Name: Gilgamesh
Nickname: The Legendary Swordsman
Age: 43
Gender: Male
Species: Mutated Human
Position: Neutral Lawful
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills: Master Sword Arts - Gilgamesh being a masterswordsman has learned several styles of attack, some of which could become a long combo or one charged attack the inflict major damage in one fell swoop. Some of these techniques include Death Claw in which he will charge up his weapon with energy and slash through an enemy, though it will not rip them to shreds, Sword Dance in which he unleashes a quick, but tough flurry of sword slashes at his opponent, and Tsubamegaeshi in which he will chase after an aerial target and then use a chain of attacks that ends with him slamming them into the ground.
Gun Arts: Gilgamesh has also learned to use a variety of guns in a unique way such as assault rifles and rocket launchers due to his travels due to being sucked and constantly released from The Rift in many worlds. He is most accustomed to using Rocket Launchers, evening incorporating the technology into his being, modifying his fists to become rocket powered to fire them out at an enemy and then to return to him immediately afterward.
Random Sword Selection: Perhaps Gilgamesh's biggest weakness, due to his large collection of swords, he uses the Rift to call upon a random one whenever he attacks. Some of these have effects that are helpful such as faster rate of attack or a higher chance of dealing critical damage. However, the two biggest swords to note are Excalipoor or Excalibur. Excalibur is his ultimate weapon, however it is rare for him to summon this one unless he is concentrating extremely hard which is hard for him to do in combat. Excalipoor is his worst sword, though he has not thrown it away because it is a rare weapon. This sword deals extremely little damage to the enemy and makes a chocobo squawking sound as one can barely feel it. This ability however, is not activate when Gilgamesh is using his wide variety of guns, which is rare.
Master Warrior: Due to spending several years of training to become the Swordsman he is and the time he has spent in the Rift traveling between worlds to learn even more techniques and abilities. This has given him extraordinary stamina and speed which are his most deadly weapons. His physical strength is also very high as he mainly uses swords in combat. This means his biggest lacking is in magic and as such magic can damage him more than most other forms of attack as he is mostly unaccustomed to magic.
The Rift: When Gilgamesh served a powerful sorcerer, his repeated failures caused his master to banish him to The Rift as punishment. Gilgamesh has spent several years wandering this Rift, never aging to due to it's unique properties, however he can never truly escape it. There are times where he is able to temporarily escape, however it will not last forever and it will suck him back in. This being said, this is how Gilgamesh has been able to travel amongst a large variety of worlds, even though it is not by his own will.
Weapon/Items:Excalibur: Gilgamesh's ultimate weapon, this sword is a legendary weapon that has been spoken of in only legends on most worlds. The sword contains light magic within it, however Gilgamesh does not know how to tap into it as a weapon. The blade alone is very sturdy and made of a very rare material that is some of the most durable in the entire universe. However, Gilgamesh seems to get this weapon confused with Excalipoor most of the time, despite the differences.
Excalipoor: Gilgamesh's weakest and most pitiful weapon, this sword is a poorly made replica of Excalibur and has no unique properties. While this sword "never" breaks, its strength is pitiful as an enemy will rarely even feel this sword cutting them. The weapon makes a squawking sound when it hits someone, the sound resembling that of a chocobo.
Masamune: A very powerful weapon that Gilgamesh found through his travels, this sword was crafted for a master swordsman in the world it came from. While this sword is not as powerful as Excalibur, it does have a unique property of sometimes accelerating Gilgamesh by casting Haste on him. However, Gilgamesh does not know how to tap into this power willingly and it is normally an accident.
Muramasa: The counterpart of Masamune, this sword was found in the ruins of an ancient city that had been destroyed for 1000 Years, when he appeared in that world. This is his fourth most powerful sword, however physically it is not very capable. It's true potential is in its ability to Drain a target of some of it's stamina, making them less able to fight. Like his other swords, Gilgamesh does not know how to tap into this power, however this draining effect seems to activate more often than his other weapons.
Zantetsuken: This sword was apparently not crafted from any human materials, instead using a nail of the God Chaos from a world Gilgamesh had been sent to during his travels in the Rift. This sword is his third most powerful of his arsenal and courses with a deep darkness as it was forged from a part of Chaos itself. This sword is able to inflict several status ailments at random such as Poison, Blind, Slow, etc. However, it can only inflict one at a time and if a new one is inflicted, the old one will be overridden. Like his other swords, Gilgamesh is unable to actively tap into the power of chaos that lies in the heart of the sword.
Bashosen: This sword was crafted by a master blacksmith on Cocoon for Gilgamesh during his travels their to honor his closest companion Enkidu who he had lost in the Rift sometime prior to him appearing there. This weapon contains the markings of Enkidu, which continue unique technology that will always deal lightning based damage. This is his fifth more powerful sword, but also his most commonly used one in order to feel close to his friend.
