In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Ria blinked at Rubix's statement. "T-thank you...?" she said slightly surprised.
Just as the battle started going down, it started right back up. It had seemed for a moment that they were winning until another batch appeared. This time with a few larger creatures, appearing out of no where just like the rest. And to top it off, Erika had disappeared again! Ria really wanted to help more now. Really. But it still stuck in her head that if she joined it would be a large mess. It's just so awkward standing here as everyone else fights though! She glanced over at Rubix. He looked fine and perfectly capable of taking care of himself. Then she looked back at the field. Only four left anyway. Max had taken a big chunk of the creatures out with and interesting water attack. Later, I'll have to find some really useful attacks like that too. Ria blinked. Aw, what the hell. Only four left and three of them dazed!
With that she darted off toward the nearest white creature, shouting back to Rubix as she went- "Watch your back for a moment will ya?" She flashed a teasing smile before looking back. Ria was only kidding with him. And she would have added a smart comment that related to his 'good-looking and tough' comment from earlier but she really couldn't think of anything that would be good. So, she continued her dash forward. The first creature was one of the ones dazed. Her right withdrew her sword and slashed through a neighboring critter as she grabbed onto the others... well, what would be a wrist if it had bones and hands. Her original plan was to throw it at the other dazed one by the wall and then chunking her sword at them to finish them off. But that was before she thought about the one she was holding snapping back to reality. It's ram slipped out of her hand and launched itself at her. Reaction kicked in, she pulled her sword up to meet it's chest as it came at her. "Note to self, don't grab these things." she said to herself as she watched it dissipate in front of her. Two down, two more to go.
It was interesting to see these people fight. Usually nothing interesting happens here, but today was good. The group of warriors seemed to know what they were doing, but for some strange reason, the Dusks didn't stop appearing.
Soon one of female's standing at the store joined the battle, but when Caxnon looked towards the shop, he saw a young male. Which was strange, he could have sworn that there was another female.
Caxnon slashed at the remaining two threats, one f them died but 3 more took it's place. What were they doing? And why attack today?
He turned his attention to wards the new Dusks, he dodged one attack by rolling to the side, then e spun around and froze his attacker.
'' Their trying to corner us, try and separate them from each other.'' Caxnon said.
First rule of the city watch: The city watch is here to serve and protect the people.
Never before had he had to enforce that rule as much as he did now. A large amount of these white things had popped up around town... his father had called them Dusks... they were not to be taken lightly, either. And although he was one of the younger members of the City Watch, the whole of the watch - even those not on duty - had rushed out to combat these things. And it was NOT easy... they flipped in and about, and were tricky little things to hit. But even hitting them didn't seem to damage them too much... it had taken a lot of effort just to take out one of them. Unlike his father, he was still somewhat new to combat, so without the aid of the techniques of the Paladin, things were much more difficult than they would be had he been more experienced.
However, this is one of his first real combat experiences. Training was one thing... but this was something completely different. He now understood why his training regiment was so intense. Upon looking around, he saw another group of people. However, they weren't running, they were fighting back. Thinking back to his teachings, there is strength in numbers. A group can handle much more than a single solitary person, and the more people assisting the better the odds of not only survival, but victory as well.
As Atreyus moved his way towards the group, he called out to them. "Is anyone injured? I can heal, though it is only a basic amount of healing..."
Mikael watched as water guy took care of a great part of the Nobodies. The other girl who had casted the fire line earlier joined the fight with a sword, only leaving two Dusks, one of which a familiar guy took care of. Suddenly three more appeared to continue with the assault. "Time to burn elasticboys" the fire user said as he kneeled and gave some of his energy to the ground. Suddenly, walls of fire came out of the floor and eliminated the four remaining Dusks, only to be replaced by ten more.
Mikael then turned to see that the gun girl had disappeared, but a brunet had joined them. He seemed to be on his early or mid teens, but he was surely the youngest at the area. The fire warrior turned toward the spear wielded and spoke. "Are you alright?" he said before defeating another son of nothingness.
"Am I all right?" Max asked the fire kid,"I'm a soldier......of couse I'm all right. I just needed a few moments to catch my wind."
Max straightened up, hefting his spear as ten more of the white things appeared. They certainly were persistent, he would give them that. But, persistence could sometimes be suicide.
And he intended to prove it to them.
Recuperated enough from his attack on them with the water, he dashed forward, slower than usual but still fast enough to close the gap well and swung out at one of the white things. It dodged, slithering into the air just as he'd expected, and Max countered with a blast of water from underneath it, knocking it higher into the air. As it started to fall, he stabbed upward through its head with its spear, the white thing bursting apart into nothing.
He kicked out at another one as it neared, rearing back with its clawed fingers to strike out at him, but it hadn't been paying attention and his kick connected with it right in tis chest, knocking it back slightly and Max retaliated again with another swipe of his spear, the blade cutting into its head and turning it to nothingness just like the others.
This fighting, though, was starting to wear on him. He could keep going for a long while still, but it wouldn't be as strong as his retaliation was at the beginning of the fight.
