In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

After being pinned up inside a makeshift hospital for a few days it was nice to finally be out in the open air. Of course even now her medical aid requested she avoid strenuous labor. And well, these little tasks the Moogles had her on were far from the most strenuous.
Being the busybody that she was, Era could hardly sit still for very long. Especially now. It was just days ago that she had had such a good conversation with Marmadue: and that dream she had spoken to him had come so alive when she spoke with him. Maybe it wouldn't be what it used to be, but rebuilding the worlds? Building up the Light to oppose the Darkness? The endless opportunity to build a world of beauty and kindness - it was such an exciting prospect!
The main path along Station Heights was mostly clean, a few more sweeps to go!
Swish. Swish. Swish.
"That's it! Looks good!" The young woman's pride was evident in the way she straightened her posture and her hands curling into fists, resting on her hips. It was nice to admire one's work: and considering the trash heap this place looked like just hours ago, before moving loose debris, cleaning up broken pots and trash, and giving the place a good sweep, well, she had a right to be prideful!
The back of one wrist wiped her forehead. She had only done easy work, but it was still work! There was nothing better to make someone feel good about themselves than a little work. And with all of it she'd done, some rest to compensate was justly deserved.
Leaning one arm over the top of the broomstick to steady it, she found her mind wandering.
A frosted-caribbean gaze drifted up to the broken moon: it was the sort of scene out of a Fairytale. The purple sky seemed ominous, yes. A few blue clouds rolled below the shattered moon. Very few stars were left, and in all reality, the sky seemed so much more vast. So much more empty... It left a lot of room for improvement. And maybe some day, with enough good people and hard work, they could hang all those stars back up in the sky.
Now moving debris and sweeping streets didn't really feel like the stuff of legend, but sometimes great things came from humble beginnings. For a moment she let that thought tarry in her mind, her attention set on the clouds that drifted slowly beneath the fractured moon.
A cool breeze softly played in her forward-swept orange mess of hair. And carried on the wings of it was a small chill. At first it felt good, cooling her off. But it hung over the atmosphere and settled in. The dark alley had seemed a bit more uneasy. Maybe it was just her nerves playing tricks on her.
Her attention lingered on the sky for a second longer, and then she flicked here eyes back down to the streets, supposing it was best to go ahead back to the town center. Maybe a glass of water was in order. But there, in the corner of her eye -- she snapped her gaze in that direction, catching the familiar glimpse of two small golden orbs that twitched in unison. Heartless! They were the first she'd seen since her arrival in Twilight Town: although it wasn't surprising, considering she'd been trapped in magic cryostasis since the destruction of the worlds.
A grin cracked across her lips. Let's see how rusty I've become. With the broom in her right hand, she opened the palm of her left, summoning up one of her Soul Reapers. A crackle of ice began to snap into existence, forming the beginning of her weapon. A bright flash ran up the light crystalline structure and the icy webbing snapped loudly, shattering into pieces.
Well, this was unexpected. Maybe I'm more rusty than I thought! She focused her energy harder. Again, Black Ice shattered before it could manifest a Reaper. If they refused to come, perhaps she would have to go without them.
She focused her attention on the enemy she had seen before, and she switched hands, getting a good grip on the broom with her left just as the Shadow took a dive in her direction. She swung, fast and hard, using her momentum to slide out of the way as she flung the little Heartless to the right.
She was still moving as another Shadow swiped for her, and she had barely gotten out of the way of most of its attack. It managed to tear a small cut across her arm, but Era was no coward. She would fight these creatures with everything she had, so help her!
The more pressing concern to her, was why her shadow-blades would not come when they'd been summoned...
Ah well, she could think on that later. For now, it was time to fight!

A small sigh escaped Fumiya's lips as he finished up the work he'd be told to do. While odd jobs and menial tasks such as these weren't exactly enjoyable, they helped pass the time spent here plus helping people is a rewarding feeling in and of itself! Fuu also felt like he was somewhat obligated to help out around the town; it seemed to be going through a rough time and, while he didn't really have a choice, he was a resident of this town like anyone else. For now, at least.
"There anything else you'd like me to do?" The boy inquired of the man he'd just finished helping, but the man didn't come up with anything. Knowing he'd have to look elsewhere for more things to pass the time, Fuu turned to go grab his jacket he'd left laying on a box nearby. Just as he reached it, the man called out to him, "If you're looking for more to do, I saw someone over at Station Heights doing something. Perhaps they could use a hand."
"Oh, thanks! I'll go check it out!" And with that, Fumiya grabbed his jacket and flung it on as he took off towards Station Heights.
Purplish tones passed both to the side and underfoot, in the forms of buildings and brick paths. What first felt foreign had become fairly familiar for Fuu. As such, he could let his thoughts roam free without need to focus on navigation. Said wandering thoughts landed on what he might end up having to do upon his arrival at the Heights. Not that it mattered all that much, he'd happily do whatever was required of him.
'It's probably just some more clean up..' It was a likely conclusion given most of his recent tasks were the same. He wasn't there to see them, but he could tell this town had definitely seen better days. Not just the town though, the sky above it seemed devoid of anything besides the lonely moon. Fuu remembered a far more starry sky, but perhaps that was just the sky where he was from, not this one. The lack of stars aside, a place locked in perpetual night didn't seem like the type of place you'd find a town like this one.
Fuu's thoughts were interrupted as he had to land at the bottom of the small staircase he leapt down. He rounded the following corner, and found himself at his destination, Station Heights. His pace slowed to that of a walk, as he made his way along the surprisingly clean pathway. It appeared as though whoever was cleaning this place up had already finished. Just as he was admiring their handiwork, Fuu spotted an orange haired someone up ahead, and it didn't appear as though they were alone.
Seeing the Heartless attacking someone, Fumiya broke out into a sprint towards the shadowy creatures, readying his right hand. A second later a transparent barrier, the edges slightly blurring vision, appeared behind the girl Fuu was headed towards. The shield disappeared only a few seconds later, but not before absorbing a hit from an attacking Shadow. Hopefully, if it worked right, that hit the barrier took would cause the girl to feel a little bit stronger for a brief moment. Unfortunately, this was about all he could do for now as Fuu was unable to do much in the way of attacking the Heartless, and quick scan of the area didn't reveal anything he could use as a weapon immediately.
"Are you expecting bit of an unclean fight?" He called out to the girl, gesturing towards the broom. "I don't suppose there's another one of those around here somewhere though!"
The young female shuffled her feet, pivoting with her heel to lock into a more solid stance before swinging the broom pole straight into one of the little black pests. It connected across the stomach and sent the first flying, only for another to land on top of the stick. She was preoccupied dodging a scratching attack from the Shadow right in front of her to notice another foul creature lunging at her from behind.
Someone was running at her: in a brief second she could tell he meant her no harm: for one he was unarmed, but more strongly than that: Era could almost sense his aura: one that spoke of a friend rather than of danger. Fuumiya flung a protective ward right behind her, and just in time. As Era turned her wrists and flung the Shadow directly before her right off its perch, her attention snapped over to the creature behind her a second before it collided with the barrier spell.
Those frost colored eyes snapped over to the newcomer and she happily chirped: “Thanks for the save!”.
Was she expecting an unclean fight? Oh — it must have been a reference to her broom! She cracked a mischievous smile. “It might be just a l-i-i-i-ttle dirtier than I originally planned. See—“ One hand let go of the broom and she snapped her wrist out again, trying to summon up one of her shadowy weapons. “I can’t seem to summon up my—“ the atmosphere around her arms popped and crackled with a bright light, and then an icy web jolted outward, from which shadows coiled and danced along it until one of her Harvesters had snapped its way into reality. "Oh."
The ginger blinked in confused surprise. She couldn’t get it to come in before, and now, the Harvester was summoned up much more hastily than usual: and it felt light, and just a little weak. _You haven’t got the time to think about that. There are Heartless around!_ Her mind pulled her back into the playing field. It seemed Fuu to need a weapon, so she tossed him the broom, turning her attention back on the three Heartless that had just about regrouped for another assault. “Well then,” A playful determination lit her features as she turned on the Shadows once again. “Looks like we’re back in business!”
Now that they had two weapons, well, it looked like they could even the odds! Era would continue to fight alongside Fuu: if all went well, until they had successfully cleared the area of immediate threat.

'Man, that's cool..' Watching the summoning of the girl's blade took Fuu's attention away from his surroundings for a moment, so much so that he almost failed to notice the broom flying towards him. Luckily though, he snapped back in time to see it. After removing his jacket, allowing it to fall to the floor, and taking a couple steps forward Fuu caught the broom. He then continued to move closer to his ally for this fight. He still wasn't quite sure how much help he'd be, or if this girl even needed help at all as with her newly summoned weapon, she seemed more than capable of dealing with the few enemies. However this wouldn't stop Fumiya from doing what he could to back her up!
"How come you couldn't have brought that out earlier?" He queried, as he came up next to the young woman, judging from what she'd just said there must have been some reason for it. "Seems like we'll get this swept up quick now anyway. Name's Fumiya, by the way."
The boy wasn't certain how much he could accomplish with just the broom, it wasn't exactly designed for fighting monsters, of course. Perhaps he should just stay on the defensive, and allow the person wielding a proper weapon to do the damage. That was what he felt best suited for, at least. All the while Fuu had a close eye on the foes before him, and focused his energy to his left hand, getting ready to pull up a barrier the moment one of the Heartless made a move.
It was a very short wait, as the three Shadows all jumped towards the duo in unison. Fumiya quickly created his barrier between two of them and his newfound ally, in attempt to block the assault. The shield managed to repel both hits, and sent the two Heartless flying onto their backs. The third, however, was headed straight towards Fuu! The boy did his best to duck to his side out of the way but, with the limited time he had after casting his barrier, was unsuccessful. Taking a small slash across his shoulder, Fumiya winced, but this was nothing he wasn't used to.
A retaliation was in order, it would seem! In one swift motion, Fuu stood up straight once more, whilst swinging the broom upwards trying to launch the Shadow towards its comrades. The strike connected, and the Heartless was launched in the general direction of the two knocked down previously. Hopefully it was enough. Fumiya had little experience actually fighting these things, so he wasn't sure exactly how much it would take, but he'd give all that was needed!
Era stayed on guard, prepared to block any attacks that may have come at them while Fuu took the lead for a few rounds. She focussed on the area around them, keeping her attention ready, and allowing her fresh battle partner to throw a few attacks of his own. Her grip tightened on the hilt of the single blade in her hand.
And in a few quick moments he was ready to trade off. Fuu hardly had time to finish speaking before Era bolted into action. She fearlessly charged at the three dazed Heartless. Three swings of her blade met their targets in quick succession. Fumiya was the one who had done the real damage here. Era had only landed the final blows. One after another, the little creatures became puffs of black smoke. Each little cloud was quick to dissipate, and in moments the eerie atmosphere around them had lightened up and returned to normal.
Giving the empty plateau one last look-over, Era finally decided it was safe to relinquish her Harvester. She closed her eyes, mentally releasing her hold. The weapon dropped from her grasp, bouncing off the pavement before shattering into hundreds of inverse sparkles.
Frost blue eyes drifted back over to the newcomer and the girl cracked a smile. "Thanks for the help," she chirped happily. That gaze didn't linger on him long. It took to drifting over the walkway she had only just cleaned. The creatures had kicked up a few rocks in their skirmish, scattering some pebbles and small stones back across the freshly cleaned surroundings. She couldn't help but giggle at the thought. It didn't seem to bother her, it was just a little ironic, and taken as such. "Well, so much for keeping the place clean."
With his job done, Fumiya watched as the girl disposed of the three Heartless with apparent ease and, in doing so, ended their brief spell of combat. A quick glance of his surroundings revealed no more enemies, letting him relax once again. It seemed he wasn't the only one too, as the weapon the girl had summoned disappeared as quickly as it appeared. 'Man, that thing really is cool!'
His eyes, previously affixed to the remnants of the blade, returned to the young lady as she spoke. Now actually having the time to look at her, she appeared as though she likely wasn't much older than him, if at all. And she looked shorter than him too, surprisingly! That's definitely not something he's used to. Another thing on the boy's mind was how the girl's weapon didn't really "fit" her exactly. Based on first impressions, she seemed to be a cheerful upbeat girl, but that blade gave off the opposite vibe. Maybe she just thought it looked cool. Fuu wasn't about to complain. It sure did look pretty cool.
"No problem! You're the one who did the damage anyway," he responded, in a similarly happy tone. A quick scan of the area proved what the girl said to be true also, the small bout really had made a bit of a mess. Fuu caught sight of his jacket on the ground nearby, having been dumped there earlier in a hurry, and sauntered over to pick it up. Laying the broom down to free up his hands, he dusted off his jacket and tied it around his waist, out of the way.
Broom back in hand, it was time to clean! That is why he originally came here, after all. While the mess was only small, and may not have been entirely his own creation, it would be a shame not to leave the place as spotless as it was when he first arrived. Fumiya looked back over to the girl and grinned, "It'll be clean again in no time!"
Well, it was probably time to roll up those sleeves and get to work again! She smiled back at Fumiya, at first with the intent to help clean it up again. But then, she had remembered her wounds, and the request of her hosts and of Marmadue - to take it slow and get some rest. Even if she had been feeling pretty well, there was a bit of warmth and a few small throbs of pain coming from the various points where she'd been healing. Maybe it was best to accept the help, and just rest for a minute?
Her warm smile was on Fumiya, a happy giggle rolling free from her throat. "Thanks for the help," she hummed, pulling herself onto a flat stone ledge and resting against some of the larger slabs of rubble. "That was my first heartless encounter after I woke up from the battle; I was having trouble summoning my weapons. I think it might be because I'm still injured, but I dunno. So I'm gonna rest for a minute. If there's more to do once I've had a breather, I'll be happy to do that too."
Her gaze turned to the shattered moon. It was beautiful in its own crumbling way. A few clouds rolled across the bottom of it, drifting easily on the soft breeze. And then she'd realized that they hadn't yet had a formal introduction. Her attention was once again back on the new ally she'd met. One of her legs hung off the ledge of the large rubble slab, and it swayed idly in her content mood. "I'm Era by the way."
A good sweep was all the place really needed to clear up the aftermath of the short encounter, all the hard work had been done before Fuu had even got there. It was nothing Fumiya couldn't do himself, and from the sounds of it Era could definitely use a rest especially if she'd cleaned this whole place up herself to begin with. He beamed at his new acquaintance, "Don't worry about it, you rest as long as you need! I can handle the clean up. Besides, it seems like you did all the cleaning before I arrived, I gotta help somehow."
Realising, with the girl's introduction, that his own was a tad bit rushed, the boy figured he should do it again, but properly this time. "I think I mentioned it earlier, my name is Fumiya, but you can call me Fuu. It's nice to meet you, Era!"
Proceeding to sweep away, Fuu's thoughts were locked on a couple things Era had just said. She was injured? She sure didn't appear very injured, and she definitely handled herself well for someone not at full strength. Another thing was the battle she'd mentioned, what battle did she mean? The boy was still new to the world so he still knew little about what had been going on. But that did mean he had questions! Lots of questions! And questions mean conversation. Conversation Fuu would rather enjoy, as it would give him something to do alongside the menial brushwork he'd taken responsibility for.
This girl had intrigued Fumiya, there were quite a few things he could ask her, so obviously he decided it best to start with the most important one; he asked with an almost childlike enthusiasm in his voice, "That weapon was super cool! Does it have a name?"
Now that he said it again, she had remembered his name. Fumiya, she reminded herself. She would commit it to memory. She had remembered his long name, but if he preferred the shorter version, she would just call him that. “It's nice to officially meet you too, Fuu." She mused.
She would make sure that in due time, she thanked him for coming in with that shield when he had. Fumiya had definitely saved her from having to sustain a few more injuries! But it seemed he had more on his mind, and she was right to wait a moment.
Her weapon? She blinked. Having been so close to it - and having seen so many curious weapons in her life time, and back on Spira, she didn’t really think much of it. But come to think of it, the Harvesters were a little odd. “They’re called Soul Harvesters.” She hadn’t really stopped to contemplate it before, but the words felt so dark - and even a little wrong - coming from her mouth. Her weapons really were the last lingering fragment of a darker time. Maybe the reason the words felt so funny coming from her mouth more firmly reflected the change going on inside her heart.
And maybe it wasn’t impossible to assume that this was the very same reason she was having trouble summoning the blades today. After all, even when she tried, she could only forcibly summon one of them. But all that conjecture was all a rabbit-trail.
Returning to the conversation at present, she cracked her lips in a gentle smile. “Kind of a dark sounding name, isn’t it?”
Her mind gave several flashbacks to waking up on that dark, abandoned island. To Rayth. To the torrents of confusion and anger that roared inside of her when she had first awakened. “They were given to me back when I worked for someone bad.” Yeah, that was the best way to describe it.
Now of course Era didn’t have a clean slate: she still had sins to repent for. If her time since her awakening had taught her anything, she wasn’t about to let the Darkness define her. “But that was a different time; and I was a different person.” Saying it like that sure made her recent summoning problems make a lot more sense. Now with Era, these statements weren’t enough to dampen the mood. There was no weight to it - she didn’t seem like she had a problem accepting that people had Darkness within them: and it wasn’t enough to sour a good mood.
Instead, she would keep the conversation rolling. “What about your barrier? What kind of magic is that?”
Of course if he had more questions for her, she would answer them in stride.
Post by Fumiya Ouma on Jun 15, 2018 14:33:54 GMT -4
"Soul Harvesters, huh? That’s kinda fitting, I guess! For the weapons that is, not so much for you, I’d say." Albeit he still didn’t know much about his new acquaintance, so this assumption wasn’t based off of much. "But they sure do get the job done well, regardless of if the name fits or not, and that's what matters most!"
Now Fuu naturally had some follow up questions for her, but those would have to wait for another time. After all, he was still just getting to know Era, he didn’t want to pry into her history too much. On top of that, she’d just asked Fuu a question in return! His magic wasn’t something he’d put too much thought into in recent years, he knew very little of the nature of his powers, and even less so of the origins. Only that if he put his mind to it, then he could protect people with it!
Fumiya stopped sweeping and pondered for a moment, his face getting a bit more serious, before answering, "Aside from being able to create barriers of a couple variants, I really don’t know much about my magic. I’ve been able to make the shields for as long as I can remember; I didn’t always want to, but now I’m all about it! I really want to make them stronger too, but I’m really not sure how to go about doing that effectively just yet."
The boy paused briefly, and his grin returned as if it had never left, "Sorry that didn’t really answer your question. If you’d like to ask another, I’ll do my best to answer it better!" Of course, with having questions he wanted to ask, it would only be fair for him to answer questions himself in turn, he didn't want to be the only one getting to know the other.
With that, Fuu returned to his menial sweeping, his attention was still more affixed on Era than what he was actually doing though. It was nice having someone to have a good conversation with.
Era giggled. “I think you answered just fine.” It wasn’t like there was a special friendship guideline for how somebody had to answer a question. “Using shield magic really makes you an asset,” she mused. “I’ll bet you have lots of friends.” After all, who wouldn’t want to fight alongside someone who could so effectively protect them?
But something Fuu said had her thinking. The Harvesters really didn’t fit her personality, did they? Not anymore. It was Era who had been steadily changing since Rook first passed the Light magic through her. That first time she had used Guard Light, the magic left a positive taint on her heart. Perhaps the reason she couldn’t summon the Harvesters very well, was because her Heart had changed.
“After we collect the munny for this job, what do you say we take a break for a snack and some water?” Her positivity was warming. It perhaps might have left a happy feeling within Fumiya. Her hands tucked behind her back as she began to walk. Their task had been done. “Maybe after that, we could find a place to do some target practice.” She wasn’t out of ideas yet. Maybe this was just an essential step into the transition into something new. Maybe if her heart changed, she could get her weapons to as well.
Or maybe she was just an unrealistic, starry-eyed dreamer.

Lots of friends, she said? While her line of thought did make plenty of sense, Fuu had never really paid much mind to it. He was far from popular for most of his life, quite the opposite in fact. Even more recently, he'd never thought of himself as having lots of friends, and those he did have were in no way due to his magic. Then again, there wasn't much call for his shields back then. Though, hopefully they'd come to help him earn more friendships here, given the local circumstances.
The boy's face drifted skyward as he thought about the fates of his friends from home. Did they also wake up somewhere foreign? They didn't seem to have shown up here, or at least he'd never run into any of them, which you'd think he would've were they here. Maybe he was just the lucky one? Or maybe there were more places like this one? But now wasn't the time for thoughts like these! Now was a time to make new friends! He'd surely find his old friends eventually, with enough time spent searching.
Shaking his head of those questions, Fumiya turned his attention back to Era. Her suggestions of food made him realise that he could definitely do with some, so getting a snack sounded like a great idea. He matched the girl's pace at her side, and cheerfully responded. "I'll have to take you up on that offer! But I'd say the munny goes to you. You did all the work, after all!"
Perhaps not entirely truthful, but she had done all the hard work before Fuu had even arrived, so it only seemed right. As for her follow up plan, he wasn't about to decline an idea such as that. Plus, it very well could be a great way to develop a new friendship! "Target practice sounds like a excellent plan too! I haven't had too much chance to do something like that since waking up here, so it'll be good for me, and fun! Just lead the way!"
It was nice to make friends so easily. Fumiya seemed like a pretty cool guy! Era considered herself lucky to have met so many wonderful souls on her journey. She didn't know this guy very well, but she had a feeling he was going to be a pretty good friend too.
She led him back to the poster board, then swept the job flyer off its anchors to indicate the work they had both just done. Then it was off to collect! It wasn't a lot, but it was better than nothing. And any change was better than none!
There was a small cafeteria down at the lower end of the Market Street: shambles of its former glory, but it still provided an occasional citizen with some scraps scrounged up where the owner could find some. Era would trade her cash for a couple small glasses of water, and one of about five of the tiny meals the owner had available.
She happily took the dusty purple cloth napkin that contained the food, wrapping it in her fingers as she carefully headed over to one of the blankets along the floor that acted as a table-space. It was kind of like a picnic! She set the cloth down, unfolded the napkin and looked at the parcels inside: there was a small fruit, a couple of nuts and some fruit leather.
Glacial blue eyes beamed over to Fumiya and Era warmly smiled. There was something welcoming about her presence: something that indicated to those she met that deep inside of her, there was a light. "So what's your home like?" She didn't want to depress him. Perhaps her worldview was just a little different. In her perspective, they would get out of this. The worlds weren't necessarily all the way gone. The universe wasn't lost. She wasn't sure how, but she knew they would. To her, home wasn't a thing lost. It was just, well... more like a thing to aspire to: another reason in the darkened dust of this world, to have hope.

Sitting himself down on the blanket Era had picked out, Fumiya watched as the girl opened up the cloth containing their food. There wasn't much, but that's what he'd come to expect around here. He wasn't about to complain though, something is better than nothing! The boy hesitated to take any initially however, opting to allow his friend first choice. She did pay for it, after all. Fuu instead reached for his glass of water, taking a sip, readying himself for the question he'd just been asked.
"My home? Uhh.." The question caught him a little unprepared, he'd never really had to talk about his home since coming here. Feelings of homesickness began to creep their way in, but the boy did his best to not let on, now wasn't a good time to be sad about it! Plus, Era's phrasing, paired with the warm feeling she gave off, implied his home was still around, so perhaps there was still some hope to be had! "Well, it's nice, for the most part! I'd say it's fairly normal, but given recent events, I'm not quite sure if normal would mean the same to everyone. I guess I'll go with calling it a peaceful civilisation, there was no reason for anyone, or most people at least, to be afraid. People with magick were supposedly fully accepted in society, but it never actually felt like it. The few of us around had it tough, but what can you do.
"Thinking about it, my home was quite the opposite of here, I suppose. I really hope I can get back there someday!" Fuu stopped himself there, not wanting to make himself too sad with thoughts of home. As much as he'd gotten used to this new life in the small time he'd been here, Fumiya really did miss his home, his friends, his family. "I'm not really sure what else to say about it, so I'd say that's enough about where I'm from! How about you? What's your home like?"
While it was the obvious continuation of the conversation, the boy was still very curious. What other kinds of places were out there? Was everyone's home so varied? Thoughts of what other worlds could contain flooded his mind, drowning out most of his longing for home for now. So he sat, listening intently.
Given the opportunity to choose she decided on the handful of nuts that was provided in the package. That would leave him the fruit leather and the curious plum-like fruit that was provided as well.
She listened as he informed her about what it might be like on his world. "Your world sounds really interesting!" She wondered what it looked like. Were the natural structures anything like hers, or were they completely different? She'd been to a couple different worlds and honestly, they were all pretty unique. There was plenty of room for the imagination to explore: plenty of possible opportunity. There was a gentle grin that slipped across her face as she thought on the worlds: how distant they were now. The starless purple sky, and the possibility of getting them back. She didn't know how, but she knew they weren't all the way gone. Nothing was ever truly gone.
Her heart beat. She remembered an important friend. Remembered the desolation of Destiny Islands, and the twinge of pain that came with the memory. Just because she was positive did not mean she was immune to sadness. She just chose not to let it be her focus. Her thoughts were back on Fuu and on the worlds again a second later. "I'm sure they'll return some day! We'll get them back." And she'd do what she could to ensure that.
There was a moment of quiet, and she thought on her world. "Honestly, I don't remember much about where I come from. But I do remember a little more than normal." Maybe it had to do with Erax merging with her.
