In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Come what May
A blue crystal was burning brightly and dwindling with energy as if it held a living pulse, energy, or better yet a silent scream.
"AAAAAAAAAH!" A pair of fisted hands banged into the window peering into the outside world. Blue nails scratched against the surface as the window fogged up from the heavy exhales and screams. The shouted a died town to a sob as the usual blue tinted eyes had a shade of red. Thin blue brows shifted from waved sorrow to a scrunched furry. Her lips pursed tightly as she inhaled sharply before shouting loudly summoning ice to her call.
From the outside, it was dead silent in Vexen's lab; the only loudness was a bright blue burning brighter before it clicked louder with a crack. From the small crack, a sharp whish of mist steamed from the crystal chilling the room even more than before. A high-pitched squeal turn into a scream as the bog grew bigger and spires ice extruded from it.
Stumbling out, a sapphire maiden rose up, and her tensed shoulders laxened with a sigh; she was free...for now, but she needed to spot the others. She padded around the room immune to the cold floors sensing, listening, stalking. There wasn't any whisper from a fellow Aeon; there wasn't a crystal insight.
"HERMES!" She telepahtically shouted, but it went of deaf ears; her face wavered to a worried look; she couldn't feel any of them. Searching for an exit, she stepped on something...wooden. Looking down, a sad smile spread across her face as she knealed down to touch Spark, her summoner's staff. A chuckle choked through her chest remembering their adventures and endeavors, his generosity, and sincerity.
"I will not fail you; I was to help and look after you, and even now I-I w-will," her voice cracked as she held herself back from crying, but it turned into a hissing spiteful determination,"I will seek...no DEMAND retribution for what they've done to you sweet Artemis. I will find the others...free them from whatever forsaken treachery they're stuck in if they haven't already faded... or just as lost."
Aphrodite rose with Sparks firmly in her hand; she knew she needed a willingly soul throughout her pligrimmage, but she was far to enrage to be hospital and warm, "First...bittersweet vengence."
Sparks was thrusted into the air as the blue crystal gleamed and flashed with a glint of yellow. Bolts danced around it as it fueled reacting to the rage that was wielding it, "Come what May."
Lightening danced towards the most fragile glasses causing them to scorch and shatter, but the damage wasn't anywhere near satisfaction. Taking it to another physical level, Aphrodite gripped the staff like an axe and bat and commence swinging it around damaging shelves of data. Lightening ripped from the staff's tipped as it crashed into another object lodging it into the air until a wall demolished it.
"AAAAH," she swung with her might as blizzara darted throughout the room.
"GAAAAAH!" Her mouth stretched to it longest capacity as a large block of ice was summoned with a shimmer of blue mist. With a throwing wave of her arms, it ripped through the air crashing against valuable equipment, "COME OUT YOU LOW-LIVES SUPERCILIOUS COWAAAAAaRDS!"
Her throat stung with her yelling a choked with a sob, "I pray to Yevon you are DAAAAMNED! I pray when I slay you, you'll become an unsent, then a friend for I CAN SLAY YOU LIKE THE PIGS YOU AAAARE!"
Another blizzard attack was unleashed in the room. The temperature had dropped to a freezing level, and the blue mist had accummilated to the aeon's thighs as it seeped under the door.
I need to get out of here
She stomped through the room immune the chill ignoring the occassional crunches as she stepped on who knows what. Bringing her legs up high, she let it ripped.
Bang! the door swung open with a harsh impact. Hell fath no furry like a woman's scorn.
As the door slammed open, a swirl of darkness could be seen through the mist that emerged from the room, large enough to envelop the hooded man standing inside it, who held out a single hand towards the Aeon.
"So you're the one that got away..."
As the darkness disappeared, one could see the shimmering orb that the Whirlwind Lancer held in hand, floating an inch above his palm. It shone with a light that appeared to be all colors at once, and yet white all the same. The feeling of a conscious emitted from it, and as he pulled his hand back and slid the orb into his pocket, the man then pointed at the Aeon and said,
"It appears I have something you want, Aeon."
And with that, lances appeared, three held in his hands and three in the air around him. As he pointed a single one at the female figure, he began to float off the floor an inch or two, ready to evade of necessary.

A growl stirred up at her throat as blue hair whipped wildly as she turned to face whomever with accussing blue eyes. She merely snorted at him before spitting out coldly, "and you must be the coward...a blasphemy of life."
How dare he step up to her with only a hood on his face. Her fingers twitched, but she just stood still watching as he spoke. She could feel it like a thunder through silent clouds, a first heartbeat, and one's first breath of air. Her eyes was harder than ice now as he slid the precious heart away from her, "and you will rue the day you dare took it, and it's Shiva to you"
On the last word, she thrusted Spark forward to see thunder attack followed by a watera, three balls of consecutively flies at the Nobody. The aeon stood on her toes to back away; she was just as good in evading, so her eyes scanned for those pesky lances.
He's more of a coward than I thought...even pigs have more value and worth.
"I am nowhere near a coward, Shiva. More like a strategist. Now, if you want this heart back, you will have to work with me. Resist...well, there will be no resistance.
Xaldin spoke this as the spells struck a shield of air enveloped around himself, deflecting them in opposite directions. A low chuckle emitted from under the hood, and he pointed the lance in his right hand forward, speaking one simple word.
"Capture."
Dragoons and Dusks appeared from their portals, each dancing around the Aeon of ice, ready to ensnare her if any resistance was met.
"Now, come with me or fight. But, I'm afraid to say, it won't be much of a fight, Aeon."

Aphrodite casual glanced at the fiends. They looked miniscule compared to the native fiends she was around; at this a chuckle escaped her chest, "It seems cowards' tongues here are just as sly as basilisk; coward, strategist...more like a daft."
He was primarly a fool to think that he could even be registered as compontent enough to even utter or forsee obedience for her. It seems strategist can only see as far as the tip of their noses. A pair of sapphire eyes just looked at Xaldin with lack of pity, and the harshness of despise was glossed over by an empty of void of apathy and nothing. "You made little improvement coward. At least you know that you will not be collecting me"
The last word was snarled as she gripped Spark. Tapping it on the floor, a ring of thunder surrounded her before firing lightening at the fiends who were too close. With a whistle, she called a watera spell to follow suit.
The low chuckle could be heard again as the magical attacks took out his Dragoons, the water flowing around his shield before lowering. As it did, he manipulated the field of air around him, causing water to rise in a waterspout to the ceiling of the castle. As it expanded, a loud crack could be heard, and then the wind died down, sending the water flying in all directions.
Xaldin was still floating in the same place, but behind him was a figure Shiva would know well.
"A sufficient distraction was necessary...Now, attack, Hades."
With a hesitant look to Xaldin, Hades stood in a stance of battle, ready to fight his fellow Aeon.

The fiends were simple enough to deal with, but she didn't see why he was finding this humorous. As the water broke free, she merely held a hand up for it can curve away from her. Her poise was still erect and noble like the priestess she was fashioned off of; what was only unlady like was the threatening grip she had on Sparks. Oh how she admired the imagery of off the man with his head; she very well remembered his face and his voice. Being elusive from her forever was close to not getting cold in a snow storm.
Her eyes narrowed at him as she spoke; she truly perferred him silent; she hummed wondering what in the worlds could his distraction have against her. His lances were coming towards her, so what card did he held? Until she heard the name, her head jerked to look up once feeling the polarity. Her blue tresses swayed, while the golden rings clang against each other like chimes.
Her joy was bittersweet, because she knew damned right something was off and severely wrong; her mind rewound the words; the blasphemer had ordered her fellow companion to attack her. Surely he wasn't going to subject himself with mutiny.
What is the meaning of this Hades? Explain yourself! Her voice was demanding and obviousl angered, while her stance remained the same as a silent argument continued,Why do you stand with that fiend of all creatures? You would be shaming your own Fayth, Yevon, and all that we stand for.
She wanted to shout treason at him for her can hear her wrath, but she wasn't going to get the other satisfaction of her misconduct. Instead, she made her voice bounce within the dragon's cranium for he could never forget her voice, her anger, and her accusation.
How dare you spit on the boy who gave you the second name you bare, and let him use it like a beast master calling it's pet..
You know it is my key duty to protect Artemis, and you endanger his very heart! I am sorry, but if we resist at all, the heart will be destroyed...
Understand why I am doing this...
As Hades raised his arms, greedy flames enveloped them, burning hot. As he pointed them at Shiva, he was ready to fire off his spell when Xaldin stepped forward on air and raised his hand in a stop position.
"What Hades has said to you is correct. Show any sort of resistance, and the boy's heart will be destroyed before you will know it. Submit to my will, though, and you may have it, once all of his Aeons are gathered. It's simple as that."
He stepped back, his hood high enough to show the lower part of his face, and it was obvious to see that he was faking an emotion.
In an utter silence, only 3 corridors away, silence rang out. Darkness flashed, as the well known dark portal appeared. A cloaked figure emerged, his face shielded by the darkness of the hood over his head. Bringing his fingers to his head, Zexion tugged the hood down, revealing his long steel blue hair. Without a sound, Zexion stalked forward, crouching as he sensed darkness near. It was a strong force, one that only an immortal could give off. It gave a powerful scent. One that could only be identified by
Hades.
As he followed the scent, he noticed two other senses. One of which was very familiar to him. Zexion sneered as he thought the name, which was..well, someone like him.
Xaldin.
The other was very similar to the first, only without the pulsing sign of darkness. It was a scent very similar to one he remembered. What was the name of the worthless Aeon....it was...Artemis. Yes, Zexion remembered that goddess. He would never forget.
Not able to identify the unusual smell, Zexion set off forward in hopes of capturing both Aeons for testing. Through the last corridor were the three people, or creatures, per say. As he opened the door, he saw his friend, as well as Hades. To the other part of the room was the surprise. An Ice Aeon, eh? This was truly a very important day, was it not? As he looked at Xaldin and the Aeon, he let out a sinister smile, and then sneered;

<just clarification. Artemis is there summoner XD and sooo not a goddess hehehe I got a good chuckle out of that one. HEY CHRIS Your CHARRIES A CHIIICK!>
And you so foolishly think that Artemis would want you to cosine with his murderer. Obviously you have been away from your post for too long, and if you so desired to protect him maybe you would've shown yourself to him like I have, or even loyal stayed by his side like Apollo! The Aeon hissed venomously in Hades mind in a spiteful manner; she never hated her fellow aeons or had estranged relations with them. Right now, she was acting far beyond her protocol and purpose; she was angry, furious, dissappointed. She was marveling more like a hume by the moment as she press every button to make Hades feel guilty and buckle underneath that draconic exterior of his.
Her eyes hardened once hearing Xaldin's voice again; she coldly lifted up a hand and gestered to him that she had no intent of listening and highly desired for him to silence his tongue; her demeanor of a figure with authority wavered through as she ignored the nothingness.
I wonder how your fayth can even bare to stay atombed knowing what you're doing! His fayth was the 'representative', and she would rather be damned than for him to find this just reasoning; then again what was to be expected from humans. Despite the fayth's only being souls, they still act humane and are imperfect; with that said, it wouldn't be surprising if an aeon was to act the same.
Her agitation was becoming of her as a brow arched at the steely haired youth; their foreign and abomination nature was irking her very core. It was disgusting in how life can deterioate to such levels making it all disturbing. For a moment her eyes narrowed wondering in what forsaken practices have they dived into to give them a cursed life. For their offness, she couldn't see them as human, while lacking a word for them altogether except a blasphemy and ink spot on life like the heartless. It's as if they are the opposite of what's life to be, and it seems they have lost their humanity to even make them relatable.
"So you like an audience, Xaldin," ooh how she said that name with spite and spit; speaking the name made her voice hiss like a serpent, which only just muddle her views on this abstract image of a man, "be my guest, have witness of your failure for you will not collect me nor will I succumb to your barbaric campaign. You threaten us aeons because you need us, and your are not worthy for our servitude, our friendship, our cooperation, or our loyalty."
"You dare threaten us with a heart," she chuckled,"you little one no nothing and understand nothing...perhaps because...that's all you are. The power we have is by that heart and the person behind it; you will never reach the power of that heart for you have none." Yes, she can feel that offness, smell it, and maybe even taste it. Their foreigness is due to missing and lacking something, something valuable and irrereplaceable, a heart. If they had such thing, they would need to threaten others with one. "For that I would pity you, but clearly you are incompetent to understand pity or mercy. With that I, Shiva, will vow that you will weep what you sow, and maybe when a cloud is over your head...you will weep or even begin to understand the meaning of it."
She cut her eyes from him and focus solely on Hades as she sent a silent message that didn't need words; she knew his intent; they are aeons afterall, but all in all she pities and apologizes for their predicament of feeling trapped to fall into this submssion. By the harshness of her eyes and erect stance, she already vouched that she wasn't going to coincide or even co-exist with the likes of them. Still there was a subtle gleam of kindness as she felt a promise to all the Aeons; when she's done, hell would frost over and all can rest in peace.
Aphrodite, I have no choice! You are the only one of us free, and I will NOT allow you to be captured by the likes of him!
Xaldin just stood there, still as a sentinel, until another familiar voice rattled his thoughts. He had felt the quirk of power, but had brushed it off as a Dusk, meaningless. However, the appearance of the illusion Nobody quirked his interest, for the boy was merely a scientist at heart, and was obviously drawn to the Aeons.
"Zexion, not a moment too soon...sorry, but these Aeons are of no purpose to your goals. You'll simply get in the way if anything happens, so I suggest you watch and learn."
After that finished, Hades gave Shiva one last look before the flames on his hands intensified in power, as Xaldin pulled a card from his sleeve and threw it at the floor, watching as it merged with the floor and emitted a bright light. The whole room changed form, replicating to one of which Shiva would know well.
It was a memory from Apollo, one of the Summoning of the Final Aeon. As the image finally formed, Hades sent fire shooting into the sky as Xaldin yelled over the roar of the flame.
You call yourself holy beings when you fuse with a monster! Something so hypocritical...it amuses me. Now meet your match!"
And with that, fire rained from the sky, all aiming at the ice Aeon.
Looking at his partner with sheer disgust, he snarled out to him in annoyance.
"Oh but they will be useful once shown to the superior."
Zexion knew that the Organization could use the Ice Aeon for quite a bit of tasks. Maybe even collecting hearts. Or tracking down a flowery traitor. Without so much of a glance at Hades, he turned to Shiva. The Aeon was about to be melted..officially. So why not make her fear it more? As he quickly formed his idea, Zexion laughed in success. This was going to be perfect, as well as hysterical. Faked emotions filled him.
"Aeon, What do you think of...This?"
As the words snapped at the Aeon, Zexion raised his hand, creating an Illusion. Fire. Flames crackled up everywhere except for where Shiva stood. The heat from the actual fire would confuse her, and she wouldn't be able to tell where fire was, and where it wasn't. Zexion looked back to Xaldin. And he actually thought that Zexion wasn't bringing the Ice Aeon as a test subject. Foolish. Zexion would capture her, and take her to the superior, and maybe even to Vexen.

The Ice Aeon snorted at Hades; oh yes he wouldn't allow her to be captured, but he would play along with this ploy. Was it a romantic gothic sense to be freed by flames? Regardless, she wasn't going to roll over easily; her usually warmth had evolved into cold tenacity fueled by the yearn for vengeful retribution. With her shere will power, she wouldn't even allow herself to fail or be trumped; she would rather die trying, and she would only a rise from the ashes like a pheonix and continue her pilgrimmage.
Seeing the flames, Aphrodite had the speed that Hades lacked, so avoiding the attack was simplistic; her blue hair swayed as she moved gracefully, blue dancing away from red. Stopping with grace, she watched the flames bruised the pale white floors of this emotionless building before her eyes shifted over to Xaldin.
"Well oh ignorant one I suppose your never listened to the old wise tale that monstrosity comes from within; perhaps you can take a gander at your reflection for first hand experience."
The more she lingered upon their faces and name, the more she learned and remembered about them. Her blues eyes swished over like a harsh wave at Zexion. She looked up at him as with a cold gaze; with her long servitude, she found it insulting that he would expect her to weep like a babe over flames; of-course it was a conflicting element, but that was an accepted fact not a terrifying horror; to be afraid of fire was to be afraid of Hades, and fear wasn't amongst the relations of Aeons. Actually some would suspect that they were more counterparts; ice and fire, brutal strength and tactiful evasiveness. They could probably enter an endless dance; also being essentially immortal spirit had it perks as well.
She snorted, while accumulating blue mist. Holding her palm up toward the runt, who should've just kept hushed, she sent Watera to part the flames and attack him, "Tacky."
Watera:12
Edit:
Blue mist accumulated as it whisp around the aeon. Her blue dreads whipped as she looked at Hades, I'll come for you.
As teh Aeon disappeared after Zexion used the Illusion, Xaldin let himself float to the ground, and looked to the Bahamut behind him, giving a mental dismissal.
Then, turning to Zexion, he gave the Nobody a level stare.
"Find out where the Aeon went, and capture it using any means necessary. You will rendezvous with Xigbar in Twilight Town in three days, for assistance in finding the Aeon."
Then, with a flourished spin on his heel, he opened a portal and stepped through, seething in anger that the Aeon had disappeared.
