In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Okay, so she didn't want Shiro involved...seemed odd to him. She took a deep breath and continued, "I see nightmares now when I sleep...images of a burning village, it's people ruthlessly slaughtered by men in uniformed clothing. I can hear it...even now I hear those villagers screams...their torment and terror. And in the middle of it all...is a child. Small and fragile...she's looking for her parents, but in the end she gets caught by one of the uniformed men...." She then looked at him with a dark face and said softly, "That child...was me..."
He felt a strong wave of sympathy hit him. Hard. "But you're here, now. You got through it, and, now, you have friends to help you through whatever happens. Shiro and I, I would hope Shira, too, are here when you need us. You made it through and found a better life, that's what's important." He looked her in the eye as he talked to her, trying to show that he was sincere.
V nodded, "I guess you're right...but...I don't want to burden anyone with my problems."
She stood up, wiping away the tears from her eyes. "People...already have enough problems with their own lives." she said, "Just talking about mine...would just add to how much everyone has to deal with..."
She closed her eye, "I..."She stuttered, "I-ju-st don't want to be a bother to everyone."
After that, V turned her head away. Just in case she started to cry again, she didn't want Saxen to see her suffering...her sadness that held deep inside her heart.
Man...Saxen felt bad for V. She was so intent on not letting anyone see her emotions that she was letting them destroy her, slowly but surely. He watched her stand up and wipe tears from her eyes. She turned her head away. He stood up again. "V, it's okay to let people see. Someone I knew used to say 'just puke, you'll feel better.' I apply the same thing to emotions. People need friends for a reason. If you let them do their part, everyone benefits." He put his hand on her shoulder. "Trust Shiro."
V almost laughed, at the comment to puke/ "What an interesting thing to say." she said grinning. She then became silent once Saxen put his hand on her shoulder.
"Trust shiro." he said.
V stood silent, she wanted to trust Shiro. She wanted to tell him so badly about her problems, to just shout it out....but unfortunately things weren't always so simple.
She turned her head, to face Saxen and nudging his hand off her shoulder said. "I can't... Not now anyway...maybe...when I finally get the courage to I'll tell him. But for now I'll stay silent..."
Saxen let V push his hand off her shoulder. For a moment, he felt bad. He felt like he was just making everything wierd at the moment. "I can't... Not now anyway...maybe...when I finally get the courage to I'll tell him. But for now I'll stay silent..."
"Look," Saxen said, slightly forcefully, "You have to talk to him. At least tell him about the dream. I'm sure that'll make him feel better. Y'know, I think Shira might tell you the same thing, albeit more forcefully." He stepped back a little bit and looked out over the garden.
"Saxen, you should just let Shira deal with this. She lives in the head with V. And, they're not quite like us." Deathblade had a point, but it wasn't like Saxen to just leave someone. He couldn't help it.
"You might be right, but I can't do that." During the conversation, as usual, his eyes glowed red and his attention waned. He then came back to reality and turned back to V.
(Shiro’s little adventure, hehe. I got Ayama’s permission to enter the thread for one or two posts.)
RING!!!
Shiro’s eyes suddenly opened, but only just to see the second alarm that he had set ringing. Great, he overslept. Damn’t. He slowly, got out of bed, trying to get back into reality. He let out a yawn as he stood up. He examined his surroundings, he noticed V wasn’t there. Bummer. She was probably wondering around, exploring the world. Right now, he was wearing a simply white t-shirt and some pants. He wasn’t wearing any shoes or socks, so the first thing he did was go get some socks. He quickly walked over and opened up the closet and took a pair of socks out of one of the bags. Shiro then walked over the bed again, and then put them on. He was still very tired, so he did it a little slowly.
The gravity controller then walked over to the closet again and took a bag out of it. And with that, he walked into the hotel bathroom and shut the door. When done, he walked out of the bathroom in his usual clothing. Let’s see, he took a shower, brushed his teeth, put some deodorant on, etc. Anyways, he was all ready to go.
He then headed out his hotel room’s door. Then, eventually, he walked out of the hotel. He took a deep breath of the air around him. Radiant Garden… Radiant Garden was peaceful. He started to walk around a bit, until he reached the gardens. At the gardens, who did he find, V! He felt like sneaking up on her and shocking her, but… The odd thing was that Saxen was there. He stood a long, but not too long, distance away. Long enough where they probably couldn’t see him, unless they focused, and he couldn’t hear them, but it was short enough that he could see them.
The first thing he saw was V, on the ground, crying. What did Saxen do!? His hands changed into fists, wondering about what he could do. He was about to go up there and confront Saxen, until… He wrapped his arms around her? His fists changed back, and the anger shown on his face went back to being calm. Well, he was calm… His eyes widened. What was happening? He felt a sudden pain in his heart. What were they saying!?
V wouldn’t… Wait, would she? No, she wouldn’t do that... Or would she…? He thought about that for a little, until Saxen put his hand on her shoulder. That was all he needed to see. He turned around, staring at the ground, feeling sadness and shock at the same time. The gravity controller started to walk, but then… He turned around once again, hoping to see V pushing Saxen away or something. But, nothing had happened. He turned around once again to continue walking.
V was silent then, suddenly she sensed an aura moving not so far away. V looked up, there was someone close? And she didn't sense it? It was probablly because she was to into Saxens and her's conversation, she didn't pay much attention to anything else.
But there was something about this aura that seemed familiar. It came to her, "Shiro..." she whispered just loud enough for Saxen to hear. She smiled, then immediately she ran towards where the aura was coming from.
"Shiro?" she shouted. She ran until she saw a figure up ahead, she smiled. Indeed it was her love. She stopped, and creeping up from behind gave him a hug.
"Hey!" she said happily, letting go so that she could go in front of him and face him. "Nice to see you finally woke up." She let out a soft laugh.
Then looking directly into Shiro's eyes something struck her. His eye's they seemed emotionless...she had seen this before that one time in when they had gotten into a little argument at Traverse Town. "Hey?" she said, stroking his hair with her hand. "Whats wrong?"
Saxen turned around after talking with Deathblade and saw that V had disappeared. After a second or two, he noticed Shiro and V standing together. He smiled until he noticed that it seemed that something was wrong with Shiro. He still hung back and watched. He figured it wasn't his business and Deathblade was inclined to agree. So, for now, they just hung back and hoped things worked out.
Sadness was the only thing on his mind as he walked. This couldn't be real... Maybe it was just a dream or some sort. He hoped it was. Shiro's eyes widened as he felt someone hug him, because he was startled for a second. Then his eyes met V. He didn't know to angry or sad. Well, he knew that he was going to handle this situation better than last time. Last time, at Traverse Town, he remembered that he let all his anger out. He wasn't going to do that this time.
Shiro didn't respond or laugh to V's comment on sleep. He simply stood there in silence, looking at the ground. He didn't care or move when she stroked his hair, asking what was wrong. All he did was look at the ground.
Finally, after a few minutes, he looked at her. "What... What were you two doing...?" he managed to say. There was no anger or anything like that in his tone. Only sadness. Anyone could've heard that. Sadly, this was not going as planned. He wanted to remain calm, and keep his emotions inside him, yet sadness managed to slip through the security in his head.
V was taken back by the tone in Shiros voice. Was he sad? Angry? But... Why? She was silent, thinking if what she couldve done... Did she say something? If Shiro was watching, then it's possible he heard her conversation with Saxen. At this her eyes widened. But no...he just asked what they were doing, so that was out.
She sighed in relief, but then what did she do?
"Idiot..." said a voice in her head.
"Shira?" V replied.
"Its because of the way Saxen was touching you, that Shiros upset."
"How Saxen was touching me?" V repeated confused. Suddenly it hit her, Saxen hugged her when they were talking! And when he put his hand on her shoulder.
She looked up at Shiro, and smiling said. "You moron..." she embraced him in another hug. "We were just taliking...nothing more."
She looked him in the eyes, to show she was telling the truth...well...mostly. Maybe...she should just tell him what's going on with her. But that single thought of being a bother clung to her like glue.So she stayed silent, and waited for her loves response.
So looking up at him, she said honestly. " just talking..."
Talking...? It looked like there was alot more than that happening... And the thing that hurt Shiro even more was the fact that he wasn't there in the beggining. They could've been doing anything, which was a unpleasent thought for Shiro.
Shiro looked down at V, who repeated that statement twice. Saying something twice was never a good sign. Even though that it was so tempting to believe V, who he loved so much, but... It felt like there was a lie. He wanted to believe her, he really did. But he knew that there was more.
"A... About what?" he asked with his sad tone, even though he tried his best to keep his emotions inside. He looked at V, who's smile would've made him happy if he believed her. If only he could have his memory wiped once again, just to forget this day. But he couldn't, so the memory would stay with him forever.
Though he was glad that only V was near him. If Saxen was, anger would probably be the next emotion to slip out of him. He probably wouldn't be able to control himself once the anger was out. Normally, he had complete control over his anger. Though, when it involved V... There was no control, no matter how hard he tried.
V's eyes grew wide as her love asked, what Saxen and her were talking about. She broke away from the hug, and not sure what to say stayed quiet.
At this time, V was hoping Shira would yell at het, and tell her what to do. But surprisngly the other personality was quiet, and wouldn't say a thing.
This made V really nervous, she looked down at the ground...should she tell him? She didn't want to bother him with her problems....but...maybe Saxen was right...perhaps she needed to trust Shiro...Afterall he did love her right?
She looked up at her love, and was about to say something when her nightmare appeared in her head again. At this, V's body started to shake. 'no....' she thought in dispair. She clutched her head between her hands, and looking down she constantly repeated to shake her head.
"No...no...." she whispered, "No! Get out of my head!"
At this a small tear, formed around the corner of her eye, and fell slowly down the girls cheek. She closed her eye tightly, as if wishing she was just having another bad dream.
That any moment now, she'd wake up. But the image of the villagers burning to death, still lingered in her head.
"I-I...." she said, her voice shaking. "Dont w-want to remember...."
As V broke away from the hug, he knew this wouldn't be good. Also, the fact that her eyes widened made him feel even worse. Why couldn't he just not have been here? Why couldn't he sleep for the whole day...? And then he wouldn't have to feel the pain he was feeling now.
Seeing her body start to shake didn't make him feel good. Then she started to say "no" over and over again... He thought she was talking to him... And then she told him to get out of her head... Was she talking to him...? No... Would she say that to him? The good thoughts and bad thoughts of this situation collided in his head. What was happening!?
"I-I...." she said, her voice shaking. "Dont w-want to remember...."
"... Me?" he simply asked, looking at the ground. The bad thoughts won against the good thoughts and made him think negative. He couldn't just stand there and let the sadness get to his head. Maybe he should just leave and then everyone would be happy... But, something in his heart told him to stay. Maybe the situation was different than what he was thinking... Maybe, he was wrong about the whole thing. Hopefully, that was the case.
V could feel her body tense at every secound, she fell to the ground and trying to hold back the memory in her head, tried to think of a good memory to replace it with. But for some reason she couldn't. She cringed as her fingers pinched her skull, she wasn't sure what to do.
Shira watching all this became concerned, what was happening to V? Sure the two shared the same body, but that didn't mean they knew exactly what was going on in their head.
She looked at Shiro through V's eyes, 'Why isn't he helping her?' she thought angrily. 'Why is he just standing there!?'
She tried to talk to V, but apparently she wasn't listening, or couldn't hear her. For she still sat in the same position, crying, while shaking like a leaf. This was top much for Shira, she wanted to help V, and destroy whatever it was that was causing her to be like this. But she knew she couldn't.
All she could do now, was watch...and see what would happen. She glared at Shiro, 'come on....' she said, 'You made a promise to me...didn't you!? You promised to try and keep V happy, here's your chance...so stop just standing there!'
