In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Well, I just purchased the game. And I have to admit, it's amazing. The voices and lips don't really sync up, but frankly, I'm just so happy it's here!
I decided to scrounge around Youtube to find some links, and I have succeeded.
Larxene: I actually like her voice. Sorry to say it, but I do. Although, it's a little creepy. I assumed it would be a higher pitch, but I'm satisfied. The laugh wasn't spot on, unfortunately.
Namine: When I was talking to the staff at my local EB Games (Gamestop in America) they told me her voice sounds very ghostly. Out of it. Stoned, actually. I have to agree. It's not the same voice actress, but for some reason, I like this one more....She just seems like she has a bit more emotion.
Vexen: I don't really need to say much. His voice is exactly how I pictured it. Slightly insane, but enough to make you giggle. I thought he'd sound just slightly older, but it's perfectly fine nonetheless.
Lexaeus: What to say, what to say...I can't really say anything. Heh, it's just too good. Dark, deep, and very demanding. Perfect for his character.
Zexion: ... I had a fangirl moment. I am not going to lie. I assumed he'd sound a bit younger, but I'm growing used to his voice. It has that depressive yet intrigued quality to it. Although I didn't know you pronounced his name 'Zex-i-in' not 'Zex-i-on'. I always pronounced it like it sounds in the Japanese version, 'Zekshion'.
Marluxia: I don't really need to say anything here, either. I would have liked if it was a little more sinister, a little darker, but overall, it's exactly what I was looking for.
In short, the English voices are amazing. Oh, and did I mention? Axel's lines are hilarious. Especially the cutscene where Vexen fades.
Wow. After hearing they had switched out some of the VA's, I was a bit worried about what we would get. But after hearing those videos, I'm quite content. Now, I just need to wait to get my copy... whenever that is...
This is way more fun to watch in English! I really enjoyed Larxene's bit, but Sora's voice is driving me up a wall. It's like only his voice decided to hit puberty and forgot about the resf of him. There's...no....charm....
Vexen sounds like a character I've seen in a cartoon, but I can't place it. Zexion sounds a lot sexier than he is o.0 Maybe...Kovu from Lion King II? Mer? I want him to randomly break out into song...
I just saw the clip of Axel talking. People seem to be wigging out about his voice being less lighthearted. There's only so many times you can tell people that he's trying to decieve the people around him and not talk to his best friend like in KH2.
Hmm... when I clicked the link, it says that the user removed the video... why?
Since the videos were put up by a third party not affiliated with this site [to my knowledge], we don't have an answer for that. You'd have to PM the poster on YouTube for the straight facts.
My guess? Copyright issues by SE. Since Re:CoM was a gamble for them to begin with (being essentially a game released a few years back just on a new platform), hiring VA's, producing, reworking, translating, and putting it out was a bit of a financial risk from the start. They don't want people getting the milk for free when they're trying to sell the cow, if ya know what I mean.
Besides, the more people who buy the game, the better the odds we end up with Final Mix and Final Mix+ stateside.

XD I was doing a happy dance when I found out it was coming out Dec. 2. T-T Unfortunately, I was locked up in a retreat center in the middle of seemingly nowhere and lack of technology. o-o Now I must wait until Christmas.

I know this is kinda late but personally, I was content with all the voices except Namine's voice. Her fourteen year-old self sounds older than her fifteen year-old self but other than that, it sounds similar.
I am very satisfied with Kairi's voice. At least it wasn't screwed up like how Meaghan screwed Namine's. Alyson did a pretty good job on this one.
Nobody: Here's, some cards. They'll be your friends.
*laughs*
*coughs* Anyways... I know I'm way late.... considering that I actually skimmed this thread the day it was posted. But anyways... I'm also pretty content with the voices. I'm waiting to actually play the game so that I can actually see hoe well they actually are throughout the game.
I'm sure that the voice actors/actresses did a fair job on the whole.
I know this is a bit after the fact and all, but I think I may have remembered something inconsequential, but a topic of earlier discussion anyway.
Hayden Panty-tiara, or however it's spelled, AKA Kairi (aside from working on Heroes and likely unavaliable) had said in interviews around the time of KH2 that she had to struggle sometimes to get that "Princess sound" for Kairi's voice, and that the Vocal Directors had to constantly be telling her that she needed to up it a few notes to hit the mark.
She may well be done as Kairi all together unless KH3, whenever it's released, takes place a few years down the road and her voice lines up again.
