In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Boring, and boring, and more boring. Those were Shun´s thoughts when speaking about his life at Traverse Town. Life was so different that back then when Merlin still lived at the Mystical House. He had given him the dagger, and the Book of Memories, and taught him some magic as well.
But that was far behind in the past, and Merlin was nowhere to be found. Also, for some reason, the Fairy Godmother didn´t wanted to reveal his location, only saying that he has traveled to other world. Away, away from him.
Some days ago, the summoner wished for something anormal to happen. Now, he regretted it, and that wasn´t enough. Now he wanted to get out of Traverse Town no matter what. "I hope Jadis is not around at the moment. Meeting her twice has been enough for now." the boy thought as he walked through the First District. Even though she claimed that the dark hole had been an accident, Shun believed another thing. She had been afraid of the Mage Mashers, afraid that they could be used against her.
"Maybe heading to the Second District will send my boredom away." And with that, he started to head toward the door.
((So, is this thread in the first District? Then moving to the second? Just wondering))
Doogie had been travelling without his parents for several months so far. Not once had he met somone that turned out to be his friend. He was hoping that this world would be different. He was hoping that he would make a friend that would want to travel with him, for traveling from world to world by yourself is very boring! Then, as he stepped out of his gummi ship, armed with the spells in his brain, a sword at his hip, and a notebook and pencil in his hand.
Then, as he was exploring what he found out to be the First District, he saw someone that caught his eye about to walk to a door, leading to...somewhere else. This person that he saw looked quite friendly, hopefully Doogie's thoughts on this person were right.
"Excuse me sir, do you know where we are? And would you mind showing me around this new world?"
He of course said this after walking up to this person. He was of course hoping that this person would be nice, and agree, but as Doogie knew, not everyone was nice. So, Doogie was prepared for a fight, should one be needed.
((Maybe, maybe not. Let us see where the thread leads us. *is stunned by his cryptic words*))
If Shun knew Doogie, he would envy him. He wanted to travel and visit many worlds, and the only way to do so was a Gummi Ship... excluding dark and light portals. But, he would have to be happy with the Second and Third Districts for the moment. The teen checked again to see if his weapons were at the right place. "Good, my dagger is here," he said as he glanced at his right hip. There it was, the golden-hilted blade, carefully hidden by his shirt.
While his left hand holded the Book of Memories, he proceeded to open the door to the next district... but stopped when he heard a voice behind him. "Excuse me sir, do you know where we are? And would you mind showing me around this new world?" Shun turned around to see a boy around his age talking to him. He had dirty blond hair and weird gray eyes. At first, the summoner doubted he was talking to him since he used the term "sir", but after a few moments of eye contact he decided to speak.
"Oh, well this place is called Traverse Town, although I like to call it a rock sometimes." he replied. Shun was about to ask "So your world was destroyed?", but he scratched the idea on his mind when the words "new world" escaped his mouth. "Uh... sure! This part of the world is called the First District. As you can see it is the safest place of all, being where most of the people live." Shun turned his head toward the door behind him. "That´s the door to the Second District, the largest of the three in my opinion. It is somewhat dangerous since some Heartless show up sometimes." The boy wasn´t sure if the guy in front of him knew how to fight, but since he appearantly traveled between worlds, the summoner concluded that he did.
"So, this is the First District? And that is the Second? How many Districts are there? Now, these Heartless that you mentioned, would they happen to be little black creatures that have yellow eyes? Cause I have seen them before, and gosh, they are sooo creepy!"
Well, this world seemed like it would take a while to fully explore. It seemed like it might be pretty big from this nice person's description! As Doogie thought about the size of the world, he realized, he didn't know this person's name!
"Oh! Where are my manners? My name is Doogie, what is yours?"
Doogie was hoping that he could befriend this person and have a friend to travel with, because he really was lonely! He had no parents to go visit, and no friends to adventure with!
"Yep, and there are three of them. Some people say there is a fourth one called the "Zero District", but there isn´t any proof that it exists. And yellow-eyed black creatured? Yeah, those would be your average Heartless, called Shadows. There are many other kinds of those s- things, such as Soldiers and Large Bodies." Now, Shun felt like a Welcomer. Heh, he didn´t know he could do the job that well! Maybe he should... no, he wasn´t going to stay at Traverse Town. He was going to go and explore, meet new people and see new places!
"Haha, mine also disappeared for a moment. Nice to meet you Doogie, I am Shun." he said before extending his right hand for him to shake. This Doogie and the summoner were very alike. Both of them didn´t have parents and no true friends. Maybe their reunion was made possible by destiny!
As Shun held his hand out for Doogie to shake, Doogie grasped his hand, saying,
"Nice to meet you Shun! So, a "Zero District"? That seems like a place that someone would hide something! Very interesting!" Doogie stored that bit of information in his mind for further pondering. "As for these Heartless, so there isn't just one kind of heartless? Well, that sucks! Hopefully together we can beat them! Speaking of that, would you like to accompany me on an adventure? I am travelling the worlds, figuring out secrets of the worlds! I am a treasure hunter of sorts, but I'm not that good at it. I mainly do it in memory of my parents, for they died while in a gummi ship leaving for a treasure hunt."
As Doogie mentioned his parents, he felt a pang of sorrow, but he wasn't wanting Shun's pity. No, Doogie was done feeling sorry for himself. All Doogie really wanted was a travelling companion, even if it could only be while he was here on this world!
"Actually, it is said that the Zero District is made of only objects and items. But as I said before, these are just rumors." Even though he didn´t like to admit it, Shun actually believed that this rumor was true. Merlin had found the Book of Memories at the Zero District. Anyone could be able to tell that the boy was lost in his thoughts and memories by just looking at his eyes. His eyes were really windows to his soul and heart. Then, Shun noticed that Doogie changed the subject and started to talk about the Heartless. The summoner´s facial expression turned serious; that subject was not made to joke.
The boy simply blinked when he heard Doogie speak about the two of them being able to get rid of the Heartless. Even if both of them managed to be a hyper duo, that wasn´t enough to destroy all of the Heartless. They were part of reality; light cannot exist without a darkness trying to tarnish it. However, when the drawer invited him to come along with him, Shun´s expression changed. "A- an adventure? At a Gummi Ship?" It looked like fate had smiled upon the young wielder of the Book of Memories.
Yup! An adventure! And it is on a gummi ship! Cause how else would you get from world to world!" he said jokingly. Doogie never was one to be mean if someone questioned something. Actually, it was his turn to ask a few questions.
"So, do you accept my offer? It would be so great if you did! Especially if you want to see the worlds! So what say you? Will you come with me, or no?"
As Doogie asked this, he was almost positive that Shun's answer would be a yes. But as Doogie was asking if Shun would join him, he noticed that Shun's only weapon was a dagger. But then he noticed a book, and wondered just how similar Doogie and Shun actually were.
At last, Shun would be able to get out of Traverse Town. And he would be traveling on a gummi ship; a gummi ship! Excitement ran rapidly by the summoner's veins, he was sure ready to leave the world! To Doogie's comment about the traveling methods, the boy didn't think about it until he was halfway in the sentence. "Well, you could always make a por-"
No, he was going to wait a bit before touching the subject of darkness again. "Nevermind that, and I would really love to join you on this journey!" he replied brightly, giving the drawer a small grin. So, it was decided. No more Shun-ness for Traverse Town for now on. Now, there would be daily Shun-ness for all of the worlds!
"...I would really love to join you on this journey!"
Shun actually agreed to join Doogie! The two had known each other for only a few minutes, but Doogie could tell that they would make really good friends!
"Awesome! Well, since I just got here, I plan on exploring some. Is that ok with you? If you wouldn't mind, would you kinda lead me around? And I noticed that you have a dagger...is that your only weapon? Cause I also noticed a book, and I was wondering about it..."
Yes, Doogie had in fact noticed the book, and because of Doogie's unusual ability, he was always curious about people's books.
(bleh, sorry for delay, and for crappy-ness of post...)
"Awesome! Well, since I just got here, I plan on exploring some. Is that ok with you? If you wouldn't mind, would you kinda lead me around? And I noticed that you have a dagger...is that your only weapon? Cause I also noticed a book, and I was wondering about it..."[/i] When his companion spoke once again, Shun's daydream came to an end. So he wanted to explore a bit, huh? Maybe it would be the perfect opportunity to find the keyhole... and maybe visit the Fairy Godmother one last time.
"Not at all, there might be a thing or two of your interest at the Second District, why not start by there?" When Doogie spoke about his weapons, the summoner was a bit surprised. He didn't expected that type of question. "What, this piece of metal? No, I am actually not very good with it. My main weapon is this book," Shun said proudly, showing the book to the other boy. He wasn't exactly being show-offy though. "It contains all sorts of summons, but I have only unlocked two. I am looking forward to find some more."
After replying, the summoner proceeded to open the door to the Second District. Time for kicking some Heartless butt! "After you"
