In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Marmadue let out a soft, amused hm, almost a chuckle. It was good to see Alice in such good spirits, considering everything. The day must have been long, she had just gotten to Twilight Town and… Well, that never was a good sign. For now, if he could take her mind off such things and let her relax, he would be content. He replied to the girl's bow with one of his own, though much less theatrical in nature and more of a simple head dip. "Hearing that puts my mind at ease," the Yuke replied as he brought his head back up, finishing their little back and forth. It wasn't just playful pretend they played here all day, after all.
"You're… Ah, welcome. We are all in this together, miss," he gave Alice a deep nod in response of the thank yous, "I shall think of your offer, but for now, I believe both of us are preoccupied with something else. I ah, shall try to find answers to your questions. It is possible that I may have to step outside, but worry not. I'll try to let others know where to find me, if you need me – and I will ah, be back here, of course," Marmadue continued, getting the rest of the details out of the way. Well, the rest for now. In the future, more.
The Yuke turned to walk towards the door to leave and let Alice have her peace and quiet, but he stopped after a few steps. "Ah, if you find yourself peckish, do help yourself to what you can find within these walls. It doesn't do to go hungry," he added. One good thing about being the healer who took in those who didn't have anywhere else to go meant that those people often shared what they had with him. It wasn't much, but… It was something. They wouldn't starve. For now.
Marmadue walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.

// Hmm... right now I'm thinking we can end this one here, and start another one with a slight time skip (maybe immediately after the Chaos Hide thing, so Alice can help Marmadue deal with the wounded)? Let me know what you think through PMs or Discord! //
One last time, Alice thanked Marmadue for all his help before watching him shut the door behind him. It immediately became harder to see anything in the room. A shiver ran down her spine. For a split second, she felt as if she were back in Maleficent’s castle, forced to swim in a sea of darkness by those serving it. She’d been fortunate to have Sora rescue her and the others before matters took a turn for the worse… but what if it was happening all over again? What if the evil fairy was back, and she was ravaging the worlds in search of the Princesses of Heart again?
"Come on, Alice," the woman mused to herself, attempting to divert her attention from unwanted thoughts. Still, she failed to snap out of them. The danger, the fear… it all felt so real. Perhaps she would’ve deemed the possibility “impossible” back home. Now though, having gone through the day’s events and having somewhat processed her current predicament... it didn’t look so implausible to her anymore.
"Remember, you musn’t lose your muchness. What would the Hatter think of you if he saw you pouting like this?" Outrageous, he would’ve called it. Alice almost smiled at the thought. In a way, he would’ve been right. She wasn’t that little girl anymore. Of course, she was still Alice, but she was also so much more than that Alice. She had seen and heard and lived through so many things, and she had learned from those experiences. Even if the witch and her council were coming for her, this time she would be able to do something about it.
The broken moon’s rays barely allowed her to distinguish the foot of the bed. Her eyes struggled to adjust to darkness. But the light, though faint, remained present, shining through the window in its own particular manner. The realization didn’t leave Alice’s mind as she slipped beneath the covers.
"Six impossible things…"
And so, she began.
"One, there are other worlds in existence. Two, dodo birds wear helmets. Three, and they also wield powerful magic. Four, there’s a spell that can soothe my aches. Five, there’s a town guarded by a broken moon."
She closed her eyes, ultimately drifting into sleep as she mumbled the last item in her list.
"Six, Light is my companion… and together, we will find my friends."
