In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Thankies it makes me bubbly that I have a basis that sates me. T_T only Hades will steal away such maiden. Now to put that face with a body...in this tunic I got sketched out...and since this is going to be a 3D model...I might as well design her brooch for her tunicy-nicy. She's wearing a short peplos, so she would need pins to keep the shoulders on.
I had the idea of such goddesses wearing a headdress, but seeing that she's a free natural basking in the sunlight youthful individua,l she wouldn't be weighed down with glamour or be materialistic...unlike my ideal Hera, who I haven't even started thinking of...since she isn't in the exposition.
//Also what Steven King book were you reffering to? // Thanks Skelly...now I have a book to buy for myself. XD I've been pondering on getting myself a present >> a figure drawing guide that I can get borders ooooor DSi for kingdom hearts game XD Easy decision with that.
Mmm... I do think the rounder face with the just as much round eyes gives her a more youthful look. Smaller eyes tend to make people look older, as that is how the head is proportioned for the most part in just plain ol' development. Doesn't mean your work can't be stylized! I do like the direction you're going, though.

I was bored, and when a guest came in the cbox to say hi...I totally broke into songs with XD Be Our Guests, and voila .
These were made eons ago for accepted profiles
Hmm I should make some more. I used Adobe Illustrators for those
OOoo something else I fooound. I should've used these for the SoTM oh wells. I can use them for something else.
Old Banner Competiton Entries;; //We had Banner Competition to inspire new skins// A promise -- I was going to submit that, but I think we were sick of purple with the last skin. You can somewhat see what it's like by tinkering with your profile.
Light in the Darkness -- XD This was deemed far too busy for a Banner, but it was fun to make. Perhaps that can be used for a SoTM must incorporate KH Manga in it. *ponders* ooooo
The one I submitted is very bad with the links...for some reason. In short its vectors of worlds. You can tell which world is which by major iconic structures such as: Destiny Island had a palm tree, Pride Lands had Pride Rock, Twilight Town had the Clock Tower, Halloween Town had the Swirly Hill, etc
Sumdoodles you remember that.
OOOoh something else I found in my photobucket crypt. THE MAFIA STUFF FOR WONDERLAND.
Oooh, all of this work. What a hefty post! Good stuff, though, Ellie. The paupus are cute, and I do like the banners. Is this website layout going to change come the close of winter? O:

Hmm I'll have to ask Bluey about that, since skins are her likkle domain in the bluey corner's. O.o You can hear her menaical laughter.
Bluey: MWHAHAHA PREETTTIIES.
: / hmm from looking at patterns of before...probably not, since skins tend to stick around long enough...until we're sick of them XD as well as needing a handful of graphics to be tested. I find it spiffy to have a manga themed skin...just after having the brain fart of possible using a manga page of kh for ze next SotM
This is the model sheet WIP for next week. For Computer Animation, we're started modeling, well lectured on modeling, but still have to finish our charrie design. Yes it originally was going to be Persephone, but I traded a P for another. Thanks to my "Exploring the Goddess" class I have already sketched some others, and Pele I have sketched a few times last semester, which is easier to go with a more developed character visual wise rather than one who's continously evolving.
My teacher saw a color test for her XD and already demanded to not come to class next week with something different, so I'll be sticking with her. The perspective model is off, because I naturally unintentional draw at an angle, but I'll try to straighten her out after outlining in Illustrator and dumping her in photoshop for coloring; it's easier to have a clean line art, then use the select tool. Anywho I shall keep ye posted, since I need to model her torso, legs, and arm by Tuesday. Pip Pip Cheerio. I shall post her colored model sheet when I'm done with that.
Ah, I've been meaning to do one of these for Skell! Nicely done. I find exercises like these, although hard to do, are very beneficial in figuring out proportions, and just getting more in tune with your character more. I like the consistency with your drawing and her proportions; however, I feel as though her proportions are off to begin with. Have you heard of five, six, and seven headed figures? I wouldn't go up to seven, but I think six to six and a half is mostly proportionate -- it'd help having those as your literal guidelines as opposed to guidelines where the joints are.

She's 7 heads tall (-3- was like standing in the mirror using a pencil as a measuring stick comparing my head with each portion. Upper body approx 2 heads, legs are 4, the arms was approx 3) so sketching wise I'm just making it inches. >.< This sucks because I would hate to have to model off of an off drawing, because when I started the line work either i drew her at an angle making her crooked and some parts won't line up....so now ellie the perfectionist ;; is drawing with a ruler.
Really? She's seven heads? It's funny, because she looks shorter than that. Usually seven headed figures are elongated a bit. Hair is not included in the measuring. But even then... her profile looks the most proportionate. I don't know what it is about the others. Perhaps it is just anatomy studies that would help. :3

Most likely since I never had figure drawing, but I do have these references generally used for 3D model of nude females. (-3- I wish the guys in the lab would stop going heeey why is she naked). >.< Hopefully this second sketch would be better, since i need to start the line art for digital coloring. I think I would just sketch have of the frontal...for I can duplicate sides.
Yep...I'm esctatic...like toootally bouncing and squealing in the inside. Haa I slowly becoming satisfied. I find this waaay better than the first go around, and yes, I cheated with the back view...it's just the front with modifcations XDD.
Critic your hearts delight. I most likely with paint and start modeling TOMOOOROOOOW
