In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.
Community Rules Every site has guidelines for its members to follow to ensure the community functions in an orderly and polite fashion. World Destiny has a small cluster of Community Rules and they are as follows:
1) Respect each other We RPers come from varying backgrounds, and therefore it is inevitable that we will eventually not see eye-to-eye on certain things. World Destiny does not tolerate descrimination. This rule covers: • Racism • Sexism • Political views • Religious hatred • Personal flaming
Additionally, please refrain from political discussion as much as possible. The world is pretty divided right now, and in an attitude of respecting everyone, we would like to keep the peace here.
2) In the event of offense, de-escalate In case someone rubs you the wrong way, please don't fight on the forums. Please try not to be offensive, but equally try not to take undue offense. In doing so, we can ensure a more peaceable coexistance.
3) Don't spam Please refrain from spamming. This rule includes: • Posting pointless in-character replies just to up your count, • Posting meaningless in-character replies/topics.
4) No 18+ or Illegal Links/Images will be tolerated. The rules are lax, but we do not want to see any adult images or links to adult sites on here. If you want to tell people about something funny you found that toes the edge, then link to it and make it clear in your post that it is not work/family safe or could be explicit.
5) Cursing and Violence levels About cursing Out of Character (OOC), don't curse at one another. If you're saying something about a particular topic, or it's just part of your speech, that's fine, but no direct attacks. You may speak however you like, as long as you aren't directing curses at each other.
It's okay for characters to swear and curse at each other, but make sure it stays in-character, and please keep it limited. Kingdom Hearts is a franchise that's safe for children. Characters who curse like sailors might be a little too strong for the franchise.
6) Warning Policy and Procedure In the highly unlikely event unscrupulous individuals should make trouble within our community, World Destiny will operate on a warnings policy. If rules are broken the individual will get a warning from a staff member through Private Message explaining the reason for the warning. If the individual desires, they can appeal via PM to the staff member who issued the warning. Typically the staff is lenient and don't often issue a warning. We also will not be monitoring every small move you make. The warnings guideline is just here in case it's needed. We ask to receive is a clear and polite communication, and we will do our best to provide the same.
If an individual gets 3 warnings, the individual is banned for a week. After the week ban, they will be given another chance to play.
[/PTab] [PTab= Activity ]
Activity Kingdom Hearts: World Destiny has several members who have to work to pay the bills, so we are welcoming of those who cannot post every day. This community is inviting to all.
That said, we also would like to keep a certain level of activity. We request a minimum of one post every two weeks.
Activity checks will happen Bi-monthly: they will be in the form of announcements here and on Discord. This way they will be hard to miss. If you are worried about missing one due to real life circumstances, please make use of our Departures board, or contact a Staff member directly through PM or Discord. Letting us know ensures that we can mark you as present in case an activity check happens.
Miss an activity check? Don't worry! We will not delete your account. Your account will simply be marked Inactive. If you are currently RPing as a Canon character, that character may become available for other RPers.
If your account is marked Inactive, just speak with a Staff Member to return your account to Active status.
[/PTab] [PTab= Munny Shop ]
Munny Shop The Munny Shop here was implemented in the spirit of enjoyment and fun for all. Items do not outrightly improve your character's abilities against another player. There isn't a 'leveling up' system in place on World Destiny. Instead, we want to encourage a character to develop creatively and organically, with spells and abilities that are uniquely them. And maybe an odd item thrown into their inventory for fun now and then. (Most of which are tradeable.)
There are a handful of types of items currently available on the site, most of which are available through the Shop. The Shop Item Types are as follows:
Healing Currently there are only two Healing type items in our database: Potion and Ether. They are mostly for story purposes, as there is currently no way to implement them in a forum setting.
Augments These can be affixed to a character's weapon in order to coat that weapon in an element. It is a permanent application. (Augments cannot be stacked.)
Basic Materia Materia refers to magical abilities. This form of materia is a pure element. Hybrid spells cannot be cast using the available materia. Basic Materia can be combined in order to create new spells.
Member-Created Materia Sometimes the Staff will host an event allowing players to create their own Materia. Member-Created Materia is available to all, and may be purchased by any character for use. Member-Created Materia is not currently combineable. These are: Cog Materia, Null Materia, Familiar Materia and Rainbow Materia.
Charms Charms can be attached to armor or placed in pockets and inventory, and allow the user an additional RP dynamic. Only one may be actively employed in a thread, although a character may have as many as they'd like in their inventory.
[/PTab] [PTab= Spell Synthesis ]
Spell Synthesis On World Destiny, we wanted to implement a synthesis system that was fun for the users.
Basic Elemental Materia may be synthesized by Dueler X at the Materia Synthesizer 9000 in order to create new spells. Currently only two pure Materia may be synthesized. Pure Materia covers any Materia available from the Shop with the exception of Member-Created Materia. Member-Created Materia currently cannot be synthesized.
In the synthesizing process, order matters. Make sure to specify the order you plan to create your spell with. Synthesizing Ice + Thunder would give you a different result than synthesizing Thunder + Ice.
What do I do with my spell/item when it doesn't have a description? Synthesized spells and some select other items on World Destiny do not have descriptions. This was done to give you creative freedom. We wanted people to feel like they could create what a spell looks and feels like when their character is casting it. Just because I learned to cast a Fire spell doesn't mean your Fire spell has to look the same as mine. A lot like drawing and writing, when we look at spells from an artistic stance, we can see that they, too, might vary.
So with creative freedom as our goal, please bear the following in mind:
Spells cannot be overpowered. It will always be up to the recipient RPer to decide if the attack lands, and how much damage their character takes.
Adversely, please keep yourself interesting to RP with; we would all take some hits on the battlefield.
Synthesized spells must still appear as a plausible portrayal of the combination of spells that made them. If I combined a Light spell with a Wind spell, my spell should not look like a stream of dark fire.
That's it. Have fun deciding the details!
[/PTab] [PTab= Item Types ]
Item Types As a character journeys, they might discover different types of items. Here is a guide to what types of items are currently in World Destiny's system:
Normal items These include materia, augments, charms and other items that may pop up for use in the shop. Most items will fit into the Normal category unless otherwise noted.
Novelty items Novelty Items will crop up around the site. They can take many forms: an item rarely available at the Shop, or perhaps a reward, perhaps just a random stroke of fate, depending. Novelty Items are there mostly for fun, and to give RPers unique items in their inventory with which to build their character stories with. Strong abilities and powers for Novelty Items are prohibited, but for instance if you receive a Music Box, and you want to make it haunted with whispers, that is completely okay.
Versatile items These items are rewards to RPers for various things. They will crop up around the site for various activities. The RPer is free to think of what their versatile item does, but once they've come up with a use for it, and that use has been approved by the moderators, the item's idea is finalized.
Duration: This minion may use each ability to aid its summoner a total of once per thread.
[/PTab] [PTab=Character Information ]
Character Information Please keep the following notes in mind when playing a character on World Destiny:
1) Don't play someone else's character. The only acceptable instance is if someone gives you express permission to do so. And this should only be done after a screenshotted image of the permission has been DM'ed to a Mod either on the forum or through Discord. We can keep track of an individual's IP address, so don't try to make accounts claiming to be someone else. We can see through that.
2) Incoming attack land/miss/damage are up to the recipient. RPers cannot decide if an attack their character throws connects to the other character. The RPer sending an attack can say what attack the character throws and where they intend to hit, but whether it hits and how much damage the receiving character takes are factors that the receiving character's RPer has the liberty to detail.
3) Character death is unlikely but possible, depending. You may rule your character to die if you so choose. Your character will generally NEVER be in a situation in which they will face death unless you intend them to die. However, if your character reaches a point where he/she is on death row and you don't want them to die, the mods will help you. Here are some things to consider: Characters should think about their choices and battles, and what the turnout could look like. In the extremely unlikely event your character is in peril you don't want them to be in, you may recruit other RPers to help save yours.
4) Power Levels are relative Being a Role-Playing community, it is difficult to create an atmosphere in which achievement and gains can be attributed to a character as they learn and grow, and at the same time not making characters seem overpowered to newer ones in an RP environment.
Here on World Destiny, raw power is looked at as relatively the same, generally speaking. Say I've been here two years, and the person I am RPing against has been here a month. If my character is fighting a character with Fire spells and the opposing character has Ice, they are not less powerful simply because I have been here longer than they have and have more stuff. RP battles should feel like just that - battles.
World Destiny will operate with the understanding that character strength is an invisible horizontal line, and everyone pretty much is equal. Yes, there are some wibbly-wobbly variables; not everyone should know Ice magic, or Fire magic, or Wind magic. And a character who's strong in one should naturally be weak in another.
No one should come in thinking they will be accepted as 'the character that's better than everyone else'. Everyone is relatively equal in regard to power here. We want members to focus on stretching their creativity and enjoying the scenes they build with each other.
Even if we start out with the same strength level, those strengths may be attributed in different ways. Maybe somebody is really good at casting Light based spells and someone else is good at Barrier spells.
What they do with that strength, and the activities a character is involved in, will determine their accomplishments in the end...
Accomplishments: Accomplishments on World Destiny will render special items, spells or titles rather than brute strength or levels. These means are much easier to keep track of and to distribute without worrying about making some characters destroyers of worlds, while others can barely hold a candle to them.
How high up the accomplishment ladder you go depends on you - but it won't be because your character is 'stronger' or 'better' than anyone else.
[/PTab] [PTab= Being Types ]
Being Types In the world of Kingdom Hearts, there are several states of being an individual may be, all of them revolving around the heart or emotions.
Somebody A Somebody refers to a completed being, bearing both their hearts and their bodies. Most characters will be Somebodies.
Heartless Heartless are a person's hearts. They're born from the darkness in peoples' hearts. When darkness consumes a person's heart, they become corrupted and turn into a Heartless. Lacking a body or a soul, these creatures behave primarily through instinct. They can travel between worlds via the corridors of darkness: unpredictable pathways running between between worlds.
Heartless are typically mindless themselves since they function on instinct. Lesser Heartless may be controlled by those with a strong will. However, the stronger the Heartless, the less controllable they become.
Originally, all Heartless were Pureblood Heartless: Heartless which were created by natural means. However, Ansem's and Xehanort's apprentices created a new type of Heartless: Emblem Heartless, by corrupting living hearts. Emblem Heartless can be differentiated from Pureblood Heartless by the heartless emblem typically displayed upon their bodies.
Upon normal defeat, the heart at the Heartless's core will return to the realm of darkness, where they will turn into Heartless once again. Only a Keyblade is capable of freeing the Heart within.
Nobody Nobodies come into being at the same time as Heartless. Where a Heartless is a the manifestation of a person's emotions, Nobodies are the shells without hearts left behind. They are essentially gray areas of existence, locked somewhere between existence and non-existence.
Unversed These are beings who are not well versed in their own existence. In Birth by Sleep, these creatures were manifestations of Vanitas' emotions. They feed on the negativity of others in order to gain more powerful forms.
Unavailable character being types: Dream Eater Dream Eaters made their debut in Dream Drop Distance. Similar to the Heartless, Dream Eaters are beings of darkness. They inhabit the Sleeping Worlds and are typically isolated from the Realms of Light. (Although they have been permitted as summons.)
There are two types of Dream Eaters: Nightmares and Spirits. Nightmares are hostile and devour good dreams to create bad ones. Spirits are the benevolent versions, and in Dream Drop Distance, they aid the player in battling the Nightmares.
Bug Blox Encountered in the Datascape during Kingdom Hearts: Coded, Bug Blox are essentially software bugs. Because World Destiny takes place primarily in the Realms of Light.
[/PTab] [PTab= Keyblades ]
Keyblades Shaped like keys, Keyblades are able to do what ordinary weapons and magic cannot. They were created to combat the darkness. They can lock and unlock all manner of locking mechanisms.
Additionally, while regular weapons can defeat the Heartless, Heartless defeated by regular weapons return to the realm of darkness. Only a Keyblade can free a Heart from the Heartless form.
To wield a Keyblade here on World Destiny entails some level of responsibility. We would like to see characters progress, and that means there's a possibility for obtaining one along your character's journey if you do not wish to start with one right off the bat.
If you do decide to pick up a Keyblade, we ask that you be mindful of the responsibility of the Keyblade Wielder mantle. Wielders might be key to some big plot pieces and so we would ask that you be active in plot engagements.

[/PTab] [PTab= Character Template ]
Character Template Welcome to the amazing new Application Process! It requires absolutely 0 coding knowledge from the User's standpoint. Better yet, the code at work in the background automatically adds sections to the User Profile after the fields have been saved by the User.
This system comes with a few limitations for those of you who like to use BBCode. Simple code will work. You can still make things Bold, Italic, and Underlined, as well as a few other things. However, the User Profile section of the site will not allow the following: Span, Spoiler, Color, Center/Right/Left.
It will allow you to paste icons from places like GetEmoji.com. Just copy and paste Emojis! Various Unicode Symbols also permitted, so you can copy and paste Bullets, or you can input the code manually from your keyboard.
Another cool thing: Profiles now have a random Dream Eater image accompanying them which is chosen based on a character's Alignment! Spirits for the Good aligned, Nightmares for the Baddies and Rares from both for Neutral.
The new Profile system will look a little different than the old way. Please give me feedback on what you'd like to see from it! This way doesn't have to be a permanent solution, but the fact it requires the User to know 0 code is something I love about it.
Does it look different? Absolutely. In fact it'll look different than just about any other site's RP Profiles. Here are the things you need to know.
To get there, go to the Heartbeat icon on the main menu:
It will look a little messy at first, but don't worry! As you fill out the fields, they will automatically update and fill in the empty spaces! (Woo! Magic!)
Next, you will go to the gear at the bottom of the page. This allows you to edit your profile:
All of the fields you'll want to fill out can be found under the Personal link. (The bar containing the link fades for effect, so hover over the vicinity if you can't initially find it, and it should appear).
The boxes below the Email and Password shown below (Proboards' Gender section, Location, Website Name, Website URL) are Proboards default, and are ignoring my code to hide them. Feel free to ignore them, as they will not appear anywhere once filled out:
The rest of the boxes should correspond to important character information. Please try to fill out the forms as well as you can. The general exception being Abilities and Weapon: a character does not have to have either if they do not want to. If you wish to omit either of these, please just mention it with a short '_Character Name_ doesn't use a weapon' or '_Character name_ doesn't use magic'.
NEW MEMBERS: Please make a thread here saying something like 'please review me!' when you are ready to be reviewed, so that Staff can review your template and give you the Okay.
Once your character has been accepted, your character will be added to the Character Roster and they'll be assigned a new Member Group according to the character's Being Type.
Good luck and have fun! And feel free to ask any questions.
[/PTab] [PTab=Lore & Timeline ]
Lore & Timeline Kingdom Hearts has a very complex storyline to delve into! It's amazing, but it can get confusing, so the following sections have been created to ease the frustration and give a synopsis of the important things that happened during each part of the story.
[/PTab] [PTab= KHUX ]
Kingdom Hearts: X The story starts in Daybreak Town in the distant past. It's a precursor to the legendary Keyblade War: a conflict between Keyblade Wielders over the Light that created the world. The ensuing catastrophe reshaped the plane upon which the rest of Kingdom Hearts takes place.
It began with the Master of Masters, who bestowed his six apprentices (known as the Foretellers), with a Book of Prophecies. After leaving this legacy, the Master of Masters disappeared. The book he left behind was very powerful. It had the ability to manifest people and objects from the future, and contained an account of future events from which the five Foretellers learn of a prophecy foretelling the world's destruction.
In an effort to prevent the cataclysm, the Foretellers used their books to manifest future worlds and defeat the Heartless infesting them and to gather pieces of light, called Lux. Each Foreteller created and led their own Union, themed around the animal each Foreteller represents: The Unicorns were govered by Ira, The Anguis (King Cobras) were govered by Invi, The Leopardus were goverend by Gula, The Vulpes were governed by Ava, The Ursus were governed Aced.
The player character is a newly awakened Keyblade Wielder who chooses to support one of the aforementioned factions. At some point in this story, Chirithy explains to the player character that the Foretellers have learned about a great battle in which the world is consumed by darkness. To save the future, the Foretellers use their book's powers to project the future into their era and hoarded Lux to protect the world's light.
Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X Kingdom Hearts Unchained X takes place in an alternate world timeline. The player character is reliving the past to forget the events of the Keyblade War. Many of the events in this game repeat events from the previous, with a divergence in the narrative partway through.
The player forms a team with four other Keyblade Wielders, who become friends. The player also befriends a character named Ephemer, who disappears shortly after befriending. Investigating Ephemer's disappearance, the player meets and battles Ava, leader of the Vulpes. In an effort to circumvent a calamitous future, Ava recruits people into a group called the Dandelions: a group of Keyblade Wielders who would be sent into another worldline, to keep them out of the impending war, so that they may rebuild the world in its aftermath. Ava explains that Ephemer is one of these chosen.
As time passes, wielders begin accusing one another of stealing Lux, and the Foretellers - suspecting one of themselves to be a traitor - rally more and more wielders into their Unions to bolster their forces for the coming war.
Ava tracks down Luxu, the Master of Masters' sixth apprentice, believing him to be the traitor stealing Lux. She attacks him, thus beginning the war, as prophesied.
The player character participates in the war alone, battling for as long as they can before collapsing from exhaustion. They emerge from the war as its sole survivor, unaware of how the war ended. Chirithy lies to them, saying that the memories your character have must have been a dream.
Meanwhile, Maleficent appears nearby, unbeknownst to them. (She traveled back in time after being defeated by Sora and his friends, and she makes plans to conquer her world from the past).
[/PTab] [PTab= Union + Darkroad ]
Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X | Union X In a series of flashbacks the player learns that Ava was given instructions from the Master of Masters about which five wielders were to succeed the previous Union leaders. Per his instructions she gives each of the chosen wielders a special rulebook to follow. However she defies the Master of Master's orders when she gives one of them a Book of Prophecies.
The player is secretly stalked by one of the new Union leaders, known as Strelitzia, who is fascinated with them. As the war starts, she realizes the player is not a Dandelion and tries to find them to convince them to join, but she is ambushed and killed before she gets the chance to ask.
After the war, the Dandelions reside in the datascape of Daybreak Town and all the Union leaders were made to forget what had happened. In the real world, Ephemer meets with an old friend (Skuld) in the Keyblade Graveyard, revealing that they are two of the new Union leaders Ava has chosen. Here, they are met by three others: Ventus, Brain and Strelitzia's older brother, Lauriam. The five agree to keep the world's destruction a secret and form a single Union, Union Cross, to prevent the past from repeating.
Meanwhile, Maleficent encounters a mysterious figure called Darkness who explains to Maleficent that she is only a data simulation. Darkness refuses to let her stay due to the damage her knowledge of the future could cause. Darkness guids her to the tower in Daybreak Town and tells her to use the Ark at its center to return to the real world, and to her time.
Meanwhile, with the aid of his fellow party member Elrena, Lauriam investigates Strelitzia's disappearance. They confront Maleficent in the tower, but Maleficent defeats Lauriam and escapes, damaging the Ark in the fight.
Unconscious, Lauriam expereinces a dream in which he sees Strelitzia in a meadow. She disappears, only to appear again in a white robe and hood.
Maleficent, now in the real world, is instructed by Darkness to use another pod to return to the future.
Glitchy images of events that happened before the Keyblade War begin appearing in Daybreak Town and with the player's help, Brain discovers the glitches are an effect of the datascape being forcibly connected to a data world that was never connected to the original Daybreak Town, and that they are all now trapped in the datascape.
Brain turned to the Book of Prophecies for a solution and finds the Master's list, discovering that Ventus is the one responsible for Strelitzia's demise, because he was manipulated by the Darkness (who was disguised as Ava).
Lauriam returns to the tower, getting into a fight with the others whe he incorrectly assumed they had something to do with Strelitzia's death. It only spirals downhill when Ventus reveals he was the one who killed Strelitzia, and Darkness emerges from him and reveals itself to the others.
Kingdom Hearts Dark Road We first see Xehanort as an inhabitant of Destiny Islands who is bored with his daily existence. He is approached by Ansem, his Heartless from the future and is shuffled through a portal to Scala Ad Caelum: a world where Keyblade Wielders are trained.
After becoming a Keyblade Wielder, Xehanort and his classmates are tasked by their master Odin to find seven of their missing upperclassmen who have gone missing before their Mark of Mastery exam. Before they leave, Xehanort and his classmates discuss the state of the worlds. So long after the events of the Keyblade War, many fragments of the world are still forming and those that have already formed flow on different timeframes - while one may be far in the future in terms of technology, another may still be in the beginnings of bearing life, or have only basic technological advancements.
Ordered not to interfere with the affairs of other worlds, Xehanort and his friends begin their search and as they travel worlds, Xehanort and Eraqus both begin to thing that the upperclassment were consumed by darkness.
We glimpse a bit more story in the form of a flashback that takes place a week before the story in which Eqaqus is engaged in a conversation with Baldr (one of their classsmates), who is concerned about his sister.
Flash forward for years and Xehanort, having just put fresh flowers on four gravestones, says his goodbyes to Eraqus. He says he's going off on his own so that he can see what the master hasn't shown them.
Eraqus hates the idea but decides not to stop him, knowing that he'll be back, since they need to settle the score for their games.
Some time later, Xehanort finds himself traveling through the Corridor of Darkness where the darknes begins to infect his heart.
[/PTab] [PTab= Birth By Sleep ]
Terra, Aqua and Ventus begin the story of Birth by Sleep in Land of Departure: where they are training to beycome Keyblade Masters under Master Eraqus. In order to achieve the rank of Keyblade Master, they would have to complete a Mark of Mastery exam upon coming of age. Terra and Aqua take the test together, but Master Xehanort sabotages the exam in its first round. In the second round, Terra and Aqua fight each other. Terra is deemed unfit to become a Keyblade Master due to the amount of darkness in his heart, but Aqua passes the test.
Some time afterward, a mysterious group of creatures known as the Unversed begin to appear elsewhere, in other worlds. Master Xehanort disappears without a trace. Terra is sent to destroy the Unversed and find Master Xehanort. It was Master Xehanort who encouraged him to embrace the darkness in his heart if he desired the strength to become a Keyblade Master.
Meanwhile, Ventus is coerced by Xehanort's mysterious apprentice, Vanitas, into following Terra (against Master Eraqus's wishes).
Eraqus then charged Aqua with watching Terra and keep him from falling into darkness, and bringing Ventus back to the Land of Departure.
The story is then divided between Aqua, Ventus and Terra, where they traverse other worlds and meet all manor of Disney characters along the way. An apprentice of Yen Sid, Mickey Mouse is one of the characters who meets the trio; he is also on a mission to destroy the Unversed.
Many Disney Villains seek to influence Terra, and offer him the whereabouts of Master Xehanort in exchange for his assistance for their own agendas.
Terra deduces that Xehanort is after the Seven Princesses of Heart (maidens who lack darkness in their hearts), and encourages Aqua to help them strengthen the light in their hearts, hoping to draw out Master Xehanort.
Concern grows within Aqua and Ventus when they hear rumors of Terra committing sinister deeds throughout the worlds. The trio reunites briefly in Radient Garden. It is at this time that Aqua meets Kairi. At this point, Kairi is a young girl who contains a strong, pure light in her heart, and Aqua helps to strengthen her light. Aqua and Ven also confront Terra, and Terra distances himself from them to keep them out of the way of his increasingly dangerous powers. Aqua and Terra try to convince Ventus to return to the Land of Departure, but he refuses, uncertain that Terra won't fall into darkness.
Terra and Aqua find themselves on Destiny Islands, where they encounter two young boys, Sora and Riku. Terra sees the potential within Riku, deeming him worthy of wielding a keyblade one day. Aqua, meanwhile, senses a strong connection between Sora and Riku, and Ven and Terra (respectively).
Elsewhere, Ventus and Master Xehanort cross paths. Xehanort reveals his plan to use Ven's heart to create the final Keyblade, the X-Blade, something Master Xehanort states that Master Eraqus knew all along. Venturs returns to the Land of Departure to confront Eraqus, but Eraqus tries to erase Ventus to prevent Master Xehanort's plan from succeeding.
Terra, who had been sent in by Master Xehanort, misinterprets the situation, attacking Eraqus and teleporting Ven to safety.
As soon as Terra realizes his error, MAster Xehanort arrives and kills Eraqus, telling Terra to go to the Keyblade Graveyard. In doing so, he unwittlingly leaves the Land of Departure to be consumed by darkness.
Back at Destiny Islands, Ventus once again encounters Vanitas and learns of his past. Ventus discovers that he was once Master Xehanort's apprentice but his heart was deemed too fragile for Master Xehanort to use. So instead, he extracted the darkness in Ven's heart and used it to create Vanitas. Ventus is then instructed by Vanitas to go to the Keyblade Graveyard.
Aqua learns of Eraqus's death from Yen Sid, who tells her to go to the Keyblade Graveyard as well.
The three friends gather at the Keyblade Graveyard: a vast landscape littered with debris from the mysterious Keyblade War. Master Xehanort appears with Vanitas, revealing his plan to use the X-Blade to unlock Kingdom Hearts and unleash the secrets of the Keyblade War into the various worlds, as well as to use Terra's body as the new vessel for his heart so that he may survive long enough to see his plans unfold.
A tough battle unfolds. In it, Xehanort freezes Ven and Vanitas knocks Aqua unconscious. In a fit of rage, Terra unleashes the darkness in his heart, inadvertently allowing Xehanort to unlock his own heart and successfully transfer it into Terra's body, effectively rebirthing Xehanort as a younger version of himself.
Terra's mind continues to linger in his discarded suit of armor, which comes to life to defeat Xehanort. Meanwhile, Ventus manages to thaw himself in time to prevent Vanitas from killing Aqua, and he discovers his dark counterpart to be the source of all Unversed.
Vanitas merges with Ven, possessing him and creating the X-Blade. Mickey awakens Aqua and the two fight Ventus's possessed form while Ventus battles Vanitas from within.
Aqua is able to shatter the X-Blade as Ventus destroys Vanitas, effectively defeating the Unversed. However, Ventus's heart gets lost in the process.
As the X-Blade is destroyed it releases a flood of light which consumes everyone present and scatters them to the corridors of space. Terra's lingering Will remains in the Keyblade Graveyard.
Mickey saves Aqua and Ventus, bringing them to the Mysterious Tower. It is here that Aqua learns Ventus has fallen into a deep sleep and will not awaken until his heart returns. Aqua brings Ventus back to the ruins of the Land of Departure, where she finds Master Eraqus's Keyblade, which she uses to unlock the Chamber of Waking. Aqua also creates Castle Oblivion from the ruins.
After leaving Ventus within the ruins, Aqua heads to Radiant Garden where she encounters Master Xehanort (who is still in Terra's body). Aqua battles Xehanort. After fighting, Xehanort attempts to unlock his heart, losing his memories completely in the process.
Not long after that, Terra's body begins to sink into the Darkness, but Aqua dives into the darkness and keeps Terra from disappearing. Realizing she won't be able to get through the portal in time, Aqua sacrifices herself by discarding her armor and using it to guide her glider, with Terra-Xehanort in tow, back throungh the portal, leaving herself behind and lost in the Realm of Darkness.
After this, Xehanort is discovered by the ruler of Radiant Garden, Ansem the Wise, and goes about becoming his apprentice. Ventus's wandering heart finds its way to young Sora, merging with his heart.
A secret ending shows the hearts of Master Xehanort and Terra lying dormant in Xehanort's body, wiating to see which will wind up in control. Eraqus's heart is revealed to be sealed within Terra's. The viewer also sees a recovered Xehanort walking along with Braig, as Ansem the Wise and Ienzo pass them.
Some time after the end of Kingdom Hearts 2, Aqua encounters Ansem the Wise in the Dark Margin. Ansem had survived the explosion of his Kingdom Hearts Encoder with only a few remaining memories. He reveals to Aqua that while darkness threatens to swallow the worlds again, hope lies in the form of Sora, who is getting ready to set out on his journey to help the hearts connected to his.
[/PTab] [PTab= Kingdom Hearts 1 ]
Beginning with Sora's Dive into the Heart, Kingdom Hearts 1 soon opens up with Sora awakening on Destiny Islands with his two best friends: Riku and Kairi. They begin building a raft with the intention of sailing away from Destiny Islands and exploring new worlds.
One night, Destiny Islands is attacked by darkness and shadowy creatures known as Heartless. Sora seeks out his friends, finding Riku, who disappears into the darkness. Just after seeing Riku vanish, Sora gains a Keyblade, which he uses to defend himself and fight off the dark creatures. Next, he heads for their secret cave, where he discovers Kairi. She seems to be in a trance and mutters his name before the door behind her blows open. The sudden rush of darkness pushes both him and Kairi out of the cave.
At this moment, the Destiny Islands are destroyed and Sora is set adrift, not knowing the whereabouts of his two best friends.
Meanwhile it is learned that King Mickey recently left his world to deal with the increasing darkness, and he's left instructions for Donald the Mage and Goofy the Knight to find the "key". Using a Gummy Ship, Donald and Goofy travel to Traverse Town, where it just so happens that Sora has turned up.
Sora encounters the shadow creatures again in Traverse Tow and meets Leon: a swordsman who explains that the creatures Sora has been fighting are known as Heartless. Leon also tells Sora that the Keyblade is the only weapon that can defeat them. The ruler of Leon's home world, Ansem, is said to have studied Heartless.
Donald and Goofy are discovered by Leon's ally, Aerith, who tells them what they may be looking for. Shortly after, Sora meets Donald and Goofy. The three work together to defeat a large Heartless, and then decide to travel together: Donald and Goofy have the goal of finding Mickey, and Sora's intent is to find Riku and Kairi.
Thier journey takes them through many Disney based worlds, and along the way they discover that Keyblades can also lock Keyholes: passages that Heartless use to destroy the hearts of worlds.
At this time, a group of villains led by Malificent search for the seven Princess of Heart to unlock the Keyhold that leads to Kingdom Hearts: a repository of knowledge and power, and the source of all hearts. The viewer discovers that among Malificent's ranks is Riku, because she promised to help Riku find Kairi. At the same time, Malificent tells Riku that Sora has abandoned him and Kairi for new friends, sowing mistrust within Riku.
It is Riku who finds Kairi's body, but by the time he does, her heart is missing.
Sora, Donald and Goofy arrive at Hollow Bastion. Riku takes the Keyblade from Sora, claiming that fate intended for him to wield it.

“Light thinks it travels faster than anything, but it’s wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always gotten there first, and is waiting for it.” —Terry Pratchett
In the first of his greatest victories, Sora had successfully locked the keyholes of many of the worlds, preventing the Darkness from seeping into them.
But the Darkness would yet linger, and later Sora and Riku would together vanquish Xemnas and his false Kingdom Hearts. The victory that was had in The World That Never Was reverberated a feeling of peace across the worlds. The universe was cast into a peaceful state and there it would rest, bathed in the halcyon of a lasting sunset.
The people lived without the fear of interference by the Heartless. Yet in the deepest shadows, where Light dared not to gander, the Darkness would silently take shape. As serene as life had become, it would not last… for all good things must come to an end.
Corruption would break free, renewed after years of sleeping, and the citizens of the worlds began responding to the Darkness taking shape in their own hearts. Succumbing to their virulent desires, the peace that once reined would slowly begin to fade. The Black Reach that was plaguing the worlds would stretch further, further, rapidly growing in strength and influence until the Darkness had once again gained the power to consume worlds.
Catalyzed by Organization Thirteen, Destiny Islands was among the first of the worlds to fall. One by one other worlds flickered out, the destruction only feeding the greed of the unquenchable, hungering Darkness. Despite the attempts to rally the Forces of Light to stop it, the Darkness has left its toll upon the worlds that remain: The battered worlds lucky enough to endure were reduced to ruin; only weak illustrations of their former glory.
Twilight Town: the last sanctum left in this part of the galaxy, is now the world of refuge. What souls still linger begin (or continue) their journeys here.
The beautiful, warm world once known for its stunning sunsets has been sundered. The train station lies collapsed and useless. Sunset Terrace is inaccessible due to the wreckage, even the Mysterious Tower of Yen Sid has vanished from the world. Worse yet, the ever-setting sun has fallen from the sky. In its place a broken moon hangs barely above the horizon, its fragments still reflecting light back upon the eerie world below. The world has been blanketed in a soft blue dusk, its buildings ever bathed in purple.
Many have forsaken their faith in the Light; for how could any good possibly hope to surmount the evils that have taken hold?
The entire empty expanse of space, peppered only by fragments and debris where once there were worlds, is consumed by an unending dusk. The atmosphere hangs heavy with the weight of the Night to come.
The worlds are unravelling. It is up to the few Denizens of Light left in them to band together and find a way to once again rebuild the broken worlds. Yet against such an onslaught of Darkness, does the Light still stand a chance?

Progression From the point of the Premise to the end, the sections below this intend to detail the Plot Progression made on World Destiny.
[PTab= Chapter 1 ]
Chapter 1 - The Nightfall After the universe was plunged into shadow, survivors of the catastrophe found themselves transported to Twilight Town: a world once warm and ever-evening; but instead of the familiar picture, the calamity of darkness had transformed the scenery: the world was in shambles, parts of it inaccessible, and the once constant sunset had been replaced by a haunting, fractured moon. The dark canopy of early night sky would hang, ever empty, over the shattered sanctuary below.
The beginning of The Nightfall was messy: Heartless around every corner - the Darkness for a moment, stilled, ever looming, threatening at any moment to distrupt the quiet in a single leap foward and swallow the last of the Light.
However, the survivors, ever resourceful, found the courage to stand up against the looming presence darkness, and several factions cropped up:
The Moogles were the main source of unity, bringing survivors together, organizing a plan and really being the elsewise magical glue that held the tiny sanctuary together.
The Eleventh Hour also came about, formed in the shadows of the apocalypse; little is known about them, but word has gotten out that the group is led by a mysterious and charismatic Aegyl named Kalos. It was with his help that the Moogles were able to create a trinket that strengthened the survivors; the Moogles encouraged each denizen of light to use their Osmosis Amulets to empower their emotions, and to lean into that power in battle.
As the survivors scrambled to keep the last sparks of Light alive, another threat made itself known: an enormous black dragon injured one of their own, putting pressure on the Denizens of Light, who relocated the Sanctuary from the open streets, to the safety of the Underground.
The Moogles had two pressing issues to sort out that would, hopefully, allow the good to prosper: the closing of Twilight Town's Keyhole, and the retrieval of another powerful player, Ventus, from Castle Oblivion. The Survivors' numbers were divided, their tasks set before them.
Those sent to Castle Oblivion encountered Young Xehanort, who gave Aqua and the others a run for their money. Many were sent away by Aqua as she struggled against Xehanort. No one has seen Aqua since.
Meanwhile, the reverberations of actions by Lea and Xion had caused several worlds to begin to awaken. And just in time, too. Because just as the Light reacted by wakening the worlds, the Darkness responded by restricting its hold.
Twilight Town has, for now, been cut off, with barely enough time for its inhabitants to expel from it.

Chapter 2 - A Light in the Darkness Just in time, a Keyblade Wielder from another world surfaces in Twilight Town just as a massive tremor rocks the world. She offers the Survivors a way off the world. The Denizens of Light find themselves in a new world: San Fransokyo. There is much more activity here than on Twilght Town, and the world itself is in better shape, but the Nightfall caused a lot of damage, and no world is completely unscathed by it.
There is still much to do, but weary from the trip, many of the Denizens of Light must rest to regain their strength.
The Moogles, setting up a new home base in an empty building in the bustling city, are already drawing up new plans for the best course of action: they look forward to discussing some of these ideas with you once you've rested.
1) Does the Dice Roll apply to me? The Dice only applies to those who choose to use the Thieves' Purse charm. It is located in the upper right section of the post screen. We use a player's Dice Roll to determine what sort of item your thievery lands you.
2) Can I have a Keyblade? Keyblades, while we're more lenient on giving them out, should still be considered a position of extra responsibility. Because of this, we will not just hand them out to everyone. So please bear in mind when you create a character that we're looking for a cut above in quality, and more activity / event participation may be required of you. The best way to get your hands on a Keyblade is to craft a well-made profile, and show yourself active.
