In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

*Facedesk* First- *EDITED* If this was already read my response was based on what happened on page 2. Stupied computer didn't pull up page 3.
Second- Not to dis Bluey or anything but with just one person holding two very important characters is not good for plot development. Just like it was stated before, your rarely on, and I know you have a life outside of this one and your trying your best to please everyone on the site.
Third- Elaeus, I agree with the elaboration of certain elements. When I first read the plot I had major confusion at certain areas. But what I disagree on is having a custom keyblade for each keyblader. That would cause so much more confusion about them and what each one can do (In my opinion).
Fourth- TIME IS RELEVANT. How much time passes through threads and between threads can be a little confusing. But, if one thread is not done yet and someone joins another thread with the same person from the previous thread, could they still know each other? Answer: ??. We can't know the amount of time elapsed between the two, and using REAL WORLD time would not work.
Jeez. I think this is the first time I have actually participated in site development. Yay me!
Did we ever see Sephiroth do any of the overpowered things he did near the tail end of FF7? Nay.
Did we ever see Sephiroth try? After you fight him in 2, he says, paraphrased, "Oh good, you've earned the honor of being my messenger boy. Now go fetch me Cloud."
As for Kefka, I'm done beating that horse. My point has been made, and I don't care about should/would/could.
Okay, I believe that World Destruction should definitely be fully controlled. Why not make the destroyer talk it over with Roxas ro a major moderator? And if he has a reasonable motive, he can try his best. If he appears to be losing by a reasonable amount, the mod stops the battle. The destroyer loses. And is forever shamed, lol.
Actually, I think that the GM should have an open discussion thread about plot ideas - or more specifically, plot suggestions that they've come up with. Afterwards, it could be put to vote which plot idea to use, and as such, the popular plot is the one that is used. This won't be the only way to progress the plot, nor by any means should it be the main way, but it'd be a nice way for in-between plots to be decided upon while the staff works together on the main plot.
Which reminds me, we need a main plot. I know supposedly have one, but nobody seems to care. Which needs to change. Rather, the GM needs to get in touch with those whom are in control of plot driving characters (Dark 12, Org 13, Sora's buddies, King Mickey, etc...). As always, it's the KH characters that drive the overall main plot, though characters like Kefka and Sephiroth could drive world plots. What's more, ALL WORLDS NEED A PLOT. Something like you'd see in the games, for example. We could have a plot in the Pride Lands based of the Lion King II. We could have a plot in the Caribbean based off of the second Pirates movie. Olympus Colosseum could have a tournament going on. Some worlds, though, like Wonderland and Halloween Town, which have their plots spent, I see no reason in keeping. Rather than Halloween Town, why not a similar town for similar movie's plot... Perhaps Corpse Bride or Caroline? The same person made them, after all.
But back to the main plot - the GM is the driving force of a story - the storyteller. It's their job to get the characters to keep with the plot. It's actually one of the reasons why when I GM, all the 'main character' types and villains are under direct GM control, thus allowing me to progress the plot as I need. It also keeps the important roles in play - as I, the GM, would be playing them, I don't have to worry about the player suddenly leaving without warning. However, as things are done differently here, the GM needs to work closely with the more important characters. Players with major plot ideas (be them Overall or just World Plots) should consult the GM and work with them to make it happen.
As for character plots, or plots that focus on the development of a specific character rather than something more involved like a World or Overall plot, I believe we should have a thread made so we can keep that information organized.
tl;dr - this RP needs a bit of streamlining, and the only real way to do that is to get all the major players and the GM working together.
It certainly would be helpful. It's at the point where it's told that there is a standing plot, but no character knows or acknowledges it, so there is nothing in any way or form to move it. If there was even one person who could kick off a single event that included a few people and a hint of plot, that would help out tremendously.
It's not so much people want an active GM, as much as it is that an RP demands an active GM. When the GM leaves or becomes inactive, the RP tends to fall apart and die. The GM is what holds the story together, and there's only so much the players can do when the GM leaves. In the absence of a GM, two possible outcomes are present:
A) Stagnation leading to the eventual death of the game B) Roleplayers getting fed up and preforming a hostile takeover of the game - ousting the GM from power and replacing them with someone who'll do their job.
I've actually been part of a few hostile takeovers myself, working with site admin (who on the site, were separate from the GMs and individual game staff) to remove the inactive GM from power and replace them with someone who was more active. However, should the GM also be the Admin, it's not that simple... It'd require someone else whom has administrative abilities to pull it off.
So if the GM isn't doing anything here, y'all have got to make a choice...

Can someone define the acronym, purpose, and job of DM, GM, and etc.
I just want to know what are the purposes for the extra staff titles when the staff needs developement and modification.
ie. We only have two Historians. In the thread that explain their meanings, it states that they run over two worlds, but it isn't stated which historian rules over which world, and it's clear that there isn't enough Historians. With the help of math, this site needs 11 Historians, and we need 9 more....
Also we have a moderator who hasn't been on since Novemeber, but the user is still supposively moderating six worlds...
By the counts, this site have 688 members, which is extrageration, because not all of them are active. Oh yes and about 356 of them didn't even have one post count. Sooo only 332 have atleast one post with only 13 staff members to run the site smoothly.
*Delete some of the extreme inactive members *Increase the size of staff (wow 13 staff. and 13 org members XD) *Also take care of the staff we have now before adding more.
DM/GM - Dungeon Master/Game Master. DM is a D&D term, matching their dungeon theme. GM is a more general, all-encompassing term, and is usually used for most non-D&D games. But they're the same thing: The storyteller, the mastermind of the game. They are the one that created the story/scenario, and the ones in charge of running the game. When questions arise, they are usually the ones that hold the answers, as in essence, the GM is the God of the Game, and their weapon the Mighty Banhammer. They may also appoint Co-GMs or Mods, and allow use of Banhammer Replicas, but in the end, the GM is the one with the final say of what happens and what doesn't - within reason, of course.
In light of those statistics, those with Administrative privileges need to remove all inactive members from the game, or those whom have had no posts after having been registered for a week.

Now that makes sense, but I wonder if giving such a job would be...useless or putting more work on other people.
ie. The GMs create the plots for minor worlds, but we all know that not all of the world characters would be taken, so it will force a Historian to act out all the characters of the worlds, and they have two worlds to moderate. Now if they don't mind, it wouldn't be a big deal, plus the addition of minor worlds have their own minor plot, it may encourage users for more World Characters.
x.x At this point...I totally aggree with you Rook
The problem I see is that this game depends on the players to create plots, and each player has their own idea of how the plot should unfold. What we need is a centralized plot, something that the players must build their individual plots around, and the job of creating and ENFORCING the centralized plot is the role of the GM.
I'm also in agreement with Rook. He make a very valid point - the problem being, though is that it is up to the characters whom drive the main plot - Mikey's team of Keybladers, Sora and his entourage, The Org 13, and the Dark 12 - to create these and drive these plots. Players such as myself, whom have lesser characters whom would only be of importance should the GM (or maybe Mickey) deem them so, can't really make a dent in creating a plot, though we CAN contribute to progressing it once it's started. Also, keep in mind that alot of these minor original character have potential - either for the villains to exploit, or for the good guys to recruit. A good example would actually be Morrisa, one of mine. Due to her nature of seeing things and people as tools to empower her magic, it'd be easy for one of the villains to exploit that nature and have her further their ambitions. Another character I may be applying with soon is qualified to wield a keyblade, should the keyblade choose him, so the good guys may look to him to be a possible ally against the darkness.
Basically, alot of the problems is that people aren't taking much initiative. There's so much potential here, and yet all the bad guys are hiding in The World that Never Was, whereas all the good guys are nowhere to be found. What's the deal? Where's the GM to address these things and crack down on it? Someone with the ability needs to take a stand and start something. And Rook... you control one of those important characters!
I imagine you're referring to Luxord, but as Splink, our site's Xemnas, has been planning plot, the Org.XIII roster has been put on stand-down from doing anything serious until she sorts it out. She recently posted bits of her plot, but it is somewhat self-contained to the Org.XIII itself.
I see. Well, regardless, you are right about someone needing to act... and if not the Nobodies (which, given their scheming ways, makes sense), then surely the Dark XII need to. If nothing else, the Org in the canon didn't act out in the open until their subtle plans came close to completion, whereas Xehenort's Heartless was more about action rather than plotting... As such... where are the Dark XII? I've not seen any of them on much... or rather, active...

Well one is right here posting. The difficulty with the Dark XII is...that we lack active members I can count all of them on one hand. Also we don't have an Ansem, who haven't been on since...November.
I've been trying to use Elaeus to start something, but as a group unit we aren't moving. Then again I would drop Elaeus to make an Ansem..., but I doubt such decision would be effective.
Also with the Dark XII we would have a particular character, but they aren't active, nor do I think they are popular characters. I think we have more nobodies in general versus....heartless. The Dark members are just original characters, but like I said...I can find more original characters that nobodies versus heartless.
In short, no one is applying for the remaining members, and we only have a few active ones.
Which again leads us back full-circle to the problems with the current site-plot. It needs the characters to be active, which is highly improbable to have all of them readily on-hand at any given time. Instead of being so specific, I think it would do better to say "This is the problem, this where it starts, get it done." Less specifi, needs less to keep going once the ball gets rolling. But alas, it is not meant to be.
Let is be known as well, if it would help keep the XII's ranks bolstered I would happily lay down Luxord for Ansem if it meant getting everything in motion, despite how much I am looking forward to the Org.XIII plot.
