Kingdom Hearts Crash Course
]
Kingdom Hearts Crash CourseKingdom Hearts has a very complex storyline to delve into! It's amazing, but it can get confusing. Rather than detail what happens in each game, we’ll have a crash course here to get the important points across. If you would like, on your own time you can always brush up on every game synopsis, but that is not a requirement here on World Destiny.
Canon Knowledge is of course required if you desire to play a Canon Character, but for someone who just wants to play their character, knowledge of the entire Kingdom Hearts series is not required.
For people who wish to go through the entire Kingdom Hearts story, the chronological order of the games is:
KHUX -> Union + Darkroad -> Birth by Sleep -> KH 1 -> 358/2 Days -> Chain of Memories -> Kingdom Hearts 2 -> KH: Coded -> Dream Drop Distance -> KH 3 -> Melody of MemorySo what’s pertinent?Kingdom Hearts is a very poetic series, which is important to keep in mind. Many themes trickle down through the series in very creative and beautiful ways. The following explanations will be broad swathes and ideas that are recurrent in the franchise, so that those who haven’t played through the games can better get a handle of what the series is basically about, and feel more comfortable RPing here on World Destiny.
Light vs. Darkness themeThe series has always been a story about the clash between the Darkness and the Light. In some form, the two sides have always been at odds. The Darkness has always tried to conquer the Light; and the Light has always expelled the Dark.
Locking and UnlockingAnother theme of the games is the concept of locks. Locking and Unlocking extends into many of the games: from paths one travels to and from worlds, to the locking and unlocking of hearts, memories, etc… Just about any creative thing you can lock and unlock. So what magical, mysterious force has the power to lock and unlock?
KeybladesNone other than the franchise’s unique weapon, of course! To go along with the theme of locking and unlocking things, there are Keyblades. In addition to having the power to lock and unlock things, Keyblades hold the unique ability to eradicate the game’s main baddies: the Heartless. These creatures are born from the darkness within a person’s heart. When darkness consumes a person’s heart, they become corrupted and turn into a Heartless.
Anyone may temporarily defeat a Heartless, but the Heartless will go back to the realm of darkness, where it may come back again.
Only a Keyblade will take the Heartless out of circulation, and free the heart within.
Gallactic TravelThe story of Kingdom Hearts also has a lot to do with traveling between worlds, and helping the protagonists of individual Disney and Final Fantasy worlds defeat the forces of Darkness for that particular world’s storyline.
In one of the first games, Donald briefly mentions to Goofy the importance of keeping the knowledge of world-hopping under wraps, so they can protect the World Order. This sentiment is later reflected in the main character Sora’s deflection when questions are asked about who he is or where he comes from.
Throughout the game, Donald also uses his magic to disguise the main character and his friends so that they better blend in with the current world they’re visiting.
Characters to know:There are too many characters in the Kingdom Hearts Universe to list them all, so only the more prominent characters will be listed. Perhaps there’s somebody on the list your character has heard about or encountered before?
ProtagonistsSora,
Donald and
Goofy are the trio the franchise largely focusses around. They are less heavily focussed here on World Destiny largely because we want to keep the storyline flexible, so our story is widely shaped around who is here at the time, and what those characters are doing.
Roxas The key of Destiny is Sora’s Nobody, and was Number Thirteen in Organization XIII.
Namine is Kairi’s Nobody, and she has the ability to manipulate Sora’s memories and the memories of those close to him.
Xion was derived from Sora’s memories of Kairi, and she is an imperfect replica of Sora. She was Rank Fourteen in Organization XIII.
King Mickey is the king of Disney Castle, and also a keyblade wielder. Thus far, none have heard from him during the Nightfall. His whereabouts remain unknown. Additionally, Mickey is played by Staff and therefore unavailable for application.
Kairi is another keyblade wielder. She is Sora and Riku’s best friend.
Riku is one of the main characters of the Kingdom Hearts series, and keyblade wielder.
Lea is the original personification of his Nobody, Axel, and a close friend of Isa’s.
Master Aqua is marked by her supreme capabilities with the Keyblade. She is friends with Terra and Ventus. Her name is latin for Water.
Terra is a main protagonist in Birth by Sleep. He and Aqua were apprentices under Master Eraqus. His name is latin for Earth.
Ventus is also known as Ven, and is the youngest of his friend group, which includes Aqua and Terra. He was also a apprentice under Master Eraqus, and his name means Wind.
Master Eraqus - Deceased was the Keyblade Master who taught Aqua, Terra and Ventus in the Land of Departure.
Radiant Garden Restoration Committee is a special group dedicated to restoring the world of Radiant Garden to what it was before Malifecent and Xehanort’s Heartless plunged the world into darkness.
A side note about Final Fantasy characters:Final Fantasy characters usually take on younger versions of themselves in the Kingdom Hearts universe, although this is not always the case. The Gullwings Yuna, Riku and Paine appear as pixie versions of themselves, while Leon (Squall) and Aerith seem to be aged about equal to what they appeared as in their respective Final Fantasy games.
VilliansFor all the protagonists the Kingdom Hearts franchise has, it has a whole lot of baddies, too.
Master XehanortThe single largest threat in the Kingdom Hearts universe to date has been Master Xehanort. Able to weave through time. Several incarnations of him exist throughout the franchise, including but not limited to: Young Xehanort, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas.
Organization XIIIis made up of thirteen Nobodies tricked into becoming clones of Master Xehanort. Their ranks have fluctuated significantly since their inception in Kingdom Hearts 2. While some of their members may pop up on World Destiny, as many of the members are available for application, the plot behind the Organization Thirteen is not one our story will focus on too heavily (yet).
Dark XII - Now obsoleteA group comprised of the Heartless counterparts to the Organization Thirteen, this group was exclusive to World Destiny. Led by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, this group is responsible for plunging the world into the events we now know as the Nightfall. For unknown reasons, after the calamity, this group has fallen into obscurity. Even the memory of them has gone by the wayside in light of the recent events that have left most survivors largely just struggling to survive.
11th Hour Advertise themselves to strangers as friendly (albeit mysterious), and capable of harrowing in a new dawn.
Working in conjunction with the Moogles, the 11th Hour ensured that every survivor was equipped with an Osmosis Amulet: this special trinket empowers the user to fight with their emotions, but there’s a twist: the Osmosis Amulet also, unbeknownst to everyone, siphons off a piece of the emotional energy the user relies on to fight, funneling the negative bits into their own specific cryochamber.
Scions The coelesced concentrations of negative emotions will eventually give birth to paragons of any particular emotion. Individuals within the 11th Hour may also nominate themselves as the focus on these emotional concentrations, becoming a Scion themselves. Each Scion will take a different form, fitting lore where possible. Some of these may change, if a user has a great idea for a negative emotion not listed here, and presents it to Staff, we may take that idea into the fold instead. As it stands, the Scions will be thus:
+ Hatred (A demon : Magma body, trailing in shadows into a distance none can pinpoint. Glowing eyes. )
+ Despair (Ziz) (Manticore)
+ Rage (Lyssa — Associated with anger and frenzy ; Feminie shadow structure )
+ Fear (Basilisk)
+ Vengeance (Erinyes ‘Furies’ … women dieties of vengeance. ; Crossed with Harpies)
+ Sorrow (Catoblepas)
+ Emptiness (Vampire)
+ Shame / Guilt / Remose
+ Envy
+ Doubt
If you have a great idea for one and would like to pose it to Staff, please do! We encourage your creativity and look forward to hearing from you. =]
Other heavy hitters for the bad team:Maleficentis known as the Mistress of all Evil, she is a dastardly scheming witch who is one of the main antagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series.
Peteused to be a steamboat captain. He is currently the arch-enemy to Mickey, Donald and Goofy, and the brutish side-kick for Maleficent.
Hadesis the ruler of the Underworld, Zeus’s younger brother and Hercules’ arch-nemesis.

Progression
]
ProgressionFrom the point of the Premise to the end, the sections below this intend to detail the Plot Progression made on World Destiny.
Chapter 2 - A Light in the DarknessJust in time, a Keyblade Wielder from another world surfaces in Twilight Town just as a massive tremor rocks the world. She offers the Survivors a way off the world. The Denizens of Light find themselves in a new world: San Fransokyo. There is much more activity here than on Twilght Town, and the world itself is in better shape, but the Nightfall caused a lot of damage, and no world is completely unscathed by it.
There is still much to do, but weary from the trip, many of the Denizens of Light must rest to regain their strength.
The Moogles, setting up a new home base in an empty building in the bustling city, are already drawing up new plans for the best course of action: they look forward to discussing some of these ideas once the tired survivors have rested.
Chapter 1 - The NightfallAfter the universe was plunged into shadow, survivors of the catastrophe found themselves transported to Twilight Town: a world once warm and ever-evening; but instead of the familiar picture, the calamity of darkness had transformed the scenery: the world was in shambles, parts of it inaccessible, and the once constant sunset had been replaced by a haunting, fractured moon. The dark canopy of early night sky would hang, ever empty, over the shattered sanctuary below.
The beginning of The Nightfall was messy: Heartless around every corner - the Darkness for a moment, stilled, ever looming, threatening at any moment to distrupt the quiet in a single leap foward and swallow the last of the Light.
However, the survivors, ever resourceful, found the courage to stand up against the looming presence darkness, and several factions cropped up:
The Moogles were the main source of unity, bringing survivors together, organizing a plan and really being the elsewise magical glue that held the tiny sanctuary together.
The Eleventh Hour also came about, formed in the shadows of the apocalypse; little is known about them, but word has gotten out that the group is led by a mysterious and charismatic Aegyl named Kalos. It was with his help that the Moogles were able to create a trinket that strengthened the survivors; the Moogles encouraged each denizen of light to use their Osmosis Amulets to empower their emotions, and to lean into that power in battle.
As the survivors scrambled to keep the last sparks of Light alive, another threat made itself known: an enormous black dragon injured one of their own, putting pressure on the Denizens of Light, who relocated the Sanctuary from the open streets, to the safety of the Underground.
The Moogles had two pressing issues to sort out that would, hopefully, allow the good to prosper: the closing of Twilight Town's Keyhole, and the retrieval of another powerful player, Ventus, from Castle Oblivion. The Survivors' numbers were divided, their tasks set before them.
Those sent to Castle Oblivion encountered Young Xehanort, who gave Aqua and the others a run for their money. Many were sent away by Aqua as she struggled against Xehanort. No one has seen Aqua since.
Meanwhile, the reverberations of actions by Lea and Xion had caused several worlds to begin to awaken. And just in time, too. Because just as the Light reacted by wakening the worlds, the Darkness responded by restricting its hold.
Twilight Town has, for now, been cut off, with barely enough time for its inhabitants to expel from it.

Guidelines
]
Who we are
Kingdom Hearts: World Destiny is an AU Kingdom Hearts RP & Community. Our literacy threshold is semi-literate and up. We are not elitist, but we do request that a person communicate respectfully and using punctuation. We enjoy conversing with others who share our love for the series, either as a whole, or at the very least in part: with overlapping interest in Disney and/or Final Fantasy.
Please note that RPers who are applying for Canon Characters should be knowledgeable of the character they're applying for. If a person wants to apply for, say, Simba, and knows The Lion King well but hasn't played through Kingdom Hearts, they can apply for Simba.
We look forward to writing with you!
Community Rules
Every site has guidelines for its members to follow to ensure the community functions in an orderly and polite fashion. World Destiny has a small cluster of Community Rules and they are as follows:
1) Respect each other
We RPers come from varying backgrounds, and therefore it is inevitable that we will eventually not see eye-to-eye on certain things. World Destiny does not tolerate descrimination. This rule covers:
• Racism
• Sexism
• Political views
• Religious hatred
• Personal flaming
Additionally, please refrain from political discussion as much as possible. The world is pretty divided right now, and in an attitude of respecting everyone, we would like to keep the peace here.
2) In the event of offense, de-escalate
In case someone rubs you the wrong way, please don't fight on the forums. Please try not to be offensive, but equally try not to take undue offense. In doing so, we can ensure a more peaceable coexistance.
3) Don't spam
Please refrain from spamming. This rule includes:
• Posting pointless in-character replies just to up your count,
• Posting meaningless in-character replies/topics.
4) No 18+ or Illegal Links/Images will be tolerated.
The rules are lax, but we do not want to see any adult images or links to adult sites on here. If you want to tell people about something funny you found that toes the edge, then link to it and make it clear in your post that it is not work/family safe or could be explicit.
5) Cursing and Violence levels
About cursing Out of Character (OOC), don't curse at one another. If you're saying something about a particular topic, or it's just part of your speech, that's fine, but no direct attacks. You may speak however you like, as long as you aren't directing curses at each other.
It's okay for characters to swear and curse at each other, but make sure it stays in-character, and please keep it limited. Kingdom Hearts is a franchise that's safe for children. Characters who curse like sailors might be a little too strong for the franchise.
6) Warning Policy and Procedure
In the highly unlikely event unscrupulous individuals should make trouble within our community, World Destiny will operate on a warnings policy. If rules are broken the individual will get a warning from a staff member through Private Message explaining the reason for the warning. If the individual desires, they can appeal via PM to the staff member who issued the warning. Typically the staff is lenient and don't often issue a warning. We also will not be monitoring every small move you make. The warnings guideline is just here in case it's needed. We ask to receive is a clear and polite communication, and we will do our best to provide the same.
If an individual gets 3 warnings, the individual is banned for a week. After the week ban, they will be given another chance to play.
[/PTab]
[PTab= Activity

]
Activity
Kingdom Hearts: World Destiny has several members who have to work to pay the bills, so we are welcoming of those who cannot post every day. This community is inviting to all.
That said, we also would like to keep a certain level of activity. We request a minimum of one post every two weeks.
Activity checks will happen Bi-monthly: they will be in the form of announcements here and on Discord. This way they will be hard to miss. If you are worried about missing one due to real life circumstances, please make use of our Departures board, or contact a Staff member directly through PM or Discord. Letting us know ensures that we can mark you as present in case an activity check happens.
Miss an activity check? Don't worry! We will not delete your account. Your account will simply be marked Inactive. If you are currently RPing as a Canon character, that character may become available for other RPers.
If your account is marked Inactive, just speak with a Staff Member to return your account to Active status.

[PTab= Spell Synthesis

]
Spell SynthesisOn World Destiny, we wanted to implement a synthesis system that was fun for the users.
Basic Elemental Materia may be synthesized by Dueler X at the Materia Synthesizer 9000 in order to create new spells. Currently only two pure Materia may be synthesized. Pure Materia covers any Materia available from the Shop with the exception of Member-Created Materia. Member-Created Materia currently cannot be synthesized.
In the synthesizing process, order matters. Make sure to specify the order you plan to create your spell with. Synthesizing Ice + Thunder would give you a different result than synthesizing Thunder + Ice.
What do I do with my spell/item when it doesn't have a description?Synthesized spells and some select other items on World Destiny do not have descriptions. This was done to give you creative freedom. We wanted people to feel like they could create what a spell looks and feels like when their character is casting it. Just because I learned to cast a Fire spell doesn't mean your Fire spell has to look the same as mine. A lot like drawing and writing, when we look at spells from an artistic stance, we can see that they, too, might vary.
So with creative freedom as our goal, please bear the following in mind:
Spells cannot be overpowered. It will always be up to the recipient RPer to decide if the attack lands, and how much damage their character takes.
Adversely, please keep yourself interesting to RP with; we would all take some hits on the battlefield.
Synthesized spells must still appear as a plausible portrayal of the combination of spells that made them. If I combined a Light spell with a Wind spell, my spell should not look like a stream of dark fire.
That's it. Have fun deciding the details!
[/PTab]

Item TypesAs a character journeys, they might discover different types of items. Here is a guide to what types of items are currently in World Destiny's system:
Normal itemsThese include materia, augments, charms and other items that may pop up for use in the shop. Most items will fit into the Normal category unless otherwise noted.
Novelty itemsNovelty Items will crop up around the site. They can take many forms: an item rarely available at the Shop, or perhaps a reward, perhaps just a random stroke of fate, depending. Novelty Items are there mostly for fun, and to give RPers unique items in their inventory with which to build their character stories with. Strong abilities and powers for Novelty Items are prohibited, but for instance if you receive a Music Box, and you want to make it haunted with whispers, that is completely okay.
Versatile itemsThese items are rewards to RPers for various things. They will crop up around the site for various activities. The RPer is free to think of what their versatile item does, but once they've come up with a use for it, and that use has been approved by the moderators, the item's idea is finalized.
Versatile Items currently owned:
Necho CatAbilities:
Triplet Spin (Rapid Spinning Attack),
F Minor (Fire),
and Healing Dance (Cure).
Duration:
This minion may use each ability to aid its summoner a total of once per thread.

[PTab= Quest Thread Info

]
Quest Thread InfoIn general, a quest-related Plot Thread encompasses events started by Staff members, in association with possible events involving World Destiny’s current plot. They tend to have finite beginnings and endings and will typically only be open for a limited amount of time. Active participation is vital to these threads, and if a member becomes too inactive he or she may be skipped to keep the rest of the story progressing. If they have begun a thread and then gotten busy with life a for a turn or two, even if they’re skipped they will still receive credit for the thread.
A turn skip should not be administered unless the member has failed to post for two weeks straight and has failed to give notification of why they will be able to post again.
ALL Plot Threads are required to have a Team Leader whose responsibility it is to post a thread synopsis to the Quest Thread (basically giving the Quest Giver feedback) upon successful completion. After the synopsis has been posted to the corresponding Plot Thread, the Moogles will divvy out the rewards.
Plot Thread Synopsis guide (edit as desired, as long as the key points are there for the Quest Giver):
Synopsis:
Goal 1: (Complete, Partial, Incomplete?)
Goal 2: (Complete, Partial, Incomplete?)
Thread Link:
ALL Quest Threads require participants to sign up in the Quest Giver’s Thread before entering an event.
Unless clearly specified, it will be up to the RPers signing up for quests to:
- Create the threads
- Complete the goals noted on the Quest Thread.
Types of Plot threads include:Open Threads:These threads will remain open to new participants for as long as the current quest or event is still in process.
Team Threads:These are threads in which a certain amount of team members are needed before the event may begin. The typical number will probably be between 3 and 7, though it will be up to the Staff to make a final decision on a thread-by-thread basis. We will simply make a judgement call as needed.

About the StaffName: Era™
History of Chosen Alias: An Axel Shrine I used to follow had listed the possibilities of Axel's real name (before it was known to be Lea). Since the Japanese would use an R instead of an L, the possibilities generated (remove the X, combine letter listings of A, R, E.) Era was on that list, and I thought the word sounded good as a name. So I decided my Kingdom Hearts OC would be Era.
I would list the shrine if I could find it.

Character Information
]
Character Information
Please keep the following notes in mind when playing a character on World Destiny:
1) Don't play someone else's character.
The only acceptable instance is if someone gives you express permission to do so. And this should only be done after a screenshotted image of the permission has been DM'ed to a Mod either on the forum or through Discord. We can keep track of an individual's IP address, so don't try to make accounts claiming to be someone else. We can see through that.
2) Incoming attack land/miss/damage are up to the recipient.
RPers cannot decide if an attack their character throws connects to the other character. The RPer sending an attack can say what attack the character throws and where they intend to hit, but whether it hits and how much damage the receiving character takes are factors that the receiving character's RPer has the liberty to detail.
3) Character death is unlikely but possible, depending.
You may rule your character to die if you so choose. Your character will generally NEVER be in a situation in which they will face death unless you intend them to die. However, if your character reaches a point where he/she is on death row and you don't want them to die, the mods will help you. Here are some things to consider:
Characters should think about their choices and battles, and what the turnout could look like.
In the extremely unlikely event your character is in peril you don't want them to be in, you may recruit other RPers to help save yours.
4) Power Levels are relative
Being a Role-Playing community, it is difficult to create an atmosphere in which achievement and gains can be attributed to a character as they learn and grow, and at the same time not making characters seem overpowered to newer ones in an RP environment.
Here on World Destiny, raw power is looked at as relatively the same, generally speaking.
Say I've been here two years, and the person I am RPing against has been here a month. If my character is fighting a character with Fire spells and the opposing character has Ice, they are not less powerful simply because I have been here longer than they have and have more stuff. RP battles should feel like just that - battles.
World Destiny will operate with the understanding that character strength is an invisible horizontal line, and everyone pretty much is equal. Yes, there are some wibbly-wobbly variables; not everyone should know Ice magic, or Fire magic, or Wind magic. And a character who's strong in one should naturally be weak in another.
No one should come in thinking they will be accepted as 'the character that's better than everyone else'. Everyone is relatively equal in regard to power here. We want members to focus on stretching their creativity and enjoying the scenes they build with each other.
Even if we start out with the same strength level, those strengths may be attributed in different ways. Maybe somebody is really good at casting Light based spells and someone else is good at Barrier spells.
What they do with that strength, and the activities a character is involved in, will determine their accomplishments in the end...
Accomplishments:
Accomplishments on World Destiny will render special items, spells or titles rather than brute strength or levels. These means are much easier to keep track of and to distribute without worrying about making some characters destroyers of worlds, while others can barely hold a candle to them.
How high up the accomplishment ladder you go depends on you - but it won't be because your character is 'stronger' or 'better' than anyone else.

[PTab= Being Types

]
Being Types
In the world of Kingdom Hearts, there are several states of being an individual may be, all of them revolving around the heart or emotions.
Somebody
A Somebody refers to a completed being, bearing both their hearts and their bodies. Most characters will be Somebodies.
Heartless
Heartless are a person's hearts. They're born from the darkness in peoples' hearts. When darkness consumes a person's heart, they become corrupted and turn into a Heartless. Lacking a body or a soul, these creatures behave primarily through instinct. They can travel between worlds via the corridors of darkness: unpredictable pathways running between between worlds.
Heartless are typically mindless themselves since they function on instinct. Lesser Heartless may be controlled by those with a strong will. However, the stronger the Heartless, the less controllable they become.
Originally, all Heartless were Pureblood Heartless: Heartless which were created by natural means. However, Ansem's and Xehanort's apprentices created a new type of Heartless: Emblem Heartless, by corrupting living hearts. Emblem Heartless can be differentiated from Pureblood Heartless by the heartless emblem typically displayed upon their bodies.
Upon normal defeat, the heart at the Heartless's core will return to the realm of darkness, where they will turn into Heartless once again. Only a Keyblade is capable of freeing the Heart within.
Nobody
Nobodies come into being at the same time as Heartless. Where a Heartless is a the manifestation of a person's emotions, Nobodies are the shells without hearts left behind. They are essentially gray areas of existence, locked somewhere between existence and non-existence.
Unversed
These are beings who are not well versed in their own existence. In Birth by Sleep, these creatures were manifestations of Vanitas' emotions. They feed on the negativity of others in order to gain more powerful forms.
Unavailable character being types:
Dream Eater
Dream Eaters made their debut in Dream Drop Distance. Similar to the Heartless, Dream Eaters are beings of darkness. They inhabit the Sleeping Worlds and are typically isolated from the Realms of Light. (Although they have been permitted as summons.)
There are two types of Dream Eaters: Nightmares and Spirits. Nightmares are hostile and devour good dreams to create bad ones. Spirits are the benevolent versions, and in Dream Drop Distance, they aid the player in battling the Nightmares.
Bug Blox
Encountered in the Datascape during Kingdom Hearts: Coded, Bug Blox are essentially software bugs. Because World Destiny takes place primarily in the Realms of Light.
[/PTab]
[PTab= Keyblades

]
Keyblades
Shaped like keys, Keyblades are able to do what ordinary weapons and magic cannot. They were created to combat the darkness. They can lock and unlock all manner of locking mechanisms.
Additionally, while regular weapons can defeat the Heartless, Heartless defeated by regular weapons return to the realm of darkness. Only a Keyblade can free a Heart from the Heartless form.
To wield a Keyblade here on World Destiny entails some level of responsibility. We would like to see characters progress, and that means there's a possibility for obtaining one along your character's journey if you do not wish to start with one right off the bat.
If you do decide to pick up a Keyblade, we ask that you be mindful of the responsibility of the Keyblade Wielder mantle. Wielders might be key to some big plot pieces and so we would ask that you be active in plot engagements.

Unicode Symbols also permitted, so you can copy and paste Bullets, or you can input the code manually from your keyboard.
Another cool thing: Profiles now have a random Dream Eater image accompanying them which is chosen based on a character's Alignment! Spirits for the Good aligned, Nightmares for the Baddies and Rares from both for Neutral.
The new Profile system will look a little different than the old way. Please give me feedback on what you'd like to see from it! This way doesn't have to be a permanent solution, but the fact it requires the User to know 0 code is something I love about it.
Does it look different? Absolutely. In fact it'll look different than just about any other site's RP Profiles. Here are the things you need to know.
To get there, go to the Heartbeat icon on the main menu:

It will look a little messy at first, but don't worry! As you fill out the fields, they will automatically update and fill in the empty spaces!
(Woo! Magic!)Next, you will go to the gear at the bottom of the page. This allows you to edit your profile:

All of the fields you'll want to fill out can be found under the
Personal link. (The bar containing the link fades for effect, so hover over the vicinity if you can't initially find it, and it should appear).

Quirks:
The boxes below the Email and Password shown below
(Proboards' Gender section, Location, Website Name, Website URL) are Proboards default, and are ignoring my code to hide them. Feel free to ignore them, as they will not appear anywhere once filled out:

The rest of the boxes should correspond to important character information. Please try to fill out the forms as well as you can. The general exception being
Abilities and
Weapon: a character does not have to have either if they do not want to. If you wish to omit either of these, please just mention it with a short '_Character Name_ doesn't use a weapon' or '_Character name_ doesn't use magic'.
NEW MEMBERS: Please make a thread
here saying something like 'please review me!' when you are ready to be reviewed, so that Staff can review your template and give you the Okay.
Once your character has been accepted, your character will be added to the Character Roster and they'll be assigned a new Member Group according to the character's Being Type.
Good luck and have fun! And feel free to ask any questions.

1) Does the Dice Roll apply to me?
The Dice only applies to those who choose to use the Thieves' Purse charm. It is located in the upper right section of the post screen. We use a player's Dice Roll to determine what sort of item your thievery lands you.
2) Can I have a Keyblade?
Keyblades, while we're more lenient on giving them out, should still be considered a position of extra responsibility. Because of this, we will not just hand them out to everyone. So please bear in mind when you create a character that we're looking for a cut above in quality, and more activity / event participation may be required of you. The best way to get your hands on a Keyblade is to craft a well-made profile, and show yourself active.
