In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

A lone figure quietly entered through one of the underground entrances. Clothed in a very baggy hoodie and having the hood up, it was difficult to tell what this person was up too. All that could be said was that he could mean trouble and that it was best to stay away from him. Carrying with him a simple backpack that seemed quite filled to the brim, he carried it almost effortlessly through the tunnels.
He did not have very far too go. It was a short trip to the spot he intended to get to, the one unique area in the very middle that had three access ways, making it sort of a cross road in the tunnels.
Before climbing down the steps, he looked around to see if anyone was watching. So far, no presence. He stood still, as if focusing very deeply on some kind of thought. After a while, he felt satisfied.
With no one around in sight, the being finally removed the hood to reveal that he was in fact a she, a red haired, freckled, blue eyed she.
"OK, looks good, I don't sense anyone around," She calmly said as she climbed into the center area, "Looks like good ol' Morgan get's to have the tunnels all to herself today! Good thing too, I have a lot of homework to get through." Morgan had made it a habit of coming to the tunnels when she wanted a quiet place to read, study, or do her homework.
Today it was homework time, and her assignment was to write a book report. She was to read a whole book, make an analysis, and write her thoughts on the book, including a simple synopsis, opinions, and certain comparisons to other books she may have read. The book she chose was a good old fashioned classic, Alice in wonderland.
"I've always wanted to read this one!" Morgan said as she pulled her pencil, note book, and finally the book in question, "I only just found out about it, and had to request that they order it from one of the other branch libraries so I could borrow it. Talk about an anxious wait! I'm actually surprised it took me this long to find out about it! A book this popular should have been read a loooooong time ago! I wonder what people would think if they learned I haven't read this yet? They'd prolly laugh at me and call me late for the party..." She was tempted to hide her face at the mention of that, feeling embarrassed that she has never read this book before, but she reminded herself that she was alone, thus there was no fear of being seen here.
"Welp," she said as she opened the first few page's, "Better get started! Ok... 'Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank-'"
As far as Morgan was concerned, she was totally and completely alone, so there was no way for her to tell if anyone was coming through at this time unless they made their presence known.

Erik walked through the tunnels not caring where he was going. It was one of those days where he just needed a break from some of his friends and needed to either relax or meet some new people. Right now he was just taking a relaxing stroll, but if he met someone new he wouldn’t be opposed to talking to them. Of course, it isn’t too often that he would find someone in the tunnels that wasn’t just passing through.
While he was walking through the tunnels he started murmuring to himself, “Man, this place is so relaxing, I don’t know why I don’t spend more days walking through here.” Erik reached to his back and felt his struggle bats, he never went anywhere without them, after all, struggle was sort of his life. Maybe he would find someone in the tunnels willing to practice with him, but he didn’t really expect that. Not too many people seem to want to struggle with some stranger that they just met while passing by.
Stopping for a moment, Erik looked around and realized that he must have been lost in thought for quite a while, he had been wandering around and he didn’t even realize how far he had gotten. With this, Erik decided to look around and see if he might notice anyone, it was strange that the tunnels were so under populated today; normally he would have at least met one or two people passing by. Looking a bit to the distance he was able to make out the figure of someone reading a book.
Heading towards the person he realized that it was a girl, definitely one that he hadn’t met before. Curious about what the girl was reading he asked rather loudly, “Hey, what are you reading?” If the girl hadn’t noticed Erik earlier, she probably would have now, realizing that he had spoken a little too loudly Erik developed a slight blush but quickly tried to cover it up. Standing up straight he awaited a response.
