In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

*flails hand* I like the old codes when all the avatars and sayings were near the top. Less scrolling and it looked more neat. Please? I'll give you a cherry~

Hm. Leveling works if you have one character, not multiple. Now, inventory may work. Actually, things to purchase to have on your profile for the OOC Rper may be fun, based on awards, post count, etc. Trophies could be displayed here, if won.
But I must also agree, the whole inventory thing sounds interesting, especially if we can get someone to make images for all the items and trophies and what not. Maybe we can make plushies like the Advent Children forums did...
That's what you'll get, we're already getting some of it, and people don't even have any incentives of post counts, other than their number going up by one. And then there's just people that have high post count from being active and having a little bit of spam here and there (i.e. Yuffie)
So yeah... I don't really see the purpose o it, or a fair way of going about doing it.
How 'bout a healthy mix of light and dark? I mean, dark sounds appealing, but light is always around. How about a theme representing the balance of light, dark, nothingness and [insert missing value here]? Like Silver, Blue, and whatever the other colors are?

There's a way you can get lvl what nots after every number of posts. I had a code that doubled it by the number of post. I'm sure you can edit it for people won't get 2 lvl by one post >> but one every....30...50? *shruggles*
Maybe levels can be gained from competitions in The Coliseum through different cup tournaments.
Oo You can always introduce currency in munnies, which would be manipulated by post >> but have to make purchases and the moderator can just subtract the money away.
There's more small pictures of the inventory in Kingdom Hearts wiki under Item cards
The way I see it, in-game inventory works if you have one character only. Same with leveling, which is skewed often by people's post count. Mine would be high, considering my level, while another's who may play someone of also high power would be far lower.
In short, it sounds like a good idea in theory, but I've rarely seen it work in practice.
As for inventory, it would likely be OOC things, just to have -- or give. That I have seen work far more often than anything you can 'purchase' for your characters to have.
