In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

That was it. It was the grin, the confidence, nigh, the arrogance of this narcissistic, twisted, black-haired little bastard that ticked him off. Glancing 'round quickly to find this teen in the shade, not the sun, Louis sat himself down to the left of him. "Let me tell you something, you insolent child..." Louis gently snarled, audible only to maybe 4, perhaps 5 feet around.
He slid his right gauntlet off, revealing his bare, pale right hand, slowly sliding it's way upon the teen's shoulder, each moment of contact slowly but noticeably draining from the lad's health. He now whispered into the teen's ear, each word tinted with loathing for the juvenile. "...You are dealing with a force that is centuries old; An old, sprightly man forever in his teens. I've seen things you wouldn't believe. I've eons of experience beneath my belt, and I will unleash every ounce of it upon you if you do not relinquish your seat to the fair maiden in front of you...

Sage growled as the kid told them once again that he was not moving. She would have leaped over the seat to strangle his little neck if Louis had not acted first. She couldn't hear exactly what he was saying but she saw something almost white making contact with the brat's arm. "dealing with...forever...teens....wouldn't believe...experience....unleash every....maiden..." Woah, most of that talk made Sage shiver and she wasn't even the one he was talking to. She also thought that being called maiden was taking it a bit too far, after all, not even Sage thought she deserved that. Still she stood and waited, knowing that if the kid refused again to give up the seat she would be taking matters into her own hands.
Mamoru cocked his head to the side, letting the hand grip his shoulder tightly. He wasn't exactly sure what this was supposed to do, but it was certainly making him sleepy, maybe even a little weaker. He then realized the slight tingle- no, burning sensation on his shoulder, swatting the other man's hand away.
"Look, I don't know what you're trying to do, but I don't appreciate it. Let me let you in on a little something--" He brought up his own hand, the fingernails looked almost as if they were painted black. "I can tell you've got some tricks up your sleeve. I'm not exactly sure what your power is, but do not make me use mine. I will not hesitate. Are we clear? How about we put all of this behind us?" He flashed a grin. But, this was no ordinary grin.
This was a twisted grin of a infected, half-dead human. A human that would not hesitate to destroy everything, including the passengers on the train, innocent or not.
As the lad grinned, Louis couldn't help but shudder. This fellow felt more...devilish, and not in a poetic sense. A literal sense. It was something about his grin that just looked so...familiar...He couldn't have encountered this lad before...But there was something in his patched-on eye...
Concealing the twinge of fear that flew about him, he made a quiet inquisition.

Alright, this was it.
Sage stepped back and looked at the floor. "Oops, dropped my bracelet," she muttered and dropped onto her knees. She began to feel around the ground for the bracelet she 'dropped' and went under the seats of the train. Down there she shifted into her fox form and saw the shoes of the boy that was giving them all this trouble. How she wanted to shred them with her claws, but that wasn't what she had shifted for.
She jumped up into the seat of his right in the tiny gap between him and the window and sat back. A smirk formed as she shifted back to human form. Of course there wasn't enough space for that, so as she did she created space by shoving the kid over. She made sure to dig her elbow in real good into the kid's ribs and made herself comfortable next to the window. "Come on Louis, just pull him out of the seat." Sometimes a little force was needed.
Mamoru snickered. People were so nosy these days. "An infernomancer? Ya mean someone that deals with fire, yeah? No. I'm not one of those. But--" Mamoru smirked and gave the boy a small shock, nothing that would harm him, but enough to shake him up a little. Similar to the shock from a trick lighter, if a comparison was needed.
"I deal mainly in electricity. But my job description would file me as a Reaper. Need I show you anything else? I honestly don't thi--" Mamoru immediately stopped his sentence. The girl standing beside Louis had practically vanished. And then, a sharp pain in his ribs. The girl was beside him, digging her elbow into his side. How the hell did she get over there? The only way she could have without notice would be-
"Ah, so you're a shape-shifter. Some sort of quadruped, no doubt. I couldn't see you as something like a snake. They're far too ugly." He cleared his throat, threatening to expose her secret to everyone. These types of people were not common where he used to live, but in his lifetime he had seen the occasional person change into a wolf or a hawk in front of his own eyes. But this girl didn't look like a shape-shifter. She did not keep her animal-like features in human form, and no markings were visible on her face.
The small jolt tingled up Louis's spine, though it brought no fear...
No...no, it brought confidence, the slightest bit of confidence to stand up against this demonic child. His forte was electricity, the vampire's own specialty. He could take this fiend if all he did was zap, zap, zap away. Indeed, such would seem like the method of one with such poor vocabulary...
With a small breath, the wiser one corrected in a quiet tone. "No, sir, I do not mean a fire adept when I say Infernomancer. What I refer to is one who has enslaved himself to a life of servitude to a daemon of olde in exchange for...incredible powers."

So this kid was smart enough to guess what she was right away? She smirked as she leaned back in the seat, glad to have not gotten kicked out yet. "Actually I'm a teleporter, nice guess though." Coolly she looked at him, "Did you know that I could teleport your little ass over to the rear of this train if I wanted too? My buddy here wouldn't let me and suggested that we nicely ask for you to move but I don't think he'd have a problem with it anymore." Hopefully this kid wouldn't see through her bluff. He was staring at her weird, as if he was a king and she was something interesting... or just weird.
