In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Yeah, but at least by "Reaction Command" they don't mean "JAM TRIANGLE!", they use different buttons you have to press, so you really need to react quicker. That's a plus.
People said the same about KH2 until they played through it. I think all that may be needed is clarity, instead of teaser trailers and third-party plot accounts.
I don't know. Between her and the Dark Soldier we're pretty in the dark here. My thoughts are they have a significant role in the game but don't want to leak anything out yet that could spoil the game.
If Ven has an obvious tie to Roxas they can't hide and Terra does in fact become Xehanort, Aqua likely has a destiny as well, but where's the fun in learning it if we find out before the release date?

I agree, finding out by someone telling you spoils the game, I personally can't wait to play the game itself and discover all these mysteries for myself ;D.
Supposedly, Aqua's the most powerful of the three. Powerful being defined by what? I'm not exactly sure, but hey, always good to see a hero in a video game that isn't just being classified as a heroin because of the fact she hugged something while being caught in an onslaught from above (I call that courageous stupidity... apparently Squeenix labels it as something else).
Though, we did get a glimpse of her fighting in the youtube vid posted back in page one... Compared to the others, I noticed that her style of fighting seems to be a bit more 'fluid' than the others (no pun intended), which reminds me sort of of the fluidity of the final form compared to the other forms.
One of the things I DO want to take significant note of... Apparently, in that same vid, Xehenort... appears to show regret for his actions...
By the way, do we have an official site for this game yet, something similar to KH:Days?
I noticed that too... which made me consider what Mickey said, and Xemnas reiterated in KH2 "Darkness isn't evil". Maybe Master Xehanort isn't all the bad guy we think him to be.
All I know is that Square Enix is known for it's plot twists, FFX for example, the games full of em'. With all the crud going on right now with Kingdom Hearts, either they're setting up the stage... or we can expect a major plot twist in at least one of these games...or a twist in all what is it... three? I haven't been keeping up all that well.
Indeed, darkness isn't evil. More like it's feral. Even King Mickey and Namine told Riku not to fear his darkness, but to embrace it along with his light. That led to him embracing the road to dawn.
However, my issue is... Xehanort, for all we've been told, WAS evil... and yet here he was being all remorseful... I see this as one of three things -
A: It's a trap, a ruse. He's saying it to manipulate them. B: Something happens to change Xehanort and turn him evil, or perhaps lustful for power to a much greater degree. C: Ansem/Xemnas, or rather Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody, isn't Xehanort at all, but rather, Mickey was lying again to Sora so he could keep a promise he'd made.

Which? Xehanort, or Master Xehanort? Because we haven't been told or shown either were evil. Master Xehanort is still too vague to be simply "evil" and all we TRULY know of Xehanort-who-became-Ansem is that he did not stop delving into his research on Hearts when commanded to. He opened his heart to darkness to aid that research and reaped what was sown. No where was it said he was really "evil".

Except he never lied a first time. All he told Sora was that he promised he couldn't tell. There was no lie involved.
To think that Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas the Superior are not Xehanort would retract everything known about the first two games and their origins. Option C is the most unlikely of the choices.
