In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Just need to do that drappery and do the rest of theee models. It's a little grr though, since when you convert vectors into pixels there can be some tight spaces; with that I can loose some of the outlining.
Colors are very nice, Ellie! I like how they all go together. Her hair is especially interesting in its color combinations. But I'm also very much a fan of her all black suit. Although, coloring it in allows you to see better some anatomical errors. But nothing too big. :3 Keep it up!

That's her head thus far. I'm still tweaking on it such as: detailing the lids a bit so it looks like she have some. I may do some brows. When it comes to this I am a weebit lost since it feels like you're being tossed out there "GO MODEL!" and the worst advice ever "Hang in there", so critique to your hearts content
I think it looks really good. ^.^ I did notice some slighly distorted parts, but that could be due to the style of 3d art you are doing or possibly the ethnicity (because humans are weird, you know?).
When I was learning to draw the human head, I just went to Google and compared my art to this to help practice my shape.

eeeeh i sooo didn't tend to the back of the head; I will definately need to run an edge loop tool to make more verts. X.x and I made the same mistake twice with Pele the distance between her lips and nose is too great, and I think the lip may are shaped oddly in the side view.

I was going to go heeey maybe I can model people charries. @.@ But boy Eva's body has already been QUITE a puzzle. I'm going to finish her legs, feet, and prooobably her accessories and show you guys...a semi complete model. I rather get critiques on her wireframe from my teacher before I start mending her together COMPLETELY -3- because by then...it's the point of no return. Also I shall show you guys Pele. I don't know if there's a CLEAR Improvement from Pele to Eva, becaaause I never stared at them back to back.
...yeah...now that I can take a breath and look at it....I hate it to the core. Seriously I was a smig away from enter -3- total bishy mode if anyone just go and point out the obvious. --;; As you can see I am my toughest critic, and I sooo want to burn this to the ground. In a sense of where it's at...you totally can't edit. Well I can sorta ish, but its symmetrical correspondant won't edit with it making her assymmetrical. I caaaaan edit one half, delete the other unedited faces, and duplicate special and voila (is too stubborn and tenacious to end it at this)
Yeah...Eva HAVE to be better then this -3- or I'm going to explode.
D: with that said...talk as much PRODUCTIVE shiz at this...for my second model won't EVER look like this.

Thankies thankies.
Second Charrie model. Yeah I'm doing two at a time, Pele for assignments and what not Eva for improving. Pele's body is done atm I have to unwrap for I can commence wiiiith TEXTURING! I found out I can transport her in 3D to photoshop and go panting mode, and I can form the muscular structure very easily on mudbox.
She's incomplete. She needs her hands, which I think I shall extrude. I do have hands I made for Pele, but I find it a pain to connect the two pieces together, which calls for a lot of 'edge loop tool usage' (which splits the body up in more polygons). Those familiar with maya...and character modeling >O THAT TOOL CAN SKREW YOU OVAAA. Doogie...beware.
Also I have a bundles of accessories for her to wear just to give me more practice modeling. I sketched out a beaded bracelet, earrings (which looks similar to Tiki's tree of life), her belt I know that would be a pain in the ass, but I think the illusion of multiple cords can be pulled off on mud box. I think I drew her with a beaded hair chopsticks, since she have a biig donut bun. She also have a hair clips, and feathers. >> Yeah I'll just get her picture up.
Eva's head reference There you gooo. So yeah, there she is. >> I find it funny...how you have to sketch out the reference, but in the end...you're only modeling half the face for you can duplicate and have symmetry...well unless your charrie is Quasimodo. WARG
CHATTER MY PRETTIES!
Edit:
I've heard the first link on my last post of Pele was wargish, so here it is again. Here --> Pele model

There goes Shunny's Nadia...as a bunny. She's currently faceless...because ellie draws small with such features XD even on a 11 x 14 sketchbook >> << thinking that the scanner may not pick it up well XD i didn't sketch a face >> and nooow >O *struggling to give her a faaace.
