Before Rapunzel had been born her mother had ingested a magical flower, then this flowers magical powers had then passed on into her and even though Rapunzel only knows of it in her hair, the magic is truly possessed in not only her but her love. Showing this at times such as when her undying true love for Eugene brought him back to life with just one of her single tears. Since she had been kidnapped she was never allowed to cut her hair, due to the fact once the hair had been cut it will lose all power permanently (or so they thought). Though having long magic hair does have its advantages.
Some of Rapunzel’s techniques
Healing Hair: Before Rapunzel had been born her mother had ingested a flower with magical healing properties, because of this it has caused Rapunzel’s hair to possess the same magical properties of the flower. Her hair may heal any minor wound as long as her hair has not been cut and is making contact with the wounded area. Compared to current Kingdom Hearts spells her hair is somewhat an equivalent to the spell Cure, also there must be a cool down of up to 4 posts.
Hair Lasso: When Rapunzel picks up her hair oh the wondrous things she can do, such as using her hair as a lasso. To then pull in her opponents entangling them in her long blond locks. She then releases them by a quick tug of her hair which causes the opponent to spin out of control at fast rates dazing them temporarily; this move may only be used though if the opponent is within close enough range to grab with her hair.
Hair Swing: Sitting around a tower all day is boring of course, but Rapunzel has invented a whole new way to travel around. All she does is throw her hair up over a sturdy object that can support her and swing; this move can be used in any place to travel over a small gap as long as there is some place for her to throw her hair over that is strong enough to support her as she swings.
Weapon/Items
Hair Whip: Who would have known hair could have been so…vicious? Rapunzel weapon of choice is her hair though it may not as strong as most weapons; it works just as well. Though the hair is fairly heavy to pick up and whip it packs quite the punch if hit just right, but if missed it can do little to no damage, her whip may also be used to knock a weapon out of an enemies hand.
Mini Pascal Profile
Name
Pascal
Age
Unknown
Powers
Pascal is a normal chameleon so he doesn’t have many powers except changing colors his skin colors for reasons such as defense by blending in with his surroundings as well as changing color depending on his emotion.
Appearance
Personality
Pascal may be small but don’t be deceived this little guy is very quick witted and tends to make judgments on people based on their first impression. He may look cute but don’t be fooled he packs quite the reptilian punch.
History
Pascal first met Rapunzel on her fifteenth birthday ever since then they have been completely inseparable. After all he was her only friend (aside from Gothel) until she met Flynn. When Pascal first met Eugene he didn’t trust him, even after he agreed to take Rapunzel to the lights Pascal held quite the grudge. After a while he grew to be better and went along with them on their merry adventure to the lights.
Once on the canoe ride to witness the lights Pascal had been curled up sleeping in Rapunzel’s pocket until a sudden shake and the sound of screams had awoken him he looked out of her pocket to see darkness consuming over the Kingdom, quickly he went back into her pocket shaking with fear, until they were completely immersed in the darkness.
Picture
Appearance
Standing at five feet and nine inches, with dazzling green eyes and long luscious blond hair that goes on for roughly seventy feet and all of this put together makes Rapunzel one truly beautiful young woman.
Rapunzel’s current dress is dark lavender colored silk base with pink ribbons to lace up her corset which is a light pinkish color that is extends to her violet sleeves which have a dark pink lining to them. Getting this dress was a very special occasion, a few years back on Rapunzel’s sixteenth birthday Gothel actually went into town to buy her a dress. Of course this meant gruel for the next few months and that that would have to be her dress till she turned twenty-one, but a dress is a dress none the less.
This was a very special occasion because over the years she had grown up wearing handmade gowns her mother had sewn for her (due to the fact that they were not the wealthiest class and NEVER left the woods), each one stitched to her size with room to grow for the next few upcoming years, but on special occasions Rapunzel would receive a hand-me down gown from Gothel, so you can imagine how amazing it was for her to get a real dress bought in the Kingdom.
Personality
Despite being in solitude for most of her life (excluding Gothel) Rapunzel is a very bubbly, energetic, happy, go lucky person. Although she has managed to define herself with a personality growing up in a tower does have its draw backs, such as Rapunzel growing up without learning the proper social skills (believe it or not hitting a stranger on the head with a frying pan isn’t very polite).
Rapunzel has also shown to be very naïve often believing whatever Gothel tells her such as the world will destroy any bit of hope. Also she has shown to demonstrated great courage such as when she was on the run from palace guards with Eugene, also not showing any signs of fear when completing great physical feats such as swinging across wide canyons and jumping off of her tower.
Speaking of her tower ever since she had left it Rapunzel has had a different sort of air about her. Maybe it was her new found confidence that she had gained disobeying her mother or perhaps the rebellious teen in her that had been longing to be freed finally had emerged shining out into her true colors. Quite possibly it could be something deeper inside of Rapunzel, which later on allowed her to realize who she truly was, whatever it was though that had happened it had changed Rapunzel.

History
The story of Rapunzel begins with the sun and a flower, this isn’t any old flower though; it’s a magical flower. This flower harvests the sun’s light to heal any wound or temporarily reverse the clock to rejuvenate the user’s youth, but for one to access the flowers magic they must sing the enchanted song.
Flower gleam and glow,
Let your power shine,
Make the clock reverse,
Bring back what once was mine.
Heal what has been hurt,
Change the fates design,
Save what has been lost,
Bring back what once was mine,
What once was mine... Four hundred years ago an elderly woman was looking through the markets crops when she stumbled upon an odd looking orange flower. Then she had asked the man selling the flower what type it was. So he explained the flower and its magical qualities, intrigued by the promise of eternal youth the woman bought the flower took it home to her tower deep in the woods and planted it in her small garden.
The next morning she sang the song man had told her to sing to the flower. Then to her amazement she began to physically lose many years of her age. Awe stricken by the flower she realized the horrible truth; people would try to steal the flower once they found out it’s secret, so she hid the flower away from the world to keep it for her own selfish intentions.
As the years passed the current Queen of Corona (too much dismay) grew ill in her fifth month of her pregnancy. To save the Queen and his future daughter the King set out for cure having all the doctors in the land come to try all cures known in the Kingdom, as the weeks passed without a cure the King (desperate at this point) decided to go to the citizens asking them for any home remedies or anything they may know.
As the months had passed the King and Queen fell into despair and lost all hope. When all of a sudden one dark and stormy night, the castle doors burst open and in ran the castles head knight, shouting that he had found the legendary sacred flower of the sun. The King baffled by the mere fact that they have found a magical flower of legends suddenly realized that they had a cure for his wife and that she would live. Immediately the King ordered the flower to be sent to the head chef and for it to be cooked into a stew for the queen; once the stew had been prepared the queen drank it, immediately after the Queen gave birth and thus Rapunzel was born.
After Rapunzel had been born her parents had brought her into her newly made bed chamber, then they presented her with the specially made mobile they had prepared for to give her the day she was born. They hung over her bed as Rapunzel gazed at the spinning shinning golden sun. Though all seemed well that night it was not, for while young little Rapunzel was sleeping the original owner of the flower… Gothel.
Gothel had been horrified when she saw that her flower was stolen, so she followed the Knights to the palace where she quietly crept into the baby’s room. Then Gothel had sung the enchanted song, right then Rapunzel’s long blonde hair lit up like the stars in the night sky. So Gothel drew her knife and cut off a strand of Rapunzel’s hair, unfortunately for Gothel the hair curled and turned brown losing its magical properties. Consumed by the newly found anger and greed Gothel stole the baby and hid in her tower away from the outside world.
When Rapunzel’s parents had discovered that she had gone missing, they became heartbroken. So in her honor they let out one single lantern which is to be followed by the rest of the kingdoms lanterns. They do this every year in hopes that there lost daughter and princess shall return to them.
Growing up Rapunzel’s new “Mother” Gothel had told her stories about the evil outside world, how it was dangerous and would destroy any tiny bit of light. Gothel also made Rapunzel promise to never leave the tower because a gift like hers must be protected, and after hearing stories of how when she was a baby people tried to cut off her hair and use it for their own selfish purposes (proof of which being her single brown hair). Rapunzel promised her mother never to leave or cut her hair.
As the years passed Rapunzel had learned many skills from Gothel such as reading, writing, math, astronomy, and singing, baking, as well as regular household skills. Rapunzel also grew to love all forms of art it seemed to be a way for her to express herself in a fulfilling way, also ever since Rapunzel had first remembered seeing the floating lights she has charted stars trying to figure out just what exactly that the lights where.
On Rapunzel’s fifteenth birthday Rapunzel had her first connection to the outside world. Rapunzel was sitting alone in her room waiting for her mother to wake up when she heard scurrying coming from a dark corner in the room. Cautiously Rapunzel approached the sound with her candle in hand to see what it was, when all of a sudden a small chameleon jumped out and landed on Rapunzel’s shoulder. At first Rapunzel freaked out but then she realized he was just a harmless little animal. Rapunzel had decided to name him Pascal (after the way her mother had mispronounced the type of paints she had gotten for Rapunzel).Immediately the two had clicked, they were inseparable and did everything together.
Then one year later on Rapunzel’s sixteenth birthday Gothel decided to do something special, buying Rapunzel the dress she is currently wearing now from in the Kingdom. Getting this dress was a very special occasion indeed, due to the fact she had only worn Gothel’s hand sewn gowns and occasionally one of Gothel’s old gowns. Of course this meant gruel for the next few months and that that would have to be her dress till she turned twenty-one, but a dress is a dress none the less.
Two years later Rapunzel had finally worked up the courage (with help from Pascal) to ask Gothel to take her to the floating lights. Ever since Rapunzel was little she had dreamt about going to see the floating lights, so finally when Gothel had come back to the tower Rapunzel pulled together her courage ask her the question she had been dyeing to ask. Then just like that all her hopes about finally seeing the lights were gone.
So Rapunzel went up to her room to sulk, when she heard a noise coming from outside of the tower as if some where climbing up. Suddenly she grabbed a frying pan and ran downstairs to wait by the window, as a man crawled in BANG. Out like a light he went suddenly overly excited a nervous by what she had done (after many failed attempts) she shoved him in the closet, and placed a door in front locking him in. Going through his satchel she found a crown type thing interrupted by hearing Gothel she shovel the satchel in a pot.
When Gothel had climbed up Rapunzel tried to show her the mysterious man in the closet, but after her mother had gotten angry, an idea had popped into Rapunzel’s head. What if she got the man to take her to the lights? So she sent Gothel on a three day trip to receive paints so Rapunzel would have just enough time to see the lights and return. After her mother had left, Rapunzel had negotiated with the man about getting the satchel in exchange for a guide to see the floating lights (in the midst of the negotiating learning that his name was Flynn Rider). After a weird face (something he called “The Smolder”) and some frying pan smacks Flynn agreed to take her to the lights.
On their way to the lights Flynn offered to take her to a restaurant named the Snuggly Duckling.
At first Rapunzel was so fear stricken that she almost wanted to go home but then she remembered that this is her dream and she needed to get there no matter what. But in the end she learned that they really were snuggly ducklings and started a giant musical number about all of their dreams, even Flynn joined in the fun! Then all of a sudden guards stormed into the pub Rapunzel then ducked down and pulled Flynn with her, one of the pub workers then opened a secret passage way for them, and they escaped through there.
Sadly the guards discovered the passage way and met up with them in an instant, Rapunzel then swung over a nearby canyon to get to the other side away from the guards. Seeing that Flynn was still in danger she tossed him her frying pan and he ended up dueling with the horse, but then the dam broke flooding the whole canyon they were in. Quickly Rapunzel and Flynn swam toward a cave and made it in, but much to her dismay the cave started filling up with water. Rapunzel burst out bawling apologizing for the fact that it was her fault he would now surely die, then Flynn told her something a secret. He told her his real name, just then she told him the secret about her hair… HER HAIR! Suddenly Rapunzel started singing and her hair lit up giving Eugene light to see the rocks to dig their way out.
Once they had washed up on shore Rapunzel had noticed that Eugene’s hand had been cut she decided to tell him that lighting up wasn’t the only thing her hair did. She wrapped her hair around his hand making him promise not to freak out, and then she sang. All of a sudden like electricity surging through a wire her hair lit up and once the light had wrapped around his hand it had been healed and she removed her hair to show him that his hand had been healed.
Then Rapunzel told him all about her life in the tower, about her mother, and her internal conflict she was facing about leaving, then to her surprise Eugene started to reveal bit’s and pieces about his life. As the night progressed Rapunzel went out to collect fire wood when she ran into Gothel, who was mad at Rapunzel for leaving. Then for once in her life Rapunzel stood up to Gothel and she was full of rage that she told her to never come back and threw the satchel to Rapunzel, she tried to apologize but it was too late Gothel was gone.
The next morning came and that was the day, Rapunzel’s Birthday and the day her dream comes true. Then just as Rapunzel and Eugene started to head out they ran into the head of the guards’ horse, Rapunzel decided to try and smooth things about by taking the horse’s side. Making the horse promise to keep Eugene and her out of trouble, as the day went on Eugene and Rapunzel went to enjoy the Kingdom before they went to see the lights. As they entered the Kingdom three young girls agreed to braid Rapunzel’s hair, then Rapunzel got to do something she has dreamed about she danced, with actual people! Rapunzel also learned the story of the lost princess.
When the night came they rode in a canoe that Flynn had rented, on their way out to the center of the lake a melancholy feeling came across Rapunzel, what if this wasn’t all she had dreamt? What if this was all she hoped? What next? Then Eugene said some of the most beautiful words she has ever heard “Well that’s the good part of it, I guess. You get to find a new dream”. She looked deep into his eyes; Eugene had truly touched her heart. Then the lanterns filled the sky Rapunzel gazed out at them; it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.
Then almost as if on impulse Rapunzel pulled out the satchel and gave it to Eugene, stating that she was no longer scared. Then he set it aside took her hands they gazed into each others eyes about to kiss when…
It happened.
The shadows, they came and swarmed up into the air. Then darkness spread across the sky consuming Corona the lanterns all had went out screams from children and adults were heard in the distance. All of a sudden Eugene embraced her and she swung her arms around him tight and squeezed her eyes shut hoping for the best.

☼Just smell the grass, the dirt the way I dreamed they'd be.☼
“A dress, oh Pascal I can hardly believe that Mothers going all the way to the Kingdom to buy me a dress for my fifteenth birthday!” Rapunzel chatted away to her small green chameleon friend Pascal. “I really do owe her for do such a sweet thing for me. Hmm… what if I make her a dress?” Pascal shook his head; causing the bubbly young blond then furrow her brow. “Hmm… Well what do you suppose I should do for her?” The little chameleon then sprinted from the small little table it was sitting on beckoning with its head for Rapunzel to follow. The little creatures passed by the kitchen up the small spiraling staircase to the first medium sized old door held on by rusted hinges that made a squeaking noise when opened. “Now Pascal what’s in there that could help me?” Rapunzel then opened up the door to her room and went inside the small circular room with a small bland little dresser in the corner and a light blue slightly dusty old four post bed with a baby blue matching blanket and pillow set that have been worn out by time and use. Then Rapunzel’s eyes shifted to the small brown package on the bed. “Pascal…what is this?” Rapunzel then crossed to the small parcel picked it up and gave a quick glance to Pascal razing an eyebrow. Pascal then gave Rapunzel a nod seeming to say “Go on open it.” Then Rapunzel slightly undid the light brown string that was used to hold the top of the package, then when she finished undoing the neat little bow Rapunzel opened the package and looked inside. Inside the package was white powder, what on earth Rapunzel wondered? “Oh!” Rapunzel said “Its flour! Mother always tells me, a woman can never have too much flour when cooking, but how did you manage to get some?” Pascal did a motion signaling that his lips were sealed. “Fine don’t tell me, but thank you anyway, Mother will truly appreciate it.” Rapunzel then put her hand out for Pascal to get on, and he jumped up and climbed on her shoulder. “Now, let’s go wrap this shall we?”
