In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

So I do a lot of tabletop stuff. DnD, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, etc. We also do a LOT of homebrew, which can be really fun provided the creator is skilled at balancing. So I thought HEY I'MMA KEEP A JOURNAL UP. And tell you guys about all the retarded stuff we get into.
I will update this with posts as I find the time. Look forward to it! :3
Vonne awoke with his back on cobblestone. It was raining, and his dark hair was plastered to the gritty ground beneath him. He closed his eyes, feeling exhausted. Completely spent. Sick, even. He could hear television static from somewhere far off between the wheels of carts and the loud, insistent voices of the people passing by. A shadow leaned above him and he felt someone pull him up.
"Hey, kid. You alright?"
Vonne rubbed his eyes with his hands, trying to wake up. Now that he'd fully awoken the static around him changes. The static clarified into low voices and pictures that he could see through the back of his eyelids. He opened his eyes to see a creature made of fog looking at him with beady white eyes. His gaze turned and he saw people with Pokemon walking through the muddy streets. This creature in front of him... He knew it was his. His Pokemon. Whatever it was, he was unsure of (hint, it was a glitched Ghastly). Regardless, he took 'Haze' as he stood up and turned to examine the man who'd helped him up.
Dante Reldin helped him off his feet. A fellow PC (player character), of course. He asked him how he was, said that he was a Doctor, and that he looked sickly. A bit of backstory, when Vonne came into the Pokemanz world he had lost a bit of his data, and as such he had some special abilities and disabilities. Number 1) he had Insomnia, an ability that prevented Sleep. Number 2) he had an inability to heal through natural means, meaning Travel Rests or food. Only abilities, Potions, and Hospitals could heal him. He also discovered that the voices and images he was hearing and seeing were telepathy and upon entering the Pokemon universe he gained psychic powers.
This was possibly the worst possible thing that could have happened to this universe.
Vonne was a shut-in before waking up in the Pokemon world after accepting a beta to a Pokemon MMO. He didn't have friends, didn't do school, didn't do work- he was a weak, pale figure that played video games, ate, and slept. And now he was in a ...real? video game. The reality he hated so much was behind him. But Vonne also had no social experience whatsoever and wasn't really sure how to approach his party members. So Dante brought him to a stadium where other PC's were working together to get through a tournament.
These party members were fighting not for the prize but for the win. One of their closest friends, a woman named Amber, had been kidnapped by a man known as 'Niel', who was responsible for making a viral bioweapon that the party had been battling all over the Pokemon countryside. Niel saw them as getting in the way so he threatened that Amber would be subject to the bioweapon if they did not submit. Two of his lackeys were at the tournament. If the party could defeat them, Niel would give them a clue as to where to find Amber.
Vonne stepped onto the stage, looked between the party members, and things took a turn for the worst. Vonne didn't bother using his Pokemon. He stepped up, looked into the lackeys' eyes, and they fell to the ground asleep. The party watched in fear and awe as Vonne stood above them, his sunken, dark eyes hungrily examining them, and he used Dream Eater- one of his psychic abilities that was branched into the class 'Hex Maniac'. In that instance, all of their life energy was drained away and color began to return to Vonne. He turned to them, the sickness temporarily gone, and said telepathically, "I can do this for you."
The party was somewhat sickened by this but their goal had been reached. The party members who had Pokegears were texted coordinates and they continued on their way.
It wasn't until the third session that they learned Vonne's name. He didn't speak. He floated silently behind them, looking more a corpse than a human being, watching as events unfolded. If anybody attempted to stop the party for any reason, if anybody was even slightly aggressive... They fell to a heap on the floor. The party had to fend Vonne away from hurting them. One of the party even asked why he was doing it and he shrugged and telepath'd, "You are the protagonists. I want to see the story of this game."
The party firmly believed that this was actually a Pokemon world but Vonne seemed to be under the impression that it was a game. This, his inept social functions, and his lack of empathy created a twisted morality that the party feared. If anybody stepped in their way, they would die. At least a good hundred people went down this way in this campaign. For example, one time the party found an underground pit-fighting arena where Pokemon fought to the death. The party disliked it so Vonne brought down the underground stadium on everyone inside.
(Out of character: This was actually built intentionally because I wanted to be a character that put everybody on edge just by existing. The party was actually afraid of one of their party members, out of character. They couldn't decide on whether or not to tell him to leave because they feared the world was safer with them to bat him away from any sleeping people. And they couldn't kill him because they didn't have the twisted morals he did. Technically, he'd only protected them and had never attacked anybody out of his own will. It was hilarious.)
They finally rescued Amber and found themselves learning about the world they were in. Working with a man known as Dr. Johnson, they learned that about ten years ago a virus appeared in the world. Niel had taken this virus and manipulated it so that he could use it against people. He was trying to take over with it. The virus in question would eat away at people and Pokemon alike, then bind the two beings together to create a host with human and Pokemon traits. They asked how it was a Virus. He said that he doesn't know. Only Niel does.
Regardless, they travel all over the world attempting to find a way to fight Niel until they finally approach the city they believe him to be at. A sleepy town that hadn't been heard from in a good five years. Outside of it was some kind of shield that prevented entry, but they managed to force it open by creating an EMP with a Pokegear (that died afterwards, losing all that character's data).
Once inside, the world around them shifted through time, glitched, etc. and they learned that they were inside of a game. This game had been corrupted by the same Virus they had been fighting throughout the story. Niel could release some of them from this sad and corrupt world. But they would have to beat him first. So they approached his stronghold in this town, fighting off his armies of amalgamates. They entered the stronghold to find their last enemy a Darkrai who had put the town to sleep five years ago.
It was quickly realized that this creature was the initial game's final boss, but his data had been scrambled beyond recognition. He send out a pulse that put the entire party to sleep... Only one person could not be affected. The psychic Insomniac obliterated Darkrai with his telekinesis before walking into the final room where Niel stood waiting.
The scientist looked at him oddly. "Who the hell are you?"
Vonne tilted his head, his dead eyes looking around the white room. He examined the coding on the monitors around him, looking at the actual game's data from this admin's position. "Are you standing in our way?"
Needless to say, he admitted and was destroyed. As the party all walked into the room, Dr. Johnson appeared on one of the monitors. He thanked them for destroying Niel and said that he'd been looking for a way to beat him for ten long years. Ten years of being trapped in this game, his admin privileges revoked by the virus he'd accidentally unleashed. Now, he could unleash this ten years' perfected virus onto the Internet to destroy as much of it as possible, accumulating data blah blah blah. M. Night Shamamallama plot twist, the guy we worked with all game was a villain, whatever whatver.
Vonne closed his eyes, ignoring Johnson. A video feed had opened up, showing Vonne Johnson's room. Vonne knew where his computer was, he knew where Johnson was- with his psychokinesis, which allowed him to manipulate things he knew were there but could not directly see, he used the admin's console to give himself that position. Then... He killed Johnson's in-game body by destroying his data. Data was just another form of manipulation, and with Johnson dead (ooc: If you were a PC and died in-game, your brain registered you as dead Matrix-style), nobody could contest him. Had the GM contested that ability, which he didn't, psychokinesis can also target internal organs sooooo....
Vonne rebooted the game, quarantined the virus, and began to modify the game. From the Internet, he pooled every other Pokemon game created and fully fleshed out the digital Pokemon world with his administrative powers. The other party members watched in awe as the Giratina (which was the physical manifestation of the Virus) laid at his new owner's feet and the Pokemon world reversed and rebuilt itself around them. Finally, he looked to all of them with dead eyes and logged each party member out, until only the ones who had initially wanted to stay remained.
He teleported them to the start of a game, where they each walked out of their separate houses, with their separate families, sickly no longer. With the Virus gone and the game rebooted, his missing data had found him. He and his Ghastly were fully healthy once more, and there was a world ahead of them to explore.
(Out of Character: What actually happened at the end was kind of funny, some of the other players wanted admin rights but Vonne denied them and locked them out of the game forever. He's kind of brutal hahahaha. BUT he's no longer murdering people, and instead is playing through the game normally.)
