In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Cloud of Darkness smirked. Everything was moving fast, but at the same time, it all seemed to be moving through water to her senses. Reaching out a clawed hand, she quickly grabbed the incoming fox child's wrist, moving swiftly and almost dancing as she moved both herself and the boy out of the way of the arc of energy that had been headed straight for her. Twirling to a halt a few feet away, the Cloud of Darkness caressed the boy's cheek. At the same time, Pain and Suffering snaked up between them.
"Enjoy the flight," she said, and Pain and Suffering spring-boarded the unfortunate fox youth through the air on a course to collide with the other. The Cloud chuckled low and her two minions hissed with giggles.
"This is so easy, we fear it may be unfair to continue."

Suddenly, Aidan felt the ground leave his paws. He realized that he had been flung backwards. Not only that, but he was on a collision course with Fury. Luckily for him though, the red fox had learned a useful technique.
Aidan regained his balance and twisted in the air gracefully, landing back on his feet without crashing into anyone. A perfectly executed Aerial Recovery. He looked back at his opponent. Clearly this was not someone to be messed with. He bared his fangs as he glared at her. "Who are you?"
