In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Okay okay okay okay okay so. Anyway.
As you may or may not know, at Tokyo Game Show, they had a demo of 3D. We have Neku in Sora's story in Traverse Town. *squeal* Apparently he has some freaky companions (a dog and a squirrel) who aren't Donald and Goofy. As we can see, Sora looks like... his KH1 self... but he has like a crossbreed of his old and new clothes, creating this... thing xD Riku goes to the Notre Dame world *whose name I can't spell* and he has short hair. Say what? Again, his clothes look like a crossbreed of his KH1 and KH2 attire. He has the weirdo companions as well (a unicorn? and a bat) We do have a button (the X button) saved for Freeflow, or interaction with environment. Everything seems to work similarly to KH: BbS and Coded.
In both demos, there is a boss fight. Riku can fly in one of them, and apparently they look AMAZING in 3D.
It kinda looks like Riku with short hair, BUT THEN YOU SEE HIS HAIR IN THE BACK. There's probably NO connection, but it does, doesn't it? ANYWAY, THANKS FOR SHARING! AHHHH!!!! RIKU SHORT HAIR, SORA NEW CLOTHES!!!!!! SO EXCITED!

Oh my god! I LOVE bats and fat unicorn type things!
It's nice to see KH get a few more non-human original characters!
EDIT: Oops! Somehow missed Neku's name in the title ... Anywho, that's insanely awesome as well!
It also turns out that the new enemies of the game are called "Dream Eaters" ... Is the bat and fat thing supposed to be an ally or enemy? Can't tell from the scan.

They look so young again... I can't tell if that's young-Sora and young-Riku, or older-Sora and older-Riku... and as such I can't tell if I like the clothing changes or not.
Looking forward to more on the gameplay trailer, but I'll be damned if they aren't introducing yet ANOTHER villain type into the game. Dream Eaters? WTF for? Why weren't Heartless and Nobodies enough?
I don't know whether I should be excited or disappointed. :/
The new clothes look....meh! The two new allies also look...meh! And now the new enemy type are Dream Eaters and are said to consume sleep... They honestly don't even sound like a big threat. I think Noruma just ran out of good ideas, because honestly, I don't really like the stuff I'm seeing so far.

So now we have footage of Riku's gameplay. This can also be found on KHInsider *nodnod*.
Apparently, these Dream Eaters are their companions, I believe. This all seems... pretty weird, so I guess this strengthens my theory that this is all a dream. I read somewhere that this is a universe buried in sleep. AKA, a dream. O____X
Here's some other news:
"The method of utilizing the lock on markers has changed. By pressing the A and X button at the same time, you can invoke a “Reality Shift” which makes use of the touch panel screen and changes the operation mode of Sora and Riku. Since the battle can be interrupted while invoking a “Reality Shift”, you can mess with the touch panel screen without becoming impatient. The other uses of the touch panel include directing your 2 companion creatures called the Dream Eaters. Since all you have to do to put them in action is touch their icons, it seems that they will become powerful weapons in battle. Furthermore, from the trailer shown in the open mega theater, we can confirm that there is an AR function that allows you to playfully interact with the Dream Eaters. Not only is the action enjoyable, but it seems there are various systems to look forward to in this title."
Can somebody tell me what a "Reality Shift" is? O____X
Definitely looking forward to this title. I still think that they should hurry up and come up with a KH3, though O____X

Kairi is probably not gonna play a major part in this installment, only because it's about Riku and Sora's Mark of Mastery Exam... which seems to be a lot more complex than Terra's/Aqua's O____X
