In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

This means we need plot ideas, vast and many in order to keep it from meeting the same fate as it's predecessor. Characters from the Mulan series now have a prominance. If anyone would like to chip in, add or comment, here is the place to do so.
The war and razings continue. Shan-Yu has been defeated but is not done. His war rages on and Shang and Mulan lead the Chinese Army to save their homeland and drive the Huns back. But as their World is once again made open, to the Heroes of other World's help or hinder, and which side will reap their benefits?
well the chinese empire is a very vast region. And with the armies fighting off mostly invading huns, other regions are left unnattended and to their fate. Visitors from other worlds arive to cause havoc and threats to the empire so the emperor himself calls on heroes from other worlds to fix the problem, in a zen-fen shui kinda way of thinking.
family guardians are also a good idea to use in plots. guardians corrupted by darkness and stuff.
a typical treasure hunt perhaps, ancient monastaries in difficult to reach places where old secrets of china are guarded. components must be gathered to form a seal to protect the empire from the darkness.
there is much to do with the setting. lots of chinese fairytales, legends that can be used as inspiration.
- Ellie proposed a plot idea while back, though the most that I can remember is that it involved dragons. Perhaps there could be four, one guarding each compass point/element (wind, fire, ect.)/region of China. They gradually become conquered by darkness, but as another war begins to rise, the only way to emerge victorious would be with the strength of the guardian dragons. However, first the darkness corrupting the dragons must be destroyed (going with IUMA's idea of corrupted family guardians).
Also, a razed village or two could serve as bases. Members could help restore those when they weren't fighting.
I definitely think we should be including Chinese folklore into this. The elements, creatures such as the Nine Dragons, Feng and Huang (king and queen of birds, equivalent of western phoenix), the zodiac, ect.
Actually, I like the idea of working off the Zodiac in some way.
I also would like to point out that in china they have 5 elements. namely wood, fire, earth, metal and water. instead of the western belief of 4 elements.

- That what was the old plot fart in my head composed of o3o decomposition of the world since...a dragon have le poofed the Storm Rider who can easily be the water element, which leaves 4 dragons. Also it being Land of Dragons I omited the phoenix whoo balances the sky dragon for draconic yin and yang (scoops up old fart and puts it in ze trashy bing)
- If we include other Chinese folklore it should be more dragon orientated, since it is Land of Dragon whiiich I think in its journal >> is fueled by the power of the dragons. Also getting too cultural with Chinese mythology may waterdown the concept of war that was an involvement in both Mulan and Mulan II
Hey guys, Kokoran here. Methinks I might have an idea that could POSSIBLY work.
The Land of Dragons, while also being the warzone of the Mongols and the people of China, is facing a much deeper, darker war.
The Sea of Harmony (yin-yang idea I got goin here), a sacred pool of water tied to the world's very heart, is begining to stir. Dark times are ahead, and the pool itself is begining to become corrupted to the darkness of the world. The balance of Good and Evil has slowly swayed, and the Land of Dragon's fate could lie upon the pool's influence.
To counter this (or to encourage the darkness), Heroes (Heroines)/ Villians (Villianesses), are being sent out to find the 12 crytal statues of the (chinese) zodiac, each a piece of the puzzle to win the war against the opposite force.
The hunt won't be easy: the statues only appear after certain circumstances, a guardian willingly gives it, blah blah blah... You get it.

I like, Kokoran. We can implement the Dragons there too. Once all the crystals have been found, they could have to be presented before the Dragons to alleviate the darkness corrupting them.
The Chinese army can assist.

Anyway, my brother came up with another suggestion.
The Terra Cota Army (here's where I add my idea) has been founded by the Dark XIII and they have found a way to animate the army to do their bidding.
The stone army is causing chaos all over the world, and there's only one way to stop it: By forming the Tablet of the Army by combining it's six shards, allowing the wielder to banish the army, freeing the imprisoned ancestors in the body. OR the wielder can give the army the ability to steal hearts from people, and giving the stone warriors qualities of Heartless.
(P.S. Thanks Zeph. Glad you liked the first idea ;D)

-3- nu stretching the boards. o-o that just makes me think of that very suckish XD Mummy trilogy. Also >> a simple Heartless Possessor can take over their bodies..so that will send a chain affect of not needing ancestrial spirits involved...because they are juuust statues. With that said, I doubt it can get anymore exciting than...a fight thread.
You knooow the KH2 rendition of Mulan...was truly blegh within itself. The 'heartless' and brutality of the huns..was traded with Heartless. With kingdom hearts...all the blame of bad stuff...is always heartless heartless heartless...and they been deemed to run on instincts...making the evil very watered down...because >> how can they take responsibility if they are mindless....the same can be seen in Narnia D: oh no Edmund wasn't bad >> he was hexed by the wiiitch ==;; he had some points in there too.
So I guess to get the essence of Land of Dragons...you need...Efficient >> killing spree war...with its twinge of spiritual reality. So I'm all for the Huns + Dragons issue >> but don't make it soft...but give an actuall sense of danger and hazard.
ACTUALLY. The Chinese have five creatures based on CARDINAL DIRECTIONS, with a fifth dragon that looms over all the rest. Elements are incorporated secondary into the myths.
"The Azure Dragon [Qinglong Çàýˆ] spirits, most compassionate kings. The Vermillion Dragon [Zhulong Öìýˆ] spirits, kings that bestow blessings on lakes. The Yellow Dragon [Huanglong üSýˆ] spirits, kings that favorably hear all petitions. The White Dragon [Bailong °×ýˆ] spirits, virtuous and pure kings. The Black Dragon [Xuanlong Ðþýˆ] spirits, kings dwelling in the depths of the mystic waters.[11]
>>With the addition of the Yellow Dragon of the Center to Azure Dragon of the East, these Vermillion, White, and Black Dragons coordinate with the Four Symbols, including the Vermilion Bird of the South, White Tiger of the West, and Black Tortoise of the North.<<"
So it goes like this: Black Tortoise = North Azure Dragon = East White Tiger = West Vermillion Bird = South Yellow Dragon = Center
I petition that we use these cardinal direction creatures to continue the story. Different animals could have different personalities, and some may even side with the Darkness...
(And if we need characters to play them I would totally do it. I love Chinese mythology. I will probably join the plot this time.)
So we've got our general cast. Now for the hard part - the screenplay. Keep on brainstorming here, everyone. A nice large MSN plot meeting will help bring it all together.
