Nightfall: Chapter 2
Two years after the events of Dream Drop Distance, the Darkness became so great that it swallowed the worlds, locking them away within its merciless abyss.
Twilight Town, now covered in eternal night, stands as one of last Sanctuaries of Light. It is where players begin their journey.
Ever resourceful, the Moogles have created a safe place for refugees. They have charged the Denizens of Light with finding Castle Oblivion: it holds a key to the puzzle of the lost worlds.
But within the dark shadows of the sanctuary world a powerful dark force still looms, waiting to strike. Each survivor must choose whether to go to Castle Oblivion or stay behind to protect the world from the dragon that lurks in the shadows.
Name: Larxene Nickname(optional): No. XII, The Savage Nymph
Age: Debatable, no younger than 21, at least.
Position: Organization XIII's number XII
Powers: Larxene is capable of manipulating electricity, able to cast the various Thunder spells and other lightning based attacks. She is also very swift on her feet and acrobatic, making it easy for her to pull off several intricate and impressive looking attacks in quick succession. Like all of her other comrades in the Organization, Larxene can also summon nobodies to her command and manipulate the Darkness, allowing her to call upon heartless and open Dark Corridors needed to travel amongst the worlds.
Weapon: Eight kunai (or throwing knives; it is debated amongst fans) held between the fingers. They are yellow and blue in color, fashioned to somewhat look like the Organization's symbol. In combat, Larxene uses them either to slash her opponent in a spiraling attack, or she throws them from a distance with great speed and accuracy. She can also siphon electricity into them to shoot lightning bolts.
Appearance: Being of small build, Larxene is usually dwarfed by most of the other members of the Organization, with an exception to, perhaps, Zexion. She's a little taller than five feet in height, and is also quiet skinny in frame. She looks almost frail in appearance, but anyone who is acquainted knows very well that the opposite is true. Larxene is actually a very skilled combatant. She is built for speed, which works to her advantage; she can outmaneuver most foes.
She is fair-skinned in the face, with somewhat of a round head. Her eyes are a wide, oval shape and look of a mixed color between blue and green, lined with long eyelashes. Larxene's hair is her most identifying feature, blond in color and slicked back. Several strands of her hair near the front of her hairline are styled up, hanging down the back of her head, resembling closely the antennas of an insect.
Her attire is the generic black trench coat and black boots, pants and gloves that all of the other Organization members wear.
Personality: It is general knowledge that Nobodies cannot feel, so it is easy to assume any emotions Larxene displays - anger, joy, sadistic happiness - are all an act. But, simply put, Larxene is a [word that is applied to a pregnant female dog].
Larxene is a woman who knows what she wants, and will do anything or kill anyone to meet her ends. Cunning and cruel are only a few words of many that can be used to describe her. She is a fast thinker and holds no loyalty towards her comrades. If it was to benefit her own desires, she would kill the entire Organization. She knows no kindness. She loves to see people squirm. The suffering of others bring her joy, or as much joy as a Nobody could feel.
Despite being the only female member of the Organization and possessing the second to last lowest rank, Larxene views herself as superior to the other members. She takes great pride in her abilities, and can get rather overconfident at times. Her overconfidence, usually, can and will horribly backfire on her with dire consequences.
A man of common sense would think her a mad woman, but Larxene is eloquent in the way she speaks and behaves, almost like a lady. It is skin deep that her true, savage nature crawls, slithering like a viper. Poised, ready to strike at a moments notice.
History/Background: Larxene came into being when her somebody lost its heart, and in time, the Organization found her and recruited her as their number XII. She is a relatively new member to the Organization, the second to last (Well, third to last, but we still do not who the fourth member is) member to join their ranks before Roxas.
Her loyalties towards her fellow members were strained from the very beginning. Larxene never shared their desire to regain their hearts, as she actually preferred not having a heart. No guilt for her actions she would say were the perks of being a nobody, and she was in no hurry to get her heart back.
Because of her ill commitment towards their goal, Xemnas shipped her off the Castle Oblivion, where the Organization was carrying out experiments regarding memories. While there, she learned that the Castle's lord, Marluxia, was plotting a rebellion to overthrow Xemnas and to take control of the Organization. He approached her with an other: join him in overthrowing Xemnas, and she can rule beside him. She accepted.
However, the plans did not go as they were supposed to. The boy they planned to make their own personal tool to use against Xemnas, the Keybearer named Sora, quickly slipped from their grasp. Larxene faced Sora in battle, in a last effort to recover their plans, but fell to him in battle, and faded back to darkness.
Since then, Larxene was brought back to the plane of existence by forces unknown. She did not question how or why, feeling that the answers were unimportant. She rejoined Xemnas's ranks as the Organization's twelfth member, knowing very well that she has been marked a traitor amongst them.
She's lost all desire to overthrow the Organization, and stays as far away from Marluxia as she possibly could, having grown a hatred for him for all the humiliation dealt to her in Castle Oblivion..
