In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It had taken some work to get this group together to return to his home, but he had done it. They were, hopefully, going to help save his world, or, at least, slow down its destruction. This new ship was the best thing that had ever happened to him, aside from meeting some new friends. Saxen piloted his ship to his world and he checked his scanners to see if the others were there. They were close enough that they'd be able to follow. He took his ship down to the world's surface. It was covered in trees until he came to the mountains. He flew over them for a few seconds before finding the cave he had come out of when he left. Once he spotted it, he took his ship down.
He stepped out and sat down, meditating while he waited for the others to land. His ship would have been able to make it through, but the others may not fit. His ship was rather small. Saxen took deep breaths, and looked around. There were plenty of plants and a few trees, but the terrain was rocky. It would be entirely stone where they were going, so it wasn't a big deal to him. He was hoping that Mikhail would be able to provide light on the way down. Climbing in the dark was never fun. Sitting, preparing himself for their quest, even Deathblade was slightly apprehensive. They were going to see how their home had changed in a only a few months, and it wasn't going to be good.

V's hands tightly held on to the ships wheel, as she piloted it around the universe, following Saxen's Gummi ship close behind. She was nervous. "Are you sure you wanna do this?" said a voice that wasn't Shira's. The question circled around her head, beads of sweat now showing on her face.
"Relax V..." She whispered to herself. "What's done is done, you made your decision...you and Shira."
Her face darkened as she said her dark persona's name, today would be Shira's last day sharing a body with her. She'd be able to move with her own legs, and have her own thoughts without sharing with another.
Now usually a normal person would think this was a good thing, but V wasn't normal, she actually was sad that Shira would be separating from her soul. After sharing so many memories...you couldn't help but for a great relationship. It was like as if she was losing her best friend, but she knew Shira would never leave her. Afterall, she was like her older sister, surely Shira wouldn't leave her little sister...would she?
Maybe...she would-V instantly shook her head. 'No!' she thought panicked. 'It doesn't matter what Shira decides to do...all that matters is her happeness, and if she's happy I'm happy."
She took in a deep breath, and looking up ahead watched as Saxen headed towards a world she had never seen. "So that's it huh?" She said to herself. "It's kinda cool."
She followed Saxen as he went down, and as she landed next to Saxen's ship on a mountain sighed. "She turned to her love Shiro, who was in the back. "We're here!" she chimed excitedly, and jumping up from the pilots seat went outside the gummy ship.
As she stepped out, she looked around, and finding Saxen went straight over to him. "Hey!" she said smiling.
Meanwhile, in the depths of V's soul, Shira waited patiently in the darkness. She was thinking about V's and her's decision. A new body...heh...it sounded like freedom to the dark persona's ears. But as it was good to Shira, it was also quite sad..."Today's our last day..." She thought. "After this it's over, our souls we'll be separated..."
She sighed, she knew this day would happen...V would become stronger, and she would lose her purpose for existence. Though she knew V was ready for a life without her, the question was...was she? She had prepared herself to just disappear, to go back into V's soul. But now...the plan was different...how would she do without V? Only the future knew...
Everyone else was all depressed; worried about something that was going to happen... But not Shiro. He was actually enjoying his time. Sitting behind V, he watched his love control the gummi ship to sweet freedom. V would finally be free from that darkness inside her body. He’d finally be able to watch her sleep, instead of having another being walking around with her body. He’d be able to feel a whole lot safer when it came to Shira. He didn’t know much about sharing a body, but he assumed that there were some problems that came with it. The only problem he would have to worry about after this day was Shira tagging along. Perhaps he could pick up V like a princess and get on the gummi ship before Shira would even notice… Yeah…
As the gravity controller sat in the back seat, he resisted the urge to take a nap. He didn’t want to sleep, not at all. He wanted to miss anything. So he just laid back and relaxed. He would occasionally lean forward and kiss his love on the cheek incase if she was worried about what was to happen. Sometimes he’d ask if she was tired and needed a break. Basically his whole ride to Saxen’s world was revolved around V. He loved her so much. And he just couldn’t wait to go to a world, send Shira somewhere else, and spend time with V with no worries, unless there were heartless of course. The only thing he didn’t care for that day was going to Saxen’s world. Sure he wanted to see Shira go “poof”, but he didn’t want to go through all the work to have that happen. Well, at least it was Saxen. Any other person, he’d probably just get rid of Shira and then ditch them. But he owed Saxen one for the whole confusion with his girl. Though, if that situation was what he thought it was, he probably wouldn’t care about getting rid of Shira. Saxen would’ve stolen his love away from him; he wouldn’t give a shit about his home world or Shira if he did that. Well, good thing it wasn’t that, right?
Smiling at his love, he listened to her tell him that they were finally there. Standing up, he walked out of V’s gummi ship and took his first step on Saxen’s home world. Shiro turned his head, and looked at Saxen. Unlike V, he didn’t bother to say “hi”. He wanted to get this thing done and over with. Walking over to him, he said, ”Saxen, now what must we do to get rid of that-“ Shiro quickly stopped himself, because he remembered that V was right behind of him. He knew V would be a little sensitive to the subject, since Shira had been with her for a long time, longer than he has. ”I mean, what must we do to give Shira a new home?” He rephrased the question better. Hopefully it saved him from his previous error in words. Turning his head back at V, he gave her a soft smile. Then, looking back at Saxen, he said, ”So, let’s get this over with, shall we?” And with that, he turned his head towards the rocky open, and started to walk with his sword in hand.
(So is it safe to assume that Shiro, V, and Shira(separate bodies) will walk out of here with very few problems, right? I want to start a thread that is taken place after this one, so i was just curious)

When Saxen heard V's ship land, he immediately got up, albeit rather slowly, then stretched. He easily got cramped sitting and meditating, but he tried to do it occasionally anyway. It was a good way to organize his thoughts and memories. When V came over and said hello, he smiled and greeted her kindly. When Shiro came over, however, he skipped the niceties and moved straight to business. ”Saxen, now what must we do to get rid of that-“ he began, but then immediately stopped. He started over with, ”I mean, what must we do to give Shira a new home? So, let’s get this over with, shall we?”
As soon as Shiro was halfway through his first sentence, though, Deathblade wasn't very happy and quickly initiated the mind-bond. This added a slight metallic ring to Saxen's voice and his eyes turned red. "You know, Shiro, that's rather rude. First, you don't say hello to us, and then, you decide to insult Shira. That doesn't make for a good start of a trip." Then, Saxen's eyes and voice returned to normal and he shook his head to get rid of the slight headache that came as a result of the short link. "So, Shiro, I take it you can climb okay," then he turned to V, "But what about you?" He walked over to a small cave. "We're gonna have to climb down here for a while, and it'll be dark, but I'll provide some light with fire magic." He paused at the edge of the hole they were about to enter. "I'm ready when y'all are."

V wasn't very happy, when Shiro spoke. She knew that Shira and him weren't exactly the best of buddies, but that didn't mean he had to be rude. She was about to say something, when suddenly Saxen spoke...or was that Deathblade? His voice sounded metallic, and his eyes were...red?
"You know, Shiro, that's rather rude. First, you don't say hello to us, and then, you decide to insult Shira. That doesn't make for a good start of a trip." he said. V was greatly surprised, she didnt think Saxen, or Deathblade would say anything like that. She wanted to mouth to him thank you, but before she could Saxen's eyes returned to normal, and he immediately then asked V if she could climb, reverting her thoughts away from what had happened just a minute ago.
She nodded, "Yep!" her voice chimed happily, covering the fact that she was actually sad at the moment. "I'm a monkey!" she joked, and with that listened to Saxen.
He walked over to the cave, and said, "We're gonna have to climb down here for a while, and it'll be dark, but I'll provide some light with fire magic." He then paused at the edge of the hole they were going to enter. "In ready when y'all are." he said.
V nodded, she walked towards the cave, and looking at Saxen said in a serious tone. "Let's go."

Shiro expected Saxen and V to follow him, but they didn’t. Deathblade apparently didn’t like what he had said. Turning his head a little bit, he stopped and listened to what Deathblade had to say. The gravity controller had to admit it was very rude of him, so he looked at Saxen or Deathblade and told him honestly, ”Sorry, it was rude of me.” And then turning around towards V, he told his love, ”I’m sorry, V. My apologies to you too, Shira.” He didn’t really want to say “sorry” to Shira at all, but he could clearly see that V was unhappy with his words. And the last thing he wanted to do was make his love unhappy.
And then turning his head back towards Saxen, he nodded at the climbing question. He also had to give a light chuckle towards V’s comment as well. Then, walking over to the entrance of the cave, he listened to Saxen’s directions. Alright, so they had to go into a dark cave. It wasn’t really something he was a fan of, because of his last experience in Halloween Town, but he guessed he kind of had to. When V finished speaking, he nodded at Saxen and told him with a determined tone, ”Lead the way, my friend.”
And then with that, he looked over at V, who also happened to share the same experience as he did. He mouthed at her with a smile, “I love you.” He sure hoped she wasn’t still mad at him for his rude words. He then looked over at Saxen and waited for him to lead the way. He hated caves. He really, really, did. Oh well, he had to do it. There was no other way, right? Turning his head slightly towards the left, he looked for another possible way. Nope. He’d just have to trust Saxen. It was his homeworld after all, right?
Saxen laughed when V said she was a monkey. Well, that took one more thing off his mind. He took a second to plan the climb in his head as he got ready to go down. He had to go down first, of course, and there was also the issue of making sure he didn't catch anyone on fire. He looked up at the sky for a moment, knowing that it would be his last glimpse of it for at least a little while. "Come on," Saxen instructed simply as he stepped down into rocky hole. Then, he got an idea. He stepped back out of the hole and ran over to a lone tree on the low mountainside that they were on. He formed a set of lanterns with clips, which took a lot out of him, and filled them with small branches. Then, he went back over to V and Shiro, handing them both one after he lit them with some fire magic.
After he handed them the lanterns, he collapsed. His energy had been spent, he wasn't going anywhere. Since Saxen was out of Action, Deathblade took over. "Saxen" stood back up and, within a second or two, the physical change between the two had occurred. Deathblade shook his hair behind his back, and, lighting his lantern and attaching it to his belt, stepped back into the hole. He immediately started descending, pausing once he got down a good 20 feet to see if they were coming. He decided that he should probably start some conversation. They were going to be climbing down together for a while, you know.
"So. . ." he paused, having no idea what to say, next. He didn't have anything to talk about and he only knew as much about them as Saxen did, but he would feel odd using Saxen's knowledge to talk to people he had only met twice, briefly. A few seconds later, he had continued climbing and had chosen where to start. "Uh. . . I'm sorry I threatened you both when we first met. . ."
As V took ahold of her lantern that was given to her, she gasped as Saxen suddenly collapsed to the ground. She was about to do something when suddenly he got up again, except when he stood up his appearance looked different. 'Deathblade?' she though confused. But before she coils ask him what happened to Saxen, Deathblade had already gone into the hole. She immediately followed him, not slowing down for a second. Then as they had ventured down into the cave about 20 feet, the man began to say something.
He had apologized for what happened when they first met. This came as a surprise to V, she would had never thought Deathblade would say such a thing, more or less say that he was sorry. She smiled, and rushing up to his side said cheerfully. "Awww don't worry about it death! It was our first meeting, so no use getting made over it."
At this the girl's girls smile widened, "Plus...I knew you didn't mean it." She then let out a short laugh, and looking at Shiro said jokingly. "Though I don't know if I can say the same for Shiro...he was pretty upset." She laughed again, then looking back at Deathblade, she gave him a playful punch on the shoulder. She then looked forward, and peering into the darkness, continued downward into the cave.
(Noma, don't hate me. I struggled with making a post, sadly. I finished with a post of 100 words. Not much for Shiro to do at the moment, so skip me. So I'll make a longer and better post the next time around. He grumbles by the way, so if u want to include Shiro's reaction, there it is)
Deathblade definitely had not been expecting quite the reaction he got from V, but had been expecting more of what he had gotten from Shiro. He had threatened them, but V reacted by saying that it didn't matter. But what came next bothered him. She said that she knew he didn't mean it. That was a mistake. If she hadn't said that, it would have been okay, but she had. So, after she hit him on the shoulder (of course, he did know that it was meant in fun), he pushed her off the wall, but made sure to catch her by the shoulder. He held her out and said with a forceful voice, "I DID mean it. Never forget that. I apologized for it only because you're Saxen's friends." He then pulled her back in and helped her back onto the rock face. "I don't really care about either of you," he said as he continued climbing down. He knew that Shiro was going to freak out on him for that, and with that knowledge, smiled beneath his faceplate. He was curious to see what Shiro would do.

V was surprised as Deathblade pushed her off the wall, grabbing a hold of her shoulder but not to fall. Her eye's widened, fear slowly building inside of her. Would he let her go? And let her fall to her death? She thought so at first, but then what he said next made her think otherwise. "I DID mean it. Never forget that. I apologized for it only because you're Saxen's friends." He had said, before helping her back onto the rock face, he then added. "I don't really care about either of you."
At first the girl was silent, taking in what he said. But then, she began to...smile? Her eyes lit up, and doing the most unthinkable thing ever, laughed. "Ha! Ha! Ha!" she shouted, as she grinned her stomach, her voice echoed throughout the entire cave. She took in a deep breath, trying to regain her composure, then looking up at deathblade said smiling. "you...you may say that...but your exactly like Shira."
She knew Deathblade wouldn't understand what she meant by her words, but then holding up her hand so that he wouldn't say anything asked. "Let me ask you a question..." She lowered her hand, her lips still curved into a bright smile. "If you didn't care about me or Shiro, why then didn't you let me fall earlier? Sure we maybe Saxen's friends, but is that really important?" She stopped there, standing straight up. And continuing to climb down, waited for the fierce man's response.
Taking the lantern, he examined it. Impressive was all he had to think. And then, the three of them descended into the hole. About twenty feet down, Deathblade started a conversation between the three of them. This should be good. As Deathblade apologized, he smirked. Deathblade seemed to have a hard time with apologies. Seeing V rush up to Deathblade made the man smile. V was so sweet and caring. Seeing her talk to Death like that just reminded him that he was lucky to be with her. But her ending comment made him grumble, even though she said in a jokingly way. The next event that happened was something he didn’t expect… Or like.
His eyes widened as Deathblade pushed the only person he cared about off the wall. Quickly rushing up to the both of them, with one hand he withdrew his sword. The next thing he knew was that he was aiming the sword at Deathblade with anger in his eyes, the blade exactly an inch away from the man’s neck. Why didn’t he strike? Well that was obvious. ”You should be grateful, sharing the same body of a friend of mine, because if you were with someone else, the tip of your own fucking blade would be sticking out on the opposite side of your own fucking neck,” Shiro told him with an angered tone, clearly pissed off. Normally, he wouldn’t use such language. But what could he say? He was pissed. He didn’t care that V was safe once again. The man that he was talking to had just held V in a position where she could have very possibly meet her end. Deathblade just crossed the line.
Lowering his blade, he answered V’s question for Deathblade, ”He needs us. Saxen and Deathblade can’t save their world alone.” And then, his attention turned back towards Deathblade. He continued to speak, but the volume of his voice slowly rose as he talked. ”So if you want us to save your damn world from going into hell, I suggest you don’t piss off the only people in this fucking universe that will actually help you two. So before we continue down, let me say this. If you cross the line one more time, Deathblade, I’m done with this shit. So you better watch it.” And with that, the man continued to descend, but much faster than the other two. He wanted to get this thing done and over with. He wanted to do anything to get V and him away from him.

Deathblade was impressed with Shiro's bravery, but disappointed with his language and his lack of action. Using that sort of language only proved that one could not control his anger. Deathblade was about to answer V's question, but Shiro beat him to it in his anger.
”He needs us. Saxen and Deathblade can’t save his world alone.” After that statement, Shiro continued his rant and threatened him again.
"I don't care about this damned world!" Deathblade yelled after Shiro. It echoed in the vertical tunnel for a second or two. "I'll be right back," he whispered to V. He then allowed Saxen to take his body back, but Deathblade formed his own next to Saxen.
Deathblade ________________ Deathblade let himself fall backward and plummet toward the ground. The faceplate disappeared to reveal a vampire-like smile. He grabbed the wall again right next to Shiro, and looked him in the eye, showing off his features. The features of a killer. "Why don't we settle this now? There's ground not too far down. We could be down and settle this before they can catch up. If you really want to kill me, follow me and have your fair chance!" With that, he, once again, fell backward and began his uncontrolled descent to the ground below. He landed on his feet, forced to a kneeling position for a moment, then stood up, waiting for Shiro to follow.
Saxen ________________ Saxen's head still hurt a little bit from his exertion just a few minutes ago. He almost fell before he realized where he was. He shook his head before talking to V. "Where's Deathblade? What did he do now?" his voice was panicked and his eyes showed his fear. He wasn't sure, but he felt like something bad just happened. He stopped climbing for a second and rested his head against the wall. "Please . . . tell me they aren't going to kill each other . . ."
V had not expect Shiro to go into such a rage like he did, though she knew he would get mad. She reached out for him, trying to tell him that it was ok, but before she knew it he turned to her to answer the question she had ask deathblade. ”He needs us. Saxen and Deathblade can’t save their world alone." he had said, he then turned to Deathblade, and looking at him with the fiercest look she's ever seem from her love listened as he continued to speak saying, ”So if you want us to save your damn world from going into hell, I suggest you don’t piss off the only people in this fucking universe that will actually help you two. So before we continue down, let me say this. If you cross the line one more time, Deathblade, I’m done with this shit. So you better watch it.”
The girl didn't know if she should be happy or scared. Sure, she appreciated the fact that Shiro was willing to protect her but, still the words he had said showed a side of her love that she did not like to see. She watched as he raced past deathblade and her, his speed increasing as he continued on downward, falling into a small crook. She wasn't sure what to do, suddenly she heard deathblade yell, "I don't care about this damned works!" He then whispered to V, "I'll be right back." And instantly from what she saw split apart from Saxen's body, his new one standing right beside his comrade. He then dashed off after Shiro and before she could do anything, he was gone.
She turned to face Saxen, who looked as if he might fall. She rushed towards him asking, "Are you ok?" And making sure he was stable on his feet, tried to think of what she should do. She then looked at Saxen as he asked where Deathblade was, and what he had done. V didn't answer, there was just too much happening for the girl to reason out what had happened herself. She look down into the cave, where Shiro and deathblade had gone, a look of sadness in her eye's. She then heard Saxen ask, "Please...tell me they aren't going to kill eachother."
It was then V's thoughts instantly went away, her eye's widened and before she knew it, she sprinted off hoping that nothing bad would happen once she reached the two other men. Her heart began to race, oh where was Shira when she needed her? Why hadn't she said anything this entire time? Well there was no time to think about that now, what matter was that she reached Deathblade and Shiro, and prevent a soon-to-be death fight.
Shira
Meanwhile while all that craziness was happening, Shira was quietly waiting inside the depths of V's soul, wondering when they would reach the place where she would finally get her own body. She sighed, as she thought about so many memories and V and her had shared, the adventures they had togeather, and how all of that would end after today. Did she really want this? After a these years, she had thought about her disappearance in V's life, and yet she was given a chance to still live. How interesting life worked sometimes, but who was she to judge?
She blowed out into the black void she was in, her eye's closing for a mere secound. "Perhaps this is a bad idea." she murmured to herself, her thoughts were then taken away as she heard V in her head start to panic. She opened a mind link to her nicer persona and narrowing her eye's asked. "What's wrong?" "Well it's about time you finally said something!" was V's reply. Shira tilted her head to the side, "Why? What happened?"
At first V was silent but then she heard the girl say, "An incident happened, and now I fear Deathblade and Shiro are gonna kill eachother!" "Shiro and Deathblade huh?" Shira repeated, a tint of annoyance in her voice. "Those idiots...well there's no need to worry V-" "What do you mean no need to worry!?" V shouted mentally, interrupting Shira. "This is serious! They could both get seriously hurt!!" Shira sighed, "Listen...it'll all be fine." she said calmly. "How do you know?" V asked. "Because..." The darker persona replied, a smile slowly creeping across get face. "Shiro's smarter than that...He knows he doesn't stand a chance against deathblade...my guess is he'll reject deathblades challenge if asked."
"He's not as weak as he looks Shira." V replied defensively. Shira laughed, "please.." "He isnt!" V exclaimed, "He's actually quite strong." "Still doesn't mean he stands a chance." Shira said getting slightly annoyed with V, why was she defending that fool? It just didn't make sense to her. She stayed silent after that, and watching through V's eye watched, as her better half jumped down into the crook, anxious to see what they would find.

((Apparently, I didn't do a good enough job of describing the current environment. The cave that they are in currently is basically a large, vertical tube. A little way down, there's a crook in it. That's where Deathblade jumped to. Then, there's a slighter downward slope until a drop-off that leads to the caverns of the underground Anhnyqueg.))
