In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.
Asuka quickly opened her eyes. She started to frantically look around to gain awareness of her surroundings. She started to panic as she tried to remember where she had been. She remembered a sewer... weird.... abnorms? A bright light and then nothing. God, the CDC had found her! She was in one of their facilities. Panicking she quickly jumped out of bed, frantically looking around for a way out. She debated going out the window, climbing the wall down using her vectors. No, too risky, she could get shot if they found out.
There was only one way. Clinching her teeth she janked the IV off of her arm and her eyes started to turn red. Her vectors slowly formed from her back as she janked the door from the frame and started to sprint through. She took the look of surprise from the lab coat men and women as she jumped over counters, chairs, running around in circles trying to find an exit.
"Miss! Wa-." She didn't listen as she grabbed the person in front of her and threw him against the wall, hopefully knocking him out. Not really sticking around to find out she desperately looked around for an exit. She ignored the screams of fear, she pushed and tackled people in her way as her eyes locked on an emergency exit sign. Bingo. Lunching herself forward she used her feet to knock the door from her hinges, using the momentum she lunched herself down the staircase, keeping an eye on the floor numbers.
20, 15... She had to get out. She had to be free, she couldn't become a tool. Not her.
15, 10... She couldn't go back to the group either... too much fighting... too much bad plood.
10, 5... Where then? She was alone....
She ignored the voice in her head as she moved past the second floor, seeing a big L plastered on the wall. Bouncing off the rail she took stance against a wall as she used her vectors to lunch herself forward, knocking the door now. Screams of panic filled the room as she boosted through. She didn't have time to wait, she didn't have time, she had to get out. Jumping over obstacles she made her way towards the door, to freedom. Everything else could wait.
The sound of screams were the universal beckon for help. In a knee-jerk reaction, Era had summoned up her weapons, this time tapping into the Light - the way she'd learned to in Twilight Town. It felt weird. She'd never summoned her weapons quite like this, but without such a heavy blanket of darkness, somehow it just seemed easier.
Soft crackling like the gentle chimes from soft sparkles and the soft hum of light swirled together in a quiet symphony as bright radiance coelesced in her palms, out from which new twin blades came to life. It all happened rather quickly, the weapons coming to rest in her palms in a matter of seconds.
She stood ready, watching citizens clamour away from the hospital, screaming and fleeing in confusion and panic.
Era waited for whatever was about to burst through the lobby doors, prepared to face it head-on. To her surprise, it was none other than the girl that they'd taken from Twilight Town. She blinked, letting go of her dual blades, which vanished in flurries of sparkles. "Asuka?" she questioned, still not quite grasping the context of the situation.
Asuka looked around her sourroundings as she walked out the front door. Breathing heavily, she was panicking. She needed to calm down first. Taking a couple of deep breaths she checked for any armed guards. None. Instead she quickly turned her head at the mention of her name. A girl, a young one calling out her name. The tone of her voice spoke confusion and concern but Asuka absolutely missed all of it. She was only interested in one thing.
In her mind, someone who knew her name knew her history. Knew what she had done. Knew what she was capable of.
"YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME!" she simply screamed out as she charged forward. Jumping up with one leg, using the momentum to gain more strength as her vectors came down upon the new arrival. If she had to fight to be free, she would. She would not be studied, she would not be used.
The panic coming off of Asuka was palpable. Era had taken that into consideration as she assessed the battle. By now most of the citizens had scattered, meaning that she was free let loose on her magical abilities - which would have been beneficial considering she hadn't yet come to terms with how to use the light. With nobody to hit, well - it would be the perfect time to practice.
In the middle of analysis, a large appendage slapped hard against her right side. She rolled with the attack, cushioning some of the blow as she quickly slid out of the way, bringing up the hilt of her weapon to block a second attack. Those caribbeans thinned on the panicked aggressor, her arm struggling to oppose Asuka's angered force. Era had already made her choice. She knew she could even things out if she had just tapped into her magic. But she knew what happened the last time Asuka was hit with it. _I will not!_ Her mind affirmed her resolve.
"It's okay, nobody's going to hurt you!" It was doubtful, but somehow she'd hoped Asuka could hear her beyond the flash of rage that was currently overtaking her.
She knew what had happened the last time magic had been used with Asuka. It didn't end well. And maybe it was stupid, but even while they opposed each other, Era was still rooting for the young girl they'd saved a few short weeks ago.
She screamed at the weird woman trying to capture her. She did find it a bit weird that her opponent made her weapons appear out of nowhere. Not only that but this felt easy, too easy. She could tell this girl had skill yet she didn't really feel as though she was actually using her skill.
Clenching her teeth she took a few steps back and studied the woman. Her words said something, experience said another although she did find everything about this place un-familiar. It looked like her home-world, but for some reason it felt weird. She listened to the womans words, clenching her head as she remembered her from somewhere... she felt familiar. "Sure!" She screamed back "You guys are loosing your touch! Trying so obvious manipulative tactics!"
