In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

In general, a quest-related Plot Thread encompasses events started by Staff members, in association with possible events involving World Destiny’s current plot. They tend to have finite beginnings and endings and will typically only be open for a limited amount of time. Active participation is vital to these threads, and if a member becomes too inactive he or she may be skipped to keep the rest of the story progressing. If they have begun a thread and then gotten busy with life a for a turn or two, even if they’re skipped they will still receive credit for the thread.
A turn skip should not be administered unless the member has failed to post for two weeks straight and has failed to give notification of why they will be able to post again.
ALL Plot Threads are required to have a Team Leader whose responsibility it is to post a thread synopsis to the Quest Thread (basically giving the Quest Giver feedback) upon successful completion. After the synopsis has been posted to the corresponding Plot Thread, the Moogles will divvy out the rewards.
Plot Thread Synopsis guide (edit as desired, as long as the key points are there for the Quest Giver): Synopsis:
ALL Quest Threads require participants to sign up in the Quest Giver’s Thread before entering an event.
Unless clearly specified, it will be up to the RPers signing up for quests to:
Create the threads
Complete the goals noted on the Quest Thread.
Types of Plot threads include:
Open Threads: These threads will remain open to new participants for as long as the current quest or event is still in process.
Team Threads: These are threads in which a certain amount of team members are needed before the event may begin. The typical number will probably be between 3 and 7, though it will be up to the Staff to make a final decision on a thread-by-thread basis. We will simply make a judgement call as needed.
