In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Lexaeus had expected Seed to come and attack him, but he attacked the human instead. But it also seemed like to human would be able to hold his own for a short while. If Lexaeus teamed up with Seed the human would have a 0% chance of victory. But a Nobody helping a Heartless? No chance. Lexaeus positioned himself for a windmill style attack and waited for an opening.
"Break!" the Silent Hero yelled as he used his stronger Flare to propel him towards Seed. His arms stretched as far as the could and Torn Heaven in his right hand, Lexaeus seemed like a blur as he picked up speed to attack the Heartless. The wisps of the Flare making an end trail of Pink, White, and Black.
That was all that Zedd was able to say as Seed seemingly "vanished" and then re-appeared to Zedd's right, completely unharmed. Then, as he jumped up in the air, two of him appeared to the right and to the left of Zedd. Unfortunately, Zedd's haste spell was starting to wear off.
"Aero, Haste!"
Zedd's Magic was running low! That was never a good thing! Zedd had discovered many years ago, that when you start getting weak, your Magic will come back. Even while in battle. So, Zedd had his staff transform into it's sword form, and he jumped forward. Doing a wide, arc swing, hoping to hit atleast something!
The illusion Seed(s) attacks weren't able to land because of the Hast spell on Zedd. It didn't matter, a REAL attack was what was going to be needed to kill this human. Seed met Zedd in mid-air in a weapon dead lock. You might be wondering how a WOODEN staff can lock with a metal sword. Simple. The staff is reinforced with metal filings. The wood in the staff did bend backwards a bit when the two weapons met. Both he and Zedd fell to the ground still in the weapon lock.
"Your a fool you know. You left yourself open from the----." Seed cut himself off when he saw out of the corner of his eye Lexaeus being propelled like a rocket in a windmill attack. Seed quickly guessed he had about 5 seconds to react, as he thought this he used some fire magic to fuse his metal staff to Zedd's sword. Of course it wasn't a strong bond but it will do. Seed grabbed the top of the staff and pulled himself upwards and put his legs on the staff and pushed backwards into a back flip . The force might have sent Zedd backwards a bit but all Seed wanted to do was get out of the way. He may have in fact left Zedd to take the hit.
Seed's idea worked both for him, and slightly against him. On the positive note, he was able to get away from the charging Lexaeus, and put Zedd in harms way. But on the negative side, his staff was still fused with Zedd's sword. Not by much, but enough so that Zedd was able to yank on his sword as Seed pushed off with his foot. He was able to pull the sword and staff towards him enough to where he was able to break off the bond, and hopefully make Seed's grip on it not hold anymore. But Zedd was also able to with the force of his pull, spin around so he was also doing a backflip.
Since he was facing toward the charging Lexaeus, he was able to block the attack. Both with his sword, and with his already in place Aero spell. But just because he blocked the attack doesn't mean that Lexaeus hitting him didn't hurt! Not to mention the fall to the ground. So, as Zedd fell to the ground, he let out a quiet, "Oomph!" Then, he shakily stood to his feet. Hoping that his Magic would come back soon.
V's original target had moved out of the path of his charge and put the human in his place. Both were enemies of Lexaeus so it didn't matter. As he got closer Lexaeus stopped his spinning and was simply flying towards the human. Both his hands on Torn Heaven Lexaeus braced him self for impact. He also noticed that the boy had an Aero shield put up. Against this momentum and power it would do very little to block the attack. 2 seconds from impact Lexaeus was already bringing Torn Heaven down.
Impact!. Torn Heaven made a loud thud against the wind veil and sent a shock wave outward and hit Seed, sending him backwards slightly. The shield was stronger then Lexaeus had thought, unable to breakthrough it the veil "exploded" and sent both Zedd and Lexaeus back. Doing a flip in the air Lexaeus landed on a tree branch and saw that Zedd hadn't been greatly injured, Seed either. Damn. If he and the Heartless were going to fight this Human was going to be exterminated first. If V was to let him go, word of a black cloak man in Twilight Town might reach the enemies of the Organization, or worse, Xemnas.
"Your magic is strong boy. But not strong enough to survive both me and the Heartless, I advise you choose between life or certain death." Lexaeus then adverted his gaze at Seed at lunged at him, Torn Heaven ready at hand.
(Don't bother asking about the power play in Lex's post Doogie, he asked me to do that)
The shock wave that was generated by the impact of Torn Heaven and the Aero shield hit Seed and sent him flying into a tree. CRACK! Seed's spine hit the tree trunk and sent immense pain signals to his brain. Seed got up as quickly as he could with a look of annoyance.
"He's WAY stronger then he looks. Maybe I got in way my head this time. But damn, he really must be Elaeus's nobody. Ha, that doesn't mean I'm going to give up. But I'm not going to die here either. Elaeus still needs me!" Seed whispered to himself as he pulled out 8 metal arrow heads and infused blizzard magic into them.
If Seed WAS going to die, why not put on one hell of a show!!!!? Seed let out a yell of anger and leaped into the air at Lexaeus when he saw the Nobody lunging at him again. Throwing the arrow heads at the Nobody, Seed used his wind magic to send him into a spinning motion. Much like Lexaeus had done before, except Seed was doing this with his legs. Not much is as painful as a two legged kick.
((Ok, I feel a tad bit dumb, but I'm slightly confused. OK, so, just to make sure, Lexaeus is on his fet, and he threatened Zedd. And Zedd has gotten up shakily, and Seed is shooting off toward Lexaeus doing the same thing Lexaeus was doing except Seed is gonna hit--...Lexaeus...?--with his feet
"...I advide you choose between life and certain death"
"So, only those two choices? Well, I guess I'll have to choose...well, which one would keep us all alive?"
This was becoming one of the more confusing fights Zedd had ever been in. Mostly it was two sides, each side trying to kill one another. But this fight was kinda wierd where people were trying to kill everyone, but seemed to be willing to make shaky alliances in order to kill the other, and then kill their "ally". Both Seed and Lexaeus couldn't stop thinking about killing each other! This was getting very tiresome for Zedd. He wished they could just agree to disagree!
Then, as if so emphasize Zedd's point that they wouldn't stop fighting, Seed shot off like a rocket at Lexaeus. Ugh, seemed like Zedd was going to let this one slide, and let those two concentrate on one another for a little while, and let his magic recharge just a little more!
Lexaeus deflected the arrow heads by putting Torn Heaven in their path, but now Seed was coming at him with an attack much like the one V had tried before. Lexaeus made his flare power extend outward even more as he put Torn Heaven away into the twilight. Lexaeus carefully examined Seed's approach and technique. Sloppy. The way he was spinning Lexaeus could easily grab him and throw him to the ground. That's exactly what needs to be done. V has no intention on killing him today. He wants this boy to give a message to Elaeus.
"You've left yourself open you fool!" Lexaeus said as he reached out with hand and grabbed Seed by his leg the instant an opening was there. V used his Flare to send himself spinning upward. Then. Almost a split second later Lexaeus sent Seed flying to the ground.
(Just think of the Fail Safe reaction command for the Assassin Nobodies to picture Lexys attack)
"Wha-WHAT!??" was all Seed could say as Lexaeus grabbed him and tossed him to the ground. Seed landed went skidding across the ground and slammed into a tree. A trail of smoke followed him as he went crashing into it. With his breathing shallow and body in pain, Seed got up and let out a crazy laugh. It's been a long time since he was put into a corner like this. Too long in fact.
"HAHAHAHAHA! Your truly are Elaeus's Nobody! How fun!" Seed yelled as he thought of using his most powerful attack. Big Bang. He checked his pockets with his good arm to see if he even had enough of them. 3 regular, 1 Napalm, and 5 Sticky. More then enough.
Breathing heavily Seed took out the three regular and his last Claymore grenade and used his wind magic to pull the pins and throw them at......Zedd? Yup, Seed knew that Lexaeus could easily dodge this attack. So he decided to attack his other foe.
Zedd had just been standing by, watching as the heartless and nobody fought, and then the heartless just had to drag Zedd back into it! He actually threw 4 grenades at Zedd! Realizing what Seed was doing after he turned, Zedd had his sword transform back into a staff and yelled, "Hastera! Aeroa! Reflera!"
Even while yelling Aeroa, and Reflera, Zedd was on the move! He knew that he wouldn't get away even if he had haste casted on him. Even though he knew this, he still tried! He had managed to dodge most of them, but the impact of the four grenades put together threw Zedd into a tree! Then the shrapnel from the Claymore grenade all came rushing at Zedd! Luckily his Reflera shield was able to make some of it bounce off, and others just stopped because of his Aeroa shield, and then well, some of it hit him, and it hurt!
Zedd was almost about to just go full out attack on Seed and ignore Lexaeus when he realized where he was. He was against a tree, and one of the branches had fallen to the ground. And the end of that branch was sharp! So, Zedd thought for a second, and realized how he could use this to his advantage!
"FIRAGA!"
Now, you would think that Zedd would have aimed this attack at either Seed or Lexaeus. But alas, you would be wrong there! For Zedd actually aimed this fire attack at the trees! And just like he hoped, the trees caught on fire! And what happens when wood catches on fire? It starts smoking! So not only did this create a dangerous situation, it also provided some cover! So, before his vision of Lexaeus and Seed was completely blocked by smoke, he yelled out,
"Thundera! Firaga! Now boys, this fight can keep going, and we can all burn to death, or you can stop the fighting!"
Hopefully they would choose the latter of the two, but at the moment, it was whatever they chose! Because either way, Zedd was going to live, because well....he had a plan!
So, Seed was more resilient then he looked. His injuries were apparent though. But Lexaeus was a little shocked when the boy let out a crazy laugh. Was he really this insane? Lexaeus put Torn Heaven at the ready and gave Seed a bit of food for thought.
"True, I am that boy's Nobody. But do not think he is the stronger one. Why do you think he hides from me?". V was about to attack again when he saw Seed throw more grenades not at him....but at Zedd. Lexaeus knew he had to get a little more distance from the human if he wanted to remain unscathed. Dashing about 6 feet to the left, Lexaeus looked back to see that Zedd had caught a tree on fire. Letting out a sigh of "defeat" Lexaeus decided to flee. With this much smoke and sounds of explosions, the townsfolk's attention would clearly be drawn here. Opening a portal Lexaeus sent Torn Heaven to the twilight and stepped through.
Seed continued his laughter as he saw Zedd light the trees on fire. Maybe this kid could be the one Elaeus needed. Hmm. Seed would have to talk to this kid again.
"Lexaeus you coward!!!", Seed yelled as he sensed Lexaeus leave. Seed wouldn't be staying here too, but pass up the chance to insult someone?...Never.
Seed tossed another grenade towards Zedd as he opened up a Dark portal himself. The best one of all. A Napalm grenade. Lets see Zedd run from this.
"Have fun explaining this to the cops little one..ow" Seed laughed as he felt the endorphins wear off in his body, feeling the pain. He stepped through the portal to inform Elaeus of the encounter.
And there then was one. Truthfully,this is what Zedd had been hoping for! Now all that Zedd had to do was act innocent, and stumble out of the woods, and act like he had gotten attacked by several strong heartless. Of course this was only stretching the truth, and he was leaving out the nobody. But only Zedd, Lexaeus, and Seed would know what really happened in those woods!
So, Zedd hurriedly ran towards the exit of the woods toward the city, and slowed down. He then put a dazed, confused look on his face, and started to fake stumble out of the woods. When he saw some people rush to his aid, he kept going. When they were helping him, he said one thing, "Heartless!" Then he slipped into unconsiousness, more from exhaustion than anything else really, but it worked!
After awaking, Zedd only had to answer a few questions by saying "heartless" or "heartless attacked me", and he was let off the hook. Nobody doubted him for one second. And after that, well, Zedd just kept on adventuring!
