In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

And with that, her weapon disappeared in a flash of light.
The Nobody nodded at the thought of an ice cream break. She could definitely go for something cool and relaxing right now. Eventually Namine just chose to follow Sora through Twilight Town. It was definitely a first, actually hanging out with anybody. The only person of value she had seen here had been Roxas... And that meeting didn't go too well. She bit her lip slightly at the memory, still feeling rather down about it. She was still crossed. Sora was her friend first, but she had a special place in her heart (hehe, heart) for Roxas... And Roxas wasn't even a real person.
Her mind flashed briefly to the images in Sora's heart. Specifically, of the sleeping boy with Roxas's face. What was she supposed to believe when it came to that? Was Roxas who he said he was? Or did he know at all about the mysterious stranger who shared his image? Things were becoming increasingly difficult to understand and she was conflicted. If Roxas were to disappear again, to complete Sora... She might not be able to find happiness. But if the doppelganger somehow replaced him or took him away, that would be worse.
But this was all beside the point. Namine nudged Sora as they walked, grinning. "So tell me! Of your adventures. The newer ones that I don't know. What all have you done in the past year?" [/style]

Sora followed suit, dismissing the Keyblade with a mere thought. It never occurred to him that if the Keyblade, in fact, chose him (indeed) chose to appear in his hand to fight danger, then it also chose to disappear, to hide from sight when the danger was over. Perhaps it allowed him to do with it what he would. In the end, it raised the question: who was the real master? The Keyblade or the Bearer?
He walked alongside Namine, casually ambling through the streets with all the confidence of someone who owned them. Though he had only been there a handful of times, he knew exactly where the ice cream stand was, the prices of his favorite treats, and the name of the man who ran it...he could have passed for a local! And if it was absurd for him to be sharing time and stories with the Nobody who chained his heart, Sora couldn’t have cared less.
“Hmm? Oh, the usual stuff. Didn’t do much traveling at first. Was just so glad to be home! Riku and Kairi left to do their own adventuring…and the islands just aren’t the same without them. So I guess I decided to follow them.” He understood why they had to leave. He just wished they could have done it together. And while he was glad that they had decided to find their own ways to happiness—he wished he could have been included.
“Visited Traverse Town. It was snowing. Have you ever been to Traverse Town? It’s amazing in the snow. Met a monkey guy there named Zidane. And then I went to Radiant Garden and visited this crazy new shop with all kinds of magic stuff in it. What have you been up to? Where are you from anyway? It sounds like you know a lot more about me than I know about you! Heh, all I know is your name! And that you look a lot like a girl I know…”

As they ambled Namine couldn't help but get into the spirit of the reclusive town. She hopped over stone steps and explored the stalls that lined the market, looking eagerly over the merchandise as Sora talked to the shop owners. She pressed her fingers to the glass containers holding beautiful decorations. Eventually they found themselves outside of the sweet shop, overlooking fascinating sweets of all kinds. The cobble underneath her feet almost tripped her now and then but she managed to save herself- Roxas was right... She wasn't the most graceful. They examined the wares and she crooned over the delicacies. Ice creams were marked next to munny values on a billboard beside the shop and she looked over it while Sora spoke.
So his friends left to do their own thing too. That was... sad. To have friends leave and do their own thing. It was like a part of her was missing. Except... She knew where they were. They were in her friends. So- weren't all these emotions ones that their friends had to experience at one point or another? Namine told Sora that he would have to forget her. He said he'd miss her. That meant that deep down, Namine was still in there somewhere, a part of her residing within him. Just like Kairi, Roxas, Axel, and Riku. She grinned and pointed at an ice cream, revealing a small Munny pouch that she used when killing any stray Heartless. "Hey! Imma buy you a sea-salt ice cream, okay?" she pestered, handing the man the money.
She'd seen so many memories of this. Roxas, Axel, and the faceless girl sharing it on top of the tower every day... The people of Radiant Garden reinventing it after years of the recipe being lost. She handed him one and tasted hers, her expression immediately going foul. So salty! Her lips pursed as she tasted it, but the salt seemed to melt into a wonderful sweetness and she stared at the ice cream incredulously. The Nobody plainly didn't know what to think of it. She gave it another lick, this time prepared for the strange taste, and smiled. It wasn't so bad the second time around. Her voluminous eyes sized Sora up beside her.
"I've been to Radiant Garden. Not Traverse Town though. I've seen it and all, but as for setting foot there myself- never. I don't remember ever seeing snow there either." Sora questioned her similarities and she paused. She tried to think of the correct words to use without sounding... well, incomplete. Her eyes closed. "Well, Sora, I work with memories. I don't know if it would be correct to tell you what I do with them. About us never meeting earlier, that was... a lie. And I am sorry about it- I wasn't sure how you'd react to a stranger claiming all of what I'm about to. At one point, maybe two years or so ago, we fought against one another, then worked together. You can't remember- that's partially my fault. The Organization used me as a weapon. But you freed me and then we protected one another. A lot of really important things happened- new friends were made and lost...
But you chose to forget so that you could save your friends. And I'm okay with that- we can be friends without the memories."
Maybe it would be better off if he didn't know everything.
"And don't worry- Jiminy said thanks before you guys fell asleep. I actually have some important things to tell you- or, well, Mickey. But you need to hear them too. And that's kind of why I've been here. I was hoping that I might find a path to follow instead of wandering around aimlessly. We can talk about it over this ice cream if you'd like. There's... A lot you've missed out on." [/style]

Sora liked spending time with Namine. She was mild-mannered and sweet, even offered to pay for ice cream, though he would have gladly bought the treats himself. When she tripped over cobblestones, he was quick to lend a hand to keep her from falling and scraping her knees. She seemed to be far and away from the warrior she was trying to become and Sora didn’t mind. He found that there were many ways to be strong and that the prayers of a pure heart could save a person from the darkness.
“Mm,” He hadn’t always loved the taste of seasalt ice cream. He had enjoyed it in the past, but now it brought him absolute delight! It was his dessert of choice! Though he couldn’t help but laugh a little at Namine’s face when she tried her first lick. He chortled at the way her nose scrunched up exactly the way Kairi’s did when she had to eat a lemon on a dare. Just the thought brought a curious, warm feeling in his chest.
However, his smile vanished as he tried to understand what she tried to tell him next.
And lost was exactly what Sora was at that moment. There was simply too much information to take in. Too many elements in an order that he was not able to put together in a way that made sense to him. It wasn’t that Sora was stupid (quite the contrary in fact. Sora was remarkably perceptive about matters of the heart and had a knack for solving puzzles), but he needed time to process all this information. It was a lot to take in. An entire year of his life had been stolen and he had no idea how or why. It was astounding to think that it was somehow connected to this girl he only just met hours ago.
And there was more! Namine continued talking, but Sora was hardly listening, still struggling to piece together, trying to accept the idea that he had fought against this sweet-tempered girl at some point in his life.
There's... A lot you've missed out on."
That much, at least, Sora was able to figure out on his own. He scratched his head, confused.
