'm willingly to take so carelessly. If you spot one inform me immediately, and if I'm am notified that you are hiding a fugitive, then you'll surely get a visit from me.

I think I need to sign Vayne up for some apprenticeship. Poor boy just can't handle what the Dark XII would be throwing at him, so maybe this can get him on the right track to being able to take care of himself.
