In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There was no containing the very wide grin as she found herself in this one simple place. Sure, there was a huge crack along the far edge of the room, and the place looked like it was not exactly in the best of shapes. However...
"This... is... PERFECT!!!" Cora exclaimed as she looked around. "It's dusty, lots of rocks, but I'm no stranger to cleaning up! That furnace could probably be re-fitted to be a synthesis furnace! I could put a bed over here, find me some darts, oh my gosh this dusty sheet will make a GREAT blanket!" She grabbed the sheet and shook it as best as she could, trying to get as much dust off of it as she could.
"It is now decided!" She declared, the sheet rolled up into a ball as she pointed dramatically into the air, "Until I have concluded my search on this world, this place shall now henceforth be my new home!!! Hey, maybe I should set up a business! Wait, didn't I see a few Moogle shops on the way here?" She let out a very excited gasp. "I wonder if they're looking for help! I could get employment, make deliveries for them! If not, maybe I can set up my own delivery shop? Oh... my... gosh... that's a great idea! Open my own delivery shop! I just need to get the hang of the lay of the land, figure out where everything and everyone should be and I'll be making deliveries in no time! This is going to be awesome!" Using the bunched up sheet as a cushion for her head, she excitedly fell to her back. Not once since she found this place did her grin ever leave.
"This is going to be the best... hang out... ever!" she exclaimed at last.

(I hope you don't mind my posting here, since it is open)
Esme was the type of person to lurk in the alley ways and hide in the dark, merely due to her nature as a Nobody. Experiences left her with some emotion, true, but by-large she still didn't interact with people. She only stopped because she heard the voice of a child. Tall, well-dressed figure giving a few moments of pause to listen, and finally investigate, trying to remain unseen for as long as possible.
Should she not be seen, moving as quietly as she did, she'd lift a book up from a bag on her waist, and set it silently down on the ground on the way out. A fantasy novel of some kind, but if the kid was going to be using the area, Esme figured they'd probably need some form of entertainment in their downtime. She didn't know what compelled her to think that, but she did. And left it at that.
If she had been seen, the book dropping would be much more flustered, fumbling with it, letting it fall from her hands, before ultimately turning and using her long-legs to carry herself swiftly away.

Books contain so many thoughts and ideals, Who are we to say some cannot be real?

((I have absolutely no qualms! ^_^. So long as fun is being had. To be honest, mostly I made this post because my Cora muse wanted this place before anyone else could claim it. Oh, did you have something in mind with the fantasy novel, or is it alright if I make stuff up as I go?))
"So I need to get the lay of the land, find all the best routes, figure out all the ways people generally travel so I can avoid them. Sure I'm subjecting myself to meeting people already, but I am not yet ready to actively talk to-"
Someone is here... the wind would suddenly whisper.
In a flash of moment, she popped up and rushed to the side of the furnace. Cora did not see who was there with her. She just knew that she had to hide before she was noticed.
There was a pretty long pause, however, and before long her senses told her that she was alone again. With a sigh of relief, she came out to investigate.
No one in the room... What do you think, Mana?
Maybe outside?
Guess I could check...
She stepped out to see what she could find. She only managed to catch a glimpse of a very tall woman before her eyes turned to the book on the ground. Cautiously, she picked up the book and gave it a good look, trying to decide why it was there to begin with.

(Feel free to make stuff up as you go~. I also apologize for small posts.)
Esme wasn't that skilled yet, to be frank. The other noticing her didn't mean she noticed them noticing, if that made any sense. She dropped off the book without incident, however, and continued on her way out of the alley, sticking to the shadows, and away from people as she normally did. It wasn't often that people got the drop on her after all.
But, she did have plans to return to drop off other things, if she noticed the book had been accepted. She was by nature a helpful person toward the young, ever since....well. The past was the past. She couldn't change it.

Well, this is perplexing... Thought Cora as she looked back up. By that time, whoever the tall woman was, they were gone.
Was this book hers?
Should we try to track her?
I think she's long gone by now, Mana
Well, she couldn't have gone far.
In this twisty maze of a city? Plus, I seriously don't want to talk to a stranger right now. And I don't wanna find out the hard way that there are more traps to fall into... Remember the train station?
Well, you did make a new friend out of it. Okay, just hang onto the book. Maybe she'll come back for it.
Cora looked at the book a second time. Titan Knight. It sounded more like the title for a comic book then a fantasy Novel.
"Well, until they do, I hope they don't mind me reading it in the mean time. I should have packed more than five books. Alright, we'll read a chapter then get to work cleaning the place!"
That said, she left inside to get comfortable. A few moments later, she came out and left a note on the wall.
It read: "To whoever lost a book called Titan Knight. I found it. I'm inside. Feel free to claim it if you want it back.
A few moments later, and she came out to leave another note.
"It's a really good book. I'm on chapter five right now! Sorry, couldn't help myself. It's hard to put down."
