In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

This story starts, actually, on Traverse Town, the City where those who lost their worls are gathered. There, a Hero meets a friend, and both of them start to travel togheter.
Shark as Skylar were doing pretty good on the days that passed after the encounter with the White Witch. Skylar started training Axel in Karate, and Axel started lecturing Skylar about the HEartless. Everything was going well.
Then, after some weeks like that, things changed. Skylar wished to return to Twillight Town, his homeworld, but he and Axel didn't have a way to travel. Some god must have listened to the boys prayers because, on the following weeks, the Mognet System started to be built. It took some time but, finally, the worlds were interconnected. Everybody on Pristis Foundation - Axel's bosses - rejoyced. Now they could expand their line of work, and Axel could do recon missions on the other worlds. And he would... but one thing at a time. He first had a priority. So, as soon as the System was activated, Axel and Skylar lined up to the Crystal, and teleported themselves to Twillight Town.
It was a funny sensation. Axel simply ceased to be for a second. It was pretty much like sleeping. Or, maybe closer, it was like dying. Axel wasn't sure of how much time the travel took. For him, it looked instantaneous... but if somebody said he was traveling for 10 years, he would believe. It was just too strange.
Anyways, he steeped away from the crystal and waited for Skylar to appear too. When his friend appeared, he smiled.
"Look! Twillight Town exists! Your world is okay!!" Said Axel, with a big chuckle on his face. Axel was dressed as usual, and with his Sharkblade on his back, hidden in black cloth. He stayed there, looking for Skylar and waiting for his friend's answers and joy.
They were just outside of the Central Station right now.
Skylar stood in line for the transportation crystal to finally take him back to Twilight Town. Axel was first in line to take the plunge. As Axel was teleported Skylar started getting second thoughts about this. This was a foreign device to Skylar and was completely out of the loop on how it works. After a minute Skylar finally stepped up and took the plunged to Twilight Town.
The process took only seconds but during those few seconds Skylar was pretty much freaking out. When he finally emerged on the other side in Twilight Town, he couldn't help but feel a little queasy. "Uh... I don't think I will ever get use to that." He said while holding his stomach. After a minute the feeling faded away and Skylar started to look around to see where he was at. They where just outside the town train station that overlooked the main town.
Axel was jumping for joy that they finally made it to Twilight town and only after a few weeks or so but what really made them both happy was the fact that it was still here. But something in the air made Skylar feel uneasy and it showed on his face. "This is where it started for me." Skylar said while looking around remembering the events of the past. "I wonder if that big Heartless was still around and I don't even want to think about the people it might have hurt when I was gone."
Skylar walked over to the edge of the the station to have a look at the town. Everything seems fine for the moment, but why do I have this bad feeling that something bad is about to happen? Is it cause I believe that Darkside I think there called is still around?""
(OFF: Sorry for the delay. I had posted here already, but it isn't here for some reason. Oh damm a_a.)
Axel was happy that Twillight Town was okay. He was seriously worried about Skylar's family and important ones. Axel already lost Hiro to the Heartless, he didn't want anyone else to lose important people. But, as happy as Skylar looked, he was a bit concerned with something. Axel guesses it was about his family - they would probabbly be worried after weeks of disappearance - but, when Skylar spoke, it was other thing that clouded his mind.
"Hmm... The Darkside?" Axel instructed Skylar a bit about the Heartless in the past weeks. When he told him about the Darkside Heartless - a giant, world-devouring type of Heartless - Skylar recognized it as the Heartless that defeated him. However, Axel looked arround. Everything looked fine. The people were happy and carefree. This was too strange. It really didn't look like a town that was attacked by Heartless in the past weeks. "Skylar... This is strange. I don't think the Darkside is arround. Everything here is just too... 'okay'. Everyone is all right. They don't look worried. Actually... this seems a pretty peaceful world." Axel lived in a world were people walked on the streets looking above the shoulders in fear of a Heartless outbreak. A world were people had trouble sleeping at night because maybe that night the Heartless would finally break free of the Second District. A place where freedom was restricted by the creatures. Twillight Town didn't have any of those sympthoms. Everyone looked happy and unconcerned, without bigger worries in life. And there was no damage anywhere. This was really, really strange. "Skylar... I'm not calling you a liar, but are you sure you were attacked by Heartless, specially a Darkside? Darksides are powerful, they usually appear when a world is already doomed. Also, this place doesn't look damaged or anything. It doesn't look like it have been attacked by Heartless. People would be panicking if it was, and probabbly the world wouldn't be arround any more. Unless somebody fought the Darkside, maybe... But still, they don't look like a population that saw a giant Heartless attacking the town. And they would have noticed a Darkside... Seriously, what's going on here?" Axel asked, looking at his friend. He really wasn't doubting Skylar, but things weren't matching here. A piece was left.
Skylar continued to stare out to the city hoping to spot at least a small portion of the Darkside but no matter how long he searched he couldn't spot it anywhere. All he could find is nothing more than a energetic and happy town. "I will admit everything looks fine on the surface, but whats under the surface is what I can't see and it's making me feel uneasy. It might just be my imagination running wild."
"Lets go check out the town. I'm sure you would want to see it up close. Come on, I will give you the grand tour." Said Skylar turning around with a smile on his face. Skylar started walked towards the slope into town hoping Axel is following behind. Eventually they made there way to Market Street. This is Market Street. The name pretty much explains itself. You got Bigg's Armour Shop, Jessie's Accessory Shop, Wallace's Weapon Shop, and lastly Wantz's Item Shop." Skylar explained as they made there way though the town.
"And down that way you got our little Sandlot. That's where we hold our end of the summer struggle tournaments." Skylar pointed out down a slope leading to the edge of town. Its basically a way to see who the strongest in the town. The winner gets the Four Crystal cup and a chance to fight the last year winner of the tournament. Winner of that fight gets bragging rights for a whole year that there the best in the whole town and not to mention the Champion belt to prove it."
They continued to circle around Market street till they came to the hole in a wall leading into a forest. "That way leads to the woods which lead to the Haunted Mansion. They say that mansion gets a lot of strange visitors but I've never seen a single person around the place before." Skylar continued to explain. Hmmm... Would you want to go check it out?" Asked Skylar.
Axel smiled at the invitation. "A tour? I sure do!" That was perfect, it would be fun and would also match his job. After all, he was here to help Skylar first, and gather intel second. It would be really useful to learn about this new world.
So, Axel followed Skylar, step after step on the stone floor. The city was colorful, but hurt a bit of his eye. Every damm place was painted orange or purple. Okay, Twillight Town, sunset, Orange and Purple, got it, but it was pretty annoying. Traverse Town was also "themed" - it's theme was night - but it wasn't irritating to the eyes like that. The first zone was Station Heights, the big uprising street that led to the Station. After that, came Market Street, where Skylar had it's own comments to add. Axel, however, paid little attention. His focus was stole by a passing bus. Axel never saw anything like that. This kind of transportation didn't exist on Traverse Town, since the populated part of Traverse Town was so small that everything was at walking distance. When he said that Skylar was moving again, Axel quickly followed, still looking at the bus until he made a turn and disappeared.
Then, Skylar started talking about the Sandlot, the Struggle Summer Championship and all those things. Axel smirked. "I bet I could beat you at that" he teased. Then, Skylar pointed at the mansion. A Haunted Mansion where people are afraid to go into... as mysterious place... THIS was the kind of info Axel NEEEDED to gather. When Skylar saind about going in, Axel only smiled.
"Readed my mind, bro. Let's go." He said, waiting for Skylar to move. Axel expected things to be easy, but Sharkblade weas ready on his back if anything happened.
As they walked though the big hole in the side of the wall leading to the woods, Skylar couldn't help but ask "So what do you think so far? I will admit its a bit bright compared to Traverse Town but it has its up side too. Like for instance, everyday at sunset..." Skylar stopped a moment to think of the right words to say. "The sun starting to vanish over the horizon. The stars start to come out one by one. It really makes you think you know. Maybe you will get to see it later if we stick around long enough."
Skylar continued to speak of other fun spots and activities while they started to make there way up the hill leading to the old mansion. There's also the beach, really nice to beat really hot days. And not to mention there always seems to be a mystery behind every corner. At least that's what I hear anyway. I never really got out much." He said with a bit of a smirk.
Finally they made there way to the front gate of the mansion. "And here we are. The old haunted mansion. Note the lovely broken down pillars leading up to this beautiful vine covered home!" Skylar said as if he were getting ready to sell it. I'm afraid this is as close as we can get. With the gate locked an all. Some kids must have gotten hurt in there or something a while back cause this place has been on lock down for as long as I can remember. Either that or people keep moving in or out all to often. But... If you wanted to check inside I'm pretty sure we could hop the gate. He said as he motioned towards the side of the gate where there were vines all along the side.
Axel paid attention as Skylar spoke. then, he smiled. "It's a beautiful place. This sunset is just too pretty and, also, everything looks so... peaceful. It's a pretty nice change for someone that grew afraid of the darkness. It's pretty cool."
Skylar then went talking about fun things to do at Twillight Town, and Axel got entertained. Axel got a bit uneasy, in the middle of a forest and all. It was a creepy place, and Axel's instinct simply couldn't calm down. He really didn't liked that forest.
He did, however, paid attenttion to the mystery part. "Mysteries, eh? I love a good ol' investigation."
He was almost relieved when they arrived at the mansion. This, however, quickly faded. The place was as spooky as the forest, probabbly even more. So old, so gracious... but so abadoned... or not? Let's hope yes.
Skylar once again started talking. First, about the mansion being always locked. "I don't think that the place was habitated, man. There are spider webs everywhere, and I can pratically smell all the dust. It almost make me snooze. The hurt children is more plausible. Or something worse..." Axel didn't really liked the place, but he was just too curious. When Skylar said that was as far as they could go, Axel smirked. "Don't be a girl, Skylar!" Said the Hero, grabbing his Sharkblade. He ran to the gate, morphing mid-run. Then, The Shark stood at the front of the gate, and quickly lept over it, using the walls and the grids as support. Moments later, Shark was stting at the top of the wall, looking at Skylar. "Let's go, Myagi. Or you're afraid of the dust?" Inside the helmet, Axel smirked.
Scared? Was Axel really saying that Skylar was scared? It wasn't that Skylar was scared in fact he was hoping to kind of edge Axel into going in. Looks like it worked. So Skylar made his way over the gate and stood next to Axel. "I've been waiting a long time to finally take a look in this place. I have to admit I'm a bit excited."
As they made there way Skylar took another look around the yard. He couldn't help but wonder how old this mansion really was. Vines covers almost the whole courtyard but they mansion itself. For some reason there weren't that many vines on it. Mostly cobwebs covered the outside of the mansion. "Hey Shark. Don't you think its kind of weird that the mansion isn't as covered in vines as the mansion?" Skylar asked.
As they entered the mansion they walked into the Foyer. Cobwebs covered a lot of the interior. There was a broken table in the middle of the room and looks like there was a door to the right that was barricaded. "Talk about your fixer upper." Remarked Skylar. "OK. Lets split up lets start with the left side of the mansion. I will take this door over here and you check upstairs if something goes wrong just holler."
Skylar entered though the double doors to find a dinning room. The table was broken just like the one in the foyer. There where two chars on each end of it perfectly intact and covered in dust. "Man... I really hate to be the guy that has to fix this place up." Thought Skylar as he began to look around the room some more.
"You're really a cry baby, living all this time arround here and never going in. Come on, you got Sharky to protect you now." He said, smiling and getting back to the floor, this time in the inside part of the walls. Then, he followed Skylar in the walk in the yard. He admired those broken pillars covered in vine. He wondered how beautiful that place would be if he wasn't abandoned to the action of time.
Axel didn't really understood Skylar's following question, so he just noded in agreement. Then, they went in.
Shark's first tought was that he probabbly would be coughing a lot if it wasn't for his helmet. The place was just to dirty and dusty. It took just a few second for his helmet's visor to become dimmish. He cleaned them with his glove, and looked arround. The broken table quickly broke his attention.
"Man, what the hell happened arround here? Could this place have a more sinister story? It really look like a fight happened here with this table and everything. Seriously, weir..." Axel's "I don't like this place" sensation returned. It got worse when Skylar talked about splitting up. Axel didn't want it, but told himself he was being childish. "This never work on that cartoon with the talking dog, but as you wish. I'll search upstair then, right?" And upstairs he went. The stairs made a strange noise when he stepped in them. Stepping carefully, he went to the next floor, picked a room and entered it. It was a library. Tons and tons of books in shelves on the wall.
"Wow" said the Shark to himself. He took a quick look on them, but didn't find anything that caught his attention. He turned arround to return when he saw the door blocked by two strange creatures. He drew the Sharkblade, uneasy.
"What the hell are you...?" The creatures were white and all elastic. Kind of humanoid, with a big, triangular head. He didn't liked them. Even less when they opened their mouths, and he downright hated them when they advanced and attacked. It was fighting time!
When Axel made his crack about Skylar being a baby for not going in it wasn't that he was scared. It was just he never had the time when he was a kid. He had school, karate practice, homework, and not to mention sleep for the next day. Everything just took up his time so he couldn't go check the place out.
Back in the dinning room, as Skylar was finishing up looking around he started to hear some noise coming from upstairs. It sound like a struggle. "Shark!! Every...." Skylar was cut off by a couple of creatures in white charging to attack when he turned around towards the door. Skylar quickly jumped to the side to avoid there charge. "What the hell!" Yelled Skylar. "Never mind shark!!! Think I found out whats going on!!!"
"Ok whatever you guys are. It's game time." Said Skylar as he set himself in his defensive stance. "Think you can take me then come and get me!" Skylar said trying to get them to attack. It worked the creatures charged once again. They were so weird, they charged towards me like they were a flag in the wind... There whole body just waving as they charges me. "I think I'm in trouble." Thought Skylar.
As the fight continued, Skylar quickly found out that what ever these creatures are, they were on a whole other league then the heartless. Every time Skylar would block an attack it felt like blocking a bat swing. "Think its time for a new approach." Thought Skylar. He looked towards the door. "There's more room to fight out there be a lot easier than in here." So he made a brake for the door closing it behind him and ran out into the middle of the room. It didn't take long for the creatures to bust though it.
While Skylar was fighting downstairs, Shark was having a problem of his own. The creatures followed a strange pattern, hard to predict, and their moves where elastic and... strange. He blocked a surprise headbutt right on time, but was knocked backwards. The hero quickly recovered himself and advanced, countering them. The closest creature started to "walk" in the air, upside-down. Axel didn't had doubt, and launched a uprising strike to the head. The creature fell, stuned, but Shark couldn't follow because he had to defend himself of the first one. These guys were tough!
"Come on, get off... Blizzard!" He shouted, launching the spell from the Sharkblade. The ice crystal dashed at the first creature and, after hitting it, shattered, and the shards hit the second one. This gave Axel a second to breath, as well as advantage ground. He took the opportunity. He striked the closest one, knocking it some meters to the left, and facing the second one. He tried another strike, but the creature dodged, counterattacking in midair. Axel was able to block it, but took a backstep in order to maintain balance. In this moment, the other one attacked, moving pretty much like a whip. It hit Axel in the back, knocking him ahead, where he met a headbut from the second creature. Axel fell, hurt.
"Damm you!" He got up. They were strong, and he would lose if he didn't pay attention. He took two backsteps in order to gain some ground, and entered combat stance again. It was time to fight seriously. Skylar could be in problems too.
Back downstairs Skylar wasn't faring much better, all he could do at this point was try to dodge there attacks and block were he could. "Damn... there's got to be a way to beat them. Everything has a weakness." Thought Skylar as he looked around the room for some inspiration. There were nothing around but broken furniture and cob webs.
Skylar continued to try and dodge and block there attacks trying at an attempt to learn there fighting pattern to see if at the least he can start predicting there movements but he was unsure on how much longer he could take at beating. He was already breathing hard and his arms felt like jelly. "At the very least I need something to block there attacks... Wait a minute. I got it! Skylar ran to the middle of the Foyer where the broken table lay and grabbed to of its broken off legs. He swung them a few times to get a good feel for his new weapons. "Oh yeah these will do." Said Skylar as he prepared himself for the creatures next assault.
If it was one thing about these creatures they defiantly new how to think and plan. Everything Skylar tried something new, they would change up there fighting strategy to the situation. But this time Skylar can block there attacks without worrying about taking any type of damage thanks to the table legs. Felt like the battle went on for hours but it was actually only about 20 minutes or so. Skylar was running on the last of his second wind and perked a smile at his unknown enemies. "I can... See you guys... now.... He said panting. After fighting for so long Skylar finally figured there fighting strategy out.
The left creatures dove straight at Skylar while the other took to the air. Skylar stood his ground determined ready for there assault. The first one that charges head first slipped to the ground right in front of Skylar and attacked with a headbutt while the one in the air stretched its arms out for its attack. Skylar waited till the last possible moment and... Blocked the first creatures attack with the first table leg while getting the other leg under the creature and lift the creature into the second ones attack causing the second one to kill of the first one. "Well... That's one... Down."
Shark's furious struggle was still on at the library. The Hero managed to throw a enemy into a shelf, severely damaging him. Shark was already a competent melee fighter, and his Basic Karate Lessons with Skylar were already making their effects. He was swifter, stronger and more agile. The second creature attacked, but he managed to dodge the strike and counter, hitting on it's "chin", if it had one. He retreated and, then, slashed the air, while shouting:
"Water Slash!" and, with that, a water blade projected itself from the blade, hitting it on the chest. The creature fell. Seconds later, however, both were up again. "You can't be THAT strong. You are next to falling. Nothing can witstand so much." With that determination in mind, he advanced againg. They started trading blows, tons of them, dodging and attacking and repeating. Even if Axel was powerful, he started to wonder if he was phisically a match for them.
Then, he decided he was not. It was time for Magic to make the difference. He backstepped, spinned the Sharkblade and pointed it. "Blizzard!" The crystals hit the enemies. But he couldn't lose mommentum. He spinned the blade again, waiting for the "cooldown", so to say, to worn off, and then pointed it again. "Watter Shots!" He shouted, shooting two bullets against each of the enemies. Still recovering from the Blizzard, they were hit, retreating one more step and becoming more and more stunned. Axel readied the blade. "Get off, dammit! Water Slash!!" Focusing all the power he could, he slashed a bit Water Slash. Big enough to hit both Nobodies, and so it did. They were thrown backwards and, then, vanished into nothingness. Axel sighed. "These bastards were strong. I wonder if Skylar's okay." Worried, Axel went downstairs to look for his friend.
When Axel ran to see how Skylar was doing, Skylar was standing toe to toe with one more nobody. Exhausted and panting pretty hard Skylar wasn't ready to give up. Skylar stared at the nobody with a fierce look on his face. Skylar stood there waiting for his opponent to make the first move determined to rest as long as he could to keep up his strength.
After a few seconds the nobody attacked. Skylar stood his ground waiting for the opportune moment to strike. The nobody attacked with another headbutt and when the nobody got close enough dashed to the side and rolled across the ground circling around the nobody. Skylar quickly got up and attacked with the table's legs that he was using as weapons. He hit the nobody on the side of the head when he turned to look at Skylar and went down hard. To Skylar surprise the nobody quickly attacked back while it was still on the ground stretching his leg straight at Skylar's arm hitting him rather hard.
The blow caused Skylar to drop his weapon and to have his arm start bleeding so he jumped back to get some distance. He grabbed his arm with his other hand to check on the damage and to his surprise it hurt more than it looked. "Damn. My arm is broken. This is just perfect." The nobody was back up on its feet and charging straight towards him. Skylar quickly grabbed the table leg with his good arm and readied himself. As the nobody got into attack range Skylar attacked to hoping to clash with the creature but didn't do anything other than weaken the creatures attack and was forced down. As the creature was getting ready for his final attack, Skylar felt something metal hit his hand on the ground. He looked over and saw it was a small broken metal pipe. As the creature attack Skylar grabbed the pipe and put it in the way of the creature and him causing the creature to charge right into it. The creature then vanished.
Skylar looked up the stairs to see Axel. "Hey. What took you so long? Thought you leave me all the fun? Skylar chuckled. Skylar's left arm was broken and bleeding bad enough to where he pass out shortly later.
