In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Antique stared at the bats wearily. Did this mean they were going to fly? Her stoumach did a flip-flop. There was another time that she flew--though she didn't recall it, but she remembered that she did not like it whatsoever. Hmm...but what was it she flew, exactly?
Looking at the bat wearily, she turned her head to follow Saxen's directions. Biting her bottom lip, she turned her head back to the overly sized bat. "You don't mind if I pretend you're a horse, do you girl?" she said, running her hand along side of the things neck. Whether it was to comfort the giant dream bat or herself, she didn't know.
Mounting the bat (less than gracefully), she attempted to balance herself. And honestly looked terrified.
Looking over at Antique attempting to mount the Nutar, he couldn't help but laugh a little. He knew that he had to have seemed like that to everyone else when he first started. "If you want, you can ride with me," Saxen said with a smile. "Kalck can get us both and I've been doing this a while."
He hardly even thought about flying anymore, having done it almost daily back home. He had gotten so comfortable on bats that he would often just fly to relax or clear his head. He rubbed his hand in his bat's fur and his sword disappeared. "Although, if you're comfortable, we can just go."
Antique turned to Saxen and made the biggest unintentional puppy eyes she could make, as she attempted to get off the giant bat--and suceeded on falling the rest of the way off.
"Actually...yeah...I should probably fly with you..." she said, looking like a child that had done something wrong.
Saxen couldn't help but smile at this girl as she (clumsily) dismounted the bat and gave him the cutest look he had seen in a long time. It took Saxen a second to think about how two riders got on one bat, as most times he had done so the other rider had been unconscious. Then, he jumped off Kalck and landed fairly well off to his side. He walked over to Antique and said, "Here, I'll help you up. Just come over here." He got down on one knee near the side of Kalck and held his hands out, fingers interlaced. "Step here and swing your leg over his neck. I'll get on in front of you. Just make sure to hold on to me." Once she got up, he jumped up to mount in front of her. "Ready?"
Fidgiting nervously, she saw the motions he was making so that she could be lifted up onto the giant flying bat. Placing a hand on his shoulder, she placed her tiny foot in Saxen's hands, and managed to swing herself up onto the bat.
She had a real height disadvantage--which was a good reason she didn't even like mounting horses in her world, either. At least, not in front of other people.
Having sat herself semi-comfortably, she patted the giant creature's back--and silently prayed that she wouldn't be thrown off.
"Just remember to hold on" were the last words of advice he gave to her before leaning in to his bat for a moment. "Take it slow," he instructed the dream projection of his friend. "We're just going for a quick tour around the city," he said, this time to them both. Then, Kalck took off. He followed his instructions and flew smoothly over the city. They flew over the Coliseum, where ghosts of people trained flying through obstacle courses and sparring both with swords and without. Then, they flew over the residential area which was, simply, a large number of domes. Then, they flew up and down the castle, showing the obsidian, crystal, marble, and granite that made up the various levels of the castle. "Great isn't it?" he asked. "I wish the crystal garden was in our territory...then I'd take you there."
Antique was pretty sure, that somewhere, her Heart was beating out of her chest. Just drilling right out of it. She clung onto Saxen for dear life, after she let out a shout of panic as they swopped down--if people were meant to fly, they would have been born with wings! Squinting her eyes open, she allowed herself to just barely peek at what was going on--and what she saw was amazing!
She gasped for air--these kind of things were underground?
"Well, it's a dream....isn't it?" she said quietly, also curious about a crystal garden.
Saxen felt Antique squeezing the life out of him and smiled. He left his right hand on Kalck's head and put his left on Antique's arm.
"Well, it's a dream....isn't it?" he heard her say quietly.
"Yes, it is," he said as a plotting grin spread across his face. "If it's a dream..." he said to himself, "Maybe we can get in there without any problems from the Tyga..." With that, he signaled Kalck to turn and head through a series of smaller caves. When they came out, they were over the Wilderness. The Wildy was simply a huge, deadly, underground jungle. Then, Kalck swooped to the left and flew out parallel to the Hetaquega (a large area with a lot of fire and magma) until they reached an area where the walls were all made of crystals. He had Kalck lower his altitude so they'd only be a few feet off the ground. At that height, it would be easy to see that many of the crystals were made to grow in patterns like flowers. "This place has been grown by every king and Zytanh of Anhnyqueg. One day, I hope to get this place back and make my contribution."
Stoumach doing flip-flops as they flew through more and more caves, Antique did her very best to keep her stoumach and sense of vertigo down. Peeking her eyes open a little bit more, she became wide-eyed to see the crystal flower garden. She leaned over Saxen's shoulder, feeling a little bit braver.
"Oh Saxen, it's beautiful!" she said. Typical girl. And the way that they picked up light. Joy rushed through her--the scene before here reminded her of..something important. She just couldn't remember. Her Heart thumped, sending light to shine through the bottom of the crystals.
"This place has been grown by every king and Zytanh of Anhnyqueg. One day, I hope to get this place back and make my contribution."
"You can grow crystals...?" she said, and paused, thinking over what he had said. "Wait, you're royalty?"
"Oh Saxen, it's beautiful!" He couldn't help but smile once again at her amazement. "You can grow crystals...?" she said, and paused, thinking over what he had said. "Wait, you're royalty?"
"No, I'm not royalty. Like I said before, I am a Zytanh. The Zytanha is a group of warriors that are written about in the prophecies of Neiday the Great. Over the 2000 years that Anhnyqueg has been a country, there have been many. I am the current one. The Zytanha are either treated as royalty or hated. We quickly become symbols of war and are expected to wage wars and win battles, even though we are chosen because we wish for peace...The Zytanha often get chosen by this symbiote to wield its power. We are usually friends of the royal family, unless they're corrupt. Of course, I could go on forever about this. For now, let's land." He signaled Kalck to land and they came down into an open area.
Saxen dismounted and lifted Antique down onto the ground. He then walked over to one of the crystal flowers, found its weak point, and broke it off. "Part of the contribution of the Zytanha was a fragrance. Crystals don't normally smell, but these do." Saxen then handed the flower he had picked to her. "Smell it. They smell like all sorts of flowers." Then, as he looked up, the sliver of light that made it down from the Sun reflected and refracted into all of the flowers, giving the garden a beautiful glow.

Antique listened to what he had to say, though she was a tad bit confused. There was terminology that she wasn't very familiar with. Something about a symbiote...and..being friends with royalty? And chosen ones. Reflecting quietly about wht very little she understood, she smiled.
"Oh! I just asked because I thought...." she said, and shook her head from left to right, still looking down at the crystal flowers. She probably just misunderstood. Just as she was about to say something else, they began to start landing. Letting out a yelp of suprise, she closed her eyes super tight. Then, she felt hands around her, she was let down.
She tested her legs, and smiled, looking around the crystals around her. A flower was being offered to her.
"Oh! Uhm...thank you," she said, pushing hair behind her ear as she sniffed the crystal. She pulled back, suprised. "Wow! You're...right...it smells like flowers..."
Just as Saxen was about to sit and enjoy the beauty of the garden, he heard an all too familiar voice. "Saxen, it's almost sunrise. I know how much you hate to miss them."
Saxen then turned to Antique and walked over to her. Taking her hand, he said, "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I must depart from your company." With a bow, he stepped back, stood for a moment, and disappeared after flickering for a few seconds. He smiled and waved as he disappeared.
Antique smiled a bit shyly as Saxen took her hand. She had known it was almost time for him to wake up. There was always a mental shift in the dream world that happened.
He disappeared--and shortly sooner after that, the dream-world disappeared in a flourish of birds--or were they bats? Antique couldn't tell.
She turned to stare at the white abyss that was before her. If only...
