In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

...love would all save us.
Why this of all things?
Ever since she roamed out towards the cliff, The Dark Depths, beyond the maw, Kairi wasn't too comfortable strolling without a guide; she'd purposely awaken the Islander sphere to give her some company, and Comet made sure he out shined the others before she channeled one of the spirits out.
In the Ravine Trails, its luminous eyes just watched her unleash herself at every heartless that came her way. Luckily they were only Armored Knights giving her little trouble to be overwhelmed, but there was an overall concern for her. Normally her behavior towards the heartless were sympathetic and only turned her keyblade towards them to give relief; now she was releasing her frustration to her own hesitation of leaving the safe haven. Even in the most seemingly safest world, she easily met danger. In a sense, she encountered fear, and the anxiety was eating up at her.
Cranning it's head up, it watched the sky become a dull grey, but not dreary enough to be foreboding of a storm; he knew how much she disliked storms.
but how could that be look at what love gave us.
She swung at the last Armored Knight and felt the sting of her arms; even with such a light keyblade, her grip caused a strain throughout. The last swing caused her to put her full weight into the blade and literally prop herself on it as it poised against the ground.
With a hiss, she inhaled deeply through her nose before opening her eyes. Her breath caught her throat feeling drops of tears escape. For the stag the soft patter on the ground was loud enough to make his ears turn and twitch; it emitted a whine with a clip of its hooves, but she paid him no mind, while she's trapped in her own mind to pull herself together.
Come on Kairi...come on...just breath and pull yourself together you can't crack now...
She slowly rolled up and tilted her head back to the sky, and only shook out of it was feeling a muzzle nudge her, "I'm okay...I have promises to keep, so...I gotta stop this soon..."
It moaned like an orca and nuzzled under her hand to make her pet him, "yeah I know...and I'm not proud of it either...I'll do better don't worry, but I got to shake a leg. I'm not gonna stand here and wait...until something bigger happens that I could've prevented."
World full of killing, And blood-spilling, that world never came.
"Hm?" Kaired hummed in response to the stag who moaned again and started to stroll away from her, "oh that boy...with..."
What color was it?
Her brows furrowed to remember the boy who sided with the heartless, a stranger, put his entire life and trust in a devil, "the one with the blue hair..."
The keyblade whistled as it swayed to and fro as she followed the stag homewards, "I don't think I have the heart to care for him. I mean...he's stepping on everything Sora, Riku, and the king been through and believed in. I can't help someone who doesn't wants it...or that foolish."
The stag gave a whistle purring chip and tilted his head in a questioning manner, "I mean that way of thinking is bound to make him go through troubles...it's darkness for crying out loud. I'm draw enough to myself for being what I am...and holding what I have. I'm...a part of a keyhole and a wielder as well; I can't go making risks...or sacrifices that would hardly be appreciated...the others deserves better. They're living a fate he may meet, and they don't have controll over it, and I can help them. Maybe I can help him too once his eyes opens...perferably before he hits rock bottom."
Ienzo sighed to nobody in particular, his back against the crystals that made up this odd fissure. Radiant Garden was a place of Light, yes, but the world around the Castle had been decimated a long time ago, left as empty ruins and destroyed landscape. The pale sky hung above it, grayed by the mutilations that held it to the horizon. That was too close. The Heartless that had attacked Kairi, if that was indeed who that girl was, had gone too far. He never had a chance for success. That is, until the little bottom-feeder jumped into the fray.
Ienzo disappeared soon after his intervention in order to prevent the wild accusations and hateful glares that would have gone his way if Ruold would have stayed. He's making things hard... The schemer thought as he looked out over the fissure. It honestly doesn't matter, I guess. I'll be here for good soon enough.
A voice echoed out over the ruins and Ienzo closed his eyes. His vision delved into the shadows, and as he traced out the shadows of the ruins, his perspectives multiplied. Even as a Heartless, something beyond human, he couldn't watch from every perspective at once. Instead, he viewed every angle differently, switching his attention through them, looking for colors and shapes that didn't belong where they were. Eventually, his mind came to rest on a girl and a silvery-white creature. She was close-by.
The Heartless dived into the shadows, making his way backwards, and reformed at a wall, his arms crossed, in front of her. He didn't plan on getting too close- that beast would maul his ass. Instead, he just wanted to talk. Explain. Attempt to reason. He lifted his hands up in the air in a show of peace, the Heartless in the area immediately backing off. They wouldn't hurt her as long as he was here- if they so much as moved he'd kill them. The creatures disappeared quite fast.
"I want to explain." The man with silver eyes wondered if this would go at all as planned.

With a soft bump the stag nudged her only making her chuckle and grasp his antler as he led her off, "But I would strike him down if I have to..."
The harsh tone of her own voice caught her by surprise, which made her wonder what kind of person she was evolving into. She hardly had a hating bone in her body at most she would strongly dislike someone and have nothing to do with their company. To recieve full head on hatred qualified for a lot of malice, but what concerned her was...did she wanted to hate him. "D-does that even sound believable."
Child you can only do so much...so save what you can
The voice hummed in her head, and she nodded with a low hum in return. As the moved on Kairi almost bumped into the stag as it tensed sensing it before she did. Before she could question or ask, she was hit with the answer. Before she could draw out her keyblade, Heartless were already scurry away to hide as a familiar figure stood amongst them. Comet was already snorting and crossing infront her to be a seperating wall. It's eyes glowed a threatening white, while Kairi's forged a frown of its own.
"I want to..."
"What are you doing here?" Their words collided in the stiff air only making it even quieter. "You shouldn't be here."
She felt herself giving the same lashes she dealt onto Axel, but that easily changed around given their history. He on the other hand was just a stranger, or so he seemed, a stranger who didn't do anything, which only made him more questionable and untrustworthy. Last time...well from her memory, she didn't recall feeling anything from him as if he was some sort of a Nobody. Yet now there were heartless in his company, this anomaly wasn't settling well with her. After crossing her lastest heartless and knowing of heartless and nobodies in general, she wasn't one to make herself open to them; thus far there was only one exception to the rule because his actions spoke it. His on the other hand...hadn't helped to prove what side of the fence he stood.
"So you better get going before I report you," Kairi started before turning away, while the stag kept its eye on him to not take cheap shots.
The Heartless watched the girl and her stag, fully alert. This was a dangerous position for him...
"I have to correct you on that-" he said, crossing his arms. "As unbelievable as it may seem, I'm on your side." He sighed. If only this girl understood how powerful she was. The Organization might not have any trouble in her presence, but the Heartless weren't so lucky. if she knew that she could banish his body with a single burst of energy, maybe she would see how he was making a sacrifice here. "That man who just left, he was a fool and should have died back there, along with his lackey. I would have helped you if not for the fool who stood in my way."
He eyed the stag nervously as Kairi started to turn away. Reporting him would do no good. Tifa was out and about with Squall and the rest of the RGRUC, and if Kairi told her they would simply have a talk. "Kairi, you should know not all Heartless are bad. If they were, then why did you stick around to save Sora?" Honestly, the stereotypes were getting on Ienzo's nerves. But while Kairi was powerful, she was still young. Perhaps, in time, she could understand that Darkness was just the other side of the coin. And Ienzo was still a person, for the most part. If anything, he felt pain better than any emotion, considering its dark nature. "If you want to know my reason to join you, it's just as Dark as I am. Nonetheless, I still choose you over the Darkness."
"My name is Ienzo. It's nice to finally meet you, for however much that is worth."

Unbelievable...he can say that again... She thought it was a snort before turning her head to glare at him. From her memory there were times he could've interfered where he and that blue haired idiot just stood and ogle as if it was a mere cock fight. "From what I recall you hardly was much help...so I doubt I can take your should've would've could've seriously."
She had enough of unwanted company and had even resulted to stomping away in disdain, but that damn thing had struck a nerve. She didn't even inquire how he knew Sora, but she pivoted on her toes and stormed right at him. The stag could feel her anxiety boiling up in her making it even more jittery than before. It began hastely stepping around more than usual as if prepared to make a charge, while making sure she doesn't get too close without him nearby.
"Oh you have some nerve. FIRST of all WISE GUY I KNOW Sora. He would do ANYTHING for me, and he HAD. And right now I TOTALLY can't say the same for you, a complete stranger. DUH!!"
She huffed loudly as if it was the obvious thing already finding the guy obnoxious. In the heat of it all, she turned back around to go home, but stopped and turned back, "Also Sora was just a shadow, and you lot with the faces seems to be the worst one yet. So next tiiime before you do your whatever 'sympathy' thing, do some dabbling before you throw Sora around."
"And you know you stand nothing to him," this was probably the first in a long time Kairi had to be defensive about Sora ever, "you know what...what am I even talking about. How do you even know him? Because someone who knew him wouldn't even try to make a comparison. Heck how do you know me?! Who the heck are you anyway?!"
Now she was so frustrated she was babbling, while her list of 'Reasons not to trust the strange stranger' elongated. He knew of her, and he knew of Sora, yet she doesn't know him, and generally those who fit in that category as well as being a Heartless were the absolute individuals to avoid. Stomping, she turned to Comet and even resorted to talking to the white deer as if the other wasn't there, "Why am I even talking to him? That's it I'm telling Yuffie, Rikku, somebody."
Her feet shuffled to leave him on his lonesome before he spoke up, "You know what for a complete stranger...you really don't think things through. You've done nothing for me to believe or have done anything to validate anything you just said. Sooo Ienzo I advise you to leave, kay?"
Why does it seems that heartless and nobodies just brings out the snarkiness out of Kairi?
Ienzo grinned. "If I answer your questions... Will you listen? Or just stomp away again?" The Heartless hadn't quite expected this vehement fury from a Princess, but he welcomed it. Might as well get it all out of the way now. He threw his black hair to the side slightly, his Heart sinking when he realized that he looked just like Zexion now. How boring... The schemer never seemed that fun. From what his data showed, the man only experimented on things with Vexen.
Creepy.
Needless to say, Ienzo preferred to work alone. The few times he did work with Even, he didn't really say much more than the work required. The memories were static and boring... Luckily, the missions assigned by the all-glorified Seeker were done for him now. Or at least he hoped. He listened to her rant, keeping a respectful "hands down" approach. He had nothing to hide, and was here only to talk. He honestly didn't worry about her talking to the RGRUC. If she were to tell Yuffie, the ninja might flip shit a little, but Tifa or Merlin could explain the dealio. At the time, Ienzo was pretty sure Squall was absent for his arrival, but the Heartless was sure that he had a word of trust within Radiant Garden.
"To be honest, I don't know your Sora personally. We've never met, and not for bad reasons; I've never crossed his path. But I know a lot. I study the World and the people in them. And that's why I'm here to help you guys. I can tell you everything, no problem from me, if you'll just relax a bit. I understand that honesty is plausible here and I offer no deal- I will tell you anything you need to know, in the event that it's within my knowledge or experience." His silver eyes closed, but his eyes in the shadow were watching the ethereal creature at her side for movement, ready to disappear in a moment provided it rushed him.
Damn, that thing was scary.
"And I can leave if that's what you truly want. But in your place, to grow stronger and fight the Heartless, wouldn't it do you well to learn more about them? Or at least know what's been happening. You may be able to understand what your friend Riku does... I've talked to him a little about it as well. Unfortunately, one of the Organization members cut our conversation short." He bowed his head. "I'm here, and I have answers you may seek. I don't expect you to trust me, but at least take them into options as a show of my gratitude for being allowed to live here?"
What was on her mind? Frantic thoughts? Jumbles of options? Ienzo couldn't tell from her eyes. Her attitude was too erratic right now to read anything from her, so he could only expect the worst to happen. If she sent him off, that was understandable. Perhaps the RGRUC could explain it to her. Riku had only a passing conversation with him, so he was surely still a little suspicious. Thus was the fate of a Heartless, it seemed.

With a gleam, her keyblade emerged in her hand, and she pointed it at Ienzo, "Shut up, you don't have any legs to mention or even school me about Riku or Sora. You're not them; you'll never be them, and you don't even know them, so shut up," she hissed the last line out, "I know my friends way better than you do, so if you really want to live I would advice you NEVER...speak of them again as if you do know them. Got it?"
Ienzo was failing poorly in trying to persuade her; if anything he was upsetting her more by trying to use her friends as bait to lure her into whatever he's trying to pull. That was another thing she was starting to know of them; there were too many ulterior motives, especially when they think beyond the little primal thoughts of the shadows. This only made him more dangerous on her scale 1 to 10.
"First of all...you want to talk to me, not the other way around. So you must want something, and for you heartlesses having ulterior motives, I really don't think I should care about anything you say. You could've helped me, but you didn't. For all I know you're some heartless spectator. So...give me one reason why I should just off you now?"
"After all that all I need to know about heartless right? You're darkness, and I am light. Light can get rid of the darkness, and so can the keyblade." She glanced at Comet, then at him, "So it seems I have everything, so it should be easy as pie. And if you so call choose me over darkness, you would let me, and there will be one less heartless in the world causing who knows what."
"So what do you want to tell me, so badly hm? What could you possibly offer me what I already don't have? You want to explain; you want to talk. So start talking." The tip of the blade already commenced to luminate. She heard a whisper in her head from the stag, but she hushed it with a reply.
Don't worry I know what I'm doing...
Are you sure?
...Positive
The stag's ear twitched, and it's eyes glowed lightly. Something didn't settle to well with him, and he made it clear with a snort and stomp of its hooves.
Ienzo nodded as she spoke. The Keyblade brandished at him gave a moment of fear, but he quickly realized that he could avoid it if necessary. I hope to hell that isn't necessary, he couldn't help but think. Kairi attacking him meant a lot of mixed emotions with the Keybladers. And the RGRUC wouldn't be happy with the mess. The stag creature was watching him, he could feel it. Even when he was attempting to ignore it. Needless to say, the Heartless didn't sweat.
If I tell her what I want she'll just blow it off and toast my ass... The Heartless thought. This was a sticky situation, but it was necessary. It provided at least some tie to Kairi. Giving her information of his existence was key- it showed that he wasn't hiding anything, first off.
"I tried to help you as much as possible, but the Heartless that ran away- Ruold- if he felt something was suspicious he would tell the one you know as Ansem. The one who watches us all. And that would be bad for both me and the RGRUC. Doesn't matter how many portals I throw up to try and help, if Ansem interferes, we might both die." As bad as that sounded, it was unfortunately true. The Heartless was skirting on the edge of disaster right now in far more ways than one; such was his nature. Ienzo wanted Ansem-
His eyes widened as he realized what he wanted her to know might be that which saves him. The thing he wanted most. Maybe she would understand. Hopefully, she might agree with him.
"With all due respect, what I am about to say will sound very heartless," he warned, no pun intended. "But the reason I want your help is because I want Ansem dead, just as much as the RGRUC does." The cold words left his lips and he felt a little embarrassment. Had he ever told anybody that before? That he was so inferior to Ansem he needed help getting rid of him? "That man stripped me of my body, my family, and my home over ten years ago. Ansem the Wise died at his hands, or rather, was banished. I was torn from my body and have since been used as his puppet. I am here for a more personal reason, not to be a spy for a dictator who's already fallen once. Why else would I be here, in Radiant Garden? For safety? No, I can disappear. I need no haven. I came here because this is the one true place I felt I belonged. And I was right. Tifa gave me the benefit of a doubt and since, I've been a resourceful data-collector." His silver eyes betrayed a flicker of something. Maybe memories of happiness. Memories were all he had anymore.
"We don't choose to be Heartless," he continued. "Maybe Ansem, but not the rest of us. Some accepted it as fate. Some died. I hated him for what he did to us." To Elaeus. To the rest of the Apprentices that watched over him like family. Those kids who always played outside the front gates. Ten years ago was a long time, and Ienzo, to this day, still erupted at the thought of what he did. How Ansem tricked him into beguiling his father. No, not Ansem, that wasn't his name. Ienzo used to call him...
Xehanort.
"I came here to at least meet you, hopefully to speak words of peace. My ulterior motives are the same as the RGRUC's, aside from different personal reasons. If these are the answers you seek then I lay them out before you, and I can only hope you don't ridicule me for my mistakes. I'm doing my best to learn from them."

It seemed like he was singing like a canary, then again she couldn't blame him; there was a keyblade pointing at him right this moment. So he was with this club of heartless. Now her mind was doing it's own version of a word bank. To refresh her memory, she linked Ansem to Xemnas, which was no surprise how two of the most problematic people where the heads of the most problematic group leaving Maleficent with whatever in last place. So this Ruold, what an odd name, should have a congruent reflection on the other side, but Kairi wasn't so fluent in the names of those in the Organization; sure Sora and Riku were generously to not leave her out the loop, but the identities were getting muddled with this pairing of duality, pieces of a hole.
In that case, who was Ienzo's other half? She wasn't sure to call him better half or not, since Sora and Riku had defeated the entire roster at one point excluding Axel and Roxas.
"With all due respect, what I am about to say will sound very heartless...
Her eyes narrowed with an arched brow, "Really man, you're going with a pun."
"But the reason I want your help is because I want Ansem dead, just as much as the RGRUC does."
That was a different turn she wasn't expecting, and naturally she gave him a skeptical gaze, "what you have against him when you're with him?"
It seemed she was getting a different story to the same one she already knew of. From her memory, they were doing unneccessary and even banned experiments, which led them to this chaos. It sounded like a willingly participation that blew up in their faces, so were there truly any room to be spiteful of the consequences of the path one walked? Or maybe more went on here then majority knew. What really went down in that castle where they experimented? Did he eventually became a test subject himself?
Regardless it seemed as if he didn't want to be what he was now. Then again she never saw anything glorious of being less than human, which is why she even offered to Axel to help find his heart again, while trying to stear him aware from inhumane routes to get it like using hearts of others.
"Why do you need my acceptance anyways? Seems like you already have support already. So what do you need more for? There are Sora and Riku. Also what 'data' have you been collecting...precisely?"
Ienzo felt the heat raging within his chest subside as Kairi didn't shoot him to hell and back. Or maybe... He was just angry to admit his faults. In the end, they all got played. How did Xehanort know exactly what they would find? He was intelligent, but so much more than they had anticipated. That plot, wherever it came from, was ready to ensnare them from the beginning. And it ended with Ansem dying and Ienzo's fall into Darkness.
The last Apprentice was the one who got hit the most by it. He was a child back then, after all. But the Darkness had taught him well.
But- back to the subject. Ienzo wasn't dead. Kairi was hearing him out. He breathed a mental sigh of relief. Damn... The feeling of life suddenly seemed a lot more enticing as it flooded through his body, to the tips of his fingertips. The raven-haired Heartless could taste the fear though, and did his best to explain. Why did he want her approval? He honestly didn't know. He just needed to talk to her.
"My data was actually on the Dark XII. The most recent, anyways. I have data ranging from over a year ago to now on various worlds, persons, and powers, which was a duty assigned to me when I awoke. For the RGRUC, I have collected data on my peers- which is difficult to do because a Heartless can change in nature and ability."
The old data... Involved her too. The fact that she reigned from Radiant Garden. That she was one of the Princesses, or the fact that she was the closest to Sora than any other person, save his own Nobody. Sora had a vast collection of data that Ienzo had seen to personally. Why? He had the ability to hide in shadow. To watch, without scent or sight. Just like a Neo-Shadow, the creatures that seemed to flock to him.
Did he enjoy these abilities? Ienzo didn't care about them. They weren't good or bad, but another part of life, just like a person's eye color or temperament. Genetics, in a Heartless way. He couldn't change himself so he tended to just use them without thinking about the ends they entrailed.
"I've made mistakes. I won't use "youthful innocence" an excuse," he said. He stared at her, realizing something. It had been ten or eleven years since that day... He grinned. The grin wasn't out of happiness or sarcasm, but it help a more sorrowful touch. "I just now realized that if the Darkness hadn't consumed me- I would be around the same age as you." Instead, the Darkness tainted his body and time became a flux inside of the Darkness. Like Ansem the Wise once said, Darkness in Zero. In whatever realm he became a part of, time affected his body differently, and he came older than what was meant to be.
Back to the subject, damnit. You're talking to much, Ienzo. He caught himself wasting time and valuable words- note, she hadn't lowered her weapon yet. "I don't really get it all myself. I don't know why I was driven to talk to you. Maybe it's where I felt an apology was most in order."
"After all, I'm part of the reason this all came to happen in the first place." Wasn't her home destroyed when his was? Or could she remember that far back?
Ienzo could feel whatever emotional walls he had breached begin to replace themselves. At that moment he was reminded of Demyx, for some odd reason. Despite his lack of emotions, the creature couldn't stop his artificial ones from showing. Ever.
Disgusting... The Heartless needed to compose himself better in the future.

Sapphire purple tinted eyes flashed over at Comet as a flare of distres was sent her way; it was so random that it confused her. With a click of its hooves it stepped forward nearly bumping Kairi aside making her lower the keyblade. Her brows wrinkled for a moment; she told him she knew what she was doing, but he'd interjected anyway.
"Comet-"
An ear turned back towards her as he emitted a soothing ethereal hum, while still focusing on the heartless.
I see you now...but you were smaller. I should've known....you look so much like him, Zexion. When they were here, they used to roam the corridors of the castle same as you had before. It huffed a mist of white on him, I am the sentient of Radiant Garden...or at least a reflection of it. You are a part of me as she is, so you owe this world everything. If any harm behalfs her again even indirectly by your hands again, I'll make sure you see the light..
Kairi only got the tone of the conversation as Comet didn't permit her insight in the telepathic conversation; all she knew was that there was a sense of familiarity, and when Comet backed away, he was less tense and hostile than before.
"Hee...totally said something," Kairi started while giving the stag a questioning look, but it only gave her a snort to not worry herself of it, "And I was going to say that I can potentially blame you for not remembering much of this place, but I suppose it doesn't matters now. Everyone lost something, and people are still losing anything today."
"Plus now that Comet doesn't feel the need to charge at you, there goes that charade," the keyblade was summoned away before she cupped the deer's face, "I told you I could handle it."
You can blame me for being parental...
"He thought I was just going to blast you off or something," Kairi glanced at him with a meek smile and shrug," hmm but since you both fell for it, then that meant it worked."
The stag snorted in disapproval and even nipped and tugged at her hair playfully for it.
"To bad I don't remember, I probably had met you at one point; that cooould've helped your defense more you know," she blurted out in a matter-of-factly tone, while rocking on the balls of her feet.
"So if you know about the Dark XII gang, then what's Ruold going to do with that other guy? I doubt you can interfere without blowing up your cover, but then again...'you can't help those who doesn't want it'. Also what are they up to now? I know this world is safe...for the time-being, and I am going to leave soon to check on the others..."
An alarming chain of events. The beast. It spoke to him! Ienzo's eyes widened as he stared at the creature. It was... Radiant Garden? First off, the Light was sentient. That was terrifying. Secondly, it was derived from this very World. Holy... Ienzo held his breath as the creature spoke. Naturally, it was telling him what Tifa was too polite to say. 'Don't start problems here and you're good, Ienzo.' The Heartless' steely eyes flashed. No problem, he had the Dark XII under control.
Kairi then lowered her Keyblade finally, allowing Ienzo a moment's reprieve. What did it matter that she was bluffing if he had two Light beings very unhappy with him? Ienzo was far more vulnerable to Light than his comrades, meaning that her abilities could be fatal if he wasn't careful. The Heartless listened to her words and shrugged. "I don't remember if we ever met, unfortunately. And I didn't want to fabricate anything." Saying that they had met before might have been true, but Ienzo honestly couldn't remember anything but being with Ansem... And Xehanort, of course.
Ienzo didn't know what to say about Ruold. There wasn't much to say about that man. He was here against Ansem's will, that much was certain. "The Heartless you met earlier was doing his own thing. Most likely looking for brownie points with the head honcho." The dark-haired one was feeling much more relaxed without the threat of impending doom lingering above his head. "And he's probably going to keep that kid human- they use the humans as spies because we Dark XII are easy to distinguish by the Claymores or magically-inclined beings." Except for me, of course. My jacket does well to make me at least seem human. "At the moment the Dark XII are moving, and I'm doing my best to prevent any long-term damage," he added, tapping his fingers together. "But it's not something that can be done in an instant, I've been playing this game for a long time. I can't tell what outcome may happen."

Kairi held back a chuckle, which only seeped out as a playful smirk of sorts, “Oh working on the honesty there eh?”
Well she would have to give him miniscule brownie points for not lying where he could’ve. As he filled her in on Ruold, her arms folded across her chest reflecting on what she remembered about him herself. He had a thing for reverting into a phantom and those bloody small balls to lash out with. Her nose wrinkled at his obnoxiousness thinking she was just going to let herself be dragged off with him. Maybe he should’ve done some Ienzo-style research; she let that happened once, and it wasn’t going to happen so briskly again. And since he was trying to grab her just to appease Ansem, then they must really be desperate.
He mentioned there were 12 of them…so it must be a dog-eat-dog competition to outdo one another.
All the more reasons why you should find your friends. If they are so antsy to grab you and use humans as eyes, who knows what else they may resort to.
This prose a problem now; her list of people to avoid grew larger. The heartless were recruiting people, so who knows what ‘ordinary’ person could easily be conspiring against her and the other wielders. This just made things even more complicated; it was like an over-crowded chessboard where all the pieces were wearing disguises. Some were in their true-colors; some were truly traitors like Ienzo and Axel, while others blend in so naturally that one may not realize that they’re eating brunch with the danger.
“This just gets better and better,” she mumbled lowly as she looked towards the ground to find a rock to kick her frustration out at. When he mentioned the Dark XII as a whole, her eyes flicked back up to him…only to taste a twinge of disappointment.
“You know for a guy who wants to help; you’re too vague to be helpful,” her brows raised in a suspenseful manner, “seriously don’t make me think twice about you…it’s already sounds pretty insane to even have a ‘treaty’ with a heartless.”
She wondered if Sora and Riku would find bat’s crap insane for even considering and going along with this just to say he was still a stranger to her. “So if you’re going to help me and them, you might as well spit out everything you know. I doubt them ‘moving’ means that they’re absolutely harmless, and since heartless have that…destructive m.o. then that’s mean they’ve already done something big or planning something big.”
She had some validations to what she said; even the small heartless worked big schemes that resulted into world destruction, “So what aren’t you telling me, Ienzo?
Ienzo stopped. What was the movement? This was the moment that Ienzo had been hoping wouldn't come. Telling her exactly what was about to be set in motion. This is where his job became difficult. They can't know too much; that's the general rule. If they do, Ansem loses a battle and gets suspicious. And begins to question the loyalty of his subjects.
Or the good guys know too little and end up hurt.
Kamikaze over me
So... Ienzo sighed and dropped his voice, looking at the bull. "At the moment I'm having difficulties reaching the RGRUC," he said calmly. "So maybe it's best that I tell you. You at least have a Keyblade." His silver eyes flashed. Telling Tifa would be safer, but she was nowhere to be found. It was a hopeless feeling. This time his thoughts were directed at the bull. It seemed to have some form of psychic power, so perhaps it could share the message without any chance of interception. "My organization will be at Twilight Town soon, to take the magician's tower on the outskirts of the World. There they will attempt to subdue the powerful sorcerer known as Yen Sid."
The walls... He could feel their eyes on his back. He wondered if Ruold was still in the area. If the Heartless was expecting him to act, even after his departure. In that event, he would be sorely disappointed- Ienzo had eyes waiting in the shadows waiting for the slightest scent.
And I come alive
The next part he said directly to Kairi, not an attempt to speak to her ethereal creature. "But I don't think we'll have enough time to plan anything. This is entirely on me." He clenched his fists at the thought. Multiple members were attempting this mission; he was there when Ansem assigned it. The objective was to separate them, then take them on one by one... Or let Yen Sid do it for him. Worst case scenario, Ansem appeared and Ienzo died. "I've decided to retire from their ranks during this mission. Sadly, I can't promise I'll be any help. At least I can be some form of distraction."

Calm down...I think you're the last person to tell me so, the stag wasn't a vendictive individual, but it will bring up the past to prove a point. This boy amongst others was the reason why the world fell, and heartless in general were making worlds dwindle out of the sky. So no one in their right mind should tell him to calm down...not one who can also be held accountable for some of the damage.
"Ok you two stop it," Kairi held her hands up not really wanting to be a mediator between the two. His hooves clicked on the floor in agitation, but he kept his thoughts to himself or at least between him and the girl, "now where were we?"
Her eyes focused on Ienzo and skeptically narrowed as his tone lowered. Why did she felt like she had opened the door for bad news? It was too late to slam the door in his face, and it would be irresponsible for her to ignore the on-goings outside, while she dwelled peacefully in her little hut. He was going to let her in, but he said nothing. What caught her attention was the shuffling feet of the stag who grumbled lowly before transfering it over towards her like a telephone line.
"Plan anything? Well can you at least warn him or something?" Great there was already something in motion, and she wasn't sure how to think of it except the worse. She knew very little of this Yen Sid, but him being a skilled sorcerer ebbed away some anxiety. Yet had he ever opposed so many elit heartless at once, "if only I knew how to reach the King...somehow...someway."
Her voice quieted down until Ienzo's washed over hers. It took her a while to get what his next course of actions were, and her eyes bulged. "Are you SERIOUS?! What if you're distracting enough to draw too much attention to you?"
Now came the thinking, babbling, and pacing, "Worse case scenario...they'll speculate your identity; you'll end up being black-listed. Then you'll definately need a safe haven, and there's goes the sole connection we have on these guys. We won't even know when they'll strike next until it's already in action."
Stop it child before you overwhelm yourself.
"No no, there has to be some other way. You an't promise that you would be much help, or that you'll be fine. Sooo what can you even promise? What's the point if evidentally there will be bad ending? It's either something happens to Yen Sid, something happens to you, or both."
Someone's going to end up falling, and she rather not calculate who would it be first.
