In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

My answer is yes, though I'm not sure how you do it. I asked a friend of mine on staff about this and they said that yes you can get rid of your character, sadly I didn't learn how. I'm sure another staff member will come along and can help you with solving your question.
As far as I am aware you are more than able to delete your original characters. I am able to delete posts, so if you were putting in a request to remove one of your characters, I'd be more than happy to oblige. I'm sorry it took someone else so long to get back to your question {unless of course, you were contacted further via pm}. Thank you for the question, and let me know if you need anything!

*Edit* Just clarified. Any of the staff {excluding Welcomers, because I don't believe they have edit or delete abilities} can remove a member's profile. I'd recommend going to a non-admin staff member {as they'll most likely have less PMs to sift through}. Once you send the pm with a name, and preferably the link to the profile in question, you can go ahead and remove the link from your signature.

Ok, the character profile was deleted as well as the adoption thread. You're welcome, and again, I apologize for the wait time it took to get you a definitive answer.
Just a note... wouldn't it just be easier to RP your character out of the game? Like, say, having them lose their heart to the darkness and become a heartless? You'd pretty much have to make a thread being their final plot thread, and make sure people know it. Then in the culmination of the events, in a 100% board-canon way, your character has been written off and turned into a heartless. This isn't the only way of course--if you want to really delete your character, go ahead, but this way you can come back to them later and play them as a heartless.
