In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(( After much hard work and decision making, the ship from Twilight Town has taken off and reunited with those from Radiant Garden and Traverse Town. On board are both canons and OCs ready to explore the legendary world of Atlantis. A variety of standard and custom gummi ships have also been stored in the cargo area.
This thread the main hub for the Twilight crew. However, travel between any of three ships is both possible and encouraged. Feel free to have your character take one of the transport pods to another thread to meet the other adventurers.
After a bit of time to rest and get characters settled, the next stage of the expedition shall begin.
Note: it can be assumed that at this point, all OCs have been informed about the surface 'nature' of this expedition. I.e, they're off to find the lost world. ))

For ships constructed at such a rushed pace, the Ulysses fleet was no less grand than anything Nyra had ever seen before. From the tall windows before her Nyra could see the huge crests of the other two ships -- apparently, Twilight Town hadn't been the only world the crew had crashed upon.
Nyra recalled in her head the scattered conversations between her and the Ulysses crew members. Overtime the story had become unraveled. The escape pods had been part of a huge ship, part of an expedition to find a lost world, before the vessel was destroyed in a mid-air disaster.
Atlantis. The very name of the underwater world seemed almost unreal.
But more remarkable was the fact that Nyra had been offered to join the expedition. She and the others who had assisted at the crash site were all offered a position on the crew. It wouldn't just be fun and games, she knew. There would be danger, and they would be required to help and work like any other crew member. But when they reached the legendary Atlantis, the beautiful and mystical home of a lost civilization, Nyra believed it would all be worth it.
Nyra accepted the offer. Later, they'd left behind Twilight Town and boarded this new vessel, which would carry her towards who knew where. But flying on a whim from one place to a next suited her. Worrying about the future only tied one's feet to the ground.
"Jacob, Iggy!" Nyra called out. She'd become familiar with the names in the past few weeks. "Hurry, look! In a minute we won't be able to see it anymore!"
The warm glow of Twilight Town was quickly receding, rapidly becoming swallowed by the stars. Nyra watched it fade into the distance and couldn't help but grin.
Iggy lay awake, in his room, on his bed. The room was nothing special. All it had was a bed, a desk and a place for a few changes of clothes. He placed his hands behind his head, clasping them together. He took in a long breath while staring up at the ceiling. Closing his eyes he released the trapped air and opened his eyes again, revealing his fire-red eyes. "Well, this is the last place I thought I'd be right now."
The last few days had been quite eventful for Iggy. A day of looking around the Market Street had lead him onto a way off Twilight Town. A mission he had been trying to complete for quite sometime, to no success. He discovered that the wreakage he came across near the Clock Tower was from a crashed gummi ship. It's destination, a lost world filled with treasure and mysterys galore. Two of Iggy's favorite things.
This accident had been Iggy's ticket off the world. He had been offered a spot on the expedition in exchange for helping to collect supplies.
A light sleep almost took hold of his body before a voice rang out.
"Jacob, Iggy!" "Hurry, look! In a minute we won't be able to see it anymore!"
Iggy instantly recognized the voice as Nyra's. She was the first person that Iggy had introduced himself to at the crash site. The two had gotten to know each other enough to be considered friends. It was nice having someone to talk to. Something that he had been missing out on for as long as he could remember.
The teen jumped out of the bed and rushed out the door grabbing his sword as he moved out into the hall. "Ahhh! I hope I don't miss it...
Appearing behind Nyra Iggy tried pushing himself just a few inches higher off of the girl's head. He did this in hope of getting a quick, last look at Twilight Town as the Ulysses Fleet swam away in the open depths of space. Too late. Just as he was looking over Nyra the last light from Twilight Town had been swallowed by the vast expanse of space.
A low moan came from Iggy's throat. He wanted to see the world one last time since he had no clue when or if he would even return from the lost world they were going to explore.
With a joking shove Iggy laughed at Nyra, "Is it too much for one guy to ask to be informed when the last chance to see his home was?"
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she swiftly climbed up the ladder, reaching the ship's main hall at last. Even though she had been one of the first to board the newly built ship, the latina had immediately gone down to check the engines. The crew didn't need another system failure and personally she wasn't in the mood for crashing into an unknown planet again. The girl had checked every single system about a dozen times, including the secondary ones; anyone watching could easily notice how much she wanted the journey to go smoothly.
Building a new ship hadn't been an easy task at all; most of the materials she had found in the wreckage had turned out to be pretty much useless and there was only so much she could do with little to no supplies. But nonetheless, Audrey was quite satisfied with the finished product. Nyra, Roxas and the rest of Twilight Town's population had been quite helpful as well and some of them had even accepted to join the expedition. Though her fair share of rewards would be slightly affected by the newcomers, she knew it would be enough. The young mechanic was determined to go home with enough to set up her daddy's new shop.
"Hurry, look! In a minute we won't be able to see it anymore!"
Ramirez couldn't help but grinning at the scene. They were all quite excited to leave their homeworld at last, ready to pursue bigger and greater adventures beyond Twilight Town. She approached the duo, placing a hand on her right hip before speaking.
"You made that sound as if you weren't coming back again. Believe me, in a month or two you'll be back to that boring routine of yours, Iggy." Audrey snickered, playfully landing a punch on Nyra's shoulder as she resumed her stroll. "I'll leave you lovebirds alone for a while, just make sure you don't go rolling around the ship like a pair of eels."
As much as Audrey wanted to stay and chat with Nyra and Iggy, she knew there were some responsibilities she had to take care of first. Contact needed to be done with the other two ships to finally figure out the condition of the Ulysses crew as a whole. The latina took a seat near the intercom, fiddling with the channels before finally finding the one she was looking for. "Packard, I need you to link us with one of the other ships!"
"So I says to him, "What's wrong with my meatloaf?" and he says to me-"
Oh, she was just impossible!
"PACKARD!" Audrey shouted at the radio, getting a couple of strange looks from those around her.
"Oh, hold on a second Margie, I've got another call. Sinclair's on four, hun. Hello, Margie? Yes, so anyways, he says to me..."
Rolling her eyes, the young mechanic resumed her channel changing until finally being able to land on the desired one successfully. Sporting a big grin across her face, she took a deep breath before speaking. "Helga, can you read me? It's Audrey Ramirez."

"Yes Audrey, read you loud and clear," Helga's voice rang through the static before clearing up, "I take it everything ran smoothly for you. How are your numbers? One moment..."
Voices from the other side can be heard along with a sigh emiting from Helga's red painted lips out of annoyance. The rest of the sounds were muffled with Helga's hand. Seriously did their mothers taught them any home training to not disturb someone when they're on the phone...even when the phone's a little radio.
"I'm back; So who from the original crew do you still have? I have Milo and Mole," her eyes rolled with a cringe thinking about the geologist who could be who knows where piling up dirty in someone's bunker.

(round ends March 29th. You know how we roll. Post within the time limit no post orders. Let's get some bonding time before we smack you down with EXCITEMENT!!!!)
It had taken a while, but finally the Ulysses fleet was flying again, and unbeknownst to the rest of the crew, there was someone among them who was not who they claimed to be: literally. Lumaria sat in his quarters, polishing and sharpening the katana he'd taken off of the real Jacob Houn before taking on the man's apperance and...disposing of any evidence. The blade was just beginning to dull from lack of use, and so Lumaria had decided to fix it up.
"Jacob, Iggy! Hurry, look! In a minute we won't be able to see it anymore!" Lumaria heard from the hallway beyond his door. It was Nyra, the young girl that Lumaria had met when they'd first crashed in Twilight Town. He'd managed to "befriend" the naive girl so that he might make use of her if there was ever a need. A small, devious smile spread across his face, though any looking at him wouldn't recognize it as such, as he set aside the oils and whetstone he'd been using on the sword. He stepped out into the hallway, giving Audrey a nod in greeting as she passed him and walked down to join his "friends" Nyra and Iggy.
"What, haven't you ever been in space before?" Lumaria said with Jacob's voice as he neared the two, a small chuckle in his voice and a playful grin on his face. He moved over and looked out the window, managing to catch just the final shimmering rays of light from Twilight Town before it faded completely from view,"So, what kind of duties have they given you two aboard the ship?"
Nyra rolled her golden eyes at Iggy. "It's not my fault you're so slow," she retorted, returning the shove.
She didn't feel as bad about leaving Twilight Town behind. It was a lovely world, relaxing and warm, but she felt as if it was only a vacation. As always when on vacation, Nyra knew she would begin to grow restless the longer she lounged without doing anything. She'd only been there for two days, though. It was quiet, yes, but the plethora of alleyways kept the boredom at bay.
In any case, now wasn't the time to be pondering it. She was headed towards an underwater world, for goodness sake!
A voice sounded behind her, and Nyra turned, hands on hips.
"You made that sound as if you weren't coming back again. Believe me, in a month or two you'll be back to that boring routine of yours, Iggy."
Nyra almost groaned. Coming back for her meant coming back to Zetsu and his relentless training.
"I'll leave you lovebirds alone for a while, just make sure you don't go rolling around the ship like a pair of eels." She rolled her eyes - again - at Audrey's snicker.
"Iggy, is Twilight Town your home world?" she asked curiously as the woman strode away. "I was only there for a day or two when these guys crashed."
A voice cut his answer off. "What, haven't you ever been in space before?" Jacob walked into the room with a grin.
"As a matter of fact, I haven't," Nyra said, smirking. Then she corrected herself. "Actually, once. But that was by gummi ship. God, I didn't even know there were other worlds until a few days ago."
Look how far she'd come.
"I tried helping out on the other ship with cooking," Nyra replied to Jacob's question, "But they. . . uh, let me off the hook for that fairly quickly." She still smelled like burnt oatmeal. Who manages to burn oatmeal? "Now I 'sweep'. It takes me about half as long as some of these guys. And before you go all sexist on me, they told me to do it because I have a bit of wind power to help clean up the place."
Looking out the window again, suddenly Nyra had an idea. "Hey, wanna go on one of the other ships? We're gonna be working with all these guys once we land. Let's go check to make sure we didn't sign up alongside bunch of asses."
Iggy laughed at the statement. It had been a while since he actually had someone he could joke around with. It was a good feeling that put a big grin on his face. "Well I guess I'll just have to take lessons from the best, Master Nyra," he replied, laughing, with his hands clasped together and a low bow.
He watched as the stars outside the ship were slowly drifting along his line of view. All of those little shining specks were different worlds. Each with its own people and hidden mysteries. Iggy liked mystery and had a knack for poking his nose around where he shouldn't. That's what mostly drove him to joining this adventure. The promises of a lost world was all he needed to pack up and join.
Another voice pushed through the hair that covered Iggy's ears.
"You made that sound as if you weren't coming back again. Believe me, in a month or two you'll be back to that boring routine of yours, Iggy."
Iggy rolled his eyes and released a low sigh at the latina's statement. The last thing he wanted to think of was going back to his daily routine. It bored the hell out of him. He just wanted to go off, explore the worlds, and meet some fun people. Was that too much for one guy to ask?
Hearing Audrey's next sentence made Iggy blush a little. He turned slightly so no one would notice.
"I'll leave you lovebirds alone for a while, just make sure you don't go rolling around the ship like a pair of eels."
Iggy just watched as Audrey walked away to do whatever it was that was required of her. The latina humored him. She had a sense of humor that he took a liking too but she was also able to get down to business if needed.
"You'd like that little show wouldn't you Ms. Ramirez." The walls of the ship carried his voice down the hall to where Audrey was walking away.
"Iggy, is Twilight Town your home world?" "I was only there for a day or two when these guys crashed."
Iggy began to reply, "No, I woke up on Twilight Town when..." He was cut off by another member whom he met on the ground, Jacob.
"What, haven't you ever been in space before?"
"Well, unlike Master Nyra here," he motioned with a head nod and a chuckle, "I've never seen anything besides my world and Twilight Town."
Iggy replied to the next question after Nyra. "They got me on laundry duty." Zero percent of any type of fun was heard in his reply. Iggy hated doing laundry, especially other peoples. He messed up the first time he tried. He accidently put too much soap in the machine which resulted in a su per bubbly room. Now Iggy found this to be more fun than the actually duty, the ship's crew didn't.
"Hey, wanna go on one of the other ships? We're gonna be working with all these guys once we land. Let's go check to make sure we didn't sign up alongside bunch of asses."
Iggy hadn't thought about that. He would've been pissed if he touched ground only to find out that he had to work with a bunch of people that he didn't like.
"That sounds like a good plan Nyra, we'll be able to find out who the pricks are."
One of the metal doors behind them started to unlock as the metal wheel in the center spun around by itself. Then with a creaking sound it opened up and the dark skinned bald head of Doctor Sweet got stuck through. He looked at his right first, away from the three. Then he swung his head round at the three and his eyes got bigger and a smile erupted on his face as he spotted them. Overhearing the last part the good doctor stepped toward them and said: "I'm afraid I can't have you cross ships just yet. All personal have to report to me first for a physical exam. Everybody is getting one to evaluate the condition after that little bumpy landing on that lazy quiet town. This includes everybody."
The last part he said while looking at Jacob. Each soldier and member of the original Ulysses had to be checked also to make sure there were no hidden complications in their health that could be a problem in the future. Sweet slammed his hand together in front of him and rubbed the palms of his hands over each other. Seeming excited to conduct proper medicinal work once more. While flashing his pearly white teeth's in a big grin he asked joyous: "Well?... Who's first?"

On the same frequency as the ship of Helga Sinclair, another signal started to interfere. The reception was bad as the signal still came from far away, but the familiar voice of Lyle Rourke was definitely recognisable.
"Attent..., .his is commander Lyle Rou... of th. ..lantis Expedition. Calling ... .. all survivors of the Ulys... We are near... the rendez-vous coördi...... Lieu...... ...clair, .... Ramirez, I requi.. . ..atus report."
Lumaria put a fake, playful grin on his face at his "friends'" answers. Laundry and cooking and sweeping, huh? Quite interesting...
"I wonder why they didn't want you cooking, Nyra?" He said playfully, a small chuckle in his voice,"They didn't have to pump your cooking out of someone's stomach, did they?
"But, yeah, I agree. I could use a little time to stretch my legs. I don't have security detail until tomorrow anyway, so I have the time. Let's catch one of the small shuttle ships to the other ships."
Just as Audrey intended to reply, the lieutenant excused herself for a moment. It seemed as if she was surrounded by several others who, despite the obvious importance of the call, continued to bombard the blonde with statements, questions and concerns. The latina couldn't help but to agree with the other woman's thoughts. Her own temper was even shorter than Helga's and one could say that, unlike Rourke and Milo, she wasn't gifted with such a virtue.
Fortunately the lieutenant didn't take more than a few moments to return to their conversation. After letting out a sigh of her own, the mechanic was finally able to speak. "Well, I won't lie. We did lose quite a few men in the crash," She decided to leave out the Seed incident, at least for now. Sinclair surely had better things to do than listening to a tale. "Fortunately around twenty survived, maybe thirty, including Joshua and Packard. We even managed to recruit-"
Audrey suddenly stopped talking, detecting an interfering signal in the frequency they were using. The mechanic was about to suggest a channel change when Lyle Rourke's certainly familiar voice was heard through the radio. Even though the commander's statement couldn't be listened to perfectly, she immediately knew what she had to do.
"Audrey Ramirez here. We have about twenty, thirty survivors, Sweet and Packard are doing fine. I managed to build another ship in this "Twilight Town" and, so far, she's being quite charming. All systems are working perfectly."

Static filled Ramirez's speaker, and Helga's voice ranged with urgency to see if their connection has been broken, "Ramirez...Ramirez!"
But her voice has fizzed out with the static voice of Rourke coming in. Both parties were silent when Rameriz annouced her report, and Hegla's voice picked up again.
"Sinclair, present, as for reporting, we've managed to port in a world called Traverse Town. Along the way we have picked up recruits and found...some unwanted company that maybe present once we arrive." She glanced back wondering if she was being hovered over again before crossing a leg over the other, "They are called "heartless"; they come in various sizes and are typically black with yellow eyes. I've recorded that some even bare a symbol, a red heard with thorned 'x' in the middle. With our artillery, we can stand up against them fine. I will say that they may interfere with our mission and protocol. Just tell Vinny to pack up the big boys just in case we run into bigger fish to fry."
After a couple of minutes, Rourke's voice sounded again. This time much clearer and without interference.
"Lieutenant, Ramirez. You both have done exceptionally well. Do not beat yourself up for the ones we have lost. I'm sure you have done anything humanly possible to save as many as you could. We too have suffered losses. But we all knew the risk when we signed up for this mission. There was no mistake in that. The only thing we can do is move on in their honor. With the transmission now clear I'm sending over more detailed instructions on how to continue for both of you. Lets form up to a proper fleet. Rourke out."
Shortly after that, a message was transmitted. Containing more detailed explanation on how to continue the expedition. Fleet formations and redistribution of men and material mostly. As well as a newly formed list of all the new people that Rourke had picked up on Radiant Garden. With the request to update these lists.
