In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Watching as Scryxis' facial expression changed as he gave her proposal a thought, the ginger waited patiently. She had never been one to fidget while doing so, either... thought it would be rude to the person that she was waiting on since fidgeting normally signified uneasiness or impatience. Probably just another one of those aspects that drew people to Kirata upon either seeing her or talking to her.
"I would greatly enjoy that, though I am afraid that at the moment I am at a lack of something to repay your kindness."
Opening her mouth to give her response (or rather-- 'polite' protest), Kirata hadn't gotten a word out till Scryxis continued, "But maybe...how long has it been since you've had something to eat, Kirata?"
Looking up and thinking about that for a moment, Kirata pursed her lips together and replied, "... well... I suppose that would have been sometime in the afternoon," she gave a light, yet sheepish laugh, "but... it wasn't exactly much, and a lot of people wouldn't really consider it 'having something' to eat. I was enjoying ice cream with some friends of mine...."
He nodded, recalling that there was a restraunt owner in town who owed him a favor. He had saved the man a few nights ago, and after the man offered him a free dinner.
"I know a restraunt on the edge of town, about ten miinutes walk from here. Why don't you let me get you some real food, hm?"
Quite alright... my muses haven't been all that active since my animation project has been taking up most of my time. So... my posts are most likely going to be shorter than what they usually are... that... or they'll be taking longer to get up. =\
"I know a restaurant on the edge of town, about ten minutes walk from here. Why don't you let me get you some real food, hm?"
Rubbing at the back of her neck and giving a sheepish grin, Kirata rose her free hand and waved it a bit. Opening her mouth to give her response, her stomach growled, causing her face to flush slightly. She was going to decline-- as she thought she may have been a burden... however... if Scryxis was like the other nice people that she had come across on her journeys, he was most likely going to laugh at the noise and ask her to come along anyways.
"Ah... haha... yeah, sure, I'd like that!" Kirata replied, a little embarrassed. However, she laughed a bit.... They always said that laughter was the best medicine... it was true in any case, not just when you were feeling down. If you laughed at your mistakes, it just proved that you could shove away the embarrassment of what just happened and poke fun at it later.
(No worries, Im not goin anywhere . Just reply when you can and Ill be around.)
Her response was hesitated, and Scryxis believed that she was about to turn down his offer. He wouldn't have made a fuss about it, she wouldn't have been the first to turn down his offer. Usually he could sense the awkwardness and fear in people, but he felt none of this from Kirata. His skin crawled with anticipation, hoping he would get a different answer from her.
"Ah... haha... yeah, sure, I'd like that!"
He smiled and nodded his head. He had heard her stomach grumble hollowly, and he smiled.
"Seems to me that your body was already decided on that answer. You cant survive on ice cream alone...even if you are a kid"
He gathered his bearings, taking a look around them before nodding his head. He pointed his finger in the direction the tracks were going, toward a side road that would take them near to the sandlot.
D| Ahhh... so sorry for the wait... getting stuff done still and I have a lot of stuff on my plate, it seems. However, thank you for being extremely patient with me, here is a long awaited post. D|
Kirata saw Scryxis smile and smiled back at him, still feeling a tad embarrassed that her stomach decided to growl at that point and time. Oh well... cant deny what her body craved-- and that was good food at the moment.
"Seems to me that your body was already decided on that answer. You cant survive on ice cream alone...even if you are a kid"
That was certainly true, Kirata's parents had made it something to drill into her's and Hikari's heads when they were growing up together. Just because it was a tasty treat didn't mean it had all the nutrients required to nourish a growing body-- however, it seemed that Kirata kept to that while Hikari seemed to like making eating sweets a daily habit... at least she did eat healthy more than she did chow down on sweets-- oh... and exercised.
Watching as Scryxis pointed ahead, she heard him ask, "shall we?"
Giving him a slight nod, Kira grinned up at him and replied, "of course~ Hehe~"
